Stepping back a little bit, Gio watched Arielle as she moved towards the fountain. He kept his pace slower as he followed behind her. Allowing her to have some space as she took in the interesting display of the fountain. Then, he stopped walking and allowed for the Princess to make her way around it on her own. "It's true name is the Fountain Of Life." He told her, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jacket.
"It's named that because of those tendrils at the top." Gio paused to motion for her to look at them. "Are suppose to signify souls that are traveling towards Heaven. In the artists' representation, he pictured souls as smoke-like things and travel upwards, and like smoke. It just keeps going up and up." Gio shrugged his shoulders as he finished. He had just read the plaque that was on the front of the fountain, and wanting to seem cool, he rephrased it and tried to seem cool.
"What do you think?" Giovanni asked as he moved to stand a bit closer to the Human Princess. "Do you have any odd statues where you're from?" Raising his head, Gio looked around the small park. It was so quiet out, it was hard to believe that it wasn't the dead of night or something.
Slowly, shifting his gaze, Gio looked around for what else they could do before moving on to find some greenhouse for the Princess. "In walking distance, there are a few things for us to do." He said, looking back down towards the Princess. "We can go to a local cafe and get some drinks, there's a quaint bookstore nearby, possibly a chocolate shop nearby is open as well or we could just walk around the city center and see what catches your eye."
Smoothing out his outfit of the day. Gio waited patiently for the Princess to bring up what she wanted to do. He knew she wanted to go to a greenhouse, but that'd have to wait as the closest one was a few miles away near the edge of town.
