-The next day-
It had felt weird having almost a whole day hidden away in her room. While she didn't have any major responsibilities while with the vampires, Arielle did have certain expectations of her that she was supposed to meet. Like joining them for dinner or, more specifically, being seen spending time to Gio. Though she had blown it all off yesterday to nurse her hangover and her tired body. It was nice but it was time to get back into being a proper guest. But, admittedly, she had really enjoyed taking a break from worrying about vampires. But now she was out and they were everywhere. And Arielle could tell that some of the nobles were now gaining the courage to speak to their future human queen. Unfortunate.
Once she had finished her discussion with a rather energetic vampire, Arielle slipped through the halls in the hope of not being noticed. She had already had breakfast with the Queen, who was up and about at the same time as Arielle. And now she was finding somewhere to hide from the nobles. Arielle felt uncomfortable taking to vampires as it was and adding the fact that they were nobles made it worse. She had no idea what the expectations were from the royalty here and didn't want to say the wrong thing.
Eventually, she found herself in a music room. There were plenty of instruments set up nicely and Arielle's favorite thing was that some soundproofing had been done. Of course, some of it would be heard but at least she would not be playing for the whole castle of vampires.
Taking a violin, Arielle moved to the center of the room with a stand and music and started to play. It was one of two instruments that Arielle actually had any skill in and she loved it. She decided to play something a bit relaxing, thinking to herself as she did so. At some point, she would need to go find Giovanni but she could spend her morning doing this.
[I am imagining that the King tells Gio the decision the council made that morning. So Gio knows he is expected to bite her before they meet up]
