For months, Kira had been searching high and low for any answers about her family. It seemed like her family had never existed. After she changed for the first time during the full moon, the family that had taken her in taught her what they could. Kira could handle the change now, it had been years since the first time. Three months had passed since Kira was suddenly being drawn away from the place she had called home. It started as just a feeling and then she felt as though she was being watched. Kira ignored it until she came face to face with a wolf.

That was months ago, it felt as though she was drawn to the wolf. Now here she was, standing at the edge of a forest which was miles away from her home. After walking for what felt like hours, she caught a glimpse of what looked like a small community in a clearing. As she moved closer, Kira suddenly felt someone grab her, “We’ve been wondering how long it would be before you came back.” A woman with blonde hair and green eyes was looking at her, “Come on.” She lead Kira into the clearing. The woman looked at Kira, “Apologies, I’m Emma. I knew your mother.” Suddenly, a man with dark hair and brown eyes was before them and Emma spoke again, “And this is Brian.” Kira recognized his eyes, “You’re the wolf I’ve been seeing...”

Zacky moved out from the shadows of the trees as he had done so many times in the last few months. Ever since he had laid eyes on her, it was becoming more and more addicting to see her. He wasn’t sure why, but Zacky knew he had to be close to her. Seeing her beautiful brown hair as she moved, he wouldn’t mistake it for anyone else. Of course, he didn’t want to put her in danger so he had to keep his distance and just watch her.

Today, something was different, they had made eye contact for the first time and Zacky had been able to see her eyes. They were the most beautiful shade of blue and it pained him to look away, but he did. The distance between them was important until Zacky could figure out why he was so intrigued by her. He couldn’t get close to her until he knew what it was that was pushing him towards her. A sigh escaped his lips as he looked down and turned on his heels, going back towards the tree line. He had already spent too much time there, and he didn’t want to catch her attention.

Rian was out running around the woods. She could sense someone watching her. It had been the same man who had been watching her for months. Today they made eye contact with each other. She had to know who this man was and why he had been watching her so she decided to run after him. Gently grabbing his arm when she finally reached him. “Hey” she said as grabbed his arm.

Brian heard Emma talking about the girl coming back to the edge of the village. He had seen her few times and she was beautiful. He waited for them at the main house. “Yes” he replied when Kira said he was the wolf he had been seeing. “It’s nice to finally meet you” he then added with a smile.

Kira took the opportunity to look Brian over as he smiled at her. “It’s nice to finally meet you too, face to face,” she smiled softly. He was attractive, she honestly couldn’t find a single flaw on his face.

Zacky could hear her footsteps following him, he hoped if he didn’t acknowledge her, she would turn and leave. Feeling her grab his arm, Zacky sighed before turning to look at her, “Hey...” Zacky didn’t know where to begin with talking to her. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be here...” It was true, his entire pack would question what he was thinking going so close to the town.

Rian looked at him, keeping a hold on his arm. She needed answers about why he watched her all the time. She could tell he was human for the most part. “It’s okay. Why have you been watching me?” She asked as her blue eyes found his.

Brian watched her. His eyes tracing over her form. He couldn’t help himself especially since Kira was so gorgeous and he was finally seeing her up close. “Do you want anything to eat or drink?” He then asked as he made his way to the bar. He know she must have tons of questions.

Kira smiled, noticing Brian as he looked her over. She nodded quickly, “Yeah, that would be great.” She followed him to the bar, “What is this place?” Kids asked, still trying to piece it together. Hearing Emma say that she knew Kira’s mother caused her curiosity to grow.

Zacky sighed when she wouldn’t let go of his arm. He knew there was no easy way for him to get out of this, “Look, at first I wasn’t watching you.” Zack ran a hand over his face, sighing quietly, “This probably sounds crazy, but I just felt this pull and never knew what it was. One day when I saw you, it just clicked, I had to see you more.”
