A small hum escaped from the god of the underworld as he moved towards where he had left his drink. Raising it to his lips, Hades turned towards the door as he watched Persephone rush through it. The little reveal of everything had gone as good as he had thought it would. He knew she'd run from him, but, what he wanted to really see, was that look of realization when she learned he was going to marry her. That look, was all it took to warm the gods heart and make him feel alive for the first time in centuries.

In a way, it was quite sick. Getting pleasure from others distress, from watching white turn to black, but it was just who he was. There was no changing Hades, he was the king of the underworld, he's been in the dark since the time he was conceived by his titan parents.

Finishing his drink, Hades casually set it on top of the fireplace. His servants were sure to pick it up eventually, or else. Then, he started to calmly walk out of his office, ready to trail behind Persephone to make sure that she didn't get herself hurt or lost. That was the last thing that the King of the dead wanted right now, a lost goddess in his realm? Ugh, Zeus would find that to be hilarious.

"Don't stray to far, the souls of the damn like to pull people in." Hades called as he spotted Persephone at the threshold of his palace. "They could very well taint your soul or worst, try to steal your powers." He told her, finding it pointless in letting her find out the consequences on her own if she fell in.

Slowly, Hades licked his lips as he slowed his walk. "Why don't you rest for a while? I can show you around once you've gotten a few hours of rest." Although the amount of light in the underworld wouldn't change, Hades knew that some gods needed sleep to recuperate their energy and get a clearer mind on things.

Persephone stopped at the door as Hades spoke. The goddess did not like the sound of that, having her soul tainted. It was impossible to steal a God's powers but she didn't want to fight anything or anyone over that either. The goddess looked out at the scene of the underworld, a deep frown coming over her lips. It did look dangerous out there. There was no denying that. This was a place Persephone didn't know and didn't understand.

Though, was it really more dangerous out of the palace than inside it? Turning her head back, she watched as Hades slowly moved towards her. His words scared Persephone. She didn't want to be married to him, didn't want to be stuck down there. Persephone wanted to be in the mortal realm, as odd it might be. But that was where her powers had most effect. She wanted to roam and create spring. To lay out in the fields under the sun. There was no sun here.

Hades held an aura that Persephone didn't want in her life. There was something about him that made her want to run. But she couldn't tell what was more dangerous, the Underworld or the man who ran it. At least he promised not to harm her...

Persephone walked down the steps to the palace, glancing around as she did so. Now her movements had slowed down as she tried to make her decision. Though Persephone then slowly turned back to the man. "I don't want to rest. And I don't want you to show me around. I want to go home. I don't belong here."

The lights on the walls flickered as the ruler of hell followed after his soon to be wife. His expression was neutral as she tried to argue with him once more, proving that all of his attempts to get her to calm down were futile and useless. "You're not going to leave here," Hades said calmly as he stopped a few steps away from Persephone, his dark eyes taking in the young girl's expression as he spoke to her. Not an ounce of regret was written in his features or his voice.

"Do us gods truely belong anywhere? We are simply beings that have come into existence to help take care of the mortal realm and make sure it doesn't collapse on its self." Hades said as he allowed a small shrug of his shoulders to follow through with his nonchalant mood. He figured that Persephone would argue with him about this, so he wasn't going to stress her out to much, at least, he hoped not.

Slowly, Hades reached out a hand and offered it towards the young goddess to take. "Come, why don't we take a stroll together." Hades suggested as he slowly stepped towards the young goddess, being careful to not spook her too much with his intimidating presence. "This place isn't safe to wander alone, but if I am with you, then you can at least saturate your desire for exploration."

A small sigh escaped from the ruler of the underworld as he waited for Persephone to take his hand. If she so chooses to accept, then Hades will calmly walk with her and let her decide where she'd like to do. If she decides to not accept his invitation of going with her, then he'll have no choice but to unleash something that would surely spook the young girl into listening to him. His dog, Cerberus.

"I know I do not belong here." Persephone stated, her voice strong in that moment. "I create, I bring life through spring and the underworld is the opposite of that, is it not? And if we are 'simply beings that have come into existence to help take care of the mortal realm' then you are stopping me from doing that. I am unable to follow through with my responsibilities when I am down here. I am unsure you or Zeus have thought this through. Unless it is your desire to bring an endless winter to the human realm?"

Persephone was not wrong in her words. She wondered how much any of them had thought it through. Persephone was in charge of bringing spring and, therefore, summer to the mortal realm. The seasons were her responsibility. She came, brought good weather and then, when she left, the humans had their fall and winter. Though, without spring, her mother was unable to make the crops grow. If it was continuously winter, the humans would have a famine.

The goddess looked at Hades, finding the whole situation bizarre. Why was the man so calm? It seemed unfair when she was internally having a panic attack. Persephone could feel her chest tightening up, it getting harder to breath. At least she wouldn't pass out like those mortals did. At most the goddess would find it incredibly uncomfortable. Turning away, Persephone started to make her way into the underworld. It was beginning to seem like a good idea to get away from him and try to deal with the dangers of the underworld alone.

"I think I would be safer alone, thank you." Persephone said, snapping at him a little. "Though if you would like to assist, you can point me in the direction of the exit. I am going home."

A small sigh escaped from the ruler of hell as he rolled his eyes. Persephone was as hard-headed as her mother, and that was quite annoying, to be honest. Hades had hoped that the beauty in front of him would of been excited to explore this new side of the world. To see all of the cool things that the darkness could hide in it's clutches. Hell, was a dark and mysterious place that housed a lot of things that many gods wouldn't dare to lay their eyes upon.

"Very well then, enjoy your walk." Hades said, ignoring her words all together as he slowly turned his back towards the young lady. "Just don't pet the dog, he tends to bite." Hades said as he peeked at the young goddess over his shoulder before he started to walk down the hall and re-entered his study to finish that glass of wine that he had a servant pour for him earlier in the night.

Then, he snapped his fingers once more. Resulting in a ghost of a man coming in through the doorway a moment later. "Get me the orb." Hades ordered and the servant gave a bow of understanding before obeying his orders and reappearing moments later with a white sphere that was housed in what looked like a dragon's claw.

"Set it on the table." Hades commanded as he sipped the wine that he had left and then leaned forward. His eyes narrowed as he looked into the orb and couldn't help the small smirk that appeared on his lips as he caught sign of his beautiful Persephone. "Bring her to me, Cerberus." Hades murmured quietly as he snapped his fingers once more. Smirking once more as he briefly heard the rumble of his dog's growl before it vanished. Soon, she will be crying for help and Hades will be coming by to rescue her.

Relief flowed through Persephone as the God turned away and headed back into his palace. Though her eyebrows raised slightly as he left her with some final words, something about a dog. The Goddess wasn't overly worried about it however. Persephone had never met a dog that wasn't friendly towards her. Animals naturally loved the goddess and she was rather sure that it would be the same situation with whatever animal that Hades could speak about.

So she started to make her way away from the palace and down the path that was set before it. Just outside of the gates, Persephone could tell that the world there was unwelcoming. There was a dangerous aura to everything around her, causing Persephone to keep her eyes open and her hands to herself. It wasn't the type of place that the goddess typically found herself in, but she believed that if she was careful, she could get through it and back home. Now she just had to find the exit.

Before she was able to get far, however, a growling came from behind her. It was low, deep, and much louder than Persephone cared to hear. Slowly, she turned, hoping that whatever it was didn't see her, and that it was not looking for her either. Though, soon enough, her eyes landed on a monstrously large three headed dog, sniffing its way down the path. Fear now seeping into her small frame, Persephone took a few steps back, her heart pounding as she tried to think through her next move. She had some time but not enough to come up with a plan.

She looked out to the vegetation, knowing that she didn't want to touch it but it was the best place to hide in. There would be no outrunning a dog that was larger than her. So, Persephone used her powers to force it all to the sides, creating a path for her before forcing it all back, and creating more to form the perfect hiding spot for her. The dog wouldn't be able to see her, not hopefully the smell coming off of all the plants would mask her scent.

Though as the pup continued to move closer, it did so without hesitation. It stopped for a moment as it came to where Persephone had gone off path, now sniffing to figure out where the Goddess has gone. Terror moved down her chest as Persephone tried to turn and go further into into the strange world. But once she started to move, the dog started to bark wildly. Persephone screamed out as the mouth made it's way towards her. Thorns came from Persephone, wrapping around the dog's muzzle. But, instead he growled louder as it reached out a massive paw, now batting at her. Persephone managed to miss the first two swings but the third one threw Persephone to the ground, causing the woman to scream out.

It amused the ruler of hell greatly as he watched his plan work like clockwork. Persephone was all to wrapped up on getting away and his dog was easily able to track the young beauty. The enhanced sense of smell that Cerberus held was comparable to no human breed of dog. He could find just about anything and that was quite evident to the god of hell as he watched his dog easily find the woman within seconds. Seconds, not minutes or hours. Seconds.

"Good boy." Hades murmured as he watched his dog pawing at the young goddess. He stood back for a few more moments, allowing for her to become familiar with that fear that was now running through her veins. Making her more susceptible to what the ruler of this place has to offer her. Making her understand that this place was dangerous and there was no getting out unless he says so.

Then, once that terrifying scream escaped from Persephone's lips, Hades decided that enough was enough and he snapped his fingers. With a little bit of his power surging to life, Hades managed to appear next to his dog within seconds. "Down boy," Hades said calmly as he crossed his arms over his chest. His dark eyes focused on the young cowering goddess that was trying to hide.

"Do you see how dangerous it is now?" Hades asked, his head tilting to the side as he watched the cowering girl. "If I wasn't around, he could have easily torn you apart. Do you know how agonizing that would be?" He asked, then continued without letting her have a chance to speak. "Very, not to mention it'll take you ages to heal from it." A small sigh escaped from Hades as he rolled his eyes, acting all dramatic to bring out some of his sassy attitudes. "Woman, listen to me. I'm Hades, the ruler of hell. I know this place like the back of my hand. And if I tell you that a place is dangerous, you damn well better listen to me."

A small sigh escaped from Hades as he did his best to calm down. "Now, come back with me. You'll be safe in my palace."

Once Hades reappeared, Persephone looked to him with pure fear in her eyes. She was young but she wasn't so easily fooled. Either the man had sent the dog out to attack her or knew that the three headed beast would do so. If he had such command over it, Hades could have stopped it before it came to her. But it was clear to Persephone that Hades was willing to risk her well being to make a point. Though, knowing so changed very little. She was scared and the courage she felt before was gone now.

Persephone slowly moved onto her feet, wrapping her arms around herself tightly. Without a word, Persephone walked past Hades and made her way back to his palace. At this point, she didn't know what else to do. The goddess didn't want to get ripped to pieces. It wouldn't kill her but Hades was right in saying it would be painful and take forever to heal. She was sure the man would allow her to get hurt to make a point.

Many thoughts were going through Persephone's head. She knew that she wanted to get away, to go back home. Her mind was racing trying to think of ways to get out. Though no real solutions were coming to mind. It was beginning to seem like her best option was for someone to come and save her but that really wasn't the path she wanted to take. What if no one came? What if Zeus stopped anyone from helping her.

Tears started to well up in her eyes but Persephone didn't allow them to fall. Once she was at the door of the palace, Persephone stopped and turned her head to the side and looked off. She was waiting for Hades to come back, if she was lucky, the asshole would show her where her room would be.

As much as his cold dead heart didn't react to much anymore, Hades hated that look on Persephone's face. The look of fear, a look that the king of hell usually loves. Bathing in the torture of others. An yet, when he sees the look he loves too much on her face. It hurts him. It hurts him a lot.

Slowly, Hade's lips set into a frown. Not in the least bit happy with the possibility of having to see that terrible look on her face. "You should have listened to me," Hades said as he followed after the goddess that he had fallen head over heels for. For the woman that he wanted to one day make his queen. To help him rule the underworld. To help him spread the fear that he loved to feed on from the mortal realm.

"I told you that this is a dangerous place, it's not safe to wander around when you don't know what could be out there." Hades continued. His told even as he re-explained everything to the young goddess. "I know you're not happy being here, but I am trying to keep you safe." With that, Hades finished chastising the young goddess who was still new to everything in the dark that surrounded the dark King.

Moving towards the door, Hades opened it. "Come, you should rest." He said as he held the door open for her and then closed it behind her. Then, without a word, the dark King led the way towards the room that he had cleaned up for her. It's not often that Hades had a guest staying over. It was most likely over a couple of hundred years since then.

Silence fell over the pair as Hades walked through the halls of his home. He'd glance over his shoulder every now and again to see if Persephone was still following him or not. "I hope this room is to your liking." He'd say, trying to break the silence. Not sure what else he should be saying to her at the moment. He wasn't going to allow for her to leave him, so, what else could he say? He didn't want her hating him anymore then she probably already did. If only there was a way to get her to like the underworld.

Stopping at a door in the upper-level Hades pushed it open to reveal a beautiful room. "I know it's a little dark, but, once you sleep a little bit, why don't we see about adding some color since you seem to like that stuff," Hades mumbled as he stood in the doorway once Persephone entered. "Just call out if you need anything, alright? I'm sure one of my servants or I could help you out, alright?" An with that, the ruler of the underworld left the young goddess alone to rest, keeping an eye on her with his magic orb that he had in his office.

Persephone wanted to scoff at Hades as he mentioned that it was a dangerous place and that she had to be more careful. He was the one who was a threat to her, more than the underworld was. And it was he who brought her to this horribly dangerous place as well. If there was any true care to her wellbeing, she wouldn't even be down there. She was the one who had to keep herself safe because it was clear that Hades was not going to do that for her.

Once they made it into the palace, Persephone kept her eyes off of Hades, for the most part trying to ignore his presence was still following him. At least she was being brought to a room to rest. She had been worried that Hades would have expected them to share a room. It seemed that the man wasn't completely thoughtless of her own desires but it was cutting it pretty close.

When they arrived to the bedroom, Persephone glanced inside before stepping in. She took a moment to look around it. The God was right in saying that it was rather dark. But, admittedly, it was a rather beautiful room. Though persephone was unsure of how much she cared what the room looked like at the moment. It wasn't where she wanted to be and a nice room didn't make up for the fact that she was a forced guest in his home.

The Goddess kept her back to Hades until he eventually closed the door as he left. She stood there for a few long moments, her arms wrapped around her as she waited until the man was far enough away. It was once she was sure that Hades couldn't hear that Persephone bursted out into tears. Pure despair and fear was flowing through her and it had taken so much for her to hold it in until she was alone. Though even crying wasn't want Persephone truly wanted to do. She wanted to scream, to break something. Persephone wished she could have at least slammed the door in his face. She felt an unbridled rage in her that she had never felt before. But she couldn't show her anger, she couldn't break things and scream without someone coming running. Even with her situation, Persephone felt above such behavior and most of all, she wanted to be alone.

Though even though she tried to keep her anger in, some of it did seep out through her power, beginning to wrap around Persephone protectively. Though as that occurred, an irritated sigh left Persephone as she tore a few of them off of her. But even as she pulled them off, they continued to grow. After a minute of this, the goddess pressed a hand to her head before heading into the bed, still sobbing as she tried her best to calm herself down.It wasn't long before she fell asleep.

Once the king of hell was in his office, he watched the young goddess through the magical orb that he had. Securely placing it on his desk in his office instead of on a table in the study. The god relaxed back in his seat and watched the young beauty. The tears that slipped down her cheeks were evident to him that she was upset, and that caused a small pang in his chest. What that feeling was though, Hades had no idea. All he knew, was that he wanted to reach out and wipe those tears from her cheek and whisper sweet words into her ear.

A small gagging feeling escaped from Hades at the thought of sweet words coming from him. They sounded so vile to him. So, revolting. Why would anyone want to whisper sweet words to someone? What happened to hair pulling, and slapping someone so hard as they explained that the pain they were inflicting was a replica of how much they appreciated their significant other? That was the kind of love that Hades was used to, and yet. This girl, Persephone, made him want to act the opposite of how he was used to acting. It was so, so, odd to him.

Having had enough of watching the young goddess sobbing into the pillows, Hated decided to head to bed himself. He couldn't take any more of watching the woman he was falling head over heels for crying. It made him sick to watch, knowing that he, the king. The ruler of hell was the cause of it.

After a not so restful night, Hades walked through the halls and stepped out onto the back porch of his godly estate. "Fetch me Persephone! Now!" He commanded his subjects as he moved his hands up and started to work his magic on the dead earth that was under his feet. Then soon, stone walls of dark stone and blue hellfire rose from the ashes around the edges of the property. Then, dark thorn bushes with thorns that were as sharp as knives started to appear against the walls he had created as well as lining a path that would lead one to the newly created backyard to the center. Where a water fountain would stand, a dark grey dragon appeared to be wrapping around the sides of it, water pouring out of it's opened mouth and pouring into the fountain. Now and again, some steam would erupt from the dragon's mouth. Warming the water to make the water room temperature in case one wanted to soak their feet in the water.

Finally finished with the creation of a dark garden for the lady. Hades slowly lowered his arms. Then, a look of realization appeared on his face before he quickly raised his hands and created one more thing for his new beloved. A dark sun appeared above the garden, emitting an ominous light over the garden. It didn't affect anything else, just the dark plants that he had created for the garden. Then, finally, the King lowered his head and nodded his head in approval. Now, all he needed was to know what his beloved thought of the gift he had created for her.

Persephone was woken up to a loud banging to the door to her room. As she opened up her eyes, Persephone let out a sigh, seeing the room that she was in. The goddess had been hoping it was all some terrible dream. Though it seemed that was not the case... Slowly she turned over to her bed, facing the door where all of the loud noise was coming from. The goddess could only assume that they had gotten louder and louder as Persephone continued not to answer them. "What is it that you want?" Persephone called out to the door.

It was a scruffy man's voice that responded. "King Hades demands your presence." Persephone let out a scoff as she turned back in her bed. "I will not come," Persephone responded back before burying her body back into the bed. She didn't care that Hades 'demanded' it. In fact, she cared very little for what the man wanted at all. Though as she thought about the fact that she would not get out of bed for that monster, Hades' subjects were beginning to pour in.

The thorns that had grown from Persephone from the night before were now covering the bedroom floor. Though despite the pain and the painful scratches that ran up and down their legs, they made their way to Persephone, not insisting that she leave her room and see Hades. Persephone couldn't help but wince as she watched, seeing the trail of blood that they had caused from the door to her bedside. It seemed that they feared Hades enough to fight her thorns.

Even though there was nothing that they could do to Persephone now that they were in the room, Persephone let out a sigh and agreed to meet with Hades before shooing them out of her room to wait outside of it, clearing the thorns out of the way to let them out. Even though Persephone wasn't particularly strong, she was still strong than them by far. It was only other Gods that she had to be careful with... But despite that Persephone didn't want to go see Hades, it seemed like the better choice than watching the subjects injury themselves and continue to pound on her door. Besides, Persephone hadn't even seen Hades when he was angry yet.

So, getting up, Persephone spent a short amount of time getting ready before heading out of the room, at which point the subjects started to lead the goddess to where Hades was waiting for her.

Turning his back towards the garden, Hades closed the door. He wanted the garden to be a surprise for the young beauty. He wanted to show her that there was some beauty down here and that not everything that she's seen so far was scary and would possibly harm her. Although the bushes were probably harmful, Hades didn't realize that.

As the sound of footsteps met the dark lords' ears, a grin started to spread. His lovely Persephone was arriving. She was going to love the garden that he had just created for her. He just knew it, he felt the excitement in his bones. The surge of excitement ran from his toes to his undead heart. He was excited, this was a new and big feeling for the god of the underworld.

"Ah, you've finally come," Hades commented as he eyed the young beauty that was in front of him. His grin still evident as he looked her up and down. As beautiful as ever, then again, Persephone was the picture of beauty in his eyes. She could do no wrong in his mind. She was to marry the god of the underworld after all. "I have something to show you, my love." He told her, not caring to see if she was disgusted or delighted to the little pet name that he had just presented her with as he turned his back to her.

Reaching out, Hades threw open the back doors of his palace to reveal the garden that he had just created for her moments ago. "This is your private sanctuary," Hades said as he turned to the side and stepped back so that she could get a clear view. "Now, you may exit the palace and get some fresh air without worrying about monsters or your soul being damaged," Hades said as he looked towards his beautiful Persephone. "Please, come take a look." He said as he motioned for her to step forward and out into the garden that he had created for her.

Persephone stopped in front of Hades, a frown on her lips as she did so. She didn't know what he would want from her but the young goddess was concerned as to what it would be. As Hades spoke, Persephone took another step forward. But her nose wrinkled as he called her love. It was not what she had wanted to hear from him in the least. Though, she kept her mouth closed on the issue as Hades continued on.

The young goddess was surprised as Hades threw open the doors to show her the garden. It was not what she had been expecting in the least. She was rather sure Hades would make more demands of her or start to play with her heart. With the way his servants had acted, Persephone was sure that the God would be in an awful mood. She was rather scared to come, especially after seeing them scratch themselves upon her thorns. It had been gruesome. But it seemed the opposite. Hades was boarding on ecstatic and was even offering her a private sanctuary in his home.

At Hades' request, Persephone headed down the steps and into the garden. She glanced around, looking at the features of it. Despite it being a garden, it looked rather grim. The plants were so dark, the fountain seemed to be a menacing dragon and even the sun was darkened. She walked around the fountain, looking at it closely before looking to the bushes that surrounded the garden. It definitely was not a place that reflected her soul well despite the fact that it was a garden.

Slowly, Persephone turned back to Hades. "Did you... did you make this?" Persephone asked him softly. It would make sense if he had. Hades wasn't skilled in nature or plants. Darkness he could definitely do though. It was impressive enough that he was able to create what he did. "I don't understand." Persephone continued. "Are you giving this to me? Why would you do that?"

Taking slow calculating steps, Hades followed his little goddess as she examined the newly created garden. Her expressions pleased him because they weren't a plain feat that she was emitting. She was showing him something other then the one emotion he's seen since she had arrived here.

"Who else could of created this? We're the only ones here." Hades responded as he looked at the young beauty that was in front of himself. Then, he looked back around the garden that he had created. To him, it was quite beautiful. All of the dark colors mashed together nicely and it even smelled sorta nice. Kinda, he still preferred the smell of burning flesh over this, floral stuff.

Looking back to the young goddess the god of hell couldn't help but to smile ever so slightly as she continued to speak to him. "Because you seem stressed you beyond belief, so I thought that this place would help you relax a little bit. You are interested in gardens, aren't you?" Hades threw a question back at the young goddess, an eyebrow arched as he hoped that he hadn't scared her to badly.

"Do you like it?" Hades asked, his voice quiet as he hoped that all of the magic he had used up to create this place wasn't in vain. He hoped that she did enjoy it, that she would finally start to relax and enjoy being here. With him, her lover.

"Yes, I do have an interest in gardens, and other plants" Persephone responded back to him. She was just not sure how much she liked this garden. It screamed Hades but it didn't even whisper her name. Though, with the knowledge that Persephone would be down in the Underworld for longer than she wanted, she did like the idea of having somewhere she could go that wasn't her room. If this was meant to be her private sanctuary, maybe Hades would be less likely to pop in whenever he wanted.

It took Persephone a moment to figure out how to respond to Hades' question. She didn't want to offend Hades, worried that he would grow angry with her. But she was curious how much the garden would truly be hers. "I appreciate it, truly. I do enjoy having a garden or nature close to me and it does bring me much comfort. Though would you mind if I planted items in here as well?" The strange well she didn't mind as much but the dark plants were a bit too gloomy for her.

Heading over to the large bushes that surrounded the garden, Persephone started to inspect them closely. The plants in the underworld were unlikely anything she saw on Earth or in Olympus. Though that was to be suspected. She wondered if the almost hedge-like feature would really be able to keep out the souls and monsters in the underworld. They were just plants, weren't they? Persephone reached in and ran her fingers against the leaves and the branches, at first not thinking much of the thorns that were in there. Though once she had slid against one, her eyes widen and she pulled her hand out with a pained gasp.

She glanced down at her hand, seeing the blood run down her palm from a deep gash. Surprise moved over her face more than pain. No plant was able to hurt Persephone. She could walk over the most painful of plants without so much as a scratch. It was part of her powers as a goddess. Though perhaps she should have known that the plants from a death God would cause pain.

A small nod of his head was all that Hades gave for Persephone as she commented that she did enjoy something that he knew about. That she wasn't going to out and tell him that she despiced something that he so easily knew to be true. A lie this soon in their relationship wouldn't be a very good thing after all. The god of the underworld wasn't to fond of being duped.

"You may add anything that you like to this place." Hades said simply as he crossed his arms behind his back as he stood tall. "This place is to be your private sanctuary, I merely started the construction of it for you and gave you a perimeter." He told her as he kept a close eye on the young woman. Making sure that she didn't try and do anything stupid like trying to run or something. Not that she'd really be able to anywhere anyways.

"Ah-" Hades murmured as he reached out towards the young goddess as he watched her reach out towards the thorny plants that he had put along the wall. His words were caught in his throat as he watched Persephone pull her hand back sharply and then noticed the trail of blood that seemed to have developed in the matter of seconds along her beautiful pale skin.

Instead of finishing his words, Hades merely let out a small sigh and moved to kneel next to Persephone. He didn't say a word to her as he kept his eyes on her hand. He gently reached out and grasped her wrist with his cool hands and looked over her wound. A blank expression on his face as he wordlessly pulled up his sleeve and pressed it against the cut to stop the bleeding. As gods, they didn't take very long to heal, so he knew even if the cut was a bit deep, it'll only take a matter of minutes to stop bleeding. "Does it hurt still?" Hades asked quietly as he glanced up towards Persephone face finally. His tone gently as he felt his frown tugging at his lips. "I can get you something for the pain, or use my magic to help heal your wound."

As Hades kneeled down beside her, Persephone's gaze dropped from her hand to the God. She didn't stop him as he took her wrist with his cold hands. Instead, Persephone just watched silently as he looked over her wound and then pressed his sleeve against it. The goddess found his actions rather confusing. She was unsure who he was as a person, what kind of man he was. Yesterday Persephone found him overly cruel but today Hades seemed much more caring. While Persephone was upset with being forced to stay in the underworld, she was aware that she rather deal with the way Hades was today than the way he was yesterday.

"It does hurt, a bit." Persephone responded to him. "Though I do not believe that I need anything, it shouldn't take long to heal." Her eyes lifted up to see Hades' face. She could hear the care in his voice, see the hint of the frown coming along his face. It was rather odd to her, why he would feel that way. Why would he care about her in the least? Hades barely knew Persephone, if at all. He kidnapped her to become his wife before he even knew her.

Persephone could feel some of the anger bubbling up in her again, but this time she let out a sigh to try and relax back down. Screaming at Hades wasn't going to get her out of here. And, she didn't really feel like pissing off the God after he gave her the garden. Persephone didn't want it to be taken away. It would surely be one of the few things that kept her sane as she tried to figure out a way out. "I just didn't realize that the thorns would be able to hurt me," Persephone told him softly. "Usually I am immune to any kind of plant harm."

After a moment, Persephone started to wiggle her fingers. The pain was still there but it had lessened greatly. Now it felt more sore than anything else. "I think the bleeding has stopped."

A very subtle nod was all the indication that Hades was still listening to Persephone as he glanced back down to where he was holding her wrist. Her skin was so soft, so smooth. It was a stark contrast to his rougher skin. Years of ruling the underworld on his own, gaining scars from fights and just everyday labor that he did personally to keep this place running and keeping the souls of the damn in line.

Then, as Persephone said that she thought the bleeding had stopped, Hades ever so slightly pulled his sleeve from her wrist. His dark eyes still looked over her scratch, then a small barely noticeable not escaped from him. "It stopped bleeding." He murmured quietly as he twisted her wrist back and forth slightly as he looked over the scratch. It was still a little split and he could see through a few layers of skin, but the bleeding had indeed stopped. A scratch this style wouldn't take more then another five minutes or so to completely heal.

Without saying anything, Hades leaned forward slightly and placed a small kiss to Persephone's cut before pulling back and standing up once more. "Do you have anymore questions for me about the garden or anything in general?" He asked as he looked down towards his new lover before looking around the decent-sized garden he had created for her. Truth be told, he was quite excited to see what she wanted to add to the garden. It'll be a nice mixture of their two personalities.

"When you're feeling up to it and want to add in your own plants." Hades started, going back to their earlier conversation. "Make sure that they're very hearty plants, the sun you see is artificial. As well as developed for the underworld, so not many earth plants will be able to survive here." He told her honestly, not wanting her to be upset if she grows a beautiful flower bed and wakes the next morning to find it completely decayed.

The young goddess held her breath for a moment as Hades pressed a kiss to the small cut on her hand. Once he pulled away, her hand dropped back to her side and Persephone turned her head, looking off to the garden. She found it strange that Hades was trying to push any kind of relationship between the two of them. Especially since she did not want one. What Persephone had done to cause this idea from the God of Death was unknown to her.

Taking a few steps away, Persephone went back to glancing around the garden. Despite Hades' many...shortcomings, this, at least, she could appreciate. A place to go and use her abilities. To grow things, and maybe be able to relax in a place that would be more like her. It might take some time to grow a garden in the underworld but, unfortunately, it seemed she would have plenty of time to figure it out. Maybe by the time she is finally able to go home, Persephone might have made something beautiful.

"I do not have any questions about the garden. Thank you for gifting this to me." Persephone said before turning back to Hades. She glanced over his face for a moment before continuing on. Her hands came together, for a moment before her thumb started to run over the cut on her hand, where Hades had kissed. She started to feel the anger she had felt the day before rise in her chest. Persephone had come in, not wanting to start a fight but the truth was she was still furious she was forced to be here.

"Though I do have a question for you." The young goddess said. "Do you really plan on keeping me here despite my wishes? Are you so confident in yourself that you think you will be able to change my mind about marrying you?"
