Meredith remained silent as she followed Reanna through the stacks, passing her books when she asked for them so she could put them away. She couldn't fly like the other fae could, so she kept her wings tucked out of the way while she let her put the books on the higher shelves back, her tail wings dragging along the floor behind her. She shook her head a little when she asked if she'd gotten around to reading any of the books, frowning a little as she peeked out at her around the stack of books. "No.. I'm sorry, I'll bring them back tomorrow, I promise. That way someone else can use them." She murmured, looking down at her feet once more. She knew Reanna was trying to cheer her up, but she didn't think it was possible, especially given how awful she felt.
Jasper grinned a bit as she rested her hand on his arm, feeling absolutely wonderful. He was relieved that they were getting alone, that Emberly was excited for the ball, and that she seemed more than willing to become his wife eventually. Things were going so smoothly, and he couldn't wait until he could marry her. He chuckled a bit when she pointed out that she didn't have any favorites, giving a little nod. "I suppose that's true, but I'm sure you have preferences already. You must like some things more than others at this point, you've been here nearly a week." He blinked a little in surprise when she asked about the bond, looking over at her. He wondered why she was bringing it up. "Well.. It's different for everyone, but overall it's always something that ties two souls together. For instance, Meredith and my brother. They're bonded, so their souls will always be tied together from now on. Some people feel closer emotionally, but it depends on the bond. It's something that's rare, since it can only be offered if the love is genuine and true, and will always remain true. But it can be hard for some people to adjust to it. Why do you ask?"
