@ Jinx...
Jasper frowned a bit as she pulled away, suddenly feeling a bit panicked that she didn't remember who he was, and that she wasn't interested in him. He wouldn't leave here without her, though, so he hurried after her through the crowd, wings fluttering a little underneath his shirt out of nerves, so he was glad he'd had them strapped down to hide them.
"You were lost in the forest. I thought you might be a giant or a dryad, but you told me you were a human, and that your mother was looking for you. We played tag and hide and seek and all sorts of human games, and I promised you that I'd take care of you, Emberly. And I meant it." He said when he finally caught her, holding onto her hand a bit tightly as he looked down at her, reaching down to gently tug at a strand of her hair like he'd done when they were little. "Have you really forgotten?"
Meredith laughed a little as he spun her around one last time as the dance ended, and she had to hold onto his shirt to keep herself steady as she'd gotten dizzy. She looked up at him with a little smile and a blush when he asked if she wanted to dance again or show him around the festival, nodding a little in agreement. "I can show you around, if you'd like... it's odd that you've never been to the festival before, doesn't your village have one too?" She asked curiously as she led him away from the dance floor, heading to the table where the drinks and food were kept, hoping to get a pastry for herself if there were any left.
She thought it a bit odd that he was so taken with her, especially considering she was likely to become a healer, which meant that they couldn't be together. She wondered if maybe he didn't know about that, or if his village did things differently than they did here. But he was kind and sweet, and she didnt mind showing him around while he was here.
