Jasper frowned a bit as she pulled away, suddenly feeling a bit panicked that she didn't remember who he was, and that she wasn't interested in him. He wouldn't leave here without her, though, so he hurried after her through the crowd, wings fluttering a little underneath his shirt out of nerves, so he was glad he'd had them strapped down to hide them.

"You were lost in the forest. I thought you might be a giant or a dryad, but you told me you were a human, and that your mother was looking for you. We played tag and hide and seek and all sorts of human games, and I promised you that I'd take care of you, Emberly. And I meant it." He said when he finally caught her, holding onto her hand a bit tightly as he looked down at her, reaching down to gently tug at a strand of her hair like he'd done when they were little. "Have you really forgotten?"
Meredith laughed a little as he spun her around one last time as the dance ended, and she had to hold onto his shirt to keep herself steady as she'd gotten dizzy. She looked up at him with a little smile and a blush when he asked if she wanted to dance again or show him around the festival, nodding a little in agreement. "I can show you around, if you'd like... it's odd that you've never been to the festival before, doesn't your village have one too?" She asked curiously as she led him away from the dance floor, heading to the table where the drinks and food were kept, hoping to get a pastry for herself if there were any left.

She thought it a bit odd that he was so taken with her, especially considering she was likely to become a healer, which meant that they couldn't be together. She wondered if maybe he didn't know about that, or if his village did things differently than they did here. But he was kind and sweet, and she didnt mind showing him around while he was here.

Emberly froze as he told her what she had only told her mother and Meredith when she was a child. She felt like all the breath was sucked out of her. "Stop it!" she snapped her eyes sad and starting to gaze with tears. She shook her head and pulled her hand out of his. "That is cruel. I don't know who put you up to this but that is too cruel. It was Meredith wasn't it?" she said and turned running through the crowd until she was heading out of the festival heading to a near by church. Emberly couldn't think of anyone else that would tell someone what she had said happened to her as a child. She had made it up as a scared child nothing more. She ran through the doors of the church and went up the wooden rugs to the bell tower crawling out over the roof. She sat there on the roof looking over the forest the moon rising through the trees. She hugged her knees. Emberly knew it had been rude to pull away from him like she had but she couldn't help it. Part of her still believed that little fairy was out there somewhere. If she hadn't believed it she wouldn't have gone to search for him again and again in the forest as a child.

Emberly snuffled and turned hearing someone clambering up the rugs and their head popping over the side of the bell tower. "Haven't you done enough?" she asked seeing Jasper. He really wasn't giving up here. She sniffed and patted her eyes gently trying not to wipe all the glitter away.
Leo shrugged. "We have balls but it is nothing like this. I would love for you to show me around. Thank you." he said and smiled at her. "I heard a couple talking about games a while ago. What kind of games?" he asked her smiling as he walked with her watching her happily choose a pastry from the table. Human food was completely unappetizing to him. That was what happened to the Fae. That was why if a human ate from the tree then they could never return home or they would die. It was a murky they took the human into their care.

"I haven't played a lot of games and I am curious because I like games." he said hoping she would take him over to them. He smiled as they started to head away from he food tables as she munched on her snack. She was cute like a bunny with a carrot. He smiled as he walked easily beside her.

Jasper had hurried after her as quickly as he could, although once he'd gotten inside the church he freed his wings so he could easily and quickly reach her up in the bell tower, although he'd tucked his wings back into his shirt and made the climb by himself for the last ten feet or so, knowing it was against Fae law to show her his wings outside of the forest.

"No one put me up to anything, Emberly. I don't even know who Meredith is." He started with a frown. "I'm sorry if I said anything that upset you.. I didn't mean to hurt you, truly. Maybe.. Maybe you'd like to talk about whatever it is that's bothering you? I might not know much, but I know that talking about something can sometimes help you cope with and move on whatever happened.." He suggested. It was something his mother had taught him, and he hoped that it would come in handy now. He needed to change tactics with Emberly, and he needed to act fast, as he only had a few hours before midnight, when his potion would wear off, and he'd need to not only get her to the forest but also get her to take the potion he'd brought for her.
Meredith nodded a little when he mentioned games, picking a berry tart from the table before starting to lead him through the crowd toward where the games were. "I'm not very good at games.. But I'll stay with you if you want to play." She offered as she led him over to a little field where the various games had been set up. There was a game of horseshoes in progress, as well as a race set up where partners had to work together to race to the other side with one of their legs tied to the others, making it difficult to walk. There was also a ring toss and bobbing for apples for the younger children, and even an archery competition, where the best shot of the night would be crowned King of the Festival.

Emberly sighed as he defended himself. It was possible she had said something to one of the many kids of gypsies and merchants who her stories could not scare away. She looked out at the forest hugging her knees. "When I was a kid I got lost in the first having lost my shoe in the river. Being so little the river was so much faster and I have up realizing I was very lost and my shoe completely out of my grasp. It was my tears I believe that brought the little fairy boy to me." She shook her head. "Everyone has told me that it is all in my head, my imagination to save me from the fear of being alone in the forest all day." She looked down hearing him crawling out to sit beside her and listen to her story. She sighed. "I have grown since then so I know it is a delusion but my heart tells me a different story. You see we spent all day playing and talking. He was so kind. I had never met someone like him before and I wanted him to stay my friend forever. Then for days afterwards I went back to the forest to wait for him and play. He had promised me something and that meant he had to be around right? One day I spent all day going from one ring of toadstools to another dancing in them thinking the fairy boy would come back. I wandered into every tree circle calling for him but by mid day the tears that soaked my cheeks where enough to send me home. Every month after that I would go out there leaving little presents hoping he would come next time or the time after that. I spend several years believing despite what everyone said that he was real. It broke my heart when one day before my birthday I realized that my visits had been coming less and less frequent and he would never come back for me." she said and shrugged. "I think a part of me still wishes it to be true because then I wouldn't be the town crazy, for nothing I would be the one that believed." Emberly admitted snd rubbed her arms shrugging. "I know it doesn't seem like a life changing event but it was.
Leo grinned. "Maybe just one game so I can win you a prize." he said following her over to the field. He looked around and grinned as she talked about an archery competition. "Oh really now? Well let's see about this shall we?" he asked and they walked up behind a couple. A man stood with he bow in his arms as he tried to concentrate his chest puffed out like he had to show off for this girl in front of him and he chuckled. It was silly but yet wasn't he doing the same? Only he had been taught archery since he was a child. Once it was his turn he took the bow and arrow and smiled at Meredith before turning back to the targets healing aiming then releasing as the watched the arrow sore straight and true into the center of the target. He grinned. He honestly was just hoping that he would be able to crown Meredith his queen. That would sure take her by surprise.

Jasper carefully climbed up to sit next to her, wrapping an arm comfortingly around her shoulders as she spoke, wanting her to feel safe. He felt awful for having not gone to her like he'd wanted to every time she'd come to see him, but his mother had forbidden it, and Leo was tasked with being his shadow to keep him out of trouble, so he couldn't sneak out to see her when he wanted to. "I'm sorry... if it makes you feel any better, I believe you." He offered with a little smile, reaching up to brush a strand of hair from her face and wipe the tears from her eyes. "The Fae are real, and have their reasons for hiding from you.. I'm sure your friend wanted to see you, but couldn't for some reason or another."
Meredith blushed and laughed when he said he wanted to win her a prize, shaking her head a little. "The prizes are all silly, Leo.. They're for children." She teased, surprised when he chose the archery competition as his one game. She stared at the target in awe when his arrow struck the bullseye, turning to look up at him with wide eyes as cheers and congratulations erupted from the crowd around them. "No one's ever hit the center before... Baker came close, but he was drunk and everyone chalked.it.up to luck.. But you really hit the middle, like a real knight or something." She said in awe, and was about to say something else when the man running the game declared Leo the winner, knowing no one else would be able to beat him. As soon as the silly crown made of flowers and wheat was placed on his head, and the fancy cape around his neck and the scepter in his hand he was declared the King of Midsummer, which caused all of the girls who had been flirting with the other competitors to rush to his side to flirt with him, Meredith getting jostled and pushed aside by the crowd until she could barely see Leo. She think he'd miss her company when he had so many other girls to choose from, so she decided to head back toward the snack table to grab one more sweet before she headed home for the night, wanting to end her evening on a high note.

Emberly had nothing she could say too Jasper. She didn't know if he really believed her or not or if he had been one of the kids she had told at come point when she was young. Maybe he had promised to take care of her but Emberly couldn't say one way or another right now. He cupped her cheeks to wipe the tears away his gentle hands on her skin. She sighed. "Let's not speak anymore of the past." she said. Thought she felt comforted by Jasper she found herself not wanting that to challenge the notion of her memory or imagination anymore. She liked his company, She liked how normal he made her feel. Even if it was all an act then she would figure it out later right now she just wanted to enjoy the Festival. Emberly looked back out at the trees as the paper lanterns strung up through the trees where light up finally.
Leo frowned. He bit his lip. He hadn't known it was that hard to do or he would have fudged it. He chuckled as someone set a crown on his head and gave him such ridiculous things. He looked at Meredith. "Oh well no I'm not a knight." he shrugged. "Really it wasn't that big a deal." he said and frowned as people where interrupting him and pushing past others to get too him. He rubbed the back of his neck. He looked around the crowd frowning as he watched Meredith starting to walk away. "Excuse me." he said and worked his way through the crowd. It was rough to get through the pack of hungry hyenas just wanting the best arm candy on their arms. He shook his head and eventually caught up to Meredith and plucked the crown off his head setting it on her head. He slipped the setter into her hands and grinned. "There now, I said I would win you a prize." he smirked. "How do you feel like being royalty for the night my lady?" he asked and bowed to her. Leo was pretty sure he could feel the glares on his back, as it was something that was just not done, but he didn't care and smirked up at her. "I would feel most honored if you would allow me to bestow this gift on you." he teased a little but in truth would feel much better about sharing the attention he had unknowingly caused.

Jasper nodded a little, rubbing her back soothingly. He was glad she was calming down a little, and didn't seem mad at him anymore, so he took it as a good sign. As his fingers brushed over her shoulderblades he wondered to himself about how she'd look once she had wings, although he pushed that thought aside. There'd be plenty of time for those thoughts later, but now he needed to work his magic and get her to fall for him. "Alright, no more talk of the past... Would you like to dance again? Or maybe play a game? Or show me around the festival and your village?" He suggested, nudging her side lightly. "You're too pretty to be sitting up here crying the night away."
In their rush to get to Leo someone had elbowed Meredith in the nose, causing it to start bleeding a little. When he caught up to her she was holding a rag to it to try to stop the blood from getting everywhere, a bright blush heating up her cheeks when he placed the crown on her head and the scepter into her free hand. "But.. But you're the King, you have to wear the crown." She said, taking the crown off to return it to him. "Besides, you don't get to choose the Queen. The judges of the costume contest do, and even though you get a vote, there are three other people, and Persephone Clearwater always wins.." she explained with a sad little smile, gesturing over to the girl in question, who was obviously fuming mad that he'd tried to give Meredith what she thought to be her crown. "I'm fine with just being Meredith tonight, your Highness. No use in causing big fuss over nothing important." In truth, her heart had skipped a few beats when he'd offered to make her his Queen, but the rules were the rules, and taking the crown wasn't worth pissing off the other village girls.

Emberly chuckled. "This is where I come to think. It has the most amazing view of the forest." she admitted and looked over at him looking up at the stars. "And at night..." she waited a moment so he knew he was looking up too. "At night you see all the stars in a sky that sometimes I feel like I could fall right into and be completely happy." she blushed. "I think it would be amazing to be able to fly." she said and looked over at him the moonlight and smiled. His hair almost caught the light of the moon and his eyes reflected the stars. Yes he looked magical. "You seem to have got me at a disadvantage Jasper. I have told you far too many secretes of mine and you haven't told me a one of yours." She said and stood looking down at him.
Leo frowned seeing her holding a rag to her nose. He made a sound as she tried to deny his gift inspecting her wound. He smiled softly looking into her gorgeous eyes. "Kings don't have to do nothing. Isn't that the point?" he asked. "And it's just a festival." He whispered to her looking at the seething girls. "But you're right let's get out of here before someone decides to cut your head off." Leo winked teasingly. He said looking at the girl Meredith said always won every year frowning. "Well she doesn't look so pretty with that scowl she's wearing." he shrugged, he wouldn't want to be caught near anyone with a presence like hers. "You are much more beautiful Meredith." he said and smiled. He could feel her spirit and it was amazing. "If it makes you that uncomfortable to wear it then I will take it from you, but... only if you will keep near me though. I enjoy your company far too much." he told her honestly. "Do we have a deal?" he asked grinning hopefully at her.

Jasper grinned as he listened to her while they gazed up at the stars. The view from his tree was much more beautiful, as you didn't have to worry about the lights from the village, and even though he wanted to tell her flying was amazing, he couldn't, at least not yet. He chuckled when she asked him for a secret, grinning as he looked down at her. "I'll tell you a secret of mine, but only at midnight, alright?" He asked before moving to climb down the ladder. "Now come along, let's go have some fun."
Meredith only blushed brighter as he insisted on inspecting her wound, although it wasn't bleeding much anymore, and mostly just looked a little swollen and bruised along with the bit of dried blood under her nose. "I'm fine, Leo. I promise." She reassured him, blushing even brighter as he called her beautiful, shaking her head a little, her golden curls catching the moonlight. "Alright, alright... I'll wear the crown. But that doesn't make me Queen." She said as he set it back on her head. It was too big for her, as it was designed for a man, and kept slipping into her eyes, causing her to laugh a little whenever she had to push it back up. "What are we going to do now? I'm pretty sure half of the party hates us, so we might want to get away from them until they've had a few more drinks and forget about us."

Emberly looked at Jasper for a moment then laughed. "Okay deal." She said and followed him down the ladder. She got to the ground and looked dup at him. "Okay where are we going then?" she asked him. "Did you want me to show you around, or did you want to play some games or dance? I have been to the festival so many times. I usually just eat a caramel apple, drink some cider and then head up to that roof. This festival is more to me than the rest of the village. They think it all fun and games and folk lore." she shrugged. "With is fine for them." she said and walked with him. She blushed looking up at him. He kept doing that, where he just let her talk and suddenly she was telling him things she would never normally speak aloud. She believed it was time for him to speak for a while.
Leo chuckled as she tried to deny her beauty. "Your hair is like the rays of sunshine that are rising up in the morning through the dew of the forest all golden and soft. Your eyes are like pools of clear water fresh and calming but with the power to bend rock to your will and your smile?" Leo chuckled. "I think you know you are entrancing." he smirked. "Certainly have me hooked." he winked grinning as she pushed the crown up her head and he helped her adjust it so it sat beautifully on her like a crown of flowers. He loved her laugh and wished to make her laugh again. He smiled as she said the people hatted them and shrugged. "Let's go for a walk in the forest." he said and smiled at her. "Then we can talk without all the eyes and they can go about their drunken hunt."

"I'm fine with whatever you would like to do." Jasper chuckled, ruffling her hair a bit as they quietly walked around the little town, close to the festival but far enough that they didn't have to worry about the large crowd bothering them. "I'm not hungry, but if you'd like something to eat we could go get something. We could also dance again, you're an excellent dancer." He complimented, pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. That was when he noticed his brother heading back to the forest, although with a human girl, which he thought was odd. "Huh.. Who is that girl, there?" He pointed at Meredith. "The man with her is my brother, but he had been adament that he wasn't going to have any fun or talk to anyone here.. but it seems he changed his mind."
Meredith's face was best red as he described her so beautifully, at a loss for words as he adjusted the crown on her head. She nodded a little when he suggested that they go on a walk through the forest, her arm linking with his as he guided her. She loved the forest, and spent a lot of time in it collecting herbs, but she was a bit nervous of going in at night, especially with a strange man and after hearing all of the horrible stories the adults told about the faeries and trolls that lived there.

"Well then a caramel apple is in order." Emberly said smiling at him. "If you are sure you don't want anything then we can walk around the village for a bit. Then we can dance again or play some game whatever you are up to really I have done this so many times but it is my first time seeing you here so you should get to experience everything you want." she said. She blushed as he kissed her hand and bit her lip.

Emberly's eyes lifted to see Meredith with some body. It was strange indeed. "That is Meredith. We use to be friends butt hen we just... grew apart as we grew up." she knew it was her fault Meredith would have stayed by her side no matter what she was loyal but Emberly had wanted her to move on with her life where Emberly was stuck. It was weird to see her heading into the forest especially with a guy. Emberly knew she was in training to be a healer because it was the only places that let her ask the questions, to ask why. She hoped there was more for her than that and Emberly hoped there was more for herself than just being the town crazy.
Leo grinned as she agreed seeming a little shocked with his description of her. It saddened him that she had not be lead to believe the beauty that was plain to him to see. He smiled as they walked towards the forest and kept to the lantern trail for a bit to ease her into the comfort of being in the forest alone with him at night.

Leo looked over at her. "Meredith..." he said softly knowing his time was nearly half gone and it saddened him. He wanted to spend more time with her but wondered if she felt the same as him. "Have you lived her all your life? Do you have family here?" he asked softly wanting to know about her. He supposed it was his turn to ask all the questions. Was she happy here? That was what he really wanted to know and he was sure if he came right out and asked it she would give him that look again that he was strange and not answer it or deny what he was already suspecting.

Jasper grinned. "That sounds like a perfect plan. Alright, my lady, lead the way." He said, gesturing for her to lead them back through the crowd to get her her caramel apple before walking around the festival with her for a while to see the different sights. He nodded a little when she told him who his brother was with, noticing that she also seemed to think it was odd that the Meredith girl was with someone. "I see.. You seem surprised to see her with someone, is she not supposed to be leaving the village or something?" He asked, wanting to know what his brother might be up to. He'd be happy for his brother if he'd found someone he cared about, but he also worried that maybe he was playing tricks, which wouldn't be very good at all.
Meredith made sure to stay close to him and to stick to the lantern path, not wanting to get lost in the forest, especially not on midsummer when the faeries were probably out and about. She looked up at him when he began to ask her questions, nodding a little. "Yes, I've lived in the village my whole life, with my mother and father.. Although father passed away a few years ago after a bad winter, so it's just my mother and I now.. But she's getting older too, and is upset that I haven't married anyone, or committed to becoming a healer, so I suppose she thinks that I'm a failure.." She murmured with a little sigh, looking up at the stars through the trees. "Sometimes... Sometimes I think that if I left, if I ran away or just disappeared, no one would really mind.. No one would look for me, no one would wonder where I had gone, or worry about whatever happened to me.."

Emberly grinned as she walked with him getting her apple and taking a bite humming at the caramel that touched her tongue. When he asked if there was something he needed to know about Meredith she shrugged. "She has been considering becoming a healer I think but hasn't made it official. Usually healers don't get husbands so it's odd to see her with someone but maybe she is changing her mind I wouldn't think too hard on it." she said and smiled softly. "Also she's kind of not the kind of woman that would go into the forest alone at night with a guy." she shrugged. "Come on let's go this way." she said not wanting to talk about Meredith anymore. "So you have a brother huh?" she asked him. "What is he like?" she asked kind of curious.
Leo listened to her and frowned as he listened to her tell her story about living here. It was awful. He wished she had the ability to take her away from it all right now but she was still so guarded with him. He had to find a way to convince her to meet with him again her in the forest. "I would notice your absence." Leo told her. "I might not live in this village but if I did live close to you I would notice." he said taking her hand and kissing the back of it softly. "You know if you ever wanted to get away from here and have that adventure..." he looked at her and smiled. "If you hang a lantern on a tree by a ring of toadstools here in the forest it could be a sign. I would come and get you and we could get away from here." he blushed softly and rubbed the back of his neck. "It's just a thought in case you ever needed an out." he said hoping she wouldn't think that offer over too hard.

Jasper nodded a little as she spoke, looking down at her with a little smile when she asked about his brother. "He's.. He follows the rules. Always. Which is why it's so odd to see him heading into the woods with that Meredith person... I'm sure he'll tell me what he was up to later." He said with a shrug, wrapping an arm around her shoulders to keep her close in the crowd, not wanting to lose her. "Do you have any siblings?" He asked after a while, curious as to what kind of family she had in the village. Overall, the villagers didn't seem to pay much attention to her, but if she suddenly disappeared, her family would definitely take notice..
Meredith frowned a little in confusion when he suddenly stopped and began to speak, a blush heating up her cheeks as he kissed the back of her hand and said that he would notice her absence. Her cheeks only grew redder as he continued to speak, looking up at him with wide eyes as he explained his plan. "You... You'd want me to run away with you?" She asked softly, feeling like her heart was beating a mile a minute and that she couldn't breathe. She'd only known him for a few hours, but he was the only one who'd ever given her any attention, and she couldn't help but feel some sort of weird connection to him. If anyone else had suggested it, she would have yelled at them and stormed off, but when Leo asked her... "Yes... Yes, I'd do that.."

Emberly chuckled. "Maybe he just follows the rules because you don't." she poked his side and took another bite of her apple. As he asked about siblings she frowned and shook her head. "Not anymore." she bit her lip. "A few years ago my sister died from the fever." she sighed. 'Honestly all I have left is my mom and she is very distant. She puts on a good try once in a while like I am her daughter but I really am just a disappointment to her and a constant worry." Emberly knew her mother believed the Fae where going to take Emberly away from her but with her mother's mind slipping away a little more every year only the paranoia was really left.
Leo nodded and smiled softly a bit shocked and yet relieved. He had no idea what he was saying. It was completely against the rules. She had no idea what kind of a new life she would lead with him. Leo look both her hands looking into her eyes. "Okay then if you need it then it is yours to choose but you should think on it because there is no coming back and the life you would share with me is not like the life you have here. It would be very different. I'm not just any man Meredith... I have formal training because I am part of the higher level of people in my village." he said waiting while what he said sunk in. He was a royal even if he didn't come out and say it like that.

Jasper frowned as he listened to her talk about her family, his arm tightening around her a little. "I'm so sorry, Emberly.. It must be hard. Have.. Have you ever considered leaving?" He asked softly, brushing his fingers through her hair gently. He was slowly leading her a bit further away from the forest, knowing it was getting close to midnight, and that he'd have to make his move sooner rather than later.
Meredith squeezed his hands a little when he took hers, nodding slowly as he spoke. She tilted her head a little in confusion when he spoke about living a different life, and being a member of a higher class in his village. "You said that your brother will be the leader of your village one day.. Does that mean you're part of the nobility?" She asked curiously, stepping closer as a cool breeze blew by, shivering a little in the cold.

Emberly shrugged as he apologized and looked up at him as he asked if she thought about leaving. "Aye, but who hasn't thought about leaving their life before?" She stepped away gently as they cleared out of the crowd and back into the empty streets. "What about you have you thought about leaving?" she asked finishing her apple and sucking the caramel off her thumb looking up at him.

Emberly felt safe and herself with Jasper but she hadn't had any of those butterflies return after they stopped dancing. Perhaps that was a good thing though. She couldn't very well fall for someone who would leave come the morn.
Leo frowned as she called him a noble. It didn't feel like such a great thing suddenly knowing if she did ever come to join him what she would be subjected to. He stepped closer wrapping his arms around her as she shivered. He rested his head on the top of hers. "Yes Meredith I am." he said and rubbed her back where her wings would have been if she was fae.

He couldn't believe how easily he had been caught up in the emotions and care for this human and he couldn't untangle himself. His brother had been right. His brother had known something he couldn't have understood until now. His parents knew Jasper was in love with a human and had told him that if his brother did something stupid he was next in line to wed a noble Fae and be crowned to rule. Leo didn't want that and it wasn't fair and now Leo knew he could not follow through with what his parents had planned for him.

Jasper gave a little shrug as she asked if he'd thought about leaving. "I have.. But my home is my home, and I cannot just leave.." he explained. He didn't want her to know that he was next in line for the throne, thinking it would only make her not want to be with him. After all, being King was hard work, let along being Queen, especially when she would have to learn so much. But he knew that she could do it, and he knew that even if his parents skipped over him for the throne, his brother would make an excellent King.

When he heard the music start up again through the quiet streets he smiled, offering her his hand with a little bow. "Care to dance, my lady?" He asked. The music was much slower and intimate this time, and he hoped he'd be able to get her to fall for him.
Meredith curled into his arms as he pulled her close, tucking her face into his chest as she breathed in his warmth, feeling safe and secure in his arms. She was a bit nervous about him being a nobleman though, and after a moment she looked up at him nervously. "Why.. Why me? I'm just a silly farm girl, with no money and no land or anything... You could have anything you wanted." She frowned, looking away as she began to doubt herself, starting to pull away from his arms, even though she didn't want to.

Emberly smiled and shrugged as he did. He understood then why she couldn't just leave. He seemed to look at her with so much thought and then a small spread across his face hearing the music. She chuckled and took his hand as he offered it her heart squeezing at the connection from his hand to hers. "Okay a dance sounds nice." she said and looked around. "Here though?" she asked and giggled as he pulled her closer signaling that here was the right place and she guessed he was right. Emberly swayed with him to the tender music. She ended up laying her head on his shoulder as she moved with him. She bit her lip gently and smiled feeling the skipping of her heart at how close they where. She hadn't thought someone could make her feel like electricity was buzzing through her body like lightening until she met Jasper.
Leo frowned as she pulled away but didn't stop her until she was almost all the way away and he tugged on her hands to keep her near. "Because Meredith never have I met someone like you. Never has someone been so kind and true than you with me. You are stunning and don't see it, you are amazing and someone along the lines has convinced you that you're not and I just can't pass by without telling you the truth others are afraid to tell you because once you know it and really believe it you will be a force to be reckoned with." he said looking down at her. "And being a noble is actually very lonely, we do not get the things we want that actually matter, like choice in love or time with our loved ones and my brother and I see that as a problem and are deciding to change some things. I had not realized I had felt how he had until I met you. You opened my eyes, and my heart."
