Artemis looked over at Jasper for the final decision.

He slipped her into the tub and started the warm water after pulling off her nightgown. Leo ran his hand through her hair and placed a kiss to her head. "Just a little longer love then we can give in." he told her knowing she was sated for now but just as he was they wanted more.

Emberly smiled as he tugged her hair. She didn't know what it was about it that made her smile so much. He spoke about her coming to his home and she thought about her mama and wouldn't be so sad to go with Jasper to his home. She nodded. "I would like to be small and see these places." she said and poked his belly. The vision faded to black all the color draining out before another started color starts to fill in as the picture cleared. "Emberly!" Emberly shuttered as she hid under her bed. She had just been talking with Meredith about the Fae when her mother had come out and caught them. Mama had told her to never speak of the fea again but how could Emberly not when she kept sneaking off to go see Jasper, or when Meredith's eyes lite up with every story she told. Mama stomped into the room and pulled Emberly from under the bed and tossed her onto the bed smacking her over and over. "Stupid girl they will come for you, you must forget them, you must forget the Fae." Mama yelled as Emberly howled a sob begging mama to stop. It was hours later and the nearly dark when Emberly snuck out the window running barefooted into the forest. she just needed to see Jasper. Each dad mama was getting worse but Emberly just wanted to be with Jasper. She ran into a toadstool ring and sat down her face still red with her tears and the mark from her mama but Jasper had promised to meet her so they could watch the meteor shower. Emberly looked up from her spot when she saw the little light and knew it was Jasper. "Jasper." she whispered and then beamed when his little wings reflected the moonlight. "Where are we going to watch the shooting stars?" she stood and looked at him as he flew up to her face. Emberly felt home with him here.

Meredith hummed as he carried her to the bathroom, curling up in his arms in the tub once they'd settled into it. She nodded a little as she leaned against him, pressing a few little kisses to his collarbone. "I know, Leo.. I'll try to be better about it, I promise."

"We'll go to the big rock, this way!" Jasper informed her, grabbing a strand of her hair to tug it before leading the way to the rock he'd been talking about. It was the perfect spot to watch the meteor shower, the little fae boy sitting on Emberly's shoulder as they watched the shooting stars. "You should make a wish. All wishes come true from wishing stars." He pointed out. The vision faded and another one began, although this one was just one of Jasper's memories. His parents had been furious when they'd found out about Emberly, and had locked him in his room. He'd been there for hours now, but could hear his parent's hushed voices outside in the hall. "He's a boy, he can't have bonded already. He's too young." His father said, clearly trying to calm his mother's anger. "I know what I saw. He's bonded to that human girl. We can't have that, he's going to be king one day, he can't marry a human. We have to do something about it." The Queen hissed. "You know that bonds can't be broken, it's ancient magic that-" "I know all that. But we can make him forget, hide the mark. He'll never know." The Queen said before opening the door, carrying a little vial in her hands. "Jasper, you have to drink this."

Leo leaned back into the tub as the water filled up the tub. He kissed her head. "Me too." he said and stroked her skin. He reached forward and shut off the water grabbing a cloth and putting soap on it starting to clean up her body. He smiled at her and caressed her slowly washing every inch of her. He couldn't wait to be married to her. Maybe they should do a private wedding then one for the people later that way he could have her sooner? He wanted it but wasn't sure if he could swing it or not. It was something to look into for sure.

The vision faded as it jumped around showing different moments of Jasper and Emberly's few stolen days together or night spent just talking a love that children could only understand then one bright memory appeared. Emberly sat with Jasper behind a waterfall. They where both wet having been swimming. Emberly's hair stuck to her face as she looked at Jasper on her knee. "Jasper..." she bit her tiny lip. Meredith curled into his arms as he washed her, sitting forward after a while so he could clean her back and her wings. Once she'd been cleaned she turned to face him, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips before taking the cloth from him to begin washing him too, wanting to return the favor. Once they'd both been cleaned she curled back into his arms, happy to just relax in the water for a while, not really wanting to do much of anything today.

The little fae boy looked up at Emberly as he pushed his hair from his face, wings fluttering as he tried to dry them off. He smiled widely at her question, nodding. "Of course I'll always be your friend, Emberly. I love you too." He flew rested his little hand on hers as he smiled up at her, heart filling with emotions he didn't quite understand, but knew were good. When he felt the bond offered to him he blinked, not really understanding what was happening, although he knew it felt right, so he happily accepted it, feeling a bit overwhelmed by emotions afterward, but he just kept smiling up at Emberly, his friend. The vision faded away shortly after that, the effects of the potion Artemis gave them wearing off. Jasper sat up with a little groan, blinking the stars out of his eyes as his vision returned, before he rolled onto his side to hover over Emberly, nervously wrapping an arm around her waist. He was furious with his parents for making him forget all of their adventures, that they were bonded. "Emberly..? Emberly, do you still hate me..?" He asked softly as she began to come out of the visions too, looking at her sadly as he gave a strand of her hair a little tug like he used to do. "I.. I'm so sorry for everything, and if you hate me I'll leave you alone forever, I promise.. But I meant it when I said I'd always be your friend, and that I love you."

Jasper hummed as she washed him too. He closed his eyes relaxing as she did. He kissed her cheek as she reached around him to clean his back and wings. Jasper held her as she relaxed and he went back to closing his eyes and holding her. "We're going to get pruney." he said and leaned his head against hers. "I know you really want to rest but we will have so much time to do that when we are at the vacation palace." he said and trailed his fingers over her arms grinning as her skin prickled with goosebumps at his touch. "We should get ready to go. I want to leave as soon as possible. The last thing we need is something popping up and we are stuck here for another week. I just have a feeling." he said and squeezed her gently. "I can have the seamstress have your things ready by tonight and we can get out of here travel by starlight and get there tonight." he said looking down at her. "What do you say?" he asked her hopeful.

Emberly slipped back into her body feeling Jaspers arms around her. She was staring up at the ceiling. She had been the one to offer the bond. Jasper hadn't understood but he had known more than she had. She bit her lip. As Jasper asked if she still hated him she frowned and her eyes finally flickered over to Jasper. "I never really hated you Jasper, I couldn't... I was just upset." she said and looked down. He pulled at hair and she smiled loving that. It made her heartache and the tears i her eyes welled over rolling down her cheeks. "Shut up." she said her voice shaky with emotions and she pulled his lips to hers. She kissed him tenderly. This was huge but it didn't fix all of her trama. Emberly sighed as the kiss ended and she sat up. "Careful." Artemis said and Emberly looked over at her. "I don't think that word is in my vocabulary." She said and Artemis chuckled and walked over to them. She helped Emberly stand and made her sit on the stool. Emberly looked down to where Jasper sat on the floor her expression complex and her eyes far away like she was still lost in her visions. Artemis handed Jasper then Emberly another vial. "Drink that it will help you feel better... more grounded." she said and looked between them. "So?" she asked and Emberly looked out the window. "We were children and the queen covered it up." she said realizing they were probably both the youngest to have bonded and the longest that a bond couple have been apart. She looked over at Jasper wondering if they were crazy because of it? Emberly finished the liquid in the vial and set it down as Artemis was talking about eating and possible adverse reactions. She stood her wings fluttering to help her stay steady. This would all explain why she felt like she had been to the castle before like it was a life of hers that was long ago because it was Jasper's life and they were bonded. Emberly needed to walk, or fly... but she couldn't fly yet. She sighed her wings fluttering frustratedly at that fact. Artemis came over and gently pressed her back into the seat. "Let me see your bond mark Emberly." she said and Emberly looked up at her then pulled her hair over her shoulder and pointed to between her wings. Artemis gently pulled the cloth back and Emberly let her wings relax down so this was easier. Artemis looked over at Jasper. "What is the significance of the roses?" she said and Emberly looked over at Jasper a small smile on her lips before she looked back. "I think it's when the bond started to spark again." She said and Artemis nodded. "So roses huh?" she said still confused and Emberly covered her hands the ash rose forming in her hands and she looked over at Jasper. "It was a moment for us." she said and the ash slowly floated away and she smiled thinking about the brief glance at his mark and how the flower was disintegrating like her flower. Emberly hoped that Jasper wasn't going to go to fast now but would understand why she was so hesitant. She stood as Artemis let her dress go. "I'm going to take a walk." she said moving towards the door hesitating with her hand on the handle and looked back at Jasper. "You did promise to show me the gardens."

Meredith nodded a little as he suggested they get packed up to leave, pressing a kiss to his lips. "Alright.. I'll pack my things and give you the list for the seamstresses, and while you're doing that I can go get a few extra books from the library." She decided, slipping out of the tub to dry off, fluttering her wings a bit to help them dry before she dressed in a simple outfit for traveling, tugging on a pretty coat that she found in the back of the wardrobe, braiding her hair neatly out of the way.

Jasper felt relieved when she kissed him, tugging her a bit closer as he returned her kiss before releasing her so she could sit up, doing his best to support her even though he felt dizzy as well. He took the vial from Artemis and drank it's contents, taking a moment to steady himself before he stood. He smiled a little as he watched Emberly create the ash rose, making one made of ice for her before tucking into her hair. "My Infinitum.." he murmured softly before watching her get up and move toward the door. He nodded when she asked him to bring her to the gardens, looking at Artemis. "Thank you for your help.. If we need anything else we'll come back." He said before leading Emberly out of the room, linking his arm with hers as they walked.

Leo nodded grateful she agreed. He stood letting himself drip off as she dried off before grabbing his own and drying himself. He dressed and then leaned against the bed as she grabbed the quill and paper. He rubbed her braid between is fingrs as he leaned over. "I am very excited to show you our other palace." He said and looked up at her. He relaxed as she wrote out her list. "Reanna will be glad to see you." he said thinking about if there was anything else he needed to do to prepare for their departure and the last thing was to talk to his brother.

Emberly smiled softly as she touched the little ice rose in her hair and thanked Artemis as well before they headed out. Jasper had her arm and she slipped her hand onto his arm her other laying over his arm as well as they walked. It was such a twist that she had offered the bond to him. She had no idea how to take it and she couldn't really be mad at him for taking it even though he had understood it more than her, he was a child and knew less of it than they did now. He had learned of it more at puberty he had told her, the only reference he had was the stories of bonded couples in his legends. She sighed as they stepped outside and she relaxed as the sun shined over her wings. She seemed to beam in the sunlight like the light made her glow and the longer she was a fairy the more it seemed to be true. Emberly walked silently with Jasper into the maze in the garden to look at the different flowers hiding in the maze. When they were alone she looked over at him. "I know this is a lot. We have shared memories we haven't spoke about before and I am sure you have questions for me but we first need to address something." She looked down and slowed her walk. "I still need to go slow Jasper." Emberly turned towards him. "I love you and the bond wants me to move much faster... but-" She sighed and reached up touching her collarbone. "I'm scared Jasper." she said and looked back at him her eyes shining.

Meredith leaned into him as he leaned closer to her, smiling a little as he played with her braid while she carefully wrote out her list. Her handwriting was a little shaky from lack of practice, but it was still mostly legible. Once she was finished she turned to him, pressing a kiss to his cheek as she handed him the list, fingers smoothing over his shirt. "It'll be nice to be somewhere with just the two of us... Are you sure it's alright to go so soon?" She asked, worried that they'd get in trouble for leaving the palace. His parents already didn't like her and she didn't want to do anything else to upset them.

Jasper kept her close as they walked through the garden, feeling more at ease with her in his arms. He looked down at her as she spoke, eyes soft as he nodded a bit in understanding. "I love you too, Emberly.. I think that because we've been apart so long the bond is trying to make up for it by forcing us together, when we need to get to know each other a bit and go slower... I promise I'll try to go slower, but at some point the bond will pull us together, like it did last night." He explained, brushing his fingers through her hair, creating a whole crown of ice flowers to set on her head. He frowned when she admitted she was scared, hesitating before wrapping his arms around her and hugging her close, shaking his head a little. "You have nothing to be scared of, Emberly. I'm here for you, always."

Leo smiled as he tucked the list safely in his pocket. He leaned in and kissed her cheek back. "Yes Meredith I am sure. We need this. We're newly bonded and it's understandable we need some time, not to mention you're still adjusting here." he said and then stood. He kissed her forehead. "I'm going to go take this and then say goodbye to my brother. I'll be back in a bit with lunch and to pack with you okay?" he asked her, his hands sliding up her arms as he looked down at her. He had a mental list ticking off in his head the things that needed to get done but as he looked in her eyes they quieted and he knew that he was going to be so happy to have her all to himself.

Emberly nodded at his assumption for why they were so needy of each other sometimes. "Well if it happens it happens... but we should probably talk about moving up the proposal at least so there won't be talk..." she said. The last thing she needed was the servants gossiping about them. She smiled feeling the ice roses. She hoped he realized those wouldn't last long with her natural heat. She bit her lip as he told her that he was there for her and she nodded. "I know you are Jasper but..." Emberly leaned into him and laid her head on his shoulder. "You know what my childhood was like now." she said talking about the ridicule from the townspeople, the ostercation from the towns children and the things her mother put her through. She looked down realizing her mother had been losing it long before Jasper brought Emberly here. Emberly looked up at him. "I sometimes think this is all a dream or a delusion, like any moment I will wake up or wonder back into my mothers hut and she will be so angry with me." she shuttered and then took his arm again moving back down the maze.
