Whenever Bailey snapped at him, it was infuriating. It made Justin want to just lash out. Smack that damn mouth of hers shut, show her who was really in control of this situation. That she better watch that pretty little mouth of hers if she wanted to know what was good for her. That she needed to respect him. He was the only thing that was separating Bailey from being a prostitute out on the street right now, death or who knows what. She should be on her knees thanking him, begging for his attention to keep coming towards her. To protect her, to keep her out of harm's way.

Damn. Justin didn't say anything. His face was void of emotion as he moved towards Bailey. Without warning, he wrapped his arms around her. Keeping her arms pressed to her sides as he leaned down slightly so that his mouth was by her ear. "Listen to me very carefully, kid." Justin started, his warm breath tickling her ear. "You have no idea what you have gotten yourself into." He started, then paused as he tried to figure out what he wanted to tell her.

"Sometimes protecting one thing, means having to aline with something else. Something that will tear one's heart and soul apart." Justin paused once more for effect. "If you want to live, you need to be smart, not act like a damn child that's grown up with everything handed to them on a silver platter." Justin didn't know Bailey well enough to know about her upbringing, but he sure as fuck knew about his own. "You are in constant danger now, Bailey. An I can only protect you from so much without sticking my neck out and waiting for a bullet to sever my artery."

Tightening his hold, Justin slid one of his arms up to her body. Tracing his fingers over her stomach, between the crevis of her breasts before resting on her throat. Justin leaned down further so that his head was right next to her ear. This way, she could get a glimpse of his side profile as he gave a light squeeze to her neck. "Call this kidnapping, call this stalking, or whatever. But remember this, you owe me. I've saved your life, I can send you right back there and have you shoving crack up your ass to smuggle into the airports or across borders for a couple of months. Then, when a tiny hole appears accidentally in one of the bags. I won't be there while you overdose all of the sudden and just fall over. Only be cut open like a deer and raided to get the rest of the merchandise out of your body before setting you on fire."

Releasing his hold on Bailey, Justin gave her a small shove away from him. "Grab your shit. We need to get you to your place to collect your ship before you have to work." He told her, not leaving his spot until he saw that she was doing as he had told her.

Bailey was quickly collecting her things from the apartment, having decided that she needed to leave. Surely, she could keep herself alive without Justin's help. He was only useful if she wanted to stay in the city right? Well, fuck the city. All she needed was a quick stop at the bank and she would leave town before the gang could even blink an eye. Justin was clearly too deep into the gang to help and besides, he was acting like an asshole. But she doubted that he wouldn't let her leave if she wanted it. He wasn't that bad.

As she was grabbing her purse, Bailey suddenly felt arms wrapping around her from behind. "Justin, Stop!" She tried to throw him off, to push Justin away but he was too large, too strong and holding her arms down way too tightly for any of it to be effective. Goosebumps started to run down her skin as Justin's breath fell against her skin. And all she could do was listen to the sickening words leave his perfect lips.

It felt as though a slimy, toxic hand had pushed itself into her chest and squeezing onto her heart. She wanted to turn and punch Justin square in the jaw but she was fearful that he was also speaking the truth. As his fingers started running up along her, Bailey squirmed uncomfortably but she had lost her voice even when Justin's hand was around her throat. Was Justin her only chance of survival? He had saved her last night but how he was talking and acting this morning only was scaring her. Bailey felt lost, unsure if he just mad and trying to get her to really listen to his warning or if Justin was just trying to scare her into submitting to him until the gang made their decision.

Once Justin shoved her away, Bailey had to grab onto the coffee table to stop herself from falling onto her knees. One hand held her purse to her chest and the moved against her mouth, feeling sick at the image he described. She knew that could be her and she was afraid that would happen to her brother now that he was a drug mule. Though once he commanded her to collect her things, Bailey did so, not wanting to see what Justin would do if she didn't. But she found it impossible to even look or turn in his direction.

Once Bailey was listening to him, Justin gave a small nod of his head and went to grab his things as well. His phone, wallet, and his gun were all strapped to him or in his pocket. Making him feel normal with the familiar weight. The cool metal of his favorite gun in his waistband. His wallet and phone in his pockets and making his jeans feel like they weren't too lose anymore. He was set.

Moving towards the door, Justin paused and glanced towards the side as he opened the door. "Bailey." Was all Justin said as he motioned for her to walk in front of him and out the door. He wasn't going to change her sneaking away behind him. He wanted her in his sights. Where he could easily reach out and grab onto her. Once Bailey was out of his apartment, Justin closed and locked the door before grabbing onto Bailey's hand and pulling her towards the elevator. They looked like a normal couple, one where the girls were probably upset about not getting something, but a normal couple none the less.

Taking Bailey towards his car, Justin glanced as her as he let her in the front passenger seat. "Do you want me to help you pack?" He asked, not sure if she'd want his help with packing now that she knew how cold he could be. How calculating he could be. How much of a gangster he really was.

Once they were at Bailey's apartment, Justin followed behind Bailey. Allowing her to take the lead in things. He stepped on her toes enough this morning. He really didn't feel like snapping at her again or having his head ripped off. Women were scarier then any of his men could ever be.

At hearing her name and seeing Justin motion for her to move, Bailey did so. She didn't want to anger him any more than she already had. Though once she was out of the apartment, Justin reached out to grab her hand, she tried to dodge it at first but when Justin seemed determined about it, she let him take it. Though she didn't hold his hand back, instead, having her fingers loose.

Once in the car, Bailey was clutching onto her bag, looking out of the window. She watched people go by, wishing that was her. Wishing that she was just about anyone else or that she could just be having a normal day. Hell, she would take a kinda crappy day over this. When Justin asked if she wanted his assistance with packing, Bailey just shook her head. She didn't want to talk to him and she also didn't want Justin touching her things.

It wasn't long until they were walking into her apartment. She took a moment to glance around, feeling weird about being brought to her own home like this. Though her eyes then landed on the large bear, Bailey's face contorted, looking like she was about to break into tears. With a quick turn, Bailey headed into her room, only leaving the door open a crack, thinking she couldn't get away with shutting it all the way but also not wanting Justin's eyes on her. It took some time before Bailey came back out. She had tried to pack light but Bailey didn't know when she would be allowed back... plus if Justin wanted her to pretend to be living a normal life there were certain things she needed, like her computers and schoolwork and etc.

Bailey even took the time to get changed for work and school, not wanting to hear him complain about it if she didn't. Even so, it would clear to others that something was off. Her whole demeanor, for one, was not right. And only managed to pull together something that would pass her through work and class, which wasn't like Bailey but it was all she was able to muster up. She started to collect her things together so they could leave.

Stepping into Bailey's apartment was like a time portal. Sure, he had only been in the place once and that was barely twenty-four hours ago. Yet, it felt like an eternity. The colors on the wall, the room spray that she used. Even the damn bear that was still on the freaking floor. It all seemed to warm, so welcoming. Not in the least like how his apartment was. Sure, it was his home. Yet, it lacked any sort of really feel to it. It was cool, a little distant. Like he wouldn't care if he left it all behind.

Shoving his hands into his pockets, Justin slowly walked around the smaller apartment. Taking everything in. Getting a feel for who Bailey was. Or rather, it used to be. Used to be before this whole mess of drugs, and deals went down. Before her life was in danger because of her idiotic brother.

Walking into Bailey's living room area, Justin stopped in the middle and looked around. Taking in the placement of the couch, her TV, and that one framed photo in the corner of the room. Justin's eyes narrowed a little bit as he walked over to it. He picked up the framed photo and took it in the people in it. It looked slightly old, but he could see Bailey in it. She looked like she was in her mid-teens or something, maybe older teens, although she was probably just getting out of her teen years now. He never really asked her how old she was. Certainly not as old as him, as he was twenty-eight about to turn twenty-nine.

Hearing Bailey's bedroom door opening, Justin raised his head and looked in her direction. Watching as she brought out a couple of bags. Being the gentleman that he is, Justin walked over and grabbed the two heaviest bags for her. "Let's get you to work." Was all Justin said as he motioned for Bailey to head out first, ignoring how upset she looked. Even though this was all scary, his words still stood. Bailey needed to know that Justin was doing what was right for both her and his gang. He wasn't in the position to play favorites right now.

Bringing Bailey's stuff out o his car, Justin put everything into the back for her. Then, he made sure she got in as well before driving her to work. The drive, though awkward and quiet, wasn't terrible. He's been in more awkward situations before. Pulling into a spot and parking across the street, Justin got out and went around to open her door for her. "Remember, Bailey, I'll be watching." He told her, closing the door once she was out of his car. He wasn't going to go into her workplace, no, he was going to hack into the security cameras on his phone while he chilled in the car. Out of sight, out of mind.

Bailey's head dropped a bit as Justin mentioned that he would keep his eyes on her. It was an uncomfortable thought but she didn't argue with him about it. Instead, just sliding out of the car and heading into the flower shop. Once she was inside, she was asked a few questions from her boss about how she was doing, since it was quite obvious that the answer was not well. Though Bailey was able to navigate it, mentioning that she was just having some school trouble, specific with a large project and her partners weren't doing their part. Her boss seemed to buy it with ease and left Bailey to go to the back and put together some orders.

At first, things seemed to be going rather normally. Bailey stayed in the back working on orders. She tried to keep her mind busy with work, not allowing herself to get lost in her thoughts. And, at first, it worked perfectly as she was given plenty to do and think about when making the floral arrangements. Though, after a few hours, her boss came into the back and asked Bailey to watch the shop as the delivery driver had gotten into a small accident. Bailey agreed and moved to the front of the shop as the owner left.

There, Bailey could feel her mind beginning to wander about the last 24 hours. The front of the shop needed little maintenance as she was just waiting for customers. And she couldn't help but think through everything when she had nothing to do. How she was pulled out of bed so late at night, threatened, her brother became a drug mule, saved by Justin and then threatened again this morning but by him. His words were getting stuck into her head and she couldn't stop imagining the scenario he laid out. Her brother was already being forced to smuggle drugs and she feared that would be her fate as well. Strange people forcing them to shove drugs in and out of their ass...

Bailey took her head a bit and moved out from behind the counter, deciding to give herself busy work. She moved to the vases shelves and started to reorganize it with no real meaning or purpose. Though moving them didn't stop the thoughts from coming. The fear that both of them would feel going back and forth over the boarder. The possibility that they would both die, alone. Bailey started to move a bit faster, the anxiousness and fear boiling up. But wasn't calming her down. Taking a step back from the shelf, Bailey held onto a light blue vase in her hands, clutching onto it for dear life.

Her head turned, seeing herself in the mirror of the shop. Seeing the panicked look on her own face. She was quick to avert her gaze. The intrusive thoughts kept coming. When they died, to be cut open like some animal. Ripped apartment to find the smallest bit of drugs. Bailey clutched onto it tighter, her eyes tearing up. No one would know what happened to either of them. Ripped open and burned like they were nothing. Their parents, their family and friends always wondering what happened to them. If they were even alive.

Suddenly the vase shattered in Bailey's hand. She let out a cry as one of the shards cut deep into her palm before everything fell onto the ground. Her head dropped to look down at her hand, seeing the gasp, seeing the blood running down her palm and her fingers. Bailey started to burst into tears, her body beginning to shake. Dead dropping onto her knees, Bailey started to almost recklessly pick up the pieces of the vase, frantically muttering 'no' under her cries and whimpers. It almost seemed like she was trying to piece the vase back together.

Why was this kid always on his mind. She was so annoying, with her chipper personality, her nosiness. Always wanting to know what he was up to, what he did that day. Bailey was just a thorn in Justin's side. Yet, as he sat in his car, reclining in the driver's seat as he watched her from the camera above. His heart ached. As if he was shocked with a defibrillator or had the air pushed out of his lungs. She looked like she was just being tortured. Which, she hadn't been. He had just told her some cold truths, so, why was she so freaked out? It didn't make any sense to Justin. You do something wrong, you pay the price. It's the way of the world. It's how people who aren't in the underground work as well. With their police, and jail sentences and things.

As soon as the vase in Bailey's hands broke, Justin bolted up in his seat. His lips pursed into a thin line as he watched. "You stupid girl." Justin murmured as he watched her look to her hands, noticing the blood that was trickling down. He couldn't help the scowl as he tossed his phone onto the center console and hopped out of the car. Slamming the door as he made his way towards Bailey's work. The damn girl needed someone to wrap the cut for her, she was to damn clumsy to do it herself.

As Justin walked into the flower shop, he froze. His eyes going straight to Bailey on the floor. Shaking like a leaf, acting as if she was trying to pick up the pieces of the broken vase. It was like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water on him. Every thought, nerve ending, and bone turned to ice. Justin was paralyzed to the spot. Broke, Bailey looked just as broke as that vase.

A couple of moments pass before Justin moved towards Bailey. Not saying a single thing to her. His lips were still set into a deep frown, but he wasn't here to yell at her. No, his mind was on something else. Kneeling behind Bailey, Justin lightly grasped onto Bailey's wrists. "Let go on the glass." He told her, tightening his hold slightly if she'd give him some trouble. Then, he'd pull her arms to her body as he pulled her to his chest. Helping her stand as he did so.

Then, Justin leaned forward and rested his forehead against her shoulder. "I'm sorry." His words were quiet, barely a whisper. "I'm so sorry." Justin pulled back slightly and moved his hands to Bailey's sides, turning her to face him. Then, he brought her back to his chest so that she could cry, hit or scream at him all that she wanted. Allowing her to get everything that's been bottled up inside of her out.

A gasp left Bailey as she suddenly felt hands wrap around her wrists. Her head shot up, meeting Justin's glaze with her large, terrified eyes. Having been lost in her own void of panic, Bailey didn't even notice what had been happening around her. But quickly, Bailey's head dropped and the chunky tears running down her face started to land on the glass and their hands. She shook her head as he asked her to let go of the glass, holding onto it tighter and allowing some of the shards to press through her skin. But as he tightened his grip on her wrist, Bailey opened her hands and allowed the glass to fall back onto the ground, letting out a whimper as she did so.

Feeling Justin start to move her around, Bailey didn't make a fuss. She was still shaking like a leaf, feeling frantic and lost. And suddenly she found herself on her feet. Lifting her hands up slightly, Bailey glanced down at the blood that was dripping from her hands. She had a couple of cuts on her hands now but the largest one by far was the first gash on her palm. Her hands were bleeding quite a bit.

Her head lifted back up as Justin started to whisper to her. She felt so out of it, only realizing now how close they were. How his head was pressed against her shoulder. Bailey felt him turn her body to him, wanting to pull her into his chest but her muscles tensed up. The anger that had been stifled down was like a rocket in her chest. Tears were still running down her face like waterfalls and the deep fear still had a tight hold on her heart but Bailey could feel herself on the edge of an explosion.

"You're not sorry," Bailey's voice was just above a whisper but her words were sharp. "You are not fucking sorry!" Bailey screamed out before shoving Justin away from her before she took a step back, wanting to create more distance between them. "Stop," Bailey snapped as she held a hand out, wanting Justin to stay where he was. "Don't come near me. Don't fucking touch me. I hate how you touch me now. I-I" Bailey took another step back, her body tense and her hands ready to slap Justin if he came too close.

"I know what you're doing. I can see what you're doing!" Bailey brought her hands up to her face, not minding the blood as she tried to wipe some of her tears and get herself to calm down but it wasn't fixing anything. "God, I am so fucking stupid. I thought we were friends. I thought you actually gave a shit about me. But you don't. How long have you been playing with me anyways? Manipulating me this way and that. But now my dumb fucking brother got in trouble with your precious fucking gang you're just waiting for the orders as to what to do with me, aren't you?"

"You're just trying to keep me quiet until I get a fucking bag of drugs up my ass. But what does it matter to you? I was just some dumb naive girl who you played until it was time to say goodbye. Until I get thrown onto plane after plane AFTER PLANE until until until until until," Bailey reached up, putting her hands in her hair, tugging on it as she tried to get the rest of the words out. Though her chest was rising and falling hard, the panic was beginning to take over the reins again. "Until I die," Bailey managed to croak out. "And is it going to be you? Are you going to be the one who cuts me apart like some animal, rip me open and then dispose of my body so no one can find me. So not even my family knows if I am dead or alive. So they never know what happens to me." Bailey was shaking hard, finding it difficult to be able to stay on her feet. "That's the fucking fate you gave my brother and the one you're so ready to threaten me with! This whole time you've just been lying and manipulating me! I don't mean shit to you so stop fucking pretending! If you're going to kill me JUST FUCKING DO IT! Can't you at least give me a quick death? At least let my family know."

When Bailey pulled out of his grip, Justin let her. Not wanting to argue with her over something that was tearing her apart from the inside out. She needed to get this shit off of her chest, it was only normal. Any person in her scenario would probably do the same shit. Hell, Justin was sure he probably did the exact same shit when he first joined the gang.

As Bailey pushed him away, smearing her blood on his, Just allowed it. His arms fell to his sides and his head tilted slightly. His expression becoming unreadable. His eyes blank, void of any and all emotion as he listened. Took the verbal beating from Bailey that he probably deserved, but was only going to take so much of. Letting her anger show it's ugly head and tell the world how fed up she was with everything. He allowed it, he allowed it all.

"Is that what you think of me? Bailey?" Justin asked casually as if they were just having a cup of coffee that they had both gotten stuck in during that storm. "A dark sadistic prick without a mind of his own?" Justin allowed a small snort to escape from him as the right corner of his lips turned up into a smirk. "You think I saved that pathetic little life of yours for no reason?" Slowly, Justin moved towards Bailey, following her as she moved back until she was against the wall. His hands reached out, swatting her hands away as she tried to slap him until he had enough and just grabbed onto her weak little arms. His eyes narrowing as he looked at her. "You made the damn choice to help your bother, Bailey. He's the one who got you into this shit, not me." Justin spoke through clenched teeth. His grip on her wrists tightening until he probably left bruises. "If it wasn't for me, you'd probably already have shit being shoved up your ass. Rather's the gang's drugs or a dick that got off causing you pain." Justin snorted as he finished speaking.

Moving closer to Bailey, he didn't stop moving towards her till he was about a step away from her. Leaning down, Justin got into Bailey's face. "Listen to me kid. You owe me your fucking life." He paused to allow Bailey to soak up his words. "I could have just allowed the boss to make you his whore, the gang's prostitute, or whatever the fuck else the boss could want from you, but I stepped in." Justin moved so that he could hold both of her wrists in the same hand. His free hand moving to the base of her neck. Asserting enough pressure so that she knew that he was more then capable of choking her if he pleased.

"I told the boss that I'd take you. I told the boss that you wouldn't cause any trouble. You're mine, Bailey. Do you hear me? You. Are. Mine." Justin scowled, clenching his teeth together as he applied a small bit of pressure to Bailey's neck. "Sometimes, you need to cut family out of your life, Kid. Some people aren't worth keeping around. No matter how much you hope that they turn their life around, they'll keep going back to the thing that fucks them up."

Slowly, Justin moved closer to Bailey. Only stopping once they were chest to chest. His eyes looking directly into hers as he took in Bailey's expressions. Allowing for everything to sink in. "I can end your life at any second if I wanted to, I can end it now, next week. Hell I can while you're asleep, but it'll be my choice. Not the gang's, and not yours. I own you now Bailey, and you will pay me back for saving you in any way that I see fit." Justin took one step back, willing to backhand her with enough force to shut her up if she decided to talk back to him. "Now, what do you say Bailey? Are you going to curse at me? Curse my gang and wish for death? Or, are you going to obey me and listen to common fucking sense." He tightened his grip on her neck and then slowly let it go so that she could breathe. "Choose wisely Bailey, because there's only so much I can fucking do for you."

Bailey's eyes lifted up to meet Justin as he started to talk again. It was difficult to hear him at first, unable to soak much in with how hard her head and heart were pounding. She swore she could hear her blood rushing around in her head, muffling up Justin's words. She could hear that he was speaking but she couldn't quite hear what he was saying.

Though as he started to move towards her, it seemed that all of the blood in her body stopped moving at all. It was a shock to her body from barely being able to notice and comprehend what was going on around her to being hyper-aware. Justin's words seemed like screams to her. Every step he took caused the hand around her heart to tighten even more. When her back suddenly hit the wall, Bailey jumped a little. Not wanting to be cornered, to be stuck, Bailey tried to lash out. To slap Justin but he swatted her hands away and eventually grabbed onto her wrist. A whimper left her as his grip tightened, hurting her.

Pure fear was now settling in her eyes as he moved even closer to her, getting his face into hers. Big, chunky tears were still rolling from her eyes and down her cheeks. Her body shaking even more now. His words were coming in clear and Bailey was unsure what to do. She felt beaten down and lost. Bailey was horrified of what the gang would have done to her if she was there but she wasn't sure if she should feel any better about Justin having control of her. Was one fate worse than the other or would they both be nothing but misery?

She had no time to wrap her head around that thought before Justin was wrapping his free hand around her neck. Another panicked whimper leaving her as he started to apply pressure. She felt so paralyzed and helpless, unable to even find the words to beg Justin not to strangle her. And as he spoke about having the ability to end her life at any moment, Bailey felt sure that this was it. Her eyes were still stuck on his until Justin started to tighten his grip. A pained breathless noise left her as she closed her eyes tightly. Unable to breathe, unable to find it in her to fight back. She didn't want to die. She didn't want this but she could feel the strength seeping from her body and it wasn't from being choked.

When his grip released, Bailey didn't gasp out for air in desperation. She started to breathe again but it wasn't panicked like one would expect. Her body started to go limp. Her wrists in his hands, her arms and hands all went limp. Slowly, she started to slide down the wall as much as Justin would allow her to. Her head fell forward, her chin dropping down against her chest. And the only indication that Bailey offered that she heard what he had said was a small nod. Justin was acting like she had a choice but even with the state Bailey was in, she knew that wasn't the case. Justin would do what he wanted and she just didn't have the energy to try to move the immovable force that was Justin.

Let go, Justin had just let Bailey go. Allowing her to slide down the wall of the flower shop. Into a sat depressed-looking bag of nothingness. It was pathetic, how easily Bailey gave up. This was nothing compared to what Justin had lived through, she didn't understand what it was fucking like to always be looking over one's shoulder. To wonder when it was going to be their turn, too go days without food or water because their parents forgot to pay the bills on time. Only surviving on what could be stolen or given.

Dark eyes bore nothing as Justin stood in front of Bailey. Debating on rather he should just leave her to deal with everything on her own, or if he should lean down and help her. After all, she was still bleeding from those fucking cuts on her hands.
A scowl was quick to appear on Justin's face as he remembered the cuts. How could Bailey be so fucking stupid to do that to herself? Even if she was in the middle of a fucking breakdown, even fucking children how not to pick up sharp objects with their bare hands once they feel the first sharp sting.

After watching Bailey for a couple of minutes, Justin scowled before he took a step closer to Bailey. Leaning down, he easily wrapped an arm around her waist and one under her legs. Picking her up bridal style, Justin carried Bailey towards the bathroom where he remembered getting the first ait kit that he used last time he had to patch her up. "You're a pain in the ass," Justin mumbled as he set Bailey down on the counter, and then proceeded to grab all of the cleaning supplies that he'd need to clean her wounds.

"Now I swear to god, if you try to slip off of this fucking counter, or fight me as I try to help you. I will not be so nice when we get back to my place." Justin informed Bailey as he put some of the peroxides onto a cotton ball before he got to work on cleaning her scratches. Keeping his gaze on her arms instead of her face. "God, you get so worked up over something so minor. You're not even in fucking danger and you go and imagine all these this. Fuck." Justin mumbles, throwing away the bloodied cotton ball and grabbing a new one. "Did you ever stop to wonder what could be going through my head? Why I do these things?" That part wasn't supposed to be spoken, but it was, quietly, as if Justin didn't even realize that he had done so.

As Justin came towards her, Bailey tensed up and tried to make herself smaller. She couldn't find it in herself to fight back but Bailey still didn't want to get hurt. There was fear there that he would hit her or try to choke her out again. Bailey turned away slightly as his arms started to wrap around her. Though she relaxed slightly as she realized that he was just carrying her into the bathroom. She let out a small pained breath as she closed her eyes. Bailey didn't care that he called her a pain in the ass. That was such a minor thing considering everything else.

Once Justin started to set her down on the counter, Bailey reopened her eyes but she kept her head down, not meeting his glaze. She knew that he was still upset and she worried that she could set him off. So when he told her not to slip off the counter or fight him, Bailey just shook her head in response. Bailey wasn't going to try and fight Justin head-on. That was foolish. That was basically begging Justin to kill her. Bailey wasn't sure what she would do, if she would try to escape anytime soon. But there was certainly no plan to actually fight Justin.

When the peroxides were pressed down into her hands, Bailey let out a pained whimper. Her hands jumped for a moment but she quickly stilled them again so that he could get working on the cuts. Though when Justin had his attention on the largest gash, Bailey couldn't stop her hand from shaking. It fucking hurt a lot and having Justin touching it at all made Bailey want to pull her hand away from him. She wasn't even sure he would know how to stop that cut from bleeding.

"Imagining things?" Bailey whispered in response, her voice cracking once as she spoke. "That is what you told me this morning. I didn't imagine it, that is what you said. Y-you told me that. You were acting like you were going to send me back there. You were threatening me how is that not being in danger?" Bailey felt her chest tightening up as she spoke, afraid Justin would react poorly but she didn't like that he was lying straight to her face. Especially about something they both already knew was a lie. "And I don't know what is running through your head, Justin. Before all of this you rarely told me what you were thinking. How am I suppose to know what your plan is or why you're even doing this. Yesterday you were acting like my friend, like you wanted to help me and today you've been treating me like some prisoner you're going to off soon."

Bailey lifted her head up slowly looking at Justin. There were a lot of emotions moving over her face and there was no doubt that she was just lost. "Why are you doing this? What is going through your head, Justin?"

Stopping what he was doing, Justin clenched his hand into a fist. forgetting all about the fucking cotton ball that he was using to clean Bailey's wounds. His lips pursed together, his eyes clenched shut as he did his best to fight back his annoyance at Bailey. At the gang, at the fucking world. This wasn't supposed to have happaned. Bailey was innocent in this fucking thing. She shouldn't be in this fucking mess. She should be free to do whatever the fuck she wanted.

"Fuck." Justin murmured as he slowly raised his head and looked into Bailey's eyes. His narrowing as he stared into Bailey's eyes. His right hand that was holding the cotton ball released the small ball of fluff and instead raised to gently encase Bailey's throat once more. He didn't squeeze her throat or anything, just held her soft flesh in his hand. His eyes staring into hers as he watched the emotions flashing through her eyes.

"You need to learn to play the game, Bailey," Justin spoke softly, almost to quietly for her ears to pick up. His eyes raised slightly and looked towards the right corner of the bathroom. Right to where a little cellphone charging cube thing was plugged in. "You never know who could be watching, listening to every little thing that goes on around you." Justin's face moved towards Bailey's as he spoke, making it almost impossible for any sort of camera that was hidden in the room to pick up his voice.

"You need to play along Bailey, you need to give in and act like you're accepting your position." His grip on Bailey's neck tightened for an extremely brief moment to let her know that he was being serious. Then, he immediately released her. "We'll talk more when we get back to my place. I can't talk to you hear." Justin leaned forward and turned his head as if he was about to kiss Bailey's soft lips. "They're watching, they're always watching us. Watching me." Justin murmured against her soft lips. Then, he brushed them against her lips in an extremely brief kiss before pulling away and resting his forehead against Bailey's as he released her neck. Instead of moving to place his hands on the counter on either side of her thighs.

"Agree, Bailey. Say yes sir, and pretend to lean in to kiss me. After that, you will let me finish cleaning your wounds and finish your shift. Got it?"

Bailey's anxiousness immediately spiked as Justin grabbed onto her neck again. Her body tensed up and she grabbed onto her pants tightly. While Justin had not choked her tightly yet, she was still fearful of it. There was a possibility that she would push him too far at some point. Now she worried that she would cause Justin to snap and he would end up actually strangling her. She shouldn't have said anything, should have kept her mouth shut.

Though when Justin started to speak, only confusion moved over her face. His words weren't making any sense to her, not really. Her eyes glanced over at the cellphone charging cube for a moment before shifting back to him. She understood what he was saying. Justin was worried that someone was watching. But why would they care? Why would they care about her? Why would they care about how Justin was 'Playing the Game'. Whatever the fuck that meant, she didn't sign up to play.

But as he tightened his fingers around her neck again, any of her thoughts dropped and her full attention was back on Justin. She let out a whimper before he allowed her to breathe again. Bailey didn't understand the whole picture but what he wanted from her was easy enough to grasp. He wanted her to play this game, whatever it was. And to do that she just needed to do as he wanted... It felt like a trick to get her to stop fighting but, at the same time, Bailey didn't want to get killed by being difficult too often. But she wished she could have some distance, wished that his lips wouldn't be against hers. His touch frightened her now, made her feel sick. Bailey couldn't help but jump slightly when his lips were against hers. When he pulled away and released his hand from her neck, she let out another pained whimper. Bailey really hated how trapped she felt.

"Yes, Sir," Bailey whispered weakly back before she leaned in to pretend to kiss him. But Bailey didn't let their lips touch. When she did pull away, she dropped her head into her chest again and let out a weak sigh. Her hands opened back up so Justin could continue to work on the injuries. It was strange to think that she would continue her shift after this. Bailey would have thought that the fight and the blood on her face, hands, skin, and clothes would have at least allowed her to skip out early...

"Good girl." Justin murmured quietly against Bailey's lips as he pulled away from her. He leaned down slowly and started to focus on bandaging her wrist. Making sure that the bleeding on it had stopped by holding a thick cloth to it for a couple of moments before wiping it and then wrapping it in thick gauze. "No more squeezing glass, young lady" Justin ordered, his eyes flicking up towards Bailey's eyes as he looked to see if that got any sort of reaction out of the girl.

Once Bailey was all cleaned up, her cuts at least, Justin took a couple of steps back. "Wash off your hands and face." He told her as he started to slip his jacket off. Then he held it out for Bailey to slip on. "Zip it up to cover your clothing," Justin told her as he watched Bailey through the refection of the mirror. She looked so defeated, so devoid of that zest for life she just a couple of days ago.

Stepping away from Bailey, Justin stared at the reflection in the mirror. He hated it. He hated what he's had to do. He hated how Bailey was handling all of this. This wasn't supposed to happen, she was supposed to leave him alone. To stop bothering him, yet. Now he didn't want her to leave him alone. He wanted her to smile at him again. He wanted to have her pry into his life again. He wanted the old Bailey, the happy annoying one. Not this angry upset annoyance that gave him a headache.

"Your boss should be back soon," Justin said casually as he stepped back once more and turned to leave. "You're not going to class today. We're going for a ride instead" Then Justin just walked into the front of the store and then outside. He didn't head back to his car this time though, no, instead he just moved to the little alley to the right side of the building and leaned against the wall. Wanting to be closeby in case Bailey had another little breakdown.

When Justin told her not to squeeze anymore glass, Bailey just gave him a small nod. She was unsure if he was trying to be funny or something else but... Well she didn't find it funny. In that moment it was like she lost all rational thought. Bailey knew now that she should have known better but why didn't she realize it at the time? It was so simple... Even children knew not to pick up sharp objects like that.

When Justin stepped back and told her to wipe herself off, Bailey slid off of the counter slowly. She tried to do so without pressing her plams down into the counter. Though once she was on her feet, she turned and started to wash her hands and face off. As she saw herself in the mirror, Bailey noted how terrible she looked. God, this really wasn't her day. Her eyes shifted down and she refocused on getting herself cleaned up like Justin had told her to. When she was clean, she turned back to the man and took the jacket he offered, pulling it on and zipping it over her dirty shirt. It was big on her but it would do.

Although she did not respond, Bailey did listen as Justin spoke. Still, Bailey didn't want to finish work out but at least he wasn't forcing her to go to class. Though she wasn't sure she felt much better about going for a ride. Who knew what that would actually mean or what Justin had planned. She let out a small sigh once Justin was out of the store and went back to manning the counter. She didn't want to do too much. Her heart wasn't in it and her hands hurt like hell.

When her boss came back, he was too frazzled from what occurred with the delivery boy to pay much attention to her. Thank goodness. Bailey wasn't sure what she would say if he asked about her hands or how she looked. None of it was good so she preferred he didn't notice. Once her shift had ended, Bailey managed to say goodbye without seeing her boss face to face and headed out of the door. When she was in front of the shop, Bailey glanced around, unsure of where to go.

Glancing up when the bell for the store rang, Justin watched as Bailey stepped out. She looked good walking around outside in his hoodie. Blowing out the cigarette smoke, Justin threw the thing to the ground and then stepping on to put it out. "Your shift over?" He asked, even though he already knew the answer to it. It was noon, she should be heading to class, but they had another thing to do today instead.

Standing up from where he was leaning against the wall, Justin moved towards Bailey and lightly grabbed onto her hand. Forcing their fingers to intertwine as he pulled her along to where he had parked the car earlier. Then, he once again held the door open for her and closed it once she was seated and buckled in.

Once Justin got into the car as well, he buckled up and started to drive. Heading towards the highway, wanting, needing to get out of the city for a little while. The best place to go when he wanted to get away was to his little cabin out in the country. Right on the lake that he actually owned. Well, he didn't actually own it, but his cabin was the only one that was on it. His nearest neighbor was about four miles away. So, he kinda owned it.

As much as silence usually didn't bother Justin that much, when it was with Bailey. He hated it. He was used to her little questions, her nosey behavior. This wasn't the Bailey that he liked. "Have you been to a lake before?" Justin asked once they had been on the road for almost an hour. "Or, been to a cottage?" He asked, glancing sideways towards Bailey. About ten minutes ago, the treeline started to get thicker. Meaning that they were getting into the more densely wooded areas. "Had a campfire? Roasted marshmallows?"

"Yes," Bailey said softly in response. Her shift was over and now she had to go on a ride with Justin, whatever that meant. She kept her glaze off to the side, not wanting to look at Justin if she didn't have to. All she really wanted to do was go home by herself but that wasn't an option for her anymore.

When he grabbed onto her hand, Bailey opened her fingers for a moment, not really wanting to reciprocate. Though he forced their fingers to intertwined, Bailey held onto his hand, knowing better than to cause a problem for something so minor. Soon, he was pulling her along and Bailey was doing her best to follow him despite his long strides. When they got to the car, Bailey got in, buckled up and leaned back into the seat.

Her head laid back against the seat and looking out of her window. She watched as they drove onto the highway and heading out of the city. Bailey had no idea where they were going and she didn't like the feeling that was sitting in her chest. Why he was driving her away from everything was worrisome. Maybe he had enough and was going to kill her? Though that didn't feel quite right. Something else was going on but she couldn't put her finger on it.

It had taken some time, but eventually Bailey closed her eyes and was relaxing in the passenger seat. It wasn't the most comfortable position but at least she wasn't standing up, in the shop anymore. At least she was able to lay her hands open in her lap instead of moving them. Though when Justin started to speak, the young woman tensed up and she sat up in the chair a bit and opened her eyes. She worried about what he wanted even though his questions seemed innocent enough. "A lake? Yes. And I haven't been to a cottage. I have been to a bonfire and had roasted marshmallows." Bailey glanced over at him for a moment before turning away. "Why, does it matter?"

At first, Justin just shrugged his shoulders. "Not really, was just curious." He told her as he focused on the road ahead of them. There weren't that many cars on the road since it was the middle of the week, so it was nice to be able to zoom down the highway. To not have to worry about those damn semi-trucks going ten miles an hour while everyone else is trying to go at least eighty or something close to it.

Once the signs started to space out for gas stations, Justin pulled off of the highway at a random one and started to drive down the mostly deserted street. Once they got to the gas station called Uncle Ed's Fuel and Market, Justin pulled into the pump closest to the store and turned the car off. "Come on, we need to pick up some things," Justin said as he got out of the car and went around to open the door for Bailey like he usually does.

Grabbing onto the girl's hand once more, Justin pulled Bailey along with him towards the storefront. It looked outdated, but inside, it still looked outdated but at least the food looked good. Grabbing a basket with his free hand, Justin started to lead Bailey down a couple of isles. Looking at the fresh fruit and vegetables that were in season.

"Anything catching your attention?" Justin asked Bailey, slowing his pace as he eyed some grapes and blueberries. Wondering if they were in season or if they have leftovers from last year that were frozen. Then, he raised his gaze to look towards Bailey, wondering if she'd actually give him an answer or if she was just going to stay her indifferent self.

A little sigh left Bailey's lips as Justin said that they needed to pick things up. She wondered what those things could be. Though she was also hoping she could just stay in the the car while he headed in to pick up whatever. But despite her own hopes, Justin was at her door and opening it up for her. The moment she was out, Justin was grabbing onto her hand and pulling her into the store. Her eyes glanced along it for a moment, taking in the fact that the gas station looked seriously old.

Soon she was following Justin through the isles of the gas station. At least the food inside looked good. Though there wasn't anything all that usual there. Yeah there was some fruit and other things of that nature but most of it were chips, snacks and candy. Her eyes were drifting off to other things though as he kept his attention on the food. When Justin asked her if anything was catching her attention all she did was shake her head. Bailey wasn't particularly hungry nor did she care much for what was there anyways. Besides, she was sure that Justin would do what he wanted to anyways.

She continued down the isle with him but stopped walking as Justin started to make his way to the counter. She didn't say a word to him despite now that she was holding him back. The sunglasses were not catching her attention, especially since the spinning device had more than just sunglasses on it. The upper top held the glasses but the bottom half held little nick-nacks that all looked like they were from the 90s and early 2000s. Bailey wondered if they were originals or not. Like they could never sell them all or something.

She reached down and picked up a tamagotchi, looking over it's package for a moment. It had been so long since she had played with one. And her eyes then lifted up to the sunglasses and picked out a pair before putting them on and looking in the mirror. The truth was she hated sitting in a car without having sunglasses on. The sun was always too bright and it hurt her eyes. Bailey hesitated before slowly turning to Justin. "Can I please have this?" Bailey whispered as she motioned to the sunglasses.
