Cassandra smiled as she walked to one of the couples who had made a generous donation to the aquarium as she held her champagne glass. She was glad to see that so many people were willing to donate to open the new dolphin enclosure. Marine life was always something she had been passion about. Even growing up she had an obsession with the ocean. Cass looked over, seeing Amberlynn talking to some guys she had never seen before. Was this the guy she had been talking about? "Excuse me." She politely told the lady in front of her before walking off. Cass walked over to Amberlynn, smiling at her friend. "So, when are you going to introduce me to your new friends, huh?" She asked as she nudged her friend a little. She had to admit, these guys were very attractive. They almost didn't seem real. Cassandra smiled at the two guys in front of her once Amberlynn introduced her. "It's nice to meet you guys." She said, offering her hand to them. She gave them a firm handshake, before pulling away. Growing up she had always been told to not let men intimidate her and that was exactly how she carried herself. She ran the show and she knew that.

Just as she was about to say something else, her boss came over to them and tapped her on the shoulder. "Cassandra, I have some people I need to introduce you to. I'm just going to steal her for a few minutes Amberlynn." The man said as he placed his hand on Cassandra's shoulder and began to lead her away. Cassandra shrugged his hand off, before walking beside of him. She hated how that man had a habit for touching her shoulders. After talking with a few more people she made her way to the bar to get another drink, leaning against it.

Will smiled as he stood with Amberlynn, "You know I wasn't expecting this fundraiser to be this fancy." He teased Amberlynn. He had introduced Ben to Amberlynn about a week ago because he wanted him to get to know her. Especially if his plans went how he wanted them too. He could tell that Amberlynn didn't feel in her element at this fancy party. "Why exactly are you being forced to be here?" He asked. Just as the words left his mouth it was like some force had answered it. Suddenly, a girl appeared beside of Amberlynn and he knew who she was once he heard her name. "Cassandra, it's nice to meet you." He said, shaking her hand. He glanced over at Ben when she shook his hand. Will turned his attention back to Amberlynn, "So, what exactly do you do for this aquarium again?" He asked. They had only had a few small dates so he was still learning about her.

Will had a feeling that he had picked the perfect girl. She wasn't too confident, but she had a sense of confidence to her. He liked that about her. He took a sip of his drink, glancing around at all the people. This certainly wasn't the kind of party he was use to.

Ben was chatting with Will and Amberlynn getting a feel for the girl that Will wanted to take to the mansion. She was a good choice so far. Didn't seem to have a ton of friends or family but was social enough. She seemed nervous here in the public eye but like she could be confident if you got her in her own element. It would be a challenge for Will to learn to adapt to someone like her. Ben had been training him on stubborn girls that Ben usually took himself but since this was Will's first by himself he thought someone with less to break and rebuild might be good for him.

It was in a tall blonde with tattoos moving up her arms in a smart little dress walked up that his interest peeked. He had just sold off his last girl and was looking for a new project. He had thought he was going to wait for Will to get comfortable with his new girl but as soon as Cassandra's hand slipped into his he shook it back and smiled at her. He was about to start his covert questions when he saw the man coming up behind her making a beeline for her. He had intentionally taught her out. Their eyes locked in a dominate battle and he frowned as the man touched her like he was allowed to. Ben smiled at Cassandra and watched her walk off surging off the man. That woman would be a challenge and yet she would be loyal to a fault once she was broken in. Ben knew then his next challenge would be that smart little blonde. He turned his attention back to Amberlynn as she explained what she did for the aquarium. "So basically you are the pretty face here." he said. Ben watched as Cassandra went to the bar and excused himself before walking up to her. "What do you drink?" he asked.

Amberlynn blushed and let out a nervous chuckle as he admitted he didn't expect the fundraiser to be this fancy. "I'm sorry I should have warned you fundraisers are always very formal. I am really glad you could make it though. It saves me from the boss dragging me around to even potential high spender to thank them." she flushed and was about to answer Will when Cass showed up next to her. She smiled at her friend and giggled before introducing Case to Will and then his friend Ben who looked very interested in Cass. His eyes swept carefully but then honed in on their boss as he came up and did his usual, to comfortable, touch that lead Cass away.

Amberlynn looked back at Will as he asked about her job. She smiled softly. "I am an aquarist curator. I work mostly with the feeding and maintenance of the habitats for now but I am going to school to work towards the enrichment and training as well. It really is amazing. I think the otters and seals have been my main focus in school. They really are cute and clever little creatures." she looked down and sipped the drink in her hand. As Will looked around so did she. This wasn't really her scene, she did better with the animals but she still found a way to work on being comfortable with the people here. Having Cass here was helpful. Cass usually was able to drag her out into parties and large groups of people that Amberlynn normally wouldn't go into herself. When Ben summed up her role here at the fundraiser she blushed and nodded a nervous smile flittering onto her face before she looked back at Will.

Cassandra glanced over when she heard someone speak. It was Will's friend Ben. She held her drink up a little to show him. "Jack and coke. Well, Jack with enough coke to give it color." She said, laughing a little. She turned to face him some, "What about you? What do you drink?" She asked, looking at him. She took a sip of her drink as she listened. Cassandra set her glass down on the bar, "So, Ben what do you do for a living?" She asked. She bad a habit of having men run off because she was too much for them. Most men hated a powerful woman and she didn't care.

Cassandra took a sip of her drink, thinking about her next move. As his drink was place in front of him she smiled at the bartender. "You can put that on my tab." She told the younger man. Her eyes moved back to Ben. "Amberlynn didn't tell me that Will had such a good looking friend. You think she would have mentioned that." She flirted.

Will rolled his eyes a little at Ben's comment as he watched the other man walk off. "Don't worry about him. I am sure you are more than just a pretty face." He said, chuckling. "I know you want to do more than what you do now though. I think that you will be great at that. What made you want to work with animals so much?" He asked as he took a sip of his drink. He walked with her and glanced around at some of the donation tables. Will had been to plenty of parties, but those bids were for women, not material things.

"Maybe next time we hang out we can do something with less people. I know you don't like big crowds. We could go to the beach or maybe to this good restaurant I know that isn't too busy." He told her, smiling.

Ben smiled as she told him her drink. It was good taste for sure. She asked his drink and he chuckled as he he got a new drink. "Whikey on the rocks." he smirked and turned back to her. She asked about him and he shrugged. "I'm in management and development. Nothing fancy pretty lame to talk about but you, everyone is buzzing about what you do here." He didn't hate powerful women, no he enjoyed them because that meant they could become so very much more, powerful in an entirely different way than they even could imagine.

Ben grinned at her power move buying his drink with made him chuckle inside but all he did was tip his head in thanks and picked up his drink sipping it. He smirked as she flirted. From power to confession, yes it was a good sign. "Oh yes she does seem to leave out the level of attractiveness of her friends. She has told me about you already and failed to mention your beauty as well." he said and looked her over setting back in those guarded eyes he wanted to break her free and watch the submissive she would become. "Care to dance?" he asked her wanting his hands on her but not ready to play his cards yet.

Amberlynn smiled softly. "My boss is kind of a creep I wouldn't put it past him but thank you." she shrugged and smiled at his chuckle. Shr grinned looking at the pictures of sea animals surrounding them. "I use to spend every summer either at the beach or in the aquarium. I spent so much time there that the aquarists all knew my name and would let me help out from time to time. It was my safe place." she said and smiled softly. Her childhood wasn't an easy one with her absent mother high on whatever she could get her hands on and the parade of men she brought around. Amberlynn had been careful enough to avoid dangerous situations with them but it had left a lasting impression on her.

Amberlynn smiled at Will as he said he could take her to the beach next time or a restaurant and she nodded. "Yes that would be nice. If you didn't want to go out I could pack a picnic for the beach." she said her eyes brightening at the thought of being on the beach. They might not know each other very well but he already was understanding her. An older gentleman came over to Amberlynn. "Care to dance? I have a few questions about how the habitats are maintained in the aquarium." he said and Amberlynn looked at Will. "Excuse me a moment." she set her drink down and took the man's hand letting him lead her out to the dance floor.

Cassandra nodded when he mentioned what she did. "Yea you are right. What I do here is pretty amazing. I am one of the best. It is something I enjoy doing, so that is probably why I am so good at it." She explained. She finished her drink as he mentioned dancing. "Sure, let's go." She said. She let him lead her to the dancefloor before she began to dance with him. Cassandra smiled as she felt his hands on her waist. She had been with plenty of men, but there was something different about Ben. She couldn't figure out what it was though. "Management and development, huh? What company do you work for?" She asked.

After the song ended she moved away from him. "Come on. Let's go get more drinks." She said as she took his hand and led him back to the bar. She ordered them two more drinks, then looked at him. "You know what we should do after this is over?" She asked him. "We should all go back to our place. I have some really nice champagne that we could have." She suggested.

Will smirked, "Okay, a picnic on the beach sounds amazing actually." He said. He watched as a man approached and asked her to dance. "Of course, go ahead." He told her. He stood there, watching as she danced with the man as he took a swig of his beer. Will glanced over to see Ben dancing with Cassandra, his eyes meeting his friends. He knew he was up to something. He turned his attention back to watching Amberlynn with the older man.

He was kind of glad when the song ended because he was tired of watching the man put his hands on her. He smiled when she joined them. "Did you find out anything interesting?" He teased her a little.

Ben smiled at her confidence in her abilities. they went to dance and he placed his hand on her waist and took her hand leading her in the dance making small talk. she asked about his job again and smiled at her curiosity. "I own my own business actually. We are in the business of finding and developing talent. All kinds of talent." he smiled thinking of the different kinds of talent he had brought out of many a submissive.

Once the song ended he moved with her to the bar. She ordered them drinks and he leaned back against the counter as she took control letting her rival in the feeling of being in charge while she could. She mentioned going back to her and Amberlynn's place after the fundraiser and he grinned. "That could be fun." he said and grinned. "Already planning on celebrating a successful night of fundraising?" he had his own air of confidence. He was comfortable in his skin and in whatever situation he came upon because he knew he had a plan. Ben looked across the room seeing Amberlynn moving back over to Will and the desire in the young man's eyes. Perhaps they should move sooner on this opportunity rather than later. there was just a little more information he needed to find out. "How long have you lived in the city?" he asked curiously.

Amberlynn came back to Will after the dance finished relived that it was over. "No he really wasn't that interested in the habitats." she chuckled. "I kind of expected that." she said and took her drink back from Will thanking him and sipping it again. She looked up at Will trying to gauge him. She had met him in a coffee shop and they had struck up such a conversation that she had stepped out of her comfort zone to go with him on their first date for lunch. They had literally sat outside of her work and he had brought her food and they sat and talked eating as well for the short lunch break she got. this was really the first real time they got to spend together. "You never told me what it is you do. I know you said you are in business with Benjamin but you didn't say what kind of business." she said and smiled at him.

Cassandra nodded when he mentioned a successful night of fundraising. "I mean I assumed this would go well. We usually do very well with this event." She said as she took a sip of her drink. She thought a out his next question, "I have lived here for almost six years now." She told him. "What about you?" She asked as she leaned against the bar. He seemed pretty nice and she was hoping to get to know him more. Cassandra couldn't wait to get out of the fundraiser though. She liked being at these parties, but sometimes they got to be too much.

Will took a sip of his drink, "I help Ben with finding and developing talent for his business. It isn't anything too fancy." He said, chuckling. "Basically I do the stuff Ben doesn't feel like doing." He teased. He glanced over at Ben who seemed to be getting along pretty well with Cassandra. He turned his attention back to her, "Why do you come to these things if you don't like them?" He asked. "I mean are you forced to come?" He asked.

Ben smiled. "Well I am looking forward to it then." he said and wondered if they could spend the night experimenting together. Alcohol and a confident woman could turn into a fun time if he could play his cards right. Ben grinned. "I've been here about five years now." he said knowing that he should start looking into new places here in the next couple years but for now he was already focusing on his new project. "What drew you hear? Was it the aquarium or so you have family around?" he asked smoothly.

Amberlynn smiled. "Well you must be a real people person to do that job." she said and blushed wondering what he saw in her if he was so good with people. She grinned as he asked why she was here again. "Honestly I get paid to be here. I could opt out of it but I have to pay for my classes so the extra money helps." she admitted and looked back at Will. "But if you feel like it we can sneak out back for a quick break." she said as she finished her glass feeling suddenly more confident than she had before.

Cassandra smiled at him, "My parents live about an hour from here and the aquarium was a job I didn't want to pass up. So, I moved down here and never wanted to go back." She told him. She ran her fingers through her hair, noticing the way he was looking at her. "You know what. I have an idea. She finished her drink, before going to find Amberlynn and Will. She knew that Ben would follow. "We are going to head out. Bring Will back to the apartment so we can all hang out." She told her friend. She looked at Ben, not really giving him to opportunity to say know. "Let's go." She said. She walked out of the banquet hall, then looked at him. "We are going to make a few stops before we go back to my place." She said as she started walking down the sidewalk.

Soon she brought them to the aquarium, leading him to the dolphin exhibit. "If they ask you were never here." She said as she unlocked the door to the office where she worked. She stepped inside, setting her stuff down. She turned on some lights, smiling at the glass window that opened up to the dolphin tank. Cassandra looked at him, "Check it out." She said, seeing one of the dolphins swim by.

Will nodded, "Yea let's get some fresh air." He said, looking over as Ben came towards them with Cassandra. He looked at Ben, surprised that he was going along with this. "I guess we will see you there." He said, chuckling. He looked at Amberlynn, "I think she likes him." He teased as he walked through the crowd with her. Will stepped outside and leaned against the building. "It is nicer out here." He said, smiling at her. "Thank you for inviting me tonight." He said, turning to face her. He ran his fingers through her hair. "You are really beautiful you know that?" He said, quietly.

Ben grinned as she explained about her family. She had intensionally put space between them which was perfect. He walked with her across the room over to Amberlynn and Will. He smirked as she told them that she was leaving with him and to meet them later. Oh yes he had a feeling that he was going to very much enjoy her company not only tonight but later as well. She not only ordered him about but Will and Amberlynn as well. He smirked at Will knowing what he was thinking but this was an uncommon situation. He walked out with her following her down the sidewalk. "Okay lead the way." he said relaxing as he followed her strides.

When they walked into the aquarium he smirked at her little comment about him not saying anything about her letting him in. "Wow." he said as she turned on the lights. "Never here got it." he said and walked up to the windows watching the dolphins swimming by. Even he could be impressed by the dolphins. He leaned closer and looked into the window as a dolphin came up and looked at him curiously. "You know all of them by name don't you?" he asked her knowing this would be her biggest loss.

Amberlynn looked up as Cass came over and smiled at her then over at Ben who seemed relaxed and not even surprised that Cass was telling him what to do. She smiled at Will as he seemed to agree with Cass as well. Amberlynn walked out back with Will and leaned against the wall shivering a little from the cold. "I think she likes him too and he her. I get the feeling Benjamin doesn't normally let people tell him what to do." She and looked over at him. "It is nice out here a little chilly though." she said and smiled as he thanked her. "Oh no really I am glad you are here. I am really glad you came." she said and looking up at him as he turned to her. She bit her lip as his fingers ran up into her hair. Amberlynn beamed as he said she was beautiful. He looked at her with such an intense look that made her insides melt. She leaned her head into his hand. "Thank you Will." she said and placed her hand on his.

Cassandra walked up to the window, looking at the dolphin in front of them. "Yes, I do. This one is Zoey. She has been here since she was just a pup." She told him. She looked over at him, "Do you have something you are passionate about? Or something you couldn't imagine living without?" She asked looking back at the dolphin. Cassandra smiled as she placed her hand to the glass, watching as the dolphin got closer. "They are better than people." She muttered.

Will chuckled, "Yea, Ben doesn't really like to be told what to do." He said, shaking his head. He kissed her forehead before taking his jacket off. He placed it over her shoulder. "You don't get a lot of compliments do you?" He asked. He didn't understand how anyone could not compliment her. It made him want to have her all to himself. He would give her what she needed in life. He smiled at her, "You make me happy, you know that?"

Ben smiled as he watched her. "How do you tell them apart?" He asked her as he watched her. She asked what he was passionate about and he had a few things pop into mind that he wouldn't say to her just now. "My work might not be fancy and it might be a struggle at times but it is also very rewarding." He said and looked back at her. "Animals usually are better than people." he said and came up beside her putting his hand next to hers. Ben looked over at her. "Are they the only thing you couldn't live without?" he asked her.

Amberlynn smiled as he placed his jacket over her shoulders. She blushed as he asked if she got a lot of compliments. "Not usually." She said. Cat calls yes she got those but actual compliments that people actually meant. Cass was probably the only one to give her some once in a while. Amberlynn smiled at him. "I make you happy?" she asked surprised. She had never had someone tell her that and it was hard to believe. She had only known him such a short time and as much as she tried to be reasonable she was drawn to him on a level she didn't have any control over.

Cassandra continued to look at the dolphins, "They all have their own personalities so it is easy to tell. She has a small scar on her fin though." She explained. She watched as he placed his hand on the glass. "I mean I couldn't live without my job. It is something I really love." She said. "Come on. I will let you meet her." She said. She led him out to the outside and moved so they were near the water. Cassandra smiled as she watched Zoey appear, using the clicker to get her to come onto the deck for a moment. "Isn't she amazing?" She said as she ran her hand over the dolphin. She smiled as the dolphin slipped back into the water.

Will nodded, "Yea, you do. I know we haven't known each other long, but you do make me happy." He said. He smiled as he looked down at her. "You seem to have this thing about you that just makes me smile." He admitted. He couldn't wait to have her all to himself.

Ben grinned as he went with her to meet the dolphin. He stood at the edge and smiled as she came up and Cassandra pet her. "She is amazing." he said watching her. "You are pretty amazing though." he said as he watched her. He knew the struggle was going to be pretty intense with her deep passion for these creatures. He would have to find a way to let her come visit. He was thinking bribery with the aquarium owner or maybe blackmail but he was already planning it out. A reward perhaps or if she got too low. She was going to be livid with him at first. Ben moved over to her carefully. He could see her with her hair up and feet bare in that pretty little dress just up here with the dolphins. she was comfortable here.

Amberlynn bit her lip and blushed dropping her hand from his and looked down. "I am glad, I really haven't felt like this with anyone before." she said though she wasn't sure what to call this connection. Amberlynn looked up at him. "You do have a nice smile I enjoy putting it there." she giggled flushing with how close that sounded to being a suggestive flirt. Amberlynn stepped into him feeling his warmth and she hummed softly. "I should make one more appearance inside then we can get out of here. "One more drink?" she asked him.

Cassandra looked at him when he called her amazing. "I'm amazing? You just met me. For all you know I could be a horrible bitch." She teased him. She watched as the dolphin swam around and she got to her feet. "I'm glad you think that though." She said, smiling at him. "Come on let's head out of here." She said. She walked back to her office and washed her hands before gathering her things and locking up. Cassandra walked with him, thinking about how she normally didn't take people to meet the dolphins. "So, what did you think?" she asked.

Will grinned, "Yea let's get one more drink and then we can head out of here." He said. He walked inside with her, getting himself another drink. He took a sip of it as he stood with her. "How often do you do these fundraisers?" He asked.

Ben smirked. "Yes you are. I have a talent for seeing the best in people and you my dear are stellar." he said and smiled as she teased him. "I can also spot the bitches and you are not one of those." he winked. He followed her out waiting for her to lock up before he walked with her down the street again. "It was amazing. They are amazing creatures I am glad you showed me." he said and shrugged out of his jacket wrapping it over her shoulders now that it seemed they where going to be out in the night air longer than just a moment.

Amberlynn walked in with him following him while he got his drink. She greeted some drunk donators and thanked them for being here before she turned back to Will. She grinned as he asked how often she had to come to these. "Once or twice a year." she said shrugging. "Cass goes to more of them than I do." she said and bit her lip as they called the last dance. "Do you dance?" she asked him and shifted kind of nervous to ask.

Cassandra smiled as he put the jacket around her shoulders. "I am surprised you were so willing to come along." She told him. She walked until she got to the late-night taco place that she liked so much. "Hungry?" She asked him as she opened the door. She had stopped there often when she worked late. "This place makes amazing tacos." She said as she got in line with him. She figured that Amberlynn would be awhile so she wanted to grab some food before heading to her apartment. Once they got to the front of the line she ordered herself two tacos. "Do you want some?" She asked, looking over at him. There was something about Ben that drew her in and she couldn't quite place her finger on it. He seemed so nice and welcoming.

Will nodded, "You guys must really bring in the money if you only have to do this twice a year." He said. He smiled when she asked him to dance. "Yea I dance." He said. He offered her his hand. "Come on." He said as he led her out to the dance floor. He looked at her, pulling her close to him as he danced with her. He wondered if she would miss this life when he took her away from it. Maybe she would really like it when he brought her to his place. He looked down at her and smiled.

Ben chuckled. "Everyone has their strengths and when it comes to this event tonight I figured you knew what you where doing so I was just going to follow along." he said though truthfully she had kept with wha he would be comfortable doing all night so he had no need to sway her to change her plans. It was comfortable to know she naturally was able to give him what he wanted even if she did it wrong for now.

They walked into a taco place and he chuckled. "Yeah I could eat." he said thinking he was really hungry for something else but he could wait. "Yeah but this is my treat you got the drinks." he said and handed over some cash as he ordered himself some tacos to on her suggestion. They got food then headed back to her place. They sat down once she let them in and he chuckled at the entire chick pad. He sat in the chair next to her and took a bite of his taco humming. "You're right these are good." he said after he swallowed.

Amberlynn smiled softly. "It's a tax break to donate so a lot of rich people with a need to score some soft points and get a tax break donate big when they can dance with a pretty girl and connect their name with an animal or sea creature in need." she smiled. He told her to come with him and she took his hand walking with him to the dance floor her dress sweeping as she turned to him. She stepped into him as he pulled her into the dance. She smiled softly up at him as they danced slowly to the song. She could feel his hands on her and she enjoyed the feeling.

Once the song ended she smiled and went to the coat check with him getting her purse and then left with Will down the street as she lead the way to her apartment. "Again thank you for coming tonight. You made it so much more fun." she admitted and looked up at him that rosey glow over her cheeks still as she walked with him. Her feet where starting to bother her in the heels. She placed her hand on his shoulder stopping him. "I have to take these shoes off." she grinned at him and pulled them off her bare feet hitting the pavement and she hummed in relief. She took her heels and held up her dress as they walked to the apartment.

Cassandra sat down on the couch and opened her tacos. "I told you they were good." She said before she began to eat. She glanced over as Amberlynn walked inside with Will. She went back to eating her tacos and listened to the conversation around her. When she finished she got up and went to the kitchen. "Okay, who is thirsty?" She asked as she grabbed the bottle of champagne and popped the cork out of it. She poured some glasses, before offering them to everyone.

Will walked with her, "No problem. I had a lot of fun." He said as he stopped as she took her shoes off. He walked with her to the apartment and stepped inside. He looked at Ben, seeing him eat. "Oh you disappeared for tacos. Now it makes sense." He teased as he sat down on the couch. Even though they were in a serious business he looked at Ben as a more of a brother. Will took the champagne and took a sip of it.
