Ben frowned as a knock came at the door. He stood as he heard the talking die off at the door. He walked up behind Cassandra and placed a hand on the door the other on her waist. "Everything alright here?" he asked mostly to her. He looked up at the man from earlier getting a vibe off the man he didn't like. there was a difference about him and other predators. He made no attempt to be something he wasn't. The man looked at Ben and frowned. "Everything is fine..." he said and Ben chimed in not letting him finish. "Aww well then goodnight." he said and slowly started to close the door. The man stepped back. "I will see you Monday morning Cassandra, if you will please come and see me when you get in." he said and after a quick reply form her Ben closed the door. "I apologize if I overstepped it was just seeming to make Amberlynn uncomfortable." he said softly and smiled down at her as he let his hand drop from her waist. "Still feel like finishing that dare or you wanting your free pass?" he asked.

Amberlynn wouldn't meet Will's eyes as she saw her boss there. She bit her lip gently. That man had a thing for Cassandra and it was defiantly not in the best interest for Cassandra but it wasn't Amberlynn's business to take care of it. She had offered to be there for her friend before but as Cassandra does she said she could handle it herself. After all her friend was independent. When Ben got up and went to handle the situation she frowned wondering how well that was going to go over.

Cassandra looked at him as he closed the door then looked at the files in her hand. "Yea, I need a raincheck." She said as she opened one of them. Even when she was suppose to be relaxing she only thought of work. "I will be right back." She said as she walked away and went to her room. She sat on the bed, looking over the files.

Will looked at Ben, then looked at Amberlynn. "Is she okay?" He asked her. He wa surprised at how quickly Cassandra's demeanor changed. She seemed to have some demons she was hiding and he knew that intrigued Ben. "Well, why don't we continue." He said, smirking at Amberlynn.

Ben frowned watching her receding form. He was irritated with the interruption. He was going to have to figure out how to penetrate that barrier she had just thrown up against him. He returned to the living room to see Amberlynn watching where Cassandra had gone then nervously at him. He smiled softly. "What kind of work can't wait till Monday?" he asked her and she shrugged looking down answering Wills question. "She just kind of gets absorbed in her work, it's her escape." she said. Ben nodded and headed back to Cassandra's room glad she had shown him. He knocked before peeking in a moment later. "Did the fundraiser go okay?" he asked as he slipped into her room. He had to connect to her wherever her mind had gone. She looked like she was concentrating hard and he rubbed his neck. "Sometimes just talking about what is going through your mind out loud helps you process. I don't know much about sea creatures but I am good at listening." he leaned back against the wall.

Amberlynn looked over at Will as he suggested the continue and she struggled with it. On one hand if Ben could help drag Cassandra out of her thoughts and back into the game then it would be good that they continued on the other hand she didn't feel so playful anymore. "Okay but only if you pick, truth or dare?" she asked him softly. Amberlynn couldn't really deny Will but part of her also wanted to sneak off with him and show him to her room and let those things she had been trying to avoid just happen. it would at least make the night feel better.

Cassandra looked up from the files, "The fundraiser was great. I guess I just wasn't expecting these files. I'm sorry for ruining the fun." She said. She scooted over some, "You can sit down if you want." She told him. Cassandra looked at the files, reading over them some. "I am more annoyed that he just showed up here. It's weird." She said. "I guess a distraction would be nice is all. That just made me feel so weird." She said.

Will smiled, "Truth." He said as he put his arm around her. "You better pick something good too." He said as he took her hand and laced his fingers with his. He just wanted to get her alone. He liked having the other two around, but he wanted to get his hands on Amberlynn.

Ben nodded as she explained herself. "No need to apologize." he sat down in the space she made for him. "Does he do things like that often that make you feel weird?" he asked her. He understood her annoyance, he felt the same way. When she said she wanted a distraction he took her hand and gently stroked the back of it. "Well when someone at work is creeping you out perhaps the best form of distraction is not work related." he said and caught her eyes. "But if you insist on work maybe you can tell me what is in your important files."

Amberlynn hummed as he said she better pick a good question. She chuckled and relaxed as he put his arm around her and took her hand. It seemed every time they where alone he touched her, he drew her into him. "Okay how about this... What is the song that you get it on to the most?" Amberlynn blushed grinning at her cleverness.

Cassandra looked at him as he stroked the back of her hand. "Why are you being so nice to me?" She asked. She had learned quickly that when people were nice they wanted something. She looked at the files, "They are just some things that need changed around and some reports about how the dolphins are doing." She explained.

Will chuckled when she asked that question. He could think of plenty of songs he had listened to while in a room with a woman. He moved closer to her, "You know I really like not having music at all. That way i can hear every little breath my partner makes " He said, playing with a strand of her hair.

Ben grinned as she asked why. She was smart. "I am nice to you because I like you Cassandra. That is what people do when they want to build relationships together. Or is that not why you took me to see the thing you are most passionate about this evening?" he asked and looked back at the files as she explained them. "These are things you mostly already know are they not?" he asked looking back at her. "The dolphins will be okay for the night, for the weekend without your full attention. And your boss is a creep so put it out of your mind for a while. You can address him in your strong and confident way on Monday and set him straight about what is acceptable work hours." He smiled. "You are a very brave and confident woman but also very smart and important int hat aquarium." he said and as he said it he knew he would have to take her to a different mansion to train her then the one they had in town. Perhaps it was time to move the operation.

Amberlynn blushed as he chuckled. She bit her lip as he moved closer before speaking. She inhaled sharply at his words knowing there was no hiding her reaction this time. She swallowed looking at his lips then back to his eyes. "I didn't ask what you like." she challenged her stomach a bundle of nerves. Her nervous eyes searched his as she tested this new boundary with him. It was the most dominate she had been the entire time he had known her. Amberlynn wondered how he would take it.

Cassandra stared at him when he said that he liked her. She knew that he was right about the dolphins being okay til Monday. She knew that she overworked herself, but she couldn’t help it. She was so passionate about her job that she sometimes forgot about everything else around her. Though she knew that most people didn’t stick around in her life. “That feeling of liking me?” She said to him. “Yea, that will go away.” She said as she pulled her hand away. She got up and laid the files on the dresser. Cassandra turned to look at him, leaning back against the dresser. She wanted to get to know Ben, but she was also worried that it would end badly.

Will looked at her as he noticed she was getting flustered, “You are right you didn’t. I just felt like I should probably tell you that.” He said. He ran his fingers through her hair, “I think I am ready for a tour.” He said, smirking. Will knew that she wanted him just as much as he wanted her.

Ben watched her and how she tried to enforce that wall she put up to keep him out. "Because you are a very busy woman?" he asked standing and moving closer to her. He stood in front of her. "I run a business I understand busy besides you make time for things you really are interested in." he said and tilted his head to the side. "But we are getting ahead of ourselves, why don't we just enjoy tonight. For just this moment you have nothing that can't wait." he said and gently ran his hand into her hair gently pulling her closer. "Let's just take the moment to enjoy what is right in front of us."

Amberlynn bit her her lip as he said he was ready for a tour and she nodded. "Okay." she said and stood. she showed him the kitchen and then down the hall pointing out the bathroom and Cassandra's room then opened up her own room letting him in to the one room in the house different than all the others. She walked in and turned around as she stood in the middle of her room. "Well that's it." she laced her fingers together looking up at him not knowing how he might react to being in her room that was so obviously different than the rest of the apartment.

Cassandra laughed, "No, because i am not as wonderful as i seem." She said. She looked at him as he pulled her close, shaking her head. "You must think you are so smooth." She told him. Originally she thought it was a great idea to bring him back to her place. Now she was coming back down to earth and realizing that she couldn't get involved with this guy. "You are a good looking guy. You will find someone that would love to hang out with you." She said as she pulled away from him. Cassandra had learned over time that she just wasn't the relationship type.

Will stepped into her bedroom and glanced around. "Your room is nice." He said as he looked at her things. She had a different style compared to the rest of the apartment. He sat down on the end of her bed, looking up at her. "Come here." He said, holding out his hand to her. He knew that he had to remember to let her have some control right now. He smiled up at her, "I hope you are having a good time tonight." He said.

Ben had to swallow down his groan as she essentially pushed him away again. She was not going to be easy. He chuckled as she said he must think he was smooth. "Cassandra... I think several things about myself thinking I am smooth would be ver narcissistic of me the real question is do you think I am smooth?" She shut him down again with a snide comment. "You know maybe you're harder on yourself than you should be. Play a little game with me for a moment, step outside of your self and think about what you said. Maybe you are just as wonderful as you appear to be. Maybe you try too hard not to be yourself and that is the part you should criticize not the real you." he said and shrugged. "But what do I know I just met you." he said and sat back on her bed. "What are you afraid of tonight Cassandra? Is it really me?" he asked.

Amberlynn smiled softly. "Thank you." she said noticing he had shut the door on his way in. She watched him sit in her bed and she heard his order to come to him. He belly jumped and she looked at his hand before reaching out and taking it blushing as he brought her into him looking up at her. She smiled as he asked to make sure she was having a good time. She nodded relaxing as he smiled at her. "I am. I like it better with just us... I mean all of us here at the apartment when there aren't so many people." she blushed though she liked just her and him too honestly. Still she didn't trust herself around him when they where alone though and that was what worried her right now.

Cassandra frowned as she looked at him, thinking about what to say. "I know I am wonderful. I have an amazing life." She said. "I just don't do well with dating or men. It might just be that I don't think they are good enough." She said, shrugging. Cassandra walked over to stand in front of him. "I'm not afraid of anything. I am more worried that you will try to see this for more than what it really is." She said.

Will smiled as he placed his hand on her side and rubbed it a little. "Relax." He said as he looked up at her. Will could tell that he made her nervous. "I would never do anything you wouldn't want me to do." He said as he let his eyes meet hers. He wanted to just throw her down on the bed, but he knew he couldn't do that.

Ben grinned, now they where getting somewhere. She wasn't sure what she was wanting at all. She both wanted to be independent and dependent, she wanted to be alone and yet have someone there for her. He understood this problem and knew how to help her fix it. she wouldn't like it at first but he could fix this all he had to do was take her with him and he was starting to think fuck the wait. "Aww and what am I suppose to be seeing this as?" he asked her looking up at her gorgeous figure and into her sharp eyes. Ben was convinced more and more that she was the right one for his next adventure and was just about convinced that he wasn't going to wait.

Cassandra smiled a little, "See it as a night of fun with someone you barely know that you will never see again." She said. She didn't plan to spend time with him again. She stepped so she was standing between his legs, letting her fingers move through his hair. He certainly was her type and she didn't usually say no to a good time.
