Make It Right

Kyle smiled as he walked into the arena where Red Velvet and a few other groups would be performing with Red Velvet to watch them perform their comeback song. When they got to the dressing room, Kyle hugged each girl as he started talking, ‘I’m so proud of you guys and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity meet and work with you guys directly this time. You will do great. Fighting,’ he smiled before walking off down the hallway to take his seat to where they would be sitting later when another group performed. He pulled out his phone to text Hayley, his friend back in Los Angeles when he hears Taehyung hyung. He looked up and everything seemed to fade away besides V and all the noise got dimmer and dimmer, till all he heard was the pounding of his heart.

Taehyung knew that his ex, Kyle, was going to be at the Red Velvet show, because he knew that he helped then with their choreography for their comeback. He also knew where Kyle woukd be sitting, because he knew some of the employees that worked at the venue and they were able to pull some strings. So here he is face to face with the love of his life, who in return was looking at him full of various emotions. However, Taehyung knew he had to play it cool and pretend that this meeting was just a coincidence, although he much rather be close to the younger boy, holding him and kissing him like he used to.

Kyle looked at Taehyung, frozen in place. He stood there until the older began to speak. Then everything came back into focus. He walked around the older and went to go stand side stage to watch red velvet perform. He did not want to be close to Taehyung or talk to him. He wanted to be as far away from him as he could be. He hated that asshole. He left him standing at the altar with an apology as he ran away and he has the audacity to want to talk to him. Screw him. He was allowed to come and watch the girls perform their comeback from the side by their manager and the venue manager.

Taehyung sighed, he just wanted to sit down and talk with Kyle and explain what happened in their wedding day and why he left him. He knew he owed Kyle that and so much more, but he just needed the younger boy to give him just a couple of hours of his time to give him the the apologies and explanation.

Each girl gave Kyle a hug as she walked on stage until they all stood before the crowd of other artists, paparazzi, record companies, managers, and fans alike. Soon the music started up and the girls started to dance and sing. Kyle tried to watch the girls the entire time but he felt somebody staring at him and when he found the source, he glared before looking back towards red velvet.

After watching Red Velvet perform, he tried to find Kyle, but it was no use. His ex-boyfriend kept glaring at him and made it pretty clear that he didn't want him around. So Taehyung decided to just go home and come up with a better plan to get the younger boy to talk to him.

Once the girls were done performing, he hugged them all again and congratulated them on an amazing performance and was about to go home but the girls stopped him and asked him to go out with them to get some drinks and food. He accepted their invitation and went out with them because he enjoyed the girls company and he hoped it would brighten his mood after seeing his ex fiancé.

As soon as Taehyung walked inside of his apartment, he plopped down on the couch, and draped his arm over his eyes. He hated that Kyle wouldnt speak, be around him, nor make any eye contact with him. However, Taehyung knew that he deserved it. He left his ex-fiance standing at the altar, embarrassing the younger boy, while he never even showed up to their wedding because he was scared. Instead of being mature and go talk to Kyle about his fears, he took the cowardly way out, and Taehyung will forever regret that moment. However, Taehyung was ready to make amends and make things right between the two of them, but he didnt know how he can get through to Kyle.

After he ate dinner and had a few beers with the girls, he waited with them until their manager showed up to take them back to their dorm house before he left to go to his leased apartment. It was a fun night. The girls had distracted him but once they were gone and the fun was over, Taehyung started to invade his thoughts again. He stuffed his hands in his jacket pockets as he walked home, trying to stop thinking about that asshole so he wouldn’t get angry, so that he wouldn’t cry but it was no use.

Since Kyle blocked Taehyung from every social media outlet, his email address and phone number, let alone wont even speak to him in public, Taehyung really had no way to contact his ex fiance. He desperately wanted to make things right between them and give e the explanation that Kyle deserved. His last resort was to contact him using a fake number, hoping that he would just give him one chance to apologize. He wont ask him to give him a second chance to work things out. He'll leave that to the younger boy to decide.

Hey, I know you hate me and I dont blame you, but can we meet up so I can explain what happen that night, but also give you the apology that you deserve. After that I wont bother you again if you wish.

Kyle pulled his phone out of his pocket when it dinged, signaling he had a notification. Somebody texted him. He didn’t recognize the number. He opened the message and started to read it. He knew who it was from now. Seriously.

‘No I don’t want to meet up and I don’t want your explanation or your bullshit apology. I don’t care...’ he sent back before blocking the number and stuffing his phone back into his pocket. Taehyung seriously thought he would agree to meet up and talk about what happened. No. Not a chance.

Taehyung read the reply from Kyle and knew that he had blocked his fake number. It angered him just a bit, because he was trying to make things right. The only way that Taehyung could get him to listen, was to literally corner the boy. He thought about going over to Kyle's place, but he knew that now wasn't a good time, because he knew that when he's angry, Taehyung tend to say some awful things and he didn't want to make matters worse than they already are. So he was going to wait when he was clear minded.

Kyle sighed when he got home and went straight to bed without a shower or changing clothes. It took awhile for him to fall asleep and even when he did it wasn’t restful. When morning came, he got up, took a shower and put on some fresh clothes before he went out to meet up with red velvet. The girls wanted to have breakfast with him as a continuation celebration for their comeback. He left the apartment in a pair of tight jeans, a loose v neck and some chuck Taylor’s with his bangs hanging loose over his face. He texted one of the girls to let her know he was on his way.

Taehyung woke up the next morning, not feeling rested because his mind kept swirling over the thought of Kyle. He got up and went to the bathroom to shower and do his daily routine to make himself look decent. He decided to go out for breakfast knowing that he had nothing at home to make, which he mentally told himself to go grocery shopping afterwards. Walking into the breakfast restaurant, Taehyung immediately saw Kyle sitting with the girls in Red Velvet. Deciding to not give himself any attention so that Kyle wouldn't be upset, he decided to make his breakfast order to go. However it when he was about to slip out of the restaurant, when heard Irene called out his name. "Hey Taehyung, come join us for breakfast. We're celebrating from our comeback success." She offered.

Taehyung looked at Kyle who was glaring at him, before looking at Irene. "Thank you, but I don't want to intrude."

"Nonsense, come join us. Please, Taehyung oppa." Wendy insisted.

Kyle looked away and started to eat his breakfast very stiffly. He didn’t say anything or look up at Taehyung, just down at his plate. He ate a little bit before he excused himself, ‘hey girls I’m sorry to cut this short, my friend Hayley just got to Seoul. I have to go pick her up. Want to have breakfast with us tomorrow?’ When the girls nodded, he went up front and paid for himself and the girls before leaving the restaurant.

Taehyung knew that Kyle was making an excuse to not be around him, but he wasn't going to let him get away that easily. "I will join you ladies in a bit, I just need to make a quick call." He told them before slipping outside, catching Kyle before he could escape. He pinned the younger boy to the wall, where no one could see them. "Look, Kyle. I know you don't want to talk to me, and I don't blame you. But I need you to just hear me out, after that, you won't have to speak to me ever again. In fact, I won't bother you ever again, but I just need this one chance for you to just listen to me, please." Taehyung begged, but didn't let go of his barrier.

‘I told you through text message that I don’t want to hear it so move and let me leave Taehyung,’ he told the older as he pushed against him, trying to make him move. He gasped when his wrists were grabbed and pinned, ‘are you serious? Let me go.’

"I know you did, and it took every ounce of me to not have barged into your home. So if you can quit fighting me just for a few minutes, this can end much smoothly and quickly." Taehyung insisted and then sighed. "I only need 5 minutes. Can you just give me that."

‘You know what explain so you can let me go and leave me the hell alone. Go on, tell me why you left me standing there, looking stupid in front of my family and friends, your family and friends. That was embarrassing and heart breaking you asshole. I stood there for a long time, hoping you would show up, hoping that nothing had happened to you then I learned from your friend Jungkook that you were just being a coward. So explain and let me leave because I don’t want to be near you, I don’t want to hear your voice or see your face. I want you to leave me alone.’
