"I know, and you're right. I just hate hurting other people, you know." She said but took his hand, "Since you are here, do you want to meet some of my co-workers?" She asked.

‘Yeah I’d love that,’ he told her before bowing to the people she was sitting with, ‘hello, I’m Soyeon’s friend Kihyun. Nice to meet you. May I join you guys for drinks?’

Her coworkers smiled and nodded. Soyeon smiled and sat down next to Kihyun. She felt butterflies fill her stomach when she felt him wrap an arm around her waist and placing couple kisses on her forehead and cheeks.

Wonho started to down drinks faster as he saw them together and how he was making her smile and blush and the fact that she agreed to go out with him. He only stopped when the bar tender wouldn’t him have anymore. He rolled his eyes before grabbing his car keys and heading outside, ‘whatever, I’ll just go home and drink myself unconscious.’

"Come on hyung, dont do that." Hyungwon said as he paid for his tab. "Let's get you back home safely. Besides I'm sure you dont want Soyeon to see you this drunk." He said and helped his friend to the car.

Soyeon was enjoying the night hanging out with her co-workers and Kihyun, but she couldn't help but wish that Wonho was with her. But she has to get over it. Soon it was getting super late and Soyeon was getting tired. "Hey Kihyun, do you mind taking me home? I'm getting tired.she asked him.

Wonho took his keys back from Hyungwon, ‘I’m fine. I’m not drunk but I will be when I get home,’ he told him before getting in the drivers side, turning on the car and leaving.

Kihyun smiler, ‘yes I will gladly take you home. Wait I didn’t mean...yes I will,’ he gave her a nervous smile as he blushed a dark shade of red.

Soyeon giggled and kissed his cheek. "Its okay, I knew what you meant." She said before facing her co-workers to let them know that she was heading home. Just as the two of them were about to leave, they were stopped by Hyungwon. "Just so you know, Wonho is home and probably getting black out drunk. If he does anything to harm you, call me or any of us, okay?" He warned her. Soyeon nodded but frowned. She knew that he was mad at her, so she was going to have to make it up to him

He didn’t make it home. He was more drunk than he told Hyungwon. His vision was a little blurry so things looked double. He was also speeding to get home faster to get blackout drunk and pass out so he didn’t have to possibly see and hear Soyeon come home with Kihyun. He ended up getting knocked out when he crashed his car and he hit his head on the steering wheel.

Soyeon got into the car with Kihyun before heading back to her apartment that she shared with Wonho. On the way, Soyeon notice a lot of police cars speeding past them. It wasnt until they approached the next block where there were police cars, firetrucks, and an ambulance surrounding a car that looked familiar to her. "Kihyun slow down, that car looks like Wonho's." When the mover closer, Soyeon was able to confirm that it was Wonho's car. "Kihyun pull over, its Wonho. He got into an accident." She said.

Kihyun pulled the car over and turned it off. He got out and rushed over with Soyeon but the cops wouldn’t let them through, ‘that’s our friend. Let us through.’

The paramedics got the door of the car open and carefully got Wonho out before laying him on a stretcher before they took him into the ambulance. They got in afterwards and took off for the hospital.

"We need to follow them,. I cant believe he drove home drunk. When he wakes up, in going to kick his ass." Soyeon mumbled angrily, but was hurting inside. She didn't understand why Wonho drank that much and why he thought it was a good idea to drive home drunk.

Kihyun nodded as he and Soyeon went back to his car, got in and followed behind the ambulance to the hospital. He parked where he could in front, turned off the car and rushed inside with Soyeon. He went to the nurse’s desk, ‘hey my friend Lee Hoseok was just taken here not to long ago.’

‘Yes he just got here but your going to have to wait until they get him settled before you can see him,’ the nurse told him.

Soyeon nodded and sat in the waiting room with Kihyun sitting beside her. Her legs to bounce in nervousness, while she held onto one of Kihyun's hand for comfort. "I feel like this is my fault. I just wish I knew what he wanted."

‘This is not your fault. This is Wonho making a bad judgement call because he loves you but he’s scared to date somebody else after what that evil bitch did to him. He knows your not like her but he’s still scared that one day you’ll leave him and he’ll have another broken heart because if he loses somebody else that he lets in, it’ll destroy him completely.’

"I could never leave him. Wonho should know that. We have a lot of history together. I just wish he could believe me that I would never hurt him like that. But at the same time, I cant keep letting him control me like he does. I love him and I want to be with him. I want more from him than this friends with benefits. But since I agreed to it, if I cant get mad at him for sleeping with other woman, he shouldn't get mad at me or prevent me from pursuing other guys who take an interest in me. Usually I dont because I'm so hung up on Wonho, but it sucks when it's not reciprocated. " she said, her feelings spilling out.

‘I just told you it is reciprocated. He’s just scared but that’s something you two need to talk about. But I do agree he shouldn’t get jealous of you seeing other men if he sees other women. All I can say is talk to him and I’ll be with you,’ he took her hand, lacing their fingers together, giving her hand a light squeeze.

Soyeon nodded, "Thank you Kihyun." She said and placed a soft kiss to his cheek before resting her head against his shoulder while they wait for the doctor to give them Wonho's update. "Wonho better stay a live so I can kick his ass once the doctors discharge him." She commented with slight sense of humor, but she was serious about kicking his ass for drunk driving.

It took a few hours but the doctors finally let them back to see Wonho. He was unconscious in the bed with bandages wrapped around his middle, his arms, his head. He had stitches on his face, his lip was busted, he had two black eyes. He was messed up. He hadn’t worn his seatbelt when he was driving and he hit the car hard when he crashed it.

As soon as Soyeon saw the cuts and bruises on Wonho's face along with the bandages, she choked on her tears while she held onto Kihyun6hand tighter, but not hurting him. "I fucking hate you for doing this to yourself. All for what? A little jealousy? You told me that you didnt want a relationship and that were can see other people since we're only friend with benefits or did that only apply to you." She stopped in the middle of her scolding as she dropped down to the side of his bed. "I want to hate you so much Wonho, but I cant because I love you and I know you feel the same but I dont understand why you wont give us a try." She sobbed once more but then got off the bed and sat back down next to Kihyun, holding his hand and moved closer to him so he could comfort her.

Kihyun held Soyeon close to him, ‘it’s okay Soyeon. Wonho will be fine. Soon he’s going to be out of this hospital back to normal, healthy. Don’t worry baby,’ he told her before kissing the top of her head. He ran one hand soothingly through her hair as he gave her other hand reassuring squeezes. He looked at Wonho, sad to see his friend like that, hurting both physically and mentally because of that bitch monster of a woman who hurt him years ago but pissed that he’s hurting Soyeon a woman that loves Wonho and that Wonho loves back but refuses to let in and that he himself loves.
