"Well, isn't that nice," Julie said with a warm smile. "I think you will come to love it here."

"I think I will too," Giselle said warmly, smiling at the woman back. "How long have you been here?"

"Oh, for my whole life..." Julie continued on, telling Giselle about her left and her story, with Giselle asking many questions along the way. It was clear that she was a very curious woman. Though a few minutes later, the announcer was back on the stage and calling out the two fighters that were to battle next. Some people who had gone to their seats were now making their way back around the stage.

Daniel smiled and sat back letting her enjoy the company. He sipped his drink, and looked over as the two fighters were brought to the ring. He looked over and watched closely, wanting to assess how the fighters were doing, it had been awhile since he'd seen either of them fight.

He looked over at Giselle, "so Susan, how are you enjoying this part of town?" he asked

Once the fighting started again, Giselle reached over and took his hand, holding onto it. The brawl before her made the woman a bit uneasy as fights happening around her typically were horribly bad things. Though at Daniel's question, she let out a little 'hm?' before laughing lightly and responding. "It is a lot more rowdy that I had been expecting but I like it a lot. This place is very lively and everyone seems so friendly."

Daniel smiled and nodded to her, "I'm glad Susan, the fights are fair and the fighters make good money," he said softly. He gave a sly wink to her, knowing she could guess he had first hand knowledge of that. He sipped his drink, and continued to talk with the couple as the fight progressed.

As the fighting progressed, the cheers and jeers became louder and louder. And the people surrounding the area started to press in closer. So close, that as one fighter ducked, one of the fighters accidentally hit a member of the crowd. This started an out right bar fight with members of the crowd going at each other. Some members who had not been near the fight were now jumping from their tables to go involved while others leaned back and watched, thinking that it would not move to the sitting area.

Daniel sighed as the fight spilled into the crowd. He stood up moving around beside Giselle. "I think this is our queue to leave, it was nice meeting you both," he said softly. He took her arm lightly, "I can't have you getting hurt," he whispered to her as he began escorting her to the door.

Giselle was quick to cling to Daniel when the fight in the bar broke up. She certainly had no issue in becoming part of this fight. So when Daniel started to lead her out, she stayed pressed against him. Though before they were able to leave, one of the drunk patrons of the tavern headed up to them. "Ah, come on, a fighter running away from a fight? You got a coward's heart now?" The man swung, having tried to aim for Daniel's face but due to his drunkness, was much more likely to hit Giselle in the eye. Seeing this, the princess was quick to duck out of the way.

Daniel sighed and shifted them out of the way of the drunkard. "I advise you to tempter your tongue, good sir," he said lightly. He kept ushering Giselle towards the door, "before I have to teach you some manners," he added

Giselle pressed hard against Daniel, trying to stay as close to him as possible. So when he ushered her towards the door, the princess did so quickly. Her fingers wrapped around his shirt. Luckily, the man who had caused them any issue waved Daniel away. "I suppose the coward can do as he wishes," The drunkard said as he started to head back into the fight.

Daniel would of taught the man a lesson, in the old days. However he wanted to get Giselle to safety, so he continued to lead her out of the bar. "Well that was fun, shall we call it a day for today?" he asked her

"I think that would be for the best," Giselle said, her breath slightly shaky. She didn't like how close that man had come from punching her, even if he had not been aiming for her. Once they were back onto the street, she followed him towards the hidden entrance to the castle. "Why did that man call you a fighter?"

Daniel smiled, and began to led her back to the castle. He paused, "because that was one of the places I used to work, if my luck had been bad at the markets," he admitted. He looked her over trying to gauge her reaction

Giselle's eyes shifted from the street in front of her to Daniel's eyes. "Really?" She spoke softly in response. Her eyebrows furrowed together slightly for a moment before her face started to relax again. "I suppose it is not so different from knight work," She murmured gently.

Daniel smiled glad she didn't freak out, "come on we are almost back," he said softly. He kept her close as they slipped through the crowd back to the secret tunnel.

When they arrived back at the library, Giselle grabbed the clothes that she had hidden in the tunnel and changed back into them away from his eyesight. Once she was dressed, Giselle came out of the secret tunnel, closing it securely.

Daniel stayed watch as she quickly changed back into her royal clothes. He smiled at her, when she reappeared. "How was that princess, bearable?" He asked.

He moved towards her, "I am happy to oblige your adventurousness, if it always goes that well," he commented

"It went well until the end, that is," Giselle teased him gently, a wide smile on her face. "Though I think that neither of our faults. It was quite fun though. I would like to go out with you again soon." She laid a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you for taking me out, Daniel."

Daniel smiled and nodded, "you are welcome, perhaps in time, we won't have to sneak out," he said lightly. He stepped back from her, he had enjoyed spending time with her, but knew that their closeness would never happen

Once Daniel stepped back, Giselle ran a hand through her hair before turning and heading towards the front of the library once again. "I am not so sure about that. I technically am not meant to be going out and I do not believe that will change anytime soon."

Daniel smiled softly, and nodded, "well you are welcome to sneak out with me, whenever you want," he said softly. He stepped forward and kissed her cheek, "just ask," he said softly. He honestly would do anything for her, she was so beautiful
