As Daniel leaned forward and kissed her cheek, a warm blush moved over her face. Giselle lifted her head up and a huge smile came along her lips as she looked at him. "I am hoping that we can go soon..." Her eyes shifted off to the side. "Well we will see. Unfortunately, I have duties around the castle."

Daniel nodded, "of course Princess, until next time," he said quietly. He stepped back, and allowed her to walk off. He then quietly made his way to the barracks

Giselle watched Daniel walk off before letting out a little sigh. It seemed like it was time for her to go back to work.

Daniel left the princess to it, heading back to the barracks, knowing his shift was over, and other guard would track her down to watch her. He headed to the barracks, to get some sleep.

It was two days later before Giselle got Daniel as a guard again. Though when she did, she was overly excited about it. She waited patiently for him to meet her in the dining room, where she was currently eating lunch.

Daniel was beginning to get bored with the usual guard duties. He was pleased to hear that he would be guarding Giselle the next day. He smiled as he headed into the dining room. "Afternoon Princess," he called as he entered the room, in his armor and uniform.

Giselle sat up a little straighter once Daniel walked into the room. She smiled over at him brightly. "Good Afternoon, Daniel," Giselle told him warmly. "It is nice to see you today. It has been a few days, hasn't it?"

Daniel nodded, "It has Giselle," he said softly. He walked closer to her, "how has your day been so far?" he asked curious. He wondered whether she would want to leave the castle again, or not.

"It has been good!" She said warmly to him. "Though it could also be better, and now that you are here, there is a chance for that." Giselle motioned for Daniel to come closer. "Strawberry?"

Daniel nodded and moved over towards her. "I suppose that is true," he admitted. He looked at her, "yes please," he said softly. He was curious what her plans to make the day better were.

Giselle lifted up the plate for Daniel to take a few strawberries before she set it back down onto the table. She then glanced at the doors for a moment before leaning in, whispering to Daniel. "I want you to teach me how to fight with a sword."

Daniel took a couple of strawberries. He watched her and paused for a moment, "I don't know that is such a great idea," he said lightly. He looked at her, "perhaps we start with a dagger," he suggested

Giselle glanced off to the side for a long moment before looking back at Daniel and giving him a small nod. "Very well, a dagger then." She started to smile at him. "So you agree then? You'll teach me?"

Daniel looked at her, and nodded, "can't have you not knowing the basics, if you are leaving the castle," he said softly. He moved closer, "we will move on to other things, if and when you are ready," he said,

Relief seemed to move over the princess' face when Daniel agreed to teach her. She was glad that he wasn't like the others. It didn't seem that Daniel was afraid of the possible trouble he might get into for not following the rules to perfection. "When can we start?"

Daniel smiled at her excitement, "I suppose when we find a private place to do it," he said softly. He moved across the room, "any ideas, Princess?" he asked

Giselle glanced down at her plate as Daniel asked for an idea of where they could go. She picked up one of her strawberries, eating it as she thought. "We could say that we're going horseback riding in the woods, down the trail? Then just steer off and pick a good place there?"

Daniel nodded softly, "that sounds like a plan, the issue is would we be able to go horse riding, with just me as your guard?" he asked her.

"I don't see why not," Giselle said after a moment. "The part of the forest we would go into is owned by us and not a lot of people go through it."

Daniel nodded, "okay, that sounds fine, I will organise to bring some training weapons," he said softly. He looked at her, "you will need some more appropriate clothes, than a dress," he said
