Without hesitation, Isabella slid her arm into his and headed back towards the parking lot. She felt safe with him around. "Thank you," The woman said softly as she climbed back onto his motorcycle and wrapped her arms around him once again. With ease, she was able to give him directions towards her apartment. Once they were there, Isabella gently squeezed him from behind before sliding off of the bike.

"Thank you so much again," Isabella said softly as she looked to him. She moved to take a step back before stopping and quickly going through her purse. A few seconds later, Isabella pulled out a business card and a pen. She wrote her cell phone number on the back. The front of the business card had her work number as she was a fashion designer. Isabella handed him the card. "i would really like to take you out to dinner sometime to thank you,"

Joel rode towards her place, being careful to make the ride smooth. He pulled up, and looked at her, once she climbed off. "It was no bother really," he said softly. He smiled taking her card carefully, "Well, I might take you up on that offer, Isabella, Once I'm back in town," he said lightly.

He tucked her card into his wallet carefully, before slipping it away. "I hope you feel better," he said lightly. He started up his bike and get prepared to leave.

"Thank you," Isabella said back, offering a little smile. She hesitated for a moment before stepping back. "Goodnight," With that, she turned and made her way to into her home. While this night had been frightening, she had been thankful that he was there to protect her, and help her out afterward.

Isabella hoped that she would see him again but she understood if he did not call her either.

Joel smiled softly, waited for her to head inside, before her rode off into the night. He made his way quickly out of town and onto the main road, before picking up speed, trying to get back on schedule.

He managed to make his delivery successfully without being disturbed. It would of been a couple of days later, that he had anytime to himself to think. He thumbed her card around in his hand thinking about calling

After a few days, Isabella's wound was beginning to clear up and the need for bandages was gone. Though, the girl was admittedly a little disappointed that her savior had not texted or called. But, what could she do about it? There was no way for her to contact him so there was no need to worry about it. However, knowing that did not quench her curiosity about the man.

Isabella was currently relaxing at home, watching some tv as she was cooking.

Joel sighed softly, having pondered away now for hours. He pulled out his cell phone, and tapped away at the keypad. He put her digits into his phone, paused for a second thinking whether he really wanted to do this, before hitting the button, hearing the phone ring out.

He hadn't even thought what he would say, when she picked up.

Isabella glanced down at her phone as it started to ring. She was quiet for a moment, deciding if she really wanted to answer the phone for an unknown caller. Though, with a little sigh, Isabella picked up the phone and answered it. "Hello, this is Isabella." She said warmly, waiting for the person on the other side to reveal themself.

Joel smiled softly when she answered. "Hey Isabelle it's Joel, I just wanted to call to check up on you," he said lightly.

He was sitting in his small room at the club, the small place that offered him any privacy.

Admittedly, Isabella was both excited and surprised when it was Joel on the other side. A large smile came over her face, hoping that Joel was going to accept the dinner invite she had given out to him.

"Hello," She said warmly. "I am doing better. It has been healing up well and the scar is almost gone as well. Thank you for checking in on me. How have you been doing?"

Joel smiled, glad that she sounded happy to hear from him. He sat in his sparse room, thinking for a moment, "I'm glad that you are doing well, I'm okay, just got back into town today," he lied.

He looked to see that his door was closed, and not merely ajar. "I was wondering whether you wanted to get coffee, or something," he asked.

"Well, welcome back. I hope your trip went well," A large smile moved over Isabella's face as Joel invited her to go get coffee with him. She really was excited to learn more about the man that saved her and this was the perfect opportunity. "Yes, I would like that," Isabella told him. "When were you thinking?"

Joel sat thinking for a moment, "well, I wasn't really too sure, when would suit you? I am free pretty much whenever," he said lightly. He played with the hem of his shirt, as he thought about her. She was a really beautiful woman, he was glad she wanted to spend some time with him.

For a moment, Isabella let out a small hum in thought. It wasn't like her schedule was crazy busy but she did need to be mindful of a few things. Plus, she didn't want to feel like she was rushing to or out of their time because of her schedule. "How about tomorrow afternoon? Or we could do later if that is better for you?"

Joel sat patiently, he found himself picturing her, in his mind. He confirmed, "yeah, tomorrow afternoon works perfectly for me, where were you thinking of meeting?" he asked quietly. He was beginning to look forward to seeing her again.

"How about the coffee club?" Isabella asked after a moment. She didn't know where Joel lived or anything but it wasn't too far away from where he had saved her. And she could only assume that Joel lived somewhere around there. Plus, it wasn't too far away from her home.

Joel nodded gently on the other end of the phone. "Ah yeah the coffee club works," he said lightly. It was a little bit of a distance from the club, but that was a good thing. He didn't want her to get caught up in his world.

"Great, I will see you tomorrow then," Isabella said a bright smile on her face. She was excited that she was going to meet him and learn more about the person who saved her. In the least, it was going to be her way to thank him as well.

Joel smiled softly, "yeah that sounds good, I'll see you around noon?" he suggested. He was excited to see her again, but was worried that she would get hurt, if she ended up pulled into his violent, and sporadic lifestyle. Once she confirmed the time, Joel bid her farewell, before hanging up his phone.

He then spent the night, thinking about what he'd tell her he did, and running through potential questions all night long.

Isabella got to the coffee shop a few minutes earlier before they had agreed to meet. She had just gotten so excited and didn't want to be late. So she headed inside and made her way to the line to order herself something to drink.

Joel woke the next morning, and went about his normal routine. He then made his way towards the coffee shop. When he reached it, he backed his bike into a park out front, and spent a moment to stash his jacket into it's compartment, before heading inside.

He was nervous, but he spotted her at a table waiting. He walked over tentatively, "Hey," he called.
