As she spotted Joel heading over to her, Isabella lifted her head up and smiled brightly. "Hi. I just got here a couple of minutes early." She said before lifting up her drink a little before taking a sip from it.

"Were you able to find the coffee shop easily?" Isabella asked warmly.

Joel smiled sweetly and walked over to the table. He looked around the place, it was nothing like his normal spots. He sat down at the table, "yes it wasn't too hard," he said lightly.
"You look well," he said softly, glad to see she was healing well.

Reaching up, Isabella touched her neck where her injury was. "Thank you," She said warmly with a large smile. "I was pretty lucky that you were there and that it didn't end up scarring." Isabella said before she dropped her hand back onto the table. "Did you want anything to drink? I would really like to pay for it, whatever you want."

Joel smiled sweetly watching as she reached up. He thought for a second, "yeah a coffee would be lovely, thank you," he said. He relaxed back into the seat, surprised at how at ease she put him.

He looked at her, "so what do you do for work Isabella?" he asked tentatively.

"I am a fashion designer," Isabella said softly, a warm smile on her lips after she spoke. It seemed that he never flipped to the other side of the business card she had given him. Though it didn't matter, Isabella was just glad that he called for now.

With that, she was on her feet. "I'll go get it then," She said warmly before moving to the counter to order and pay for Joel's coffee.

Joel smiled gently, "ah that is an interesting job, I bet," he said lightly. He sat back and nodded gently, "thank you," he said sweetly. He waited for her to return, before continuing their conversation.

"My life is a bit odd for most, I must admit, I do a number of things," he said lightly. "Delivery driving, or security work mostly," he said. It was true, but just not in the traditional sense.

"Oh, security work?" Isabella said, curiosity filling her. He did seem like a very interesting man so she wanted to know more. "Like security work for buildings or like a bodyguard?"

Joel watched her, trying to gauge her thoughts. He smiled softly, "a bit of both actually," he said softly. He sat back and sipped the coffee, "It is always an interesting day, meet interesting people," he added.

He looked back at her, his eyes scanning over her, she'd made an effort today. She looked good. "What do you do for fun?" he asked.

Isabella let out a small hum in response. "Well, it makes sense that you were able to handle the situation so quickly then." She told him as she referred to the night he saved her.

"For fun? I enjoy going out to the town, you know finding new bars and parties and events. Though I also enjoy going hiking and reading. How about you?" She asked as she took another sip of her coffee.

Joel smiled and nodded softly, "I'm glad I didn't have to resort to anything more drastic with that guy," he said lightly. He sat back sipping his coffee.

"oh, I'm about the same, enjoying going out, socialising, drinking," he said confirmed. He moved closer to the table.

Isabella nodded in agreement. She was also thankful that the situation didn't get worse than it already was. Her hands wrapped around the coffee in an attempt to warm up her cold fingers. "Oh? Where do you normally go out to?" Isabella was curious as to if they ever went to the same bars/clubs.

Joel smiled watching her. "oh usually the greasy wrench," he said lightly, "It's a pretty rough place," he said lightly. He looked her over, "what about you, what kind of places to you go to?" he asked

"I tend to go to the Silver Fox," Isabella responded. The Silver Fox was a good clubbing area for those who wanted to dance and drink. It wasn't too gritty either, which was nice. "I have never been to the Greasy Wrench, I heard it was a lot of fighting."

Joel nodded softly, "I've heard that place is nice, much nicer than the wrench," he admitted. "Yeah a lot of fighting when there isn't a stabbing," he added. His eyes watched over her, "but I can handle the place, know most of the guys there," he told her.

Isabella's eyes widen a bit when Joel mentioned people getting stabbed at the bar that he tended to visit. It was making more and more sense why he didn't seemed worried for a moment when he protected her. "Oh stabbing? It is good that you do not get hurt then. You must be very confident in your abilities to protect yourself then."

Joel nodded lightly, "yeah it is a bit of that, but it's more that I know most of the guys, and we get along," he said. His eyes looked over her again, lingering for a moment on her cleavage. He sat back, "when I'm out drinking or at work, I like to go for rides, the ride out to the lake is nice," he said added.

"Oh," Isabella said softly before she gave him a little nod. She was surprised to hear that as it didn't sound that safe even with knowing and getting along with most of the guys. But Isabella supposed that she didn't know them or that place well at all. "It must be nice to ride around on your motorcycle." Isabella told him with a smile.

Joel nodded, "oh it is amazing, and so freeing," he admitted. He sipped his coffee, "and the free air is good for me," he added. He paused thinking for a moment, "would you want to come with me, on a trip one time?" he asked

"Yes, I would love that," Isabella had already been on his motorcycle once and found it very enjoyable. Though to actually go on a proper ride sounded great.

Joel grinned, almost to enthusiastically, "cool, we will have to try and organise a time that suits us both then," he said lightly. He sat back, looking over her again, she really was nice to look at, different from the women who usually hung out around the club. She seemed so much more genuine, and happy.
