Misa sighed as she looked at the new house that she would now live in. Her parents had gotten a divorce, after her dad found out that her mom was cheating on him with another man. Sometime after the divorce, Misa’s mother told her that they were moving in with her new boyfriend and his son.

Misa headed inside, seeing her mother and her boyfriend unpacking boxes in the living room. Not only did she move across town, she had to switch schools. She missed her friends, but she figured she could use a fresh start.

The next day was her first day of school. She was hoping to make new friends. The rest of the night was spent fixing her room and then getting to bed on time.

The following morning, Misa woke up when her alarm went off. She showered, got dressed in her school uniform, and fixed her hair and makeup. She grabbed her bag and headed out the door, not even bothering to wait for her mom’s boyfriend’s son, who offered to drive her the night before.

She wanted to walk, it wasn’t that far anyway. It gave her time to think about the new possibilities that would be before her soon.

She arrived to the school and sighed as she headed inside. “Now...where’s the office?” She said to herself, as she looked around.

(I figured she could befriend the boys at her new school instead of already knowing them)

Shinwoo sighed as he looked at his alarm clock. It was time to get up and go to school. The only good thing he liked about the place are his friends and the music program. Other than that, the school pretty much sucks. The principle is a disgusting pig and some of the teachers are no better. There are some good teachers so that’s one more plus but everything else pretty much sucks. He rolled out of bed before shuffling to the bathroom to take a quick shower before getting dressed then walking out the front door with a piece of toast in his mouth and his bag.

It wasn’t that long of a walk to school. When he got there, he was so preoccupied with finding his friends before class started that he wasn’t paying attention to anything else besides the time. He bumped straight into a person, knocking them to the ground.

Misa hadn’t gotten far before someone bumped into her and knocked her down. She quickly composed herself, turning around and expecting to see a girl but instead she saw a tall guy, his medium length brown hair rested on his shoulders and he wore a pair of glasses.

Even though he bumped into her, she felt the need to apologize. “I’m sorry.” She said, as she pulled herself up.

‘Why are you apologizing to me? I knocked you down. That’s completely my fault. I wasn’t paying attention to anything but finding my friends and finding them before the first bell rings. So I’m sorry for knocking you down like that. That was rude. I’m Shinwoo.’

Misa smiled. “Misa.” She said, shaking his hand. “Oh, could you help me out? I’m actually new and I have no idea where the office is...so I could get my schedule and locker combination.” She asked, tucking some hair behind her ear. “If you’re not to busy, I know you said you wanted to find your friends..”

‘I guess since I knocked you down, I owe you. I’ll see them at lunch. Let’s go to the office and get that schedule and locker combination,’ he smiled at her before leading her off down the hallways. Wow she’s hot. Really hot. Good thing she was behind him so she couldn’t see his blushing cheeks.

Misa smiled. “Thank you.” She said as she walked with him. They were almost to the office when Misa heard some very loud voices coming down the hallway.

“Shinwoo hyung!” Sandeul ran over, hiding behind the taller. “Gongchan is trying to hit me.”

“Hyung, he stole my PSP out of my bag, I just want to search his bag.” Gongchan said, reaching for Sandeul, who was still trying to dodge the younger.

Shinwoo sighed, ‘these are my friends. The ones I was looking for. Please save me,’ he begged her, ‘I change my mind about wanting to find them. It’s too early to deal with the psp drama.’

Sandeul and Gongchan stopped running when they noticed Misa. “Oh, hyung, you didn’t tell us you met a girl.” Sandeul said.

Misa smiled, “I’m Misa. I’m new.”

“I’m Sandeul, the cute one, and this is Gongchan, the not so cute one.” Sandeul teased.

Misa giggled, “you’re both pretty cute.”

Jinyoung and Baro snickered as they walked over. “Come on Sandeul, Channie, let’s leave Shinwoo hyung alone.” Jinyoung said. “See you at lunch, hyung.” He said as he and Baro led the two away

‘Thankyou Jinyoung for saving me from that psp drama this early in the morning. I didn’t sleep much last night because my neighbor was being an asshole again,’ he told him before they disappeared.

‘Sorry about that. Those two are drama queens. The first ones you met.’

“Your friends seem nice and they remind me of my old friends at my old high school.” Misa smiled as she walked with him inside the office. “Thank you again, Shinwoo.” She bowed slightly.

‘It was my pleasure Miss. If you want to, you can come sit with me and my friends at lunch. Only if you want to. Don’t feel obligated because I helped you,’ he smiled, ‘if you decide to, we around the old oak outside. We’ll see you around Miss,’ he told her, smiling before he left.

Misa nodded before watching Shinwoo walk off. She turned and got her schedule and locker combination and as she walked out of the office, she saw her step brother. She tried to duck around the corner but he had already spotted her.

He walked over, ‘hey Misa. I offered to give you a ride to school today. Why did you leave early? And who the hell were those guys?’

“I wanted to walk. It wasn’t that far from the house and I just met them...one of them ran into me and then i asked if he could show me the office and he did.” Misa sighed.

‘I told you I would drive you to school. It may not be a far distance from our house to the school but a lot of things could happen and I don’t want you to hang around those guys. Stay away from them Misa.’

“I can hang out with whoever I want.” Misa made a face. “Whatever, I gotta find my locker.” She pushed past her step brother before going down the hall. Who the hell does he think he is?! she thought to herself.

He chased after her, grabbing her wrist hard, ‘do not make me repeat myself Misa. Do not hang out with them. If I catch you with them, it won’t be fun for you or them.’

“Don’t threaten me.” Misa pulled her wrist away before walking away from her step brother. She finally found her locker and began working on getting the combination right.
