Jaelynn smiled and giggled, not caring that her boss or co-workers were looking at her. When he put her down, she smiled and looked at his hair. "Babe you need a haircut like bad. How about after lunch, I'll clean you up." She said and kissed his cheek before putting the broom and dust pan that she had out away and went to clock out for her lunch break.

He pouted, ‘what’s wrong with my hair? You don’t like it,’ he used his puppy dog sad eyes on her and stuck his lower lip out. His bangs fell forward to cover his eyes and he cussed, brushing them out of his face, ‘okay yeah hair cut please.’

Jaelynn giggled and kissed his lips once more. She ignored all the glares she was getting from her co-workers. Jaelynn knew that they didnt think that she was pretty or good enough for Matthew. She had also seen them try to flirt with him when they thought she wasnt looking, but she knew to trust Matthew because he treats her like a queen. And because he was here in front of her and that this was her last week at her job, she just completely ignored her coworkers. "Okay, I'm ready to go out for lunch." She said and held his hand when she returned from clicking out for her lunch.

Matthew didn’t like the looks she got from her clients and co-workers. He wanted to say something so bad but he saw the look Jaelynn gave him so he bit his tongue and followed her out of the store and toward her car, ‘when you quit, I’m going to let them have it. It’s not right the way they treat you. I don’t like it. It really bothers me.’

Jaelynn wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him. "I know, I dont either but I just ignore them, because I know I'll always have you." She said and quickly pressed her lips to his before reaching out to hold his hand. "Let's get something to eat."

Matthew was about to walk to her car with her when he heard someone call his name. He turned and saw a woman that Jaelynn works with, ‘uh Matthew. You don’t remember me?’

‘No should I?’

‘I certainly remember you,’ she winked.

‘What the hell are you talking about?’

Jaelynn rolled her eyes as she heard her co-worker Melissa trying to make it seem like her and Matthew had hooked up before. "Just ignore her babe. I know exactly what she is trying to do." She said to him

Matthew looked at her and pretended he couldn’t speak English by completely speaking in Korean until she got annoyed and stomped away because she couldn’t understand a word he said, ‘thank goodness she couldn’t speak Korean.’

Jaelynn giggled. "They hate it when I speak in Korean with some of my clients." She said with a smile and lead Matthew to their favorite bistro restaurant. They sat down at their usual spot and ordered their usual meals. "I'm so glad to have you here with me, when you came into the salon, it made me realize that I missed you more than I thought."

‘Well yeah because I’m me and who wouldn’t miss me. I mean hello, have you met me? I’m freaking awesome,’ he laughed when she hit his chest, ‘I’m kidding. I missed you so much too baby. I talked about you so much to the group, they told me to shut up and just marry you.’

Jaelynn blushed at his words. The two of them had been dating for four years and had been friends since they were kids. Jaelynn always thought about what it would be like if they got married and had kids later on. She didnt see herself with anyone else but with Matthew. "You're so sweet and cute."

‘So I decided to listen to them,’ he blushed shyly as he pulled a ring box out of his pocket and got down on one knee to the side of her, since they were sitting in a booth, ‘Jaelynn will you make me the happiest man on earth and do me the greatest honor of my life by marrying me?’

Jaelynn blushed, but nodded as happy tears streamed down her cheeks. "YES. One hundred percent." She said as she put her hand in his as he slipped the beautiful ring on her finger. "I'm the most luckiest girl in the world to have a wonderful man in her life."

He smiled as he stood and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Applause erupted all around them from the people in the diner who saw the proposal. The waitress waited for them to break apart before she spoke, ‘hey your meal is on us today and we’re giving you a desert as well.’

Jaelynn blushed but nodded. "Thank you so much." She said before looking at Matthew, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world to be engaged. "I love you. " she said softly.

‘I love you too baby. I will always love you,’ he told her before kissing her sweetly. People in the little dinner awed before he broke the kiss and sat back down with her, with the biggest smile on his face.

Jaelynn smiled and blushed. "So I already gave my boss my resigning letter, but I rather spend the rest of the week with you and finish packing my things. So after lunch I'm going to quit." She said. "What do you think?"

‘I think that’s a great idea. I would love to have you all to myself for a week,’ he smiled as the waitress brought their food over and laid it down in front of them.

‘Would you two like the desert with your meal or after?’

"After sounds great, than you." Jaelynn said to the waitress. She looked back at Matthew and bit her bottom lip. "Now that we are engage, do you think your label will let us get our own place together in Seoul? Do we have to hide our relationship from the public?" Although she was excited to move to Korea, she was still nervous.

‘My label will not break us up and we are getting our own place if that’s what you want and I would never hide you from the public. Don’t be nervous baby,’ he told her as he took her hands and interlaced their fingers together.
