    Mooni

Ten minutes with this girl, and she was already dragging Mooni far from her shell. Coming out onto the dance floor had already been more than Mooni was able to do for herself in ages. Now, Mina was suggesting a show, and the thing was, Mooni thought it was a great idea. Not only for the fact that she'd made eye contact with a bewildered Jungkook, but it would be the perfect moment to prove to her older brother that she wasn't a little girl any more. She could make decisions and mistakes for herself, and didn't always need his protectiveness.

Grabbing Mina's waist, she pulled her new friend close so that that they were literally attached at the hips. At first, Mooni moved so that the two girls swayed together to the music, which had become more sensual than the upbeat music that blasted through the speakers just moments before. Completely trashed at this point, senses nowhere to be found, Mooni decided to go all in.

She wasn't exactly sure why she decided to; to get her overbearing brother to back off, to maybe make Jungkook see her as more than his best friends little sister, or perhaps it was even for herself, to try something new. After pushing Mina's long hair back out of her face, Mooni propelled herself forward and locked lips with the girl. She wasn't sure what Mina had meant by giving them a show, and while it would be quite embarrassing if she had been wrong, she didn't care in that moment.
    Jimin

"Uh oh," Hoseok mumbled as Jimin stared at what was happening in front of them with wide eyes. It took a moment to register what was unfolding in front of his eyes, but once he realized what was going on, he immediately looked away out of fear of being scolded by Taehyung. First of all, he never, ever, not in a million years, wanted to see Mooni in that way, and he was afraid that vision would haunt him for the rest of his life.

"Damn, Taehyung, when did your sister get kind of hot," Yoongi questioned, earning glares from nearly everybody around the room.

"God dammit Mooni, what the hell are you doing?" Taehyung nearly screeched as he shot up from his place in the booth, probably ready to drag his younger sister out of the club and take her home. Jimin could only imagine the lecture she was going to get for the rest of her life. All visions of Mooni aside, Jimin couldn't seem to get Mina out of his mind. Seeing her like that was...kind of hot.

It's the alcohol, he quickly reminded himself. He still hadn't gotten a chance to talk to her, and he didn't need another reason to feed his nerves before they did so.

"I need another drink," Jimin grumbled, reaching towards the center of the table.

"I guess I'm going to get a couple more rounds ordered," Hoseok insisted, looking over at Jungkook and waiting for him to move out of the way.

    Jungkook

Jungkook certainly would have spit his drink out if there had been any in his mouth, seeing Mooni and Mina making a scene on the dance floor. He couldn’t stop staring, not until Taehyung’s screeching forced him to. He couldn’t help but laugh, snorting and quickly looking away. While still in shock, the way Taehyung had reacted was just hilarious to him. When Hoseok made a move to get up, he slid out of the booth to let him out. He watched as Taehyung marched over, scolding Mooni and grabbing her hand.

Jungkook wished he could go over and intervene, to tell Taehyung to calm down and that it had just been them simply playing around, he knew if he even attempted something like that, he’d probably end up with a black eye. He was already on thin ice, and Taehyung didn’t look like he was messing around. He looked pretty serious about the whole situation, actually. Jungkook just couldn’t get the image of Mooni dancing the way she had been, and then kissing Mina. It was hot, and it definitely choked him up a bit.

“I’m gonna go get some water,” he said, making his way to the bar to get himself a glass of ice water. He felt like he would definitely need a cold shower before the night was over at the rate things were going right now.
    Mina

Mina let out a small noise of surprised when Mooni kissed her, but didn’t hesitate to kiss her back. She would be lying if she said the other girl wasn’t a good kisser, and honestly it had been so long since she’d kissed anyone that it actually felt pretty nice. That was until Taehyung separated the two of them. She frowned, knowing their fun had probably come to an end. “Taehyung, we were just having fun,” she insisted. “It was innocent.”

“Innocent?” Taehyung questioned, raising his brows in concern. “Look at all the gross men in here. They could try something.”

“She’s not a baby, she can handle herself,” Mina insisted. She was ready to go off on Taehyung for being overbearing on his sister, but she knew inserting herself into the situation after having just come back into their lives wouldn’t be the best idea. So instead she shot Mooni an apologetic look before she walked back to the booth. She slid into the booth where Hoseok had once been sitting, across from Yoongi. She reached for a shot, downing it before she even said a word to either of them.

She set the glass back down on the table and looked over at Jimin. “I’m sorry,” she said after a long moment of just looking at him.

    Mooni

"What the hell Mooni?" Taehyung questioned demandingly once they emerged into the hall that led to the bathrooms, quickly causing Mooni to sober up. "What were you thinking?"

"That I wanted to let loose a little bit," Mooni shoved Taehyung's hand away, forcing him to release his clutch, "I'm not a little girl anymore, Tae, you need to stop treating me like one."

"You need to stop acting like one," her older brother scolded, causing Mooni to roll her eyes.

"I'm not acting like a kid. I'm acting like a woman who just became an adult and wants to have a little fun. I work hard at school. I don't go out. I get good grades. I'm a good daughter. I just want to live a little bit. You need to pull back on that overbearing attitude you have and give me just a little space," she pled with her older brother, finally putting her foot down on how he'd been acting.

"I'm just trying to protect you," Taehyung had seemed taken aback by her outburst, making Mooni feel kind of bad. Perhaps the night truly was over for her.

"Can you just give me the key to your apartment. I want to go to bed," she mumbled, stretching her hand out and waiting for the small piece of metal.

"How are you going to get there?" Taehyung interrogated, "You're not fucking driving."

"Jungkook said he'd be the DD, I'll just have him drop me off," Mooni shrugged. She'd walk home at this point if that meant she'd get some fresh air.

"I don't want you alone with him," Taehyung clenched his jaw.

"Why not? Besides you, there's nobody else I'm more safe with," Mooni protested, now becoming childlike. Grumbling, Taehyung slapped his key ring into Mooni's hand, and she wandered off to collect her jacket and purse before finding Jungkook at the bar and slightly pulling on his shirt to grab his attention. "Take me home."
    Jimin

"I...I'm not sure what to say," Jimin admitted as Mina sat in front of him. Truth be told, there was a lot he wanted to say, just not under the scrutiny of his friends. Especially not with Yoongi around. Looking over at his hyung, he found Yoongi with his head lulled back, small snores escaping him. "Aish." Looking around, he saw Jungkook standing at the bar with Mooni, Jin was still on the dance floor with Lia, obviously out of breath by now. Namjoon was nowhere to be found, meaning he was probably still in the bathroom with that chick. Hoseok was chatting away with another group he'd probably just met instead of ordering another round as he promised. Taehyung was probably losing his mind because of his sister - all successfully leaving Jimin alone with Mina.

He couldn't complain too harshly, he'd been waiting for this moment nearly all night, but after that display with Mooni on the floor, he wasn't sure how to look her in the eyes. Her simple apology, though, meant more to him than he could have explained. Instead of just letting her know that he forgave her, he shrugged it off as if he were never mad in the first place.

"It's not like we were together, or that you owed me any sort of explanation, even though one would have been nice," Jimin quickly grabbed the last drink from the center of the table, making sure to nurse this one, "Sometimes, I even tried to tell myself that you didn't even have a choice." Maybe now he would get the explanation he'd been yearning for this entire time, and they could continue their friendship. But after the display that happened just moments ago, and the alcohol running through his veins, he wondered if he'd wanted more than that.

    Jungkook

Jungkook looked up from his glass of water when he felt someone tugging on his shirt. He looked down at Mooni, his brows furrowing. “You want to go home?” he questioned. He looked around for Taehyung, but couldn’t spot him anywhere. He assumed they probably got into it after he went to pull her off the dance floor. “Okay.” He hesitated for a moment before he reached down to take her hand in his. His heart fluttered in his chest and his stomach flipped, and he had to quickly look down to hide his blush as he turned and led her out of the bar. Taehyung could pay for their drinks.

He pulled her out to the car, letting go of her hand once they’d left the building. “Uh, sorry, I just didn’t want to lose you in the crowd,” he mumbled. He quickly turned and walked to get in the car, shaking his head at how awkward he was. Dammit. Get your shit together. He started the car and turned the music down, biting his lip as he stared out of the window, thinking to himself. He knew she was in a sour mood, and he didn’t feel right to take her home and let her just wallow in her bad mood. “Do you maybe, uh, wanna go get a milkshake or something?”

He looked over at her, thinking that this could finally be a moment for them to be alone without Taehyung looming over them. What would even happen, though? They’d get a milkshake, make awkward small talk, and then he’d take her home and what? Walk her to her door and say goodnight? He doubted he’d have the balls to kiss her. He could barely even talk to her without stuttering and blushing like an idiot. He honestly didn’t know when things had gotten this bad for him. He used to be able to talk to her just fine, but ever since Taehyung had caught onto his feelings a little bit, he’d felt so awkward and uncomfortable around the two of them, that now he was just a blundering mess.
    Mina

Mina was relieved when Jimin didn’t immediately give her the third degree, yelling at her for leaving without a word. But at the same time, it almost hurt at how easily he seemed to just handle the whole situation. How little he seemed to care. At least, that’s how it came off to her. “I didn’t have a choice,” she said finally. “You know how my parents were. All they cared about was how good we were in school, how successful we would be in the future.” She looked down at her hands as the memories played back in her mind like an old home video. “They forced me to transfer to a new school because of some stupid scholarship. I didn’t even have time to tell anyone. I only found out a week before they told me I was leaving. I didn’t know how to say goodbye. I guess I just didn’t want to deal with the thought of losing you, and instead, I avoided it altogether.”

She found it hard to look up at him, not wanting to meet his eyes, to feel his disappointment with her. She was so used to disappointing everyone around her now that she just assumed everyone would automatically be disappointed at her, no matter what. Her parents had conditioned both her and her sister to feel that way. But Lia had had the guts to say no to their parents, and to leave. Mina, however, hadn’t. She finally allowed herself to look at him, guilt consuming her. She couldn’t believe that, sitting here now, feeling so entirely distant from this person sitting in front of her, they used to be so close. So in sync with each other. She felt like she didn’t even know him anymore, but maybe that was because she didn’t even know herself anymore.

“It doesn’t matter now, though,” she said. “I did what I did, and I can’t change it.” She cleared her throat, her eyes burning with tears. She quickly blinked them away, letting out a breath. “I think I should probably find Lia and get us a cab home. I didn’t want to ruin your night.”

    Mooni

"I'm not really in the mood to go out anywhere else," Mooni admitted apologetically. She wanted more than anything to be able to go out and enjoy a milkshake with Jungkook, but was scared she'd drag the mood down. If only there was a way she could spend time with where she didn't really have to talk. "But I'll probably just end up watching a movie at Taehyung's. You're always welcome to join...and we have ice cream." Mooni had been surprised by her own boldness; never in a million years did she think she'd strike up the courage to ask him to hang out alone, and in private.

Even if he declined, he'd still asked her out, and even if it wasn't a date, she felt over the moon. Hopefully, Taehyung would decide to stay out with the rest of his friends instead of coming home like Mooni had decided to. It wasn't only that she didn't want him walking into her hanging out with Jungkook - even though that definitely played a huge role - but even though she was pissed off at Taehyung, she still wanted him to have fun. Truth be told, she felt a little guilty about throwing a temper tantrum when he was just trying to stop her from doing something stupid.

That's when the weight of what she'd done truly impacted her. With her face growing hot, and probably as red as a tomato, Mooni's head dropped into her hands in embarrassment. Everybody had seen that display on the dance floor, making out with some girl she'd just met - not only did her brother see, but he probably had to listen to any of the remarks his friends made. "Ugh, I'm such an idiot," she groaned to herself, with her head still hung low as she wrapped her jacket tighter around her body. Compared to the heat inside the club, the outside had been much more brisk, but the promise of changing into her sweats was promising.
    Jimin

"Don't be so dramatic," Jimin grumbled, "You're back now, and your sister is having fun, so just stay. If you're really sorry, then prove it, and stop running." Jimin didn't know why he challenged Mina in such a way, but he could tell she was having an internal pity party, and he knew how much that sucked. It felt lonely, no matter how many people you were around, and he didn't want that for her. Plus, what would either of them gain by continuing to push each other away?

He knew this would happen, too. The moment she said anything to him, all his feelings of resentment melted away. Still, that didn't change the fact that Mina was essentially a stranger to him now, and he'd have to get to know her all over again. "You know, your mom always kind of scared the shit at me with that look she always gave me, as if I were a delinquent that wanted to corrupt you," Jimin managed to get out a laugh at the memory. As a matter of fact, Mina's story didn't seem so far fetched, and although if it were him, he'd have said his goodbyes, he could completely understand why she didn't want to. Not because she didn't care, but it was too hard to leave everything and everybody you know.

    Jimin got that.

"I guess in the end it all worked out. You have a job, you're back here in Korea. And none of us hates you, Mina," Jimin explained to her, annoyed to see his drink had been finished, "I'm going to go get a new round since Hobi failed to do his job. Any requests?"

    Jungkook

Jungkook didn’t even need to think it over. Of course he wanted to go back and spend time with her alone. If he had the opportunity, of course he was going to take it. And he understood why she didn’t want to go out anywhere else. If he’d been in the situation she had been in with his own sibling, he probably wouldn’t be in the mood to do anything else either. “Yeah, sure,” he said, offering her a small smile. He drove to Taehyung’s place, the roads eerily empty. It was late, though, and the town had been put under a curfew, so there were no idiot teenagers running around. At least, not in this area. He knew he and his group of friends would be exactly those idiot teenagers that would sneak out after curfew and run around doing dumb shit.

He frowned when suddenly her mood changed and she called herself an idiot, glancing over at her and then back at the road. What would he say to her? He was afraid that anything he said probably wouldn’t make her feel much better. And she probably wouldn’t care about what he had to say anyway, if she’d already made her mind up on the way she felt. “Uh, I don’t think you’re an idiot,” he said after a moment of silence. “I-I mean you were having fun, right? And if anyone had something to say about it, then that’s their fault.”

While he understood where Taehyung was coming from in being so upset, that was his little sister, someone he probably still saw as innocent and could do no wrong, he also thought that maybe he should lighten up a little. After all, Mooni finally was an adult now, and she could take care of herself. And she deserved to let go and have some fun. It wasn’t like she was a problem child or something. “Taehyung just needs some time, I think. He’ll get over it. He cares about you too much to stay angry.” He knew that in the end, Taehyung would rather get over his anger than end up losing his sister.
    Mina

Mina managed a small laugh at Jimin’s comment about her mom. He was right. Her parents had never liked her hanging around Jimin and his other friends because they were a “bad influence” on her. But that didn’t stop her. She smiled when he said that nobody hated her, feeling relieved. That had probably been her biggest fear, that she would come home and everyone would shun her. “Yeah,” she said at the mention of more drinks. “I’ll just have whatever you’re having.” She wasn’t picky about her alcohol. It all had the same effect.

She looked up as Lia sauntered over to the booth, Jin in tow. The poor boy was sweaty, out of breath and looked absolutely exhausted. Lia waited for Jimin to get up before she slid into the booth, dragging Jin in with her. As Mina watched the two of them talk, it all started making sense. The only reason Jin was allowing Lia to drag him around was so that he could get laid. Because there was no way in hell that he would just allow Lia to do whatever she wanted with him. “You know, you can just take her to the bathroom and bend her over the sink,” Mina said, her inhibition completely gone at this point. “She’s not picky, she doesn’t need a bed.”

Lia’s jaw dropped slightly and she glared at her sister. “Mina, what the hell,” she hissed.

“What? I’m just saving him the trouble,” Mina said with a shrug. “He clearly just wants in your pants. Why else would he be here?”

Lia let out an exasperated groan, turning to Jin. “Let me out,” she snapped.

Jin looked at Lia, then to Mina, and back at Lia before moving out of the booth so she could get out. “Lia, I-” Before he could even finish his sentence, she’d grabbed his hand and dragged him away from the booth.

Mina burst out into a fit of laughter, covering her mouth when she snorted. There was nothing like seeing her sister pissed off. She was actually feeling glad now that she had come, because she felt a lot more comfortable in her situation now after talking to Jimin.

    Mooni

"I just feel like I'm ready to grow up, but he's so attached to the idea that I'm his little sister," she understood where Taehyung was coming from, and why he felt the way he probably did, but sometimes he acted as bad as a helicopter mom, and that's what Mooni wasn't okay with, "that's all I'll ever be to you guys, is Taehyung's little sister." Of course, there were worse problems to have other than a family that loved her a lot, but sometimes the frustration became overwhelming. She could do what she wanted without being guarded, and she couldn't like who she wanted; the number one reason she'd never confessed to Jungkook. But for the first time in a while, she was able to spend time with him alone, and she didn't want to be haunted by the shitty mood her brother had put her in.

When Jungkook had found a parking spot, Mooni hopped out of the car, and made her way up the stairs with the gracefulness of a baby deer. She didn't pay attention to whether or not Jungkook had followed her as she fumbled through Taehyung's key ring, trying to find the one that would unlock the door. While being lectured had definitely helped sober her up, that didn't take away all the effects the alcohol had on her body. She could only imagine how much of a fool she was making of herself right now. Right in front of the guy she'd always been head over heels for.

When she finally got the front door open, she suddenly grew very self-aware. After inviting him to watch a movie with her, he hadn't seemed to excited by the idea. In fact, he probably only agreed to keep a watch on her to make sure she wouldn't come home and do anything stupid. Just wanting to spend time with her - that was too good to be true. "You don't have to stay if you don't want to. I'll probably be putting on a chick flick anyways," she declared at the doorway before either her or Jungkook had even taken a step inside. She hated how depressing she sounded at that moment, but the self-consciousness had temporarily overcame her.
    Jimin

Jimin watched Mina from the bar as he waited for the occupied bartender to get to him, so he could place his order for another round. She didn't spend a lot of time sitting there alone, not until Lia dragged Jin to sit opposite to her, a sleeping Yoongi still in the corner. Jimin had to stifle a laugh at his hyung, who could easily sleep anywhere, no matter how uncomfortable and loud. Jimin almost admired him for such a skill.

Almost as quickly as Lia and Jin sat down, however, they got back up, and offended look plastered on Lia's face. Jimin had first hand experience with Lia's fragile ego, but more than that, Mina had just always loved to fuck with her sister. "What can I get ya?" The bartender asked from behind Jimin, who turned around and placed his order, pointing over towards the booth they sat at.

"Do you think she hates me?" Taehyung's voice emerged from behind Jimin as he started walking back towards the booth, where Mina waited. Taehyung dragging his sister off the dance floor replayed through Jimin's head, causing him to shrug. It wasn't his business and he really didn't want to be involved in any way. Plus, she'd left, Taehyung didn't need to worry about her.

"Come back to the table and drink with us, Tae," Jimin urged, "Let loose, have some fun. Mina and I were just catching up." He sat Taehyung down in his old spot, and Jimin slid into the booth next to Mina. Suddenly, he was very aware that this was the closest he'd been to her in years.

"Mina," Taehyung nodded towards her, "How've you been?"

    Jungkook

Jungkook frowned at Mooni’s words, hating hearing her talk so lowly of herself. None of it was true. Sure, she was Taehyung’s little sister, but he knew they all saw her as more than just his sister. She was her own person, and they all cared about her just as much as they cared about Taehyung. He knew if she was ever in a shitty situation, they would all offer their help to her, just as they would her brother. When she got out of the car without another word and began stumbling to the front door, he quickly jumped out and followed her, afraid she’d end up falling and hurting herself. When she told him he didn’t have to stay, he felt almost as if maybe she didn’t want him to. Maybe this was just a bad idea altogether.

But he was afraid that if he didn’t stay, she’d end up passing out and choking on her own vomit, or something dumb like that. He shook his head. “No, I want to stay,” he insisted. “I was the one who asked you to come out with me.” When he saw her begin to waver in her footing, he reached out and gently placed a hand on her arm to hold her still. “Come on, let’s go inside and get you settled in.”

He took the key from her and led her inside, shutting the door behind himself and locking it. Taehyung would just have to call when he was on his way home to be let in. There was no way Jungkook was going to leave the door unlocked with a crazed killer on the loose. He turned and took her hand, leading her over to the couch and sitting her down on it. “Do you have pajamas or something I can get for you?” he asked.
    Mina

Mina was surprised when Taehyung joined them at the booth, assuming he’d been off sulking somewhere by himself. “Taehyung,” she greeted. “I’ve been doing okay.” She glanced over at Jimin before looking back at Taehyung. “I know I’ve been away for a long time, and it’s not my place to say anything, but take it from someone who has sibling issues as well; you should probably ease up on Mooni a little. I understand why you’re so protective of her, but the last thing you want is to push her so far away that she ends up resenting you. Trust me, I know what it feels like, and it’s not a good feeling.” She hoped she wasn’t overstepping her boundaries by giving him this kind of advice, but she felt like it was something that he needed to hear, and if he got angry at her for it, then so be it. She wished she could say the same thing to her own sister.

They hadn’t always been like this. When they were little, they’d been the best of friends, but something in her sister had changed, and she’d turned into a complete and utter bitch. Maybe it had been puberty, or the friends she’d made back then. Either way, Mina felt as if she no longer had a true sister, just someone she was related to by blood, someone that she tolerated. And she would hate to see something similar happen to Taehyung and Mooni.

After she finished speaking, her mind shifted elsewhere, though, as she could feel the heat radiating off of Jimin’s body, beside her. He was so close to her, and all she wanted to do was reach out and grab his hand and tell him all the ridiculous things that had happened to her while she was away, and laugh just like old times. But it wasn’t so simple anymore. She looked up at him, admiring all the features of his face. His previously chubby cheeks were no longer as chubby as they used to be. He really looked tired, like he’d been stressed out for a long time, and hadn’t gotten a break. His eyes were puffier than she remembered, and they had slight dark circles under them. He was still gorgeous, though, just as he’d always been, especially when he smiled. She’d missed seeing his smile. It was one of the things she loved most about him.

    Mooni

Mooni's heart raced when Jungkook insisted that he wanted to stay. Even if it was just to make sure she was okay, she became so giddy that she'd be able to hang out with somebody - Jungkook, of all people - without being supervised. Now, here they were, all alone, and Mooni didn't even know how to act. Luckily, once the movie started, that would give her a reason to save some dignity and just not talk.

"All my stuff is in the guest room," Mooni explained, ready to get out of her jeans, "Can you just grab something that looks comfortable." After Jungkook walked off, Mooni laid across the couch and looked up at the ceiling, wishing the fan would turn itself on. Fortunately for her, Mooni wasn't the kind of drunk where the room started spinning, or where she even felt nauseous. On the other end of things, however, she always got outrageously hot, and it didn't help that Taehyung kept his apartment at the brisk temperature of, what, a thousand degrees?

For a moment, Mooni completely forgot that Jungkook was still in the apartment, rummaging around her room to get her something comfortable to change into, so she removed her sweater and discarded her jeans before plopping back down on the couch. By now, she'd usually be tired, but that milkshake was starting to sound really good, reminding her that there was ice-cream in the freezer. The thought propelled her from the couch, towards the kitchen, thrilled by the chilled air that came from the icebox.
    Jimin

Jimin pursed his lips at Mina's words. While she wasn't necessarily wrong, Jimin wasn't sure about how Taehyung would react at the unsolicited advice. At this moment, Jimin was sure that Taehyung probably didn't even want to talk about it. So, Jimin did what he did best when he personally felt uncomfortable, and changed the topic. "So, Mina, you said your job sent you here. What do you do now?" Jimin was curious either way, but by the look on Taehyung's face, he was clearly agitated.

The table's tray of drinks finally arrived, the waitress setting it down on the center of the table, and walked away after Jimin tipped her. The first thing he did was take one of the full glasses and place it directly in front of his bothered friend. Everybody knew that Taehyung wasn't fond of the taste of alcohol, but right now, he could really use the drink, and Jimin could tell. Perhaps if they could get him to take the edge off, just for a little bit, he could at least have fun.

"Yes, Mina, what do you do now?" Taehyung questioned, taking a reserved sip of the golden liquid in his glass, "Did the protectiveness of your parents, and their insistence that you do well for yourself end up working out for you?" Jimin rolled his eyes at Taehyung's passive aggressive question, and was ready to shut it down.

"Not tonight, Tae. Please. You all drug me out here to have a good time, so have a good damn time. Mina, we have a lot of catching up, so talk to me."

    Jungkook

Jungkook nodded his head and headed down the hall to the guest room, opening the door and slipping inside. He felt awkward just going through her stuff to find her something to wear, but she didn’t seem to have a problem with it, so he told himself that it was okay. He pulled open one of the drawers of the dresser, letting out a sigh of relief when he saw clothes inside instead of what he’d been hoping wasn’t in there: underwear. He grabbed out a pair of what looked like pajama shorts to him, digging around a bit before finding the matching top.

He shut the dresser and walked back into the living room, his brows furrowing when he didn’t see Mooni sitting on the couch anymore. He figured maybe she went to the bathroom, so he sat the pajamas down on the coffee table. He got ready to sit down and wait for her to return when he heard shuffling coming from the kitchen. “Mooni?” he called out, walking in the direction of the kitchen. He stopped dead in his tracks when his eyes landed on her, standing in the middle of the kitchen without any pants on.

He froze for a moment and just stood there, staring at her, until it finally hit him and he quickly let out a yelp of surprise, turning around and covering his eyes. “Ah,” he hissed under his breath. Taehyung was definitely going to kill him now if he found out he’d seen his sister in her underwear. He stood there awkwardly, facing away from her, completely at a loss. What did he do? He’d never been in a situation like this before. “I-I uh… I got your clothes. They-they’re in the living room.”
    Mina

Mina’s jaw locked at Taehyung’s words, wanting to snap at him, but Jimin quickly drew her attention back to him. “I’m starting my residency soon at a hospital near home. I want to be a pediatrician,” she said. She’d always had a love for kids, and since her parents had pushed so hard for her to become a doctor, she figured what better than to be a pediatrician. It was really hard to see sick kids, but it was very rewarding to help them. Medical school was insanely difficult, and maybe that was why she was so uptight nowadays, compared to how she used to be. Or maybe it was just the pressure of trying to please her parents.

She grabbed a drink and took a sip, glancing back over at Jimin. “What about you? What do you do for work?” she asked. She had never really seen Jimin going into any particular field when they were younger. He always just seemed like a free spirit that didn’t want to be tied down to one specific thing, so she was genuinely curious to see what he’d gotten into. She knew it had to be something that was somewhat taxing, considering how tired he looked. Or maybe that was just the effects of the alcohol hitting him.

    Mooni

Mooni froze mid-scoop at the sound of Jungkook's voice, very aware she didn't have on any pants. But, what was the big deal, anyways? He'd seen her in less before, when they all did stuff like go to the beach or the community swimming pool. Why was it so different just because it was underwear, and not a swimsuit? Under normal circumstances, she would be just as flustered as Jungkook. Fuck, she wouldn't even be walking around her brother's apartment without being fully clothes, but for whatever reason, she felt bold enough to want Jungkook to see her as something else.

She wasn't delusional enough to think she actually had a chance, but what was the harm in letting him know that she was more than Taehyung's kid sister? She certainly wasn't a kid anymore, she had made that statement tonight. Taking out another bowl for, she scooped the sweet chocolate mounds into it before putting the carton back in the freezer. Wanting to start this movie before her brother came home, at the least, she started making her way towards the couch. Pausing as she passed Jungkook, she looked back to see him desperate not to look at her.

"You know, they're only legs," she cooed, holding out the bowl towards him. She'd show him even more, if he asked, but for now she would settle on watching this movie and eating her sweet snack.
    Jimin

"Residency?" Jimin asked, taken over by astonishment so much that he even leaned over towards Mina with wide eyes, "You're a doctor? That's great!" What surprised Jimin even more was how easy it was turning out to pick up where her left off with his former best friend. He found himself curious as to how she'd been doing and everything she's accomplished, even though none of it involved reaching out to him. After being asked what he did, he felt almost a little embarrassed after hearing about what she'd managed to do in all this time.

"Um, well, I code for companies on contract. Apps, video games, websites, nothing huge, but it's good money," Jimin shrugged. To him, it really wasn't a big deal, especially not compared to being a fucking doctor. How was he supposed to compete with that? Even through his self-consciousness and feeling like he lacked achievement, however, he was still outrageously proud of Mina.

"He works for Google, don't let him fool you," Yoongi said out of nowhere.

"Welcome back, hyung," Jimin joked as Yoongi's eyes feathered open, obviously not happy to be awake.

"I couldn't sleep through all of this awkward shit," Yoongi grumbled, reaching forward to grab another drink. Just one little cat nap, and he was apparently good to go, "As you can tell, Mina, he hasn't been with any girls since you left."

    Jungkook

Jungkook swallowed hard, hesitantly looking up at her when she reached him a bowl of ice cream. He guessed she was right, but still, it felt weird to look at her in such a way. He took the bowl from her, his body slowly beginning to loosen up from the tense state it was in. “I-I guess,” he mumbled after a moment of awkward silence. He followed her into the living room, having to resist the urge to look at her below the waist. He wanted to look, to admire her body, but he knew it would be rude and inappropriate. And the last thing he wanted was to get caught staring at her ass. He was sure she’d probably never let him live that down.

He sat down on the couch with his bowl of ice cream, staring directly in front of him at the tv screen and nowhere else. “So, what are we going to watch?” he asked as he grabbed his spoon to dip himself some ice cream. The coolness of it felt great on his throat since it seemed to be so hot in there. Or, maybe it was just the fact that he was still blushing from seeing her in her underwear.

Sure, he’d seen her in a bathing suit before, but this time it was different. She was in her underwear, something that was meant to be private, and not for anyone else to see. Maybe that’s why it felt so taboo to him. And the way she was acting so casual about it like it wasn’t a big deal was making him blush even more.
    Mina

Mina laughed softly. “I’m not a doctor yet,” she said. “But one day, yeah.” She glanced in Yoongi’s direction when he spoke up for the first time in a while, taking a sip of her drink. She raised an eyebrow when he mentioned Jimin not being with any women since she’d left, finding that extremely hard to believe. “Really? I seriously doubt that. He’s so handsome, girls should be all over him.”

“It’s hard to find girls when you’re constantly holed up in your apartment,” Taehyung said, aiming a smirk in Jimin’s direction.

Mina shrugged her shoulders. “Well, I’ve dealt with some people in the past who have no idea how to work a computer, so I think it’s pretty neat that you’re into technology,” she said, smiling over at Jimin. “And if it makes you a lot of money, who cares?” She really wasn’t the type of person to judge someone based on their job. She knew how hard it was in this day and age to find a decent job, let alone one that you actually enjoyed. So for that, she was lucky.

“Why don’t you two fuck already?” Yoongi said, chugging half of his drink before setting his glass back down on the table. “I can feel your sexual tension all the way over here.”

    Mooni

"I already told you, Jungkookie," Mooni picked up the shorts Jungkook had gotten for her, setting her bowl down next to the boy as she slipped into them, "I want to watch a chick flick. Something with romance, since I'm getting none of that." She always wondered why she was never able to be this open sober, but instead it took a night out for her to become bold, and talk to people how she really wanted to. Well, almost. She still couldn't strike up the courage to confess her feelings to Jungkook.

For a moment, her mind wandered, causing her to just stand there, staring blankly in front of her. She wondered if he was lonely as she was, if he was going out on dates or just daydreaming about his crush whenever he could. Did he even have a crush? Her heart raced at the thought, a small twinge of jealousy flaring up in her chest even though it wasn't any of her business. Still, she wanted to know, and if she didn't have the balls to tell him that she had feelings for him, she could at least beat around the bush and ask him if there was anybody he had in mind.

"Jungkook, is there somebody you like?" She plopped down next to him, regaining her bowl of half melted ice-cream as she grabbed the remote and started flipping through the movies that were on demand. All of the well known, cheesy romance movies were on there; Titanic, The Notebook, P.S. I Love You, etc. Although, the new Dragon Ball Z movie was finally on there, and it was looking pretty good.
    Jimin

"Namjoon hyung should be finished with the restroom," Taehyung chimed in, smirking behind his hand, both of the boys earning death glares from Jimin. What sexual tension? He just wanted to catch up with his friend, not that those two idiots would know anything about sexual tension, anyways.

"Thanks, guys," Jimin pursed his lips, "Sometimes I honestly forget why I'm friends with you, and each and every time I see you, you make it even harder to remember." Snickering, Taehyung and Yoongi grabbed more drinks, obviously trying to bring life back into the night before it had completely died.

"That's okay," Yoongi stretched his arms out, "You're still stuck with us."

"Actually, I don't think Namjoon hyung is finished with the restroom," Taehyung self corrected as he looked around the club.

"That's probably why she had Jungkook take her home," Jimin remarked mischievously, "If the restroom is taken, they had to go somewhere else for some privacy."

    "Shut up," Taehyung grumbled.

"They're probably screwing on your couch right now," Yoongi laughed out loud. Chuckling himself, Jimin looked over at Mina to see if she found the conversation unfolding in front of them funny as he did.

"Whether you're a doctor or not, yet, I still think all of that's pretty fucking cool," he cheered her on, wanting to get away from Taehyung and Yoongi, "We're already here, so do you want to dance?"

    Jungkook

Jungkook looked over at her, feeling a little more at ease now that she at least had shorts on. When she asked if there was someone he liked, his heart screamed at him to tell her that it was her he had feelings for, but his brain knew better. He knew if he told her how he felt, she would probably laugh at him. And if Taehyung found out, well, he didn’t even know what would happen to him. He probably wouldn’t be allowed to see Mooni anymore, and he definitely didn’t want that to happen. So he thought over his answer for a moment before finally nodding his head.

“Yeah, there is someone,” he said. It’s you.

His heart ached and his stomach churned, and he wanted to tell her, and for her to tell him she felt the same way too. He wanted to kiss her, and her kiss him back. He wanted to wrap his arms around her and hold her and cuddle all night while they watched stupid movies. He could see it now in his head. He even got butterflies at the thought. God, he was so stupidly in love with her, and he would never be able to have her. The thought angered him. Why could Taehyung see whoever he wanted, but he couldn’t?

    It just wasn’t fair.
    Mina

Mina bit her lip hard as she looked between Yoongi and Taehyung, rolling her eyes at their comments. She’d almost forgotten how childish they could all be sometimes. She managed a small laugh at Jimin’s comment about Jungkook and Mooni, smirking slightly at the look on Taehyung’s face. Everyone knew the two were totally in love with each other but were just too dumb to realize it. She was sure that even Taehyung knew too, and that’s why he was so hard on Jungkook out of everyone about their comments towards his sister.

She honestly kind of hoped that maybe they were back at home right now having sex on Taehyung’s couch. They deserved each other, and they deserved to be happy. Not only that, but it would kind of be a big “fuck you” to Taehyung, and maybe it would put him in his place.

She looked over at Jimin and smiled brightly at him when he asked her to dance. “Yeah, of course,” she said, quickly finishing her drink before she moved to get up. Once he’d slid out of the booth, she followed right behind him. Maybe now she could dance for real without Taehyung being a total party pooper and ruining her fun. She extended her hand out for Jimin to take, the idea of them having skin-to-skin contact again sending tingles down her body. Maybe it was because she hadn’t really been with anyone while she was gone. Of course, she’d tried dating a few different times, but nothing had ever gone anywhere, and she’d been too busy with work and school to worry about hook-ups.

    Mooni

Mooni's heart dropped through her stomach, and her body felt limp, as if it was no longer in her control. She'd known he was too good for her, and she'd never had a chance, but man did that hurt to hear. In the end, she only wanted him to be happy, so instead of sulking in front of him, she gave him a great, big smile. "I hope she likes you back. She'd be stupid not to," she commented, stuffing her mouth with ice cream. At least one of them should be able to have the person they wanted, right? It would hurt for her to see, but over time, she could get used to it and maybe move on herself.

"I like somebody, too," she huffed, trying to make it sound as if there was a reason she'd asked him such an intrusive question. Trying to keep her smile was hard, so eventually it faltered, and her eyes flickered down towards her bowl, "It's a one sided love, though. Anyways, Taehyung's never let me date, and now that there's a killer on the loose...." Logically, wouldn't it be smarted for her to be walking around with a guy that she knew she trusted, knew cared about her and would protect her? "But I'm not going to let him control my life anymore. I'm going to start dating."

Now that he'd confirmed he liked somebody, there was no more reason for hope. Always feeling like a burden on the guys, she didn't want to stand in his way, either. "Is she pretty? Can I see a picture?" She began asking again, drawing the attention back on him.
    Jimin

When Jimin grabbed Mina's hand, it felt like tiny sparks against his skin. An unfamiliar feeling began to creep it's way through his stomach and chest, and as unfamiliar as it was, he knew exactly what it was. Shoving those thoughts to the side, he reminded himself that their relationship had a lot of mending to do, and she'd only just moved back here. They were both busy. There was no way. Grasping her hand tighter, he tugged her out to the dance floor, trying to get in rhythm with the beat.

But what if their relationship didn't need mending? What if this whole time, he'd taking her actions so personally that it blinded his rationality? It wasn't her fault, he told himself, thinking over her story. Overall, it was extremely logical, and looking back he could see the signs. At some point, her parents - who had hated him - became tolerant of his presence. Almost as if it was inevitable their friendship wouldn't last. Now, he was on the dance floor with Mina, and he wanted to go back in time and slap the smug look off of their faces.

"I'm sorry about them," Jimin apologized loudly so that she could hear, the embarrassment of their immature behavior finally setting in, "They're just all super uptight because of that serial killer that hasn't been caught yet." So far, the only victims had been women so theoretically, all of the guys were safe. That didn't account for any of their mothers or sisters, though. Looking over at Taehyung, Jimin knew that was a large factor on why he was always so uptight. He shook off that thought, too. It wasn't any of his business.

    Jungkook

Jungkook was all smiles until Mooni mentioned that she liked someone. He felt his heart shatter into a million pieces, knowing that there was someone else she liked. And frankly, he felt a bit angry. Not at her, but at this guy who she was pining over, and that apparently didn’t feel the same way. Who could be so stupid to not like her? She was beautiful, and smart, and perfect in every way. This guy must be a total doorknob. He had to be.

“A-a picture?” Jungkook asked, looking down to his lap, where his phone was nestled in his pocket. “Yeah, you know what, you can.” He reached into his pocket with purpose, feeling angry and jealous, and not thinking straight at that moment. His emotions were taking the front seat, and he had no control over them. He yanked his phone from his pocket and unlocked it, his brows furrowing as he started going through his pictures. He pulled up a picture of her and Taehyung that he had, letting out a breath before he flipped the phone and almost shoved it in her face. “There.”

As he sat there, huffing and puffing, he realized what he’d done, and his features softened. Oh no. Jungkook, what did you do? She was going to know that he liked her now, an she was probably going to laugh in his face and tell him that he needed to find someone else because she didn’t feel the same. He quickly faltered, pulling his phone away from her and looking down, feeling ashamed of how jealous and angry he’d gotten at just her telling him that she liked someone else. How would he react if he actually saw her with someone else? He probably wouldn’t be able to control himself then either. Now he just felt more sad than angry.
    Mina

Mina’s entire body felt hot, dancing with Jimin. She thought maybe she had liked him a bit more than she remembered, or had wanted to admit to herself. Or maybe it was the alcohol. Either way, she wanted to feel his hands on more than just her own hand. She was pulled away from her thoughts, though, when Jimin mentioned a serial killer. “Serial killer?” she questioned. Why hadn’t her sister told her about this? Why would she willingly allow her to come back home knowing there was a murderer out there? Maybe it was because she felt safer having Mina living with her instead of living on her own.

“I had no idea that was happening,” Mina said, looking past Jimin and glancing around at all the people. Now she felt a bit on edge. What if the killer was there with them? She inadvertently moved closer to Jimin, hoping he wouldn’t let anything happen to her if something were to go down here in the club. When she looked back at him, she realized now just how close they were. She could smell the alcohol on his breath, that’s how close she was.

Honestly, if he asked her to go somewhere private right now, she wouldn’t hesitate to say yes. She didn’t know if it was because she hadn’t had sex in years or if it was because of how she was feeling about him right now, but she wanted him. She wanted to kiss him and to put her hands on his body, but she wasn’t exactly sure if he felt the same way. And she would be totally embarrassed if she tried something and he wasn’t into it.

    Mooni

Mooni felt stupid; how could she have missed this? It was sitting right in front of her, nearly every day she was at her brother's house, and this whole time she'd been clueless. Channeling her memories, she looked for any signs that would have given it away, any signs that she may have missed. But as she racked her brain, nothing came to the forefront of her mind. Biting the inside of her cheek, she didn't know how to feel.

"You like Taehyung?" She asked softly. Sure, it had been a picture with the two of them, but good things just rarely ever happened to her. It made sense, then, why Jungkook always stuck around here, even when her brother was being a major pain in the ass. "I'm so sorry for assuming it was a girl, I didn't realize you liked men." It was both tragic, and ironic. Tragic, because now, she never had a chance. She never did. Ironic, because although she had fallen for him, he was into her brother. Then, Mooni felt worse, because Taehyung was straighter than an arrow, meaning Jungkook never had a chance, either.

Shifting her position, she sat on her legs and turned towards him. How many people had he told? Or was it just her? If he hadn't voiced this to anybody else, it must be so difficult for him to continue holding it in. Pushing her feelings to the side, she wanted to be there for him.
    Jimin

"It's okay," Jimin promised, instinctively placing his hand on the small of Mina's back when she moved closer. His first concern was how nervous he'd made her about bringing up the notorious killer; he didn't want her freaking out over nothing, especially because the bastard probably wasn't even here. He was most likely out and preying on somebody else. His second concern was how close she was. Jimin was no innocent boy, and he rarely got flustered around women anymore, so it was easy for him to admit to himself his attraction to the women next to him. Alcohol or not.

By now, it was clear that his drinks played no part in how he was feeling, though theoretically he should have been long past alcohol poisoning. He looked over at the table he'd previously occupied to see Yoongi drinking still before making eye contact with Taehyung. The poor boy looked irritated, and Jimin didn't want Mina to see that. Grabbing her hand, he pulled her deeper onto the dance floor, using the various other bodies as a barrier between them and his friends. He wondered when, and if, he'd bump into Hoseok, Namjoon, or even Jin.

He definitely wasn't Jin or Namjoon, not desperate enough to take a woman into a public restroom just for a mediocre time. He liked to romanticize his women, and he wondered what it would be like to do that with Mina. If he were to ever taker her out on a date, where would he take her? Would she have a good time? Would she even agree to go out with him? He didn't want to think about that now, just that they were here, so close already. Using her hips as leverage, he pulled her closer so she was pressed up against them as they danced, hoping he wasn't crossing too many lines with her.

    Jungkook

Jungkook’s eyes widened in horror at her assumption that it was Taehyung who he had feelings for, not her. Maybe he should have been more obvious in choosing a picture, but he couldn’t go back now. He looked down at himself, wondering if he’d come off as gay in the past. He quickly shook his head, feeling like he might actually vomit at the idea of him and his hyung dating. Not only was he not into boys, but even if he had been, there was no way in hell he would ever date Taehyung. He was like a brother to Jungkook, and never in a million years would he see him as anything else. “No!” he exclaimed. “I don’t like boys, especially not Taehyung. Like that, I mean. I like girls.”

He groaned, reaching up to rub his face. “You, Mooni,” he huffed. “I like you.” His stomach turned and his hands grew clammy, his heart pounding in his chest. His cheeks grew bright red and he felt a bit lightheaded. All because of this girl. She had so much control over him that it was almost scary. That’s how much he liked her. He found it hard to look her in the eyes, staring down at his hands, or off to the side. He was afraid of how she wound react now that she truly knew that it was her he had feelings for.

“I-sorry,” he mumbled after a moment. “I know you like a different boy. I should have kept my feelings to myself. I don’t want to burden you.” He almost felt guilty now, that he’d told her about his feelings, because she’d have to carry that around on her shoulders now on. He couldn’t imagine how hard it would be to know someone liked you and you didn’t like them back. Wouldn’t that make you feel bad?
    Mina

Mina let out a small gasp when Jimin pulled her even closer so that their bodies were touching. She looked up at him, biting her lip as she thought about what she wanted to say to him now that they were alone. Although, this probably wasn’t the best setting for that. But she wanted to tell him now instead of later. “I really missed you,” she spoke up above the music so he would hear her. “I’m glad I’m back, and I’m glad that I came tonight.” She was glad that her sister had dragged her out now, and almost thankful to her because if she hadn’t, she wouldn’t have had this chance to talk to Jimin. Maybe it wouldn’t be as hard as she thought it would to get to know him again, and to restore their friendship. He seemed pretty open to the idea too, which made her happy.

She swayed in time with the music, acutely aware of the friction between their hips. She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling that it was okay to put her hands on him now that he’d done the same to her. She nearly forgot about everyone surrounding them, only focusing on the music and Jimin himself. However, when someone bumped into her from behind, she was brought back to reality, and she let out a sigh. She glanced over her shoulder and then back at Jimin. “Do you want to go somewhere quiet so we can talk more?” she asked. She’d already drank all she wanted to, and the most they could do at this point was dance and wait for Namjoon, Hoseok, and Jin to return so they could go home.

She didn’t see a point in waiting for them. They could just get a cab and go back to his apartment since they’d taken Jin’s car anyways. And since Mooni and Jungkook were gone, it would be hard for the eight of them to all fit in that tiny sedan. “We can get a cab and go back to your place. Or mine.”

    Mooni

Different feelings erupted through Mooni. First of all, she felt damn embarrassed for calling Jungkook gay just now. Soon, that was followed by disbelief - there was no way a guy like him could like a girl like her. Especially not Taehyung's best friend. Lastly, it was followed by surrealism. This whole time, she'd admired him from afar - had he felt the same this whole time. She wanted to easily blurt out that she felt the same, and that she always had, but for some reason that seemed so juvenile to her. Especially after his confession, she felt so self conscious. As if she did or said anything off-putting, his feelings would suddenly change.

Truthfully, she didn't know what to say, and if she didn't say anything she'd basically be leaving him on read. Her heart clenched at the thought of Jungkook thinking that his feelings were a burden to her. On the contrary, it felt like a huge weight being lifted off of her shoulders. The one thing Mooni could only dream of coming from his mouth finally did, and the happiness that built up inside of her, completely eclipsing any amount of self doubt that she was feeling.

Without knowing what to say, she could at least control her body. Not wanting to be too forward, but still trying to make her feelings obvious, she threw her arms around Jungkook's shoulders, hugging him tightly. Ah, it felt so good to be able to do this, especially without Taehyung around. Nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck, she was suddenly grateful she opted to slip into her shorts. Luckily, Jungkook wouldn't be able to see her cheeks turn a bright red. "I guess my one-sided love isn't one-sided after all."
    Jimin

Jimin weighed his options carefully; should he be alone with Mina already? Did she believe something more would happen? Of course he'd already established to himself that he was attracted to her, but she definitely wasn't a piece of meat to him. He wanted a chance to take her out, and if they were to become intimate together, he wanted to get to know her more well before that. However, maybe she truly wanted to talk, and not just simple 'how are you doing' conversation like they had been, but really talk. Like Mina, Jimin didn't feel comfortable doing that in a club. So that left two options; his place or hers. His place was a mess, but at the same time, her place had the risk of Lia walking in, and probably with Jimin in tow.

"Mine," Jimin nodded, "But I want to get food on the way." Jimin hadn't stuffed his face the entire day, only waking up before Jin barged into his apartment and forced him into his shower and going out. One of the issues was that as soon as he told his friends he was going to grab an Uber and take Mina with him, he'd never live that down, no matter what happened or didn't happen with her. Drawing in a deep breath, he grabbed a hold of her hand again and led her back to their booth. "Taehyung, Mina and I are going to get out of here. We have a lot of catching up to do."

"Yeah, catching up," Yoongi teased. Taehyung looked up and shot a wink towards Jimin, causing him to roll his eyes. He knew they'd go there, so there was no point in over-reacting.

    "Just be safe," Taehyung ordered.

    Jungkook

It took a few moments for Jungkook to process what was happening because in the past, this situation had seemed completely impossible to him. Mooni liking him back? No way, impossible. Was he dreaming? Was he going to wake up in a minute, back in his bed at home? He hoped that wasn’t the case, because the feeling of happiness he had right now was something he hadn’t felt probably ever. Sure, he’d had moments of happiness throughout his life, but nothing felt as good as knowing that the girl of his dreams felt the same way about him.

Once he had finally processed what was happening, he wrapped his arms back around her. It definitely felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders, but it was only replaced with a new one. Now that they knew about their feelings for each other, what were they going to do about Taehyung? If he found out that they both liked each other and were doing something about it, he would most certainly freak out.

Jungkook pulled away and looked at her, managing a smile. “Wow,” he mumbled. “I didn’t think someone like you could ever like me.” Sure, he was good at pretty much everything he set his mind to, but other than that, there was really nothing special about him. He was good at school, but he wasn’t a star student. He worked out, but he wasn’t a star athlete. He liked photography and film, but nobody had ever acknolwedged his talent; not even his own teacher. He just felt like he wasn’t good enough sometimes.

“Are you sure you like me?” he joked.
    Mina

Mina nodded and followed Jimin, rolling her eyes at Yoongi’s comment. “At least he’s getting some and not sitting here passed out drunk,” she hissed, earning a snort from Taehyung. She pulled Jimin away from the booth before Yoongi could even comment, knowing he probably didn’t want to deal with his friends anymore at this point. Once they got out of the club, she felt like she could finally hear again, and her ears weren’t ringing anymore. She knew Jimin’s friends only teased him out of love, but sometimes she felt like they teased him excessively more than the others, and it was probably because he let them do it. Even when they were younger, they always teased him a bit more because he was the smallest out of all of them.

“I’ll get the Uber,” she said, pulling her phone out of her purse and pulling the app up. She’d used it many a time while travelling back and forth between work, school and her dorm back in college. She could never afford her own car, so she had to rely on other people for rides. She got them a ride, putting her phone away and looking back up at him. “It’ll be here soon.” She walked over to a bench and sat down, patting the seat beside her so he would sit. “Do you have a shirt that I can borrow back at your place? This dress is insanely tight.”

It was kind of crazy how easy it was to just fall back into things with him like it was no big deal. Even if it was just small talk at this point, she was sure that as the night went on, things would get easier for them, and they would just ease back into their friendship. That was all she could hope for at this point. She’d been so afraid that things were going to be tense and awkward, but they weren’t, and she was happy. Maybe even more could come of it. She couldn’t lie, she was definitely attracted to him, and she felt like maybe he felt the same. He was handsome, no doubt about it, and she wouldn’t mind dating him at all. If that ever happened, of course.
