    Mooni

The thing was, Mooni didn't just like Jungkook. She'd fallen for him years ago, but she wasn't quite ready to admit that. At this point, her half-assed confession was already almost more than she could handle. She was more than sure, but she didn't know how to tell him while simultaneously sounding sincere. There were so many things she wasn't able to tell him; when he was around, she lost motor function. Every time her mind wandered, it wandered straight to him. Every time he was near her, she wasn't able to sit still, and was barely able to conceal her goosebumps. In fact, she was acutely aware of the raised arrector pili that coated her skin.

"For as long as I can remember," she admitted confidently. When she first met Jungkook, Taehyung was still in high school, living with her and their parents. It didn't take long before she began to admire him, and find his jokes funny, even if they were lame. Since the very day they'd bee introduced, she always looked forward to seeing him, and to hear him teasing her about stupid shit. Now that they were both grown up, she could only hope for more. Now, she was allowed to hope for more.

Then came the sigh, and the heavy realization that her brother still existed. She loved her brother, he always protected her and made sure she was taken care for, but fuck he could be so overbearing. And now she was an adult, he didn't get to decide what she did with her life, or who she decided to spend it with. It was important to her that Jungkook knew that, that as much as he thought he controlled, he honestly had no say. Still, they'd only established they had feelings for each other. Why not figure that out before they told anybody else?
    Jimin

"I noticed," Jimin admitted absent-minded. Immediately, his face grew red at his own words before he shook them off. He was not the type to get embarrassed, and he certainly wouldn't start now, "Of course you can borrow whatever you like, if there's anything that's even clean." That's what he was still worried about; whether or not his apartment was even tidy enough for anybody to visit. Of course, she'd already been there, but so, so, rapidly. Surely, she hadn't noticed the piles of dishes in his sink, the empty beer bottles scattered around his living room, or the mountains of laundry in his room. Honestly, if he had a spare shirt, he was lucky.

"I have to be honest with you," he started, not wanting this re-ignition of their friendship start off on the wrong foot. He needed to set a boundary, and actually follow it, "I'm not taking you back to my apartment to sleep with you. Not that I haven't though about," slapping his forehead, he turned away momentarily to gather his thoughts. Perhaps the alcohol did have a pretty significant factor right now. "I really just want to to talk. I think anything else would complicate things."

This sent Jimin into wondering what would have happened to their friendship if she never left? Would they have remained friends like they did for so many years? Completely platonic, supporting each other's lives and relationships. Would it have eventually evolved into more, as he already sensed would happen now? The closeness between them had already surpassed friendship, and if Jimin were to be eerily honest with himself, he hoped he didn't have that spare shirt to give her. Sleeping with Mina would be great, but it would be even better if he knew she had feelings for him.

    Jungkook

Jungkook chuckled nervously. “Really?” he mumbled, unable to help the big smile that grew across his face. Because he was just so happy. “I-I always thought you were really pretty, but I thought there was no way you’d ever like me.” He felt kind of dumb now, knowing that she’d liked him for so long, and he’d liked her for just as long. If they hadn’t been so up their own asses, maybe they could have gotten together sooner. Or at least been aware of how they felt about each other.

He still felt a bit nervous, but he was a lot more at ease now that his feelings were out in the open. He felt like he didn’t have to hide anything anymore. At least not from her. Taehyung, however, was a different story. “Um, maybe it’s a good idea that we don’t mention anything to your brother just yet,” he said, his brows furrowing with concern. He really had no idea how they would even go about this. Of course, he knew that she wanted to be out from under her brother’s thumb, but at the same time, he didn’t want Taehyung to come between them. So what was the best solution here?

Maybe they could take things slow at first, and work up to telling him. At this point, he didn’t even know what to do right now. Were they together? Were they dating? Were they still just friends? He didn’t even know if he could hold her hand. God, he felt like such a virgin. Even though he’d been with another girl before, this felt entirely new to him. He hadn’t even felt this way about the other girl. He’d still liked Mooni at that point, and the other girl was just someone he dated for a few months because he thought that that’s what people did. He felt like he had to fit in with his hyungs and date a girl just to prove his own masculinity.
    Mina

Mina blushed slightly when Jimin acknowledged how tight her dress was. Was it really that bad? She looked up at him, feeling her heart sink just a little bit. She knew it would be jumping into things really quickly, but the thought of sleeping with him had sounded really nice. She knew it was just wishful thinking though. She nodded and forced a small smile. “Yeah, that’s fine, Jimin,” she said softly. He did have a point, though. They did need to re-establish their friendship first before anything else did happen between them. Otherwise, it would just be like two strangers having sex, and who’s to say they would even talk again after that?

She looked down at her phone, quickly sending a text to Lia to check on her. She wanted to make sure that she was still safe with Jin. Now that she knew there was a serial killer on the loose, she felt a bit guilty for talking so poorly to her sister. What if something happened to her? Mina would never forgive herself. Once she sent the text, she looked back at him, trying to gauge what he was feeling at the moment. “Have you really not been with anyone else?” she asked curiously, the words coming out of her mouth before she could even consider them.

It was none of her business, but ever since Yoongi had mentioned it, she just felt so confused by it. Although, unlike some of the other guys, he’d never seemed like the type that would be constantly taking girls home every other night, she also knew how much of a flirt he could be. He was definitely a lady killer, that’s for sure. All it would take is one look, and a girl would be on her knees for him. She blushed at the thought, looking away from him.

    Mooni

Mooni nearly found it hard to believe that Jungkook honestly thought she'd never like him. Sometimes, she was scared it was painfully obvious what her feelings were for him. Right now, she wished it had been that obvious so that he never had to question whether or not his feelings were reciprocated. Unfortunately, he was absolutely right about her brother. But what exactly was it that they'd tell him anyways? They'd only just established that they'd even liked each other, and not much more.

She would happily be anything and everything to him, but for now, they just needed to get on the same page. More importantly, she was tired of Taehyung being a factor in her personal life, even if Jungkook was his best friend. This was none of his business. "Why can't we just forget about him right now?" She questioned, wishing he wouldn't bring up her brother anymore. He'd be a little pissy about this, so what? He was a big boy, and he'd be able to handle it. It wasn't Mooni's job to softly caress his feelings and make him feel better just because he was the older or the two.

Finally, she'd been able to tell him her feelings, even if it was only just a little bit. Now that all of that had been revealed, she just wanted to be in his arms, and to know that his confessions was real. As soon as she went to bed, she'd wake up to Taehyung, eagerly watching over the two as they hung out. She wanted to be able to take advantage of this time alone with him.
    Jimin

Jimin's face grew red at Mina's question .Perhaps he wasn't ready to answer that, finding it too intimate for a conversation between them. Then again, who was to say what happened between the in the next couple of hours. The were going back to his place, completely alone, and he couldn't completely ignore the tight dress she was in fact wearing. Taehyung had been telling the truth; he hadn't been with anybody except for the couple of girls he was with back in high school. Not that he had no interest, he just didn't have the time.

"I think I don't want to answer that," Jimin chuckled, feeling slightly embarrassed once Mina brought up his personal life. It was such a stigma to have not been with anybody at such a developed age, but at the same time, it was also a stigma to not have been with anybody. How was he even supposed to answer that? Instead, he opted not to. One thing he'd definitely learned from Taehyung was to deflect the conversation when he was uncomfortable, so that's exactly what he did.

"What made you decide to want to go home with me?" JImin asked intrusively, curious now about where her head space was. Why bother wondering what was going through her head when he could just ask? In return, he didn't mind being honest with her, and no looked forward to being alone in his apartment with the woman.

    Jungkook

Jungkook nodded his head in agreement. “Yeah,” he said. “We should forget about him for a while.” Taehyung wasn’t even here right now anyways. It was just the two of them, so he had nothing to worry about. He let out a shaky breath, afraid of how she would react to what he was about to tell her. But he had to be honest, and he honestly needed her help. “So, um… I’ve never been in a real relationship before.” His cheeks burned bright red from embarrassment, looking down at his hands so he wouldn’t have to meet her eyes.

“I-I mean I had a girlfriend once, but I didn’t really like her,” he said, only realizing how bad that sounded after the words left his mouth. “Wait, I mean… That sounds awful. It’s not that I didn’t like her, I just liked someone else. You, I mean. I liked you.” He groaned at how insanely awkward he was, reaching up to cover his face with his hands. Why couldn’t he just be smooth like Jin hyung? Jin always had a way with women that Jungkook had been jealous of. Everything just seemed to come so easily to him, whereas Jungkook was like a bull in a china shop.

He was totally fine around the guys, but put a girl in front of him and he was tripping over his words and stumbling over his sentences. He didn’t know why, maybe it was his hormones or something. But it seemed to be even worse with Mooni. She just had this effect on him, that turned him into a total bumbling idiot. He just hoped that she didn’t think he was a weirdo and changed her mind about how she felt. “I’m sorry. God, I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”
    Mina

“I want to get to know you again,” Mina answered honestly. “I mean, you could be a totally different person than you were when we were teenagers.” She bit her lip, shrugging her shoulders. “And if anything happened between us, I mean… I wouldn’t be upset about it.” She knew the likelihood of that happening was probably slim at this point, but maybe he’d change his mind and actually want to sleep with her. Regardless, she did want to talk to him, and to get to know him all over again. She wanted to know about all the things she had missed while she was gone. What great things had he done? What adventures had he gone on? He obviously had to have done some amazing work to be able to work for such a large company as Google, right?

“But aside from that, I just want to talk,” she said. “I really missed you.” There had been nobody else in the world that she had been more close to than Jimin growing up. At one point, she probably would have considered him a brother, which was weird to think back on given the current status of their relationship. But now they were so distant, it felt so awkward and she hated it. She wanted someone in her life again that she could go to at her lowest moment, and her sister definitely wasn’t it. She just hoped that Jimin would want to be that person again. She didn’t want to force this friendship on him if it wasn’t something that he wanted, but he seemed just as interested as she was.

    Mooni

Mooni couldn't help but smile as Jungkook seemed to be unraveling in front of her own eyes, making it obvious he was nervous. Sometimes, she just thought he had a weird tick that made him awkward, but was it truly possible that it was because of her? Just like everything else about him, it was cute and admirable. Although she had always feared his rejection and the reaction of her brother, she was never the type to trip on her own words, but now that Jungkook had confessed to her, she managed to find the confidence she carried in every other aspect of her life.

Taking a hold of his hands, which tightly cradled his face at this point, she pulled them towards her so she could look at him, her smile still planted on her face. She found it ironic that he'd been the one who had built up the nerve to tell her about his feelings first, yet he was the one so obviously struggling with his nerves. Even so, she admired him, and she always had. "I've never been in a relationship, period. I don't know what this will develop into, or if it will even turn into anything, though I hope it will. If Taehyung has a problem with it, he can literally go screw off. I just want you to know that I've always adored everything about you, and you don't have to worry about doing something that will change that."

Placing the palms of his hands on her cheeks, her smile grew wider once she realized she never gave him a direct response, "I like you, too, Jungkookie-ah." She hoped that her own confession would be enough to help ease his nerves a little bit.
    Jimin

"I am different," Jimin confirmed, realizing how much he'd grown since then. A lot of the time, it didn't feel like it; he felt like he was just a man child who was only existing in this life instead of taking it by the reigns and truly living. But, altogether, he had become a different person. Besides having a more mature body, he was very confident in the things he did and didn't want in life. He hadn't turned down so many women because the offers weren't there - because they were - but casual sex just had never been something that truly interested him. "And I'd like to show you that."

With both of them drunk, however, who was to say what could happen. He liked to think he had superior self control, but something about Mina and her return did something to him. Before, when they were just kids, he'd never really considered her as a romantic interest. Now, the way her body filled up her dress had him feigning disinterest. He didn't want her to think that he wasn't interested, though. "I wouldn't be upset about it either, and I missed you more than I'm probably letting on. I just think you're worth more than a friendly fuck."

Had he just accidentally admitted he'd rather take her out, or hinted that she was just too good for him? He didn't want to think too much into it; they had all night to talk, and unlike Jungkook and Mooni, they didn't have to worry about anybody else walking in on them. Assuming anything was even happening over at Taehyung's apartment. Assuming that's even where they went.

    Jungkook

Jungkook was surprised by her statement. She’d never been in a relationship before? Well, he could see how difficult that would be given how overbearing Taehyung was. Maybe he was that way with all boys and his sister, and not just with Jungkook. Maybe things just seemed even worse for him because he was Taehyung’s best friend. And it was totally against “bro code” to date your best friend’s little sister. But honestly, Jungkook didn’t care anymore. Yeah, Taehyung’s reaction was still a thought in the back of his mind, but right now, hearing her words, and having her holding his hands and looking into his eyes, he didn’t care. He was totally lost in the moment. He smiled at her words, letting out a nervous chuckle. “I’m sorry,” he said softly. “I just… I suck at talking to girls.”

He shook his head, looking into her eyes and gently brushing his thumb across her cheek. His worries began to fade, and he eased out of his tension, just letting her gaze comfort him. He’d been waiting for this moment for what felt like an eternity, and now that it was happening, it felt so surreal. He had finally admitted his feelings to Mooni, and she felt the same way. It just felt like a dream. He pulled his hands away from her face and picked her hands up in his, looking down at them as he locked his fingers with hers. “I can’t believe we never knew we liked each other,” he said after a moment, laughing as he looked back up at her. “God, I feel so stupid now.”
    Mina

Mina blushed and smiled at him. “Thanks, I guess,” she said, laughing softly. She looked over when a car pulled up, grabbing her purse and standing up. She pulled her dress down her thighs, looking back to make sure Jimin was coming before walking over to the car. She climbed into the backseat, telling the driver where to go. She couldn’t wait to get back to his place and to get out of this dress. Wearing it was probably a mistake, but at the same time, maybe it had been a good thing, because Jimin had definitely noticed the way it hugged her body a few times.

The car ride was silent and maybe just a little bit awkward, but it was nowhere near as bad as it had been at the beginning of the night. At least Jin and Lia weren’t sitting between the two of them now, doing god only knows what with each other in the dark car. She glanced over at Jimin, thinking things over. “Do you mind if I sleep on your couch tonight?” she asked. It was probably an awkward question, and she wouldn’t be surprised if he said no. She just didn’t want to go home and have to deal with her sister and Jin, and she also didn’t feel comfortable going back out by herself at night knowing there was someone out there killing people. Actually, it was a pretty bold question for her. But at this point, all her walls were down, so she had no qualms about anything with him.

    Mooni

"You've always seemed pretty okay at talking to me," Mooni declared promisingly. Sure, they may have been a few times here or there where he may have stumbled on his words, but she'd never really noticed it. He always seemed so calm and cool around her that to find he was this nervous was surprising. To Mooni, it wasn't important that he had a silver tongue, always whispered sweet nothings into her ears, or said anything romantic. He didn't need to know how to talk to girls, she just wanted him to be able to talk to her.

Her disbelief easily matched Jungkook's, but the last thing she wanted him to do was to feel stupid. Looking down at their intertwined fingers, a small flutter of nerves soared through her chest, but at the same time, a calming feeling released throughout her entire body. It was almost as if she didn't know what to feel most; happy or anxious. What would they become now that they'd both confessed? Would they just stay friends, or would they become something more? Would he ask her out on a date? Would she still only see him when he came around to hang out with her brother?

Considering Jungkook's nerves, she wondered if he'd make the move to do any of that. Being the first one to state he had any feelings, she'd think he was feeling pretty confident right now, but it almost seemed to be the complete opposite. Perhaps it was her turn to make a move now. "Would you like to take me out on a date?"
    Jimin

"You can have the bed," Jimin offered, the thought of her sleeping on his couch already making him feel guilty. "I'm guessing Jin is probably going to go home with Lia? I don't blame you for wanting to not be there." In hindsight, Jin and Namjoon shared an apartment, and Namjoon would probably bring a girl home. Jin never wanted to be there for that, effectively putting Mina in the same situation as him. At least that meant he got to spend more time with her and get to know her again.

He didn't want to imagine what else might happen. He was set on not sleeping with her, but knew they'd end up drinking even more at his place. Unlike the club, the shit he had back home would actually get him plastered, and he wouldn't have to spend his entire paycheck to do it. "Hey, can you stop by Panda Express?" Jimin asked, leaning forward so their Uber driver could hear him. He was anxious to get home, but couldn't ignore just how hungry he was. That, and he didn't want to get too drunk too soon.

"You don't mind, do you?" Jimin asked, after making his request already. He was sure she'd be hungry as well, and right now, Lo Mein and orange chicken just sounded too good to be true. Now all they'd need was a really good movie to watch.

    Jungkook

“Yeah, you’re right,” Jungkook said after a moment of thought. She was right. He used to have no problem talking to her, back before his feelings for her had grown really strong. Back before Taehyung had began to grow suspicious of them. “I guess, just having Taehyung constantly breathing down our necks made me more nervous. And also, I didn’t want to screw things up.” The last thing he had ever wanted was to make a mistake and risk ruining their friendship. At the end of the day, having her in his life in any capacity was more important to him than some relationship.

His eyes widened slightly when she spoke up again, asking him on a date. He looked up at her, completely caught off guard. He hadn’t been expecting that at all. Sure, he hadn’t said anything, but he was slowly building up the courage to ask. He was kind of glad that she’d taken the initiative, though, and asked. Because that meant now that he didn’t have to. Come on, Jungkook. Stop being such a pussy.

He smiled at her and nodded his head. “Yeah, I would love to,” he said, letting out the breath and allowing his muscles to relax. There was nothing to be nervous about anymore. Everything was out in the open. And he was sure that if he did make any mistakes, she would tell him, and hopefully be patient with him and try to work things out. Neither of them had been in a real relationship before, so they could work this out together. He liked that idea. And he also kind of got a bit of an ego boost knowing that he would be her first boyfriend. Once they got to that point, at least. “Where do you want to go? Do you want to do, like, dinner and a movie or something? Or is that super cliche?”
    Mina

Mina quickly shook her head. “No, no, really,” she said. “It’s fine. I don’t mind having the couch.” The thought of sleeping in his bed made her cheeks go red once again, and she bit her lip. “I don’t want to intrude on you like that.” She definitely didn’t want to think about her sister and Jin together. She’d always seen Jin as an older brother growing up, so imagining her sister with him made her stomach turn in the worst possible way. Then her thoughts began to wander, and she imagined herself in his bed, next to him, curled into his side as they slept. She wondered if she would have ever really felt this way about him if she hadn’t moved. Of course, she’d found herself attracted to him when they were younger, but those were fleeting moments and she saw him more as a brother than anything else.

She wondered if he’d ever found her attractive before tonight. Probably not. He’d probably felt the exact same way, that she was a sister to him and nothing more. So it was strange to think about, that after some time apart, they were suddenly so attracted to each other and even considering the outcome of having sex with each other. Maybe it was the alcohol that brought out their true feelings, or maybe what they had needed was time apart to realize just how much they cared for each other.

Mina shook her head, thinking that she could probably go for something to eat as well. “I don’t mind,” she said. “I could definitely go for some teriyaki chicken.” The thought nearly made her stomach growl, reminding her that she hadn’t eaten at all that day except for a piece of toast for breakfast. She’d been too busy unpacking and setting up her things in the apartment.

    Mooni

A weird snort pushed through Hana's nose, not that anything Jungkook had said was funny. It was just a strange feeling knowing that they'd gotten to this point. Truthfully, she didn't care what the two of them did; just like tonight, she was just happy that she got to spend time together. Still - and it wasn't that the idea of that date was cliche - she wanted their first date to be a chance to get to know him better. Having known him for so long, there were already many things she knew, like his favorite food, his favorite color, and his weird obsession with IU. She wanted to know what he did for fun, besides video games, and she wanted to experience that with him.

"I want to do something you like to do," she answered him, "Something that makes you smile and laugh. Wherever you take me, I promise you have fun." Mooni smiled so wide that her eyes closed shut for a moment. So lost in right now, she didn't even care about how she'd break it to her brother that she was going out with his best friend. All she cared about was when this would happen, and that it would hopefully be soon.

She wanted to tell him that not only was she free every day, but even if she wasn't, she'd clear her schedule just for him. However, she didn't want to come off as desperate. Being pretty collected had definitely helped her tonight, but she didn't know how much longer she'd be able to keep it together. Mooni was just so head over heels for him that it reverted her back to the days over being an awkward teenager. Hopefully, he didn't notice too much.
    Jimin

Jimin didn't want to argue with Mina about their sleeping arrangements, or insist when all she'd do in return was the same. It would be a never ending back and forth, and at that rate they'd never even go to sleep. Anyways, they'd fall asleep wherever they wanted, most likely, and if she fell asleep first, he could always place her on the bed. There was just something about bringing a girl back to his place that made him so...anxious. And of all people, it was Mina, a friend he hadn't seen in years until just a couple of hours ago.

As soon as they arrived at Panda Express, which was just minutes away from closing, Jimin nearly hopped out of the car. He wanted to get inside before they stopped making food, not that he cared about eating there anyways. Always the sucker for entertainment, burdened with easily getting bored, he preferred to eat at home in front of his television anyways. He hoped that Mina was trailing his footsteps, and that the Uber driver would wait for them.

Ignoring the annoyed expressions of the obviously tired employees, Jimin eagerly ordered, something that he had down to memory without even looking at the menu. As messy as his life was, he was a man of habit. The beer always went on the door of the fridge. He always placed his t-shirts and long sleeve blouses separately in his closet. The toilet paper always went over instead of under, and he always ordered the same thing at Panda Express. The employee at the register lazily took down his order as his gaze shifted over to Mina. He must have assumed that Jimin was paying for her as well, and frankly, he didn't mind. Jimin's eyes cast over to the girl, waiting for her as well.

    Jungkook

Jungkook chuckled. “But you make me smile and laugh,” he said. Honestly, they could probably go stand in a port-a-potty for two hours just staring at each other, and he’d have a good time. Any time spent with her was a good time to him. Even now, he was enjoying himself, especially since they were alone. He knew, though, that it was only a matter of time before Taehyung came home. So maybe he should stop stalling and just get a move on with things. Although, he did want to try and make the moment last forever and relish in it, because it was the happiest he’d been in so long.

He thought it over for a minute, considering what they could do. “Well, I have two tickets for a basketball game next Saturday,” he said. “I was gonna take your brother with me, but you could come with me instead. And then maybe after that we could go get something to eat.” He really wasn’t sure if she was keen on sports or not. He just hoped that if she wasn’t interested, she would say something, because he’d feel awful if he took her out somewhere she didn’t want to go and had a bad time. “Or, if you’re not into that, we could just go see a movie instead. I’m sure there’s something good out.”

He was beginning to realize how sweaty his palms had gotten when his hands slipped out of hers, looking down and chuckling nervously. He wiped his palms on his thighs before he reached up to take his jacket off. “I swear, Taehyung is a psychopath,” he joked, reaching up with the back of his hand to wipe the sweat off his forehead and push his bangs away from his eyes. “He must keep it a thousand degrees in here.”
    Mina

Mina got out of the car and followed Jimin inside the Panda Express, listening to him give his order before realizing they were waiting for her to place her order. She glanced up at Jimin, who didn’t seem to have any issues with it, and she stepped forward, giving the employee her order too. She would just pay Jimin back in the morning for her meal. She didn’t want to seem like a freeloader, since she was also going to be staying at his place for the night too. She noticed the man behind the register staring at her for just a little too long before he went to put in her order, instinctively moving closer to Jimin, almost behind him, and crossing her arms over her chest to cover any excessive cleavage that might be showing. The man probably wasn’t used to seeing women in such attire as what she was currently wearing come in often.

She honestly probably should have brought a jacket with her, but the thought hadn’t even crossed her mind. The way things were panning out definitely hadn’t been part of her plans for the night. But she was glad things were going the way they were, because she got to be with Jimin, instead of sulking alone at the bar all night and probably getting hit on by a bunch of pervy old men. She knew her chest was a bit larger than average, something Lia had always hated her for, and she was used to men staring at her. That didn’t make her feel any less uncomfortable about it, though.

“I’ll pay you back in the morning,” she murmured after a moment, reaching up to gently touch Jimin’s arm to get his attention. There was nothing more she hated than when people bought her things, or spent money on her. She liked to buy gifts for other people, but when people bought her things, it made her feel guilty. Probably because her parents had never spoiled her or her sister when they were little. They were so focused on school that they didn’t have time to go out and do fun things and play with toys.

    Mooni

Mooni weighed Jungkook's offer around in her head; of course she was going to say yes, no matter what he proposed they do. She hadn't ever really sat down and watched basketball, but the thought of sitting in the crowd right next to him, watching him explain what was happening as the game went on...ah, she could watch him talk for hours and never get tired of the way his lips moved, or they way he expressed himself by exaggerating his eyebrows. The idea absolutely mesmerized her, even now when she caught herself staring at his slightly upturned lips.

That idea itself made her realize that at some point on their date, at least after the game, she'd want to be alone with him. Not within a crowd, and not a full restaurant. "My parents are going out of town that weekend on a vacation. I could cook for you." Mooni was certainly no master chef, but had learned from the best; her mother. That way, they could actually be alone. No parents. No Taehyung. Ah, she really needed to move out already, and get her own apartment.

Biting her lip, she glanced to the side, slightly worried he might reject the idea. She didn't know how old-fashioned he was, and if he might think it was too early for them to be in that kind of setting. Yet, here they sat, already alone. Awkwardly, she looked down at her hands that Jungkook so recently held, then over to the TV where her stupid rom-com was playing. Since picking one, she hadn't paid any attention to it. Yet, the two main characters were already kissing. Clearing her throat, she looked back up at Jungkook, "Unless that would be too weird for you?"
    Jimin

"Don't worry about it," Jimin insisted as they now waited for their food, trying not to be offended. He was well off enough to be able to buy somebody a cheap meal without expecting them to pay him back. "Just let me buy you dinner, it's fine," he smirked down at her. Suddenly, he was aware of the fact that he was buying her dinner for the first time, it it was freaking Panda Express. "Sorry it's nothing fancy." It wasn't guilt he felt, but almost embarrassment for not thinking ahead. In truth, Jimin from an hour ago didn't even expect to be taking Mina back to his place, where she would be staying over, and sleeping in one of his shirts.

Maybe that was the embarrassing part for him, that just an hour ago, all he wanted to do was catch up with her. Now, he couldn't contain the frantic thoughts running through his head. He suddenly wanted to make a good impression on her, he was willing to give up his bed for her. Hell, he was even considering how nice it might be to to see her without that shirt on, or perhaps even sleep in his bed with her. She'd only just came back from her hiatus, and he felt more like a teenage boy around her than when he did when he was actually a teenage boy around her.

Wiping his sweaty palms on his jeans, he crossed his arms and cleared his throat, simultaneously trying to clear his mind. Why was he suddenly such a fucking mess? Even more important, was would it get better or worse when they actually got to his place and they were alone. Would he lighten up, or would he become a bumbling idiot like Jungkook got around Mooni? This wasn't right, he had enough experience to keep it together, but he felt like his whole facade was falling apart.

    Jungkook

Jungkook smiled and chuckled softly, shaking his head. “No, no no, that sounds great,” he said, almost a bit too eagerly. “I mean, you don’t have to cook for me. We can cook dinner together.” He liked the idea of them cooking and then sitting down together to enjoy the food they’d just made. He didn’t know why, but the idea just felt so… homey to him. It was a nice thought, though, and now that he was thinking about it, he was getting more excited, and he wished it was Saturday already. And then realization hit him. He was going on a date. With Mooni. Holy shit. Just hours ago, he was struggling to keep his feelings for her a secret, and now they were going on a date. Things had changed pretty quickly, but in a good way.

Now all he could think about was how the date was going to go. He could care less about the basketball game at this point, even though he still wanted to go. He was imagining what they were going to cook, how they were going to cook it, the conversations they would have while cooking, and what they would do afterward. Her parents were out of town and Taehyung wouldn’t be there, so they would be alone in the house together. Where would things go? He got excited thinking about it, the smile on his face spreading. He probably looked like a grinning idiot right now.

He looked down at her, following her gaze to the TV before looking back at her face. “Hey,” he said softly, getting her attention. He bit his lip, feeling a bit nervous again, but managed to keep his composure a lot better than he thought he would. “Can… can I kiss you?” He knew the question was really bold, and he wouldn’t be offended if she said no. Maybe it was too soon, maybe he shouldn’t have asked, but he’d dreamed of kissing her for the longest time, and now that their feelings were out in the open, what was holding them back?
    Mina

Mina hesitated for a moment before finally giving in, nodding her head in agreement. “Alright, fine,” she said. “But next time, I’m buying.” She hadn’t really realized before, but he was buying dinner for her, she guessed. And she didn’t really care that they weren’t at some fancy restaurant with mood lighting and wine, this was good enough for her. Food was food, no matter the setting. It took a few minutes for their food to be ready, and she stepped up to take the bag from the man as Jimin paid, knowing they needed to be a bit speedy before their Uber driver changed his mind and took off without them. She carried the bag out to the car, climbing in and setting it on the center seat between herself and Jimin. Her stomach was already rumbling, and she couldn’t wait to get back to his place so they could eat and chat about things.

The rest of the ride back to his apartment was pretty straightforward and once they got to his apartment, she reached into her purse and pulled her wallet out. She paid the Uber driver before climbing out of the car and grabbing the Panda Express bag. She waited for Jimin, following him inside the building and up the stairs to his apartment. She slipped her heels off at the front door, lining them up neatly against the wall. Once they got in, she took a look around, since she hadn’t really done so the first time. It seemed a bit messy, but she remembered that he’d always been a bit messy, even when they were younger. Just not to this extent. It didn’t bother her, though. Lia’s half of the bedroom they shared had always been a mess and she’d always cleaned up after her sister.

She set the bag of food down on the counter along with her purse. “So, about that shirt,” she said, ready as ever to get out of this dress. She couldn’t wait to actually be able to breathe again.

    Mooni

Mooni had literally wanted to should 'yes!' at him. For years, she'd daydreamed about kissing him. Would the one thing she'd thought about on a daily basis since the day she met him truly become a reality. Subtly, she pinched her arm, just to make sure she was actually awake. Then she realized she spent that entire moment thinking about kissing him, when she could have been doing it instead. As soon as the answer nearly slipped out of her mouth, however, banging erupted at the door, causing Mooni to jump into Jungkook's lap.

"Mooni!" Taehyung called from the other side of his door. "Open up! You took my only key! Aish, she better not be asleep already." Internally, Mooni groaned at the untimely arrival of the one person she knew they both dreaded seeing. Looking down, she realized what she was wearing was especially revealing, and nearly panicked because Jungkook was still there.

"Ah, can I borrow this?" she asked frantically, not waiting to pick up Jungkook's jacket from behind him, and throwing it over herself. While they were both still fully clothed, she didn't want to give Taehyung the wrong impression over what was going on in here. Though, he wouldn't have been entirely wrong; they'd just confessed to each other that they did, in fact have feelings for one another, something Taehyung seemed to openly be against every time she brought up his friend. Once she got up, and got halfway to the front door, she turned around to run back to Jungkook before leaning down and planting a soft kiss on his cheek. "By the way, I was going to say yes."
    Jimin

"Ah, yes, my room is this way," he started heading towards his room so he could let Mina look through his closet and find something she'd be comfortable then. He had to admit, he felt slightly awkward standing in there with her. Because it was already midnight, it was dark outside, leaving only a small lamp with the task of lighting up his entire bedroom. Not that his room was big by any stretch of the imagination. Glancing over at his bed, he couldn't help but notice how intimate it felt in here, just because of her presence.

"I'll, uh, I'm going to make a drink. Or two, I guess," still tense. If he'd been on the outside looking in, he would have cringed so hard watching himself that he would have imploded. Shit, he still even might. Without waiting for Mina's acknowledgement, he slipped out of the room and into his kitchen, where a bunch of liquor bottles were still splayed around on his counter. It took times like this to realize that the messiness of his place was also caused by his friends, he just didn't have the willpower to clean up after them.

Grabbing two glasses from the shelf, he plopped them down on the counter before looking around at what he had. Jimin didn't know what kind of drinks Mina liked, but assumed she'd drink whatever he made. It was clear to him that she was trying hard to be polite, which was something that he really appreciated. After his quick browse, he found that he had sprite and yogurt, which would mix in perfectly with the large quantity of Soju that still remained. Not to mention, it would go well with their dinner. Already needing to feel this drink going down his throat, he quickly began to mix the drink, trying to remember the mixing ratios from the last time he'd looked at a recipe.

    Jungkook

Jungkook cursed under his breath when Taehyung pounded on the front door, watching Mooni get up. His cheeks burned bright red when she kissed him on the cheek, and he smiled to himself. But then it hit him that Taehyung was home, and he was still here, and Mooni was in her pajamas. He quickly jumped off the couch, rubbing his palms on his jeans as he looked around. What excuse would he give? Maybe that Mooni had been a bit too tipsy, so he decided to stay around to make sure she was okay until Taehyung got home? Yeah, that sounded good. He walked to the front door, watching as Mooni unlocked it and opened it for her brother.

“Good, you’re still awake,” Taehyung said as he walked inside, looking from Mooni, to Jungkook. “You’re still here.”

Jungkook quickly nodded his head. “Yeah,” he mumbled. “Mooni was kind of drunk, and I was afraid she would end up hurt, so I asked if I could stay until you got back and she said it was okay. I just wanted to make sure she was okay. But you’re here now, so I can go.”

Taehyung glanced back over his shoulder out the door before looking back at Jungkook. “Ah, no,” he said. “Why don’t you sleep on the couch? It’s safer inside.”

Jungkook was a bit surprised by Taehyung’s offer, but he wasn’t about to say no. “Really? I don’t want to impose,” he said.

“Yeah,” Taehyung said. “It’s the least I could do since you stayed to help Mooni.”

Jungkook smiled and nodded his head. “Yeah, okay. Thanks.”
    Mina

Mina was aware of how tense Jimin suddenly, seemed, wondering if it had something to do with her. She watched him leave the room before she slipped out of her dress, laying it across his bed. She walked over to the closet and sifted through all the clothes, finding a shirt that looked comfortable, but was also long enough to reach her thighs. She pulled it off the hanger and set it down on the bed before reaching behind her back to unhook the strapless bra that she was wearing. There was no need to have it on anymore now that they weren’t out in public. She picked the shirt up and pulled it on, taking a moment to smell the fabric. It smelled nice and fresh, and just like Jimin. It was long enough to just cover her crotch, sitting at the top of her thighs. She considered trying to find some shorts or pants to wear, but she didn’t think it was that big of a deal. Besides, she already felt bad enough that she had to borrow a shirt.

She grabbed her dress and her bra, hanging them over her arm and walking out to the living room. She laid her clothes across the back of the couch before making her way to the kitchen where Jimin was, mixing drinks. “I don’t know about you, but I’m starving,” she said, grabbing the bag with their food and setting it on the counter in front of her. She began unpacking the food, deciding to just go ahead and make herself at home. There was no point in asking him where everything was while he was busy, so she walked around the counter and looked through the cabinets until she found plates. She made their plates, breaking the chopsticks and looking up at him. “Are we gonna eat in the living room or at the table?”

Everything just felt so natural, both of them just making themselves at home and doing their own thing. It almost felt as if she never left, but there was still that voice in the back of her head that reminded her that she did in fact leave. And now she felt like she had seven years worth of time to make up to him, and she had no idea how she was going to do it.

    Mooni

"You should go to sleep, Mooni," Taehyung added before stumbling back to his room and slamming the door. Mooni was in complete shock about Taehyung being so passive about Jungkook staying here, alone with her. Even more so when he suggested that he stayed here over night. When Taehyung proceeded to leave them alone, she was certain that at some point she'd slipped into an alternate reality. Still, continuing to give each other googly eyes in the living room when her brother was just behind a door was risky. On the other hand, she couldn't get the thought of kissing him out of her head. Did he really want to kiss her?

Ah, this was so frustrating. The more time she was around him, the less confident she felt, and the more nervous she became. Soon enough, her palms would become just as sweaty as his had been. Before that happened, she needed to act fast. Say something, anything. "I guess I'm going to sleep then," Mooni sighed, looking at Jungkook before looking over at the couch. Before Taehyung had gotten a bed for his guest room, she'd spent a couple of nights trying to sleep on it.

It was absolutely the most uncomfortable pile of rocks, pretending to be a couch, that she'd ever laid her head on.

"When your back starts to hurt, my door will be unlocked," she smiled sweetly at him, retreating to her room before Jungkook had a chance to see how red her face was probably getting. She could only guess by how hot her face felt. After closing her door, she took off Jungkook's jacket, which she'd forgotten that she even had on, and hung it on her bed post before taking off her shirt to change into a more comfortable t-shirt.
    Jimin

"Well," Jimin said, taking a small sip of one of the drinks to see how it tasted, "I like to watch TV while I eat." Most of his friends thought this was a really weird habit, but sitting at a table while he ate just felt...lonely. This on the other hand - Mina making their plates while she wore one of his shirts - made his apartment feel different than it ever had. It almost felt like a home, even though it was still a burning dumpster fire. It gave him hope that maybe his life didn't have to be so isolated, and that he could finally share it with somebody. How was this woman having such a strong effect on him? Showing up in his life, and suddenly he wanted to change it to be with her. To be better for her. In reality, all they were doing was eating dinner together.

"Are you comfortable now?" Jimin asked, following her into his living room. When she'd first emerged from his room, he immediately noticed that his shirt just barely covered up her thighs. It most certainly did not cover up her ass, however. The next thing that came into view was the clothes she'd changed out of hanging across her couch, a cute little bra on top, out in full display. His face grew hot, and he desperately needed a moment to cool down. "I think I'm going to change, too," he declared, setting the drinks down on the coffee table next to the controllers. He'd hoped she be able to figure his TV out alone, because he couldn't get out of that room fast enough. After hiding out in his room, he switched his jeans out for a pair of sweats only to observe his erection was completely noticeable.

"Are you fucking serious?" his whispered to himself, giving the stink eye at his mound, willing it to go down. This was most certainly turning out to be the worst night already, when he had hoped things would go so differently. Looking over at his bed, he saw his blanket, and decided to grab it so he could at least hide his autonomous member.

    Jungkook

Jungkook had come to the conclusion that Taehyung was too drunk to fully assess the situation, and that’s why he’d agreed to let him stay the night. At least, that seemed to be what made the most sense to him. “Oh, um, goodnight,” he said, watching Mooni walk down the hall. After he heard her door shut, he sat down on the couch, thinking to himself. Was that an invitation to go into her room? That was so dangerous. What if Taehyung came to check on her and caught them? The thought kind of excited him, though. He was sometimes a bit of a thrill-seeker. He reached over and grabbed the remote, turning the TV off before he switched the lamp off. He laid down on the couch, making a face at how uncomfortable it was.

While he’d had many sleepovers at Taehyung’s house when they were younger, he’d yet to stay the night at his apartment, and he was glad that he hadn’t, because this couch felt like a rock. He knew it wouldn’t be good for his back. He tossed and turned for a good twenty minutes before finally huffing in frustration. He sat up, looking towards the hallway. This is a bad idea. You’re gonna regret this. But he didn’t care in that moment. He pushed himself up and cautiously walked down the hall, stopping in front of the guest room. He grabbed a hold of the doorknob and twisted it slowly, pushing the door open and slipping inside. He turned and closed the door, waiting for the doorknob to click before he turned back to face the bed.

He hesitated for a moment before stepping towards the bed, his legs carrying him at this point. He stopped at the side of her bed and ignored the voice in the back of his head screaming at him to turn around and go back to the couch. He laid down on the bed beside her, his heart pounding in his chest. “Hi,” he whispered, his cheeks burning hot.
    Mina

Mina smiled and nodded her head. “Yeah, thank you,” she murmured. She watched him scurry down the hall, biting her lip nervously. She was kind of worried about him. Ever since they’d gotten in the Uber, he’d been acting strange. She was worried that she’d done something to make him uncomfortable and that he was just too kind to say anything about it. She looked at the TV remote, debating whether to go check on him for a few moments before eventually deciding to do so. She wanted to make sure that he was okay, and that it was still okay for her to be here. Because if he didn’t want her there, she would gladly take her leave. The last thing she wanted was to intrude on his space. She got up and walked down the hall, knocking on his door before slowly cracking it open. “Jimin?” She peeked inside, just in time to catch him grabbing a blanket.

Her brows furrowed, wondering what on earth he was doing. “Jimin, are you okay?” she asked, slipping inside the bedroom. “You seem uncomfortable. If you don’t want me here, I can leave, you know.” She stepped closer to him and looked down, her eyes widening slightly when she realized what exactly was wrong. He had an erection, and the sweatpants he was wearing weren’t doing anything to help conceal it. “Oh.” Her cheeks burned bright red, averting her gaze to the floor. Was that because of her? Of course it was, how could she be so stupid. She was practically half naked walking around his apartment.

“I’m sorry,” she quickly apologized, feeling guilty for walking in on him at such an intimate moment. She shouldn’t have just barged in, she should have waited for him to answer, but she was just too nosy for her own good sometimes. She looked up at him after a moment, her heart beating a bit faster and her stomach swirling with butterflies. She’d never felt this way before, but it excited her. “Do… you want me to fix it?”

    Mooni

Mooni choked back a giggle once Jungkook had found his way to her bed. The bed itself was pretty big, but she didn't have to be right next to him to know that he was laying on top of the covers, not saving even an inch between him and the edge of the bed. He'd seemingly conjured enough courage to come join her, but also appeared to be hesitant. Mooni wanted him to know that she wanted him there, and that it was okay to get comfortable, even with the risk of her brother walking in. With that thought in mind, she crawled out of bed to lock the door and turn the ceiling fan on before slowly making her way back. Because her eyes had already adjusted to the dark, she could see that he was stiff as a floorboard as he lay down, probably with his shoes still on. Perhaps the introduction of cold air would coerce him into joining her underneath the covers.

But she didn't want to rely on that. He'd done enough by coming in here, she just hoped he wanted to be in here because of her, and not only because of the couch. "I didn't just invite you in here so you wouldn't have to sleep on the couch," she whispered back, scratching her tummy because her t-shirt was itchier than she remembered. She even considered changing it, even with Jungkook laying right there next to her closet. Part of her didn't even care, the thought of him seeing her felt exciting.

Scooting closer to him, enough that she could feel his heat even though they weren't touching, she tried to focus in on his face to see if his eyes were open, or if he were actually trying to sleep. As the cold air hit her skin, she huddled up under her blanket, a perfect hiding spot for how embarrassed she was about to feel. "You can give me that kiss now."
    Jimin

"I...uh," Jimin looked back down at himself, realizing he'd been too late to hide behind the blanket. He certainly didn't want to seem embarrassed about it, even though he was, especially not in his own apartment. Then he'd remembered what Mina said earlier, that if something were to happen between them, she wouldn't be upset about it. As he said, neither would he. Clearly, his body was just a step ahead of him. Of course, he had wanted to be more romantic before the thought of them becoming intimate, but here here she was; offering herself to him. He wasn't going to be a fool and say no, he just needed to remember how to talk.

Refusing to become a bumbling idiot, he dropped his blanket, allowing the heat to drain from his face. Even after a moment of awkwardness, it wasn't too late to rebound and become a man. Following the blanket, he discarded his shirt onto the floor, revealing the muscles he hid underneath his clothes, including a set of abs he got from sheer luck...and a fast metabolism. This would be their first time together, and he wasn't going to act like a fucking virgin.

He slowly strutted towards her, almost predatory to make up for how childish he had just acted, until the distance between them disappeared before staring down at her for a moment, the only thing moving being their chests as they breathed. "Only if I get to make you wet first," he claimed. Jimin not only disliked the idea of her feeling obligated to have sex with him, but she wanted her to know that he wanted her. Obviously, she already knew that thanks to his sweats. Not waiting for her answer, he used one hand to cup her jawline as he grazed his own lips against Mina's before closing in on them hungrily. With his other hand, he found her ass, pushing their waists together, successfully rubbing his erection against her.

    Jungkook

Jungkook watched her move in the darkness, kind of glad that she’d locked her door because that thought hadn’t even crossed his mind. When she laid back down, he looked at her, only able to see the outline of her body. He blushed when he heard her words, thinking he might as well be a tomato at this point with the amount of times she’d made him blush only in one night. He hesitated for a moment before he kicked his shoes off, lifting the blanket up and slipping underneath. Once he got comfortable, he reached out, trying to find her face. Once he did, he cupped her cheek in his hand, allowing him to lean in. All he could think about was if his breath was bad or not. God, he hoped it wasn’t bad, because that would be horrible.

Being in the dark made it a lot easier for him to kiss her, not having to look her in the eye or have her fully see him and how awkward he probably looked. When he felt the tips of their noses brush, he tilted his head forward, allowing their lips to finally meet. The butterflies in his stomach nearly exploded, and he had to stop himself from grinning at how giddy he felt. He was kissing the girl of his dreams. Sure, it wasn’t ideal, and it was in complete darkness, but that kind of made it a bit easy and less awkward for him. He just hoped it was as good for her as it was for him.

As he was kissing her, though, he remembered her telling him that she hadn’t been in a relationship ever before. Did that mean she’d never been kissed either? Was he her first kiss? If that were the case, then that was definitely another ego boost for him, but he wouldn’t say anything about it. If she wanted to bring it up, then he’d let her, but he didn’t want to say anything to embarrass her. Besides, he’d only ever kissed one other girl before, and to be honest, she wasn’t the best kisser. She always put her teeth in it, and that had made it especially awkward when they’d tried to have sex.
    Mina

Mina felt weak in the knees, reaching up to grab onto his shoulders as she kissed him back, her stomach doing flips. She hadn’t felt this way in so long, probably years. Her body was craving his touch, needing to feel his skin against hers. She pulled back for a breath, grazing her fingertips over his chest and running her eyes over his body, admiring his build. Back when they were younger, he definitely didn’t seem like the type that would have abs, but seeing him here now, it suited him so well. His body looked so perfect, and she knew he must have a lot of restraint to keep it in such good condition. She looked back up at him as she hooked her fingers around the waistband of his sweatpants, tugging them down until they reached his thighs, releasing them so they could fall the rest of the way to his ankles.

She reached down, grabbing the hem of his shirt, pulling it off of her body and tossing it aside onto the floor. She became aware of just how naked she was in that moment, in front of him. Her old best friend. The boy she grew up with. She blushed deeply, looking down and letting out a small laugh. Never in her teenage years did she think she would be in this position with him right now. But god, did she want him. Now wasn’t the time to be coy. She looked back up at him before she attached her lips to his again, lifting her hand to tangle her fingers in his hair. She pressed her body up against his, the feeling of their skin pressed against one another sending a chill down her spine.

When she pulled away again to catch her breath, she backed away from him and quickly removed her underwear so that she was fully naked. She moved onto his bed and grabbed his hand, pulling him toward her. “You have no idea how badly I want you,” she murmured, snaking her arms around his waist and pressing her lips to his neck. It had been ages since she’d been intimate with anyone. She hadn’t been able to date while she was in school, not that she really wanted to, but she hadn’t even really had the time for hookups either. So there was definitely some pent-up sexual tension and hormones being released.
