At first, Liv had been hesitant to move to her boyfriend’s hometown. Sure, Hawaii was one thing—the weather was always nice and it was like you were on a permanent vacation. But Maryland? Having been Florida born and bred, Liv had never lived in a northern state. She went from Miami, Florida, to Los Angeles where she met Zack, and then the couple moved to Hawaii together. But Liv could tell that this move meant a lot to Zack, so she gave it the green light. Her mother thought she was crazy. “Olivia Margaret, you’ve never even owned a winter coat! Do you know what kind of frozen hell hole you’re going to be living in?” was the reaction that Liv got when she called her mother to tell her the news.

Slowly, things started getting real. They picked out a house and made an offer. They bought their plane tickets home and packed up all of their things. And before Liv knew it, they were flying over the pacific towards her new life. As soon as they touched down, though, all of Liv’s fears and anxiety about a new state subsided. Not only was the scenery breathtakingly beautiful but Zack’s family was incredibly welcoming. They made Liv feel right at home in Towson.

After Zack’s parents had taken the couple out to dinner, everyone else from the ATL crew (plus Alex’s daughter Bowie because free labor) came over to help the friends unpack and get everything settled, which turned into the friends just sitting around in the living room, eating pizza and telling Liv embarrassing stories about Zack before they’d gotten together. Before everyone knew it, it was well past midnight. Rian and Sienna as well as Alex, Elise and Bowie headed home. But Jack (of course) drank a little more than everyone, so Liv parked him in the guest room. Once he was knocked out, Liv headed back into the living room and flopped down on the couch, a yawn leaving her mouth.

“If he pukes on my new carpet, you’re cleaning it up.” She spoke.

Living in Hawaii was always his dream. When Liv said she would go with him - it made it even better. They had only been together a short time but he knew he wanted everything with her and he needed to share Hawaii with the one he loved. If it was up to him - they would still be there. But life had different plans for him. His parents were getting older and then his father had a heart attack. Not only did he want to be there for his father while he healed, help his mom so she isn't so stressed, but also because he realizes that they won't be there forever. So even if he loved being in Hawaii being super hippy dippy with Liv, he knew at the end of the day, he needed to go home.

He was always lucky that Liv was the one. She never questioned the move. They found their perfect house - the one that was ultra Amerrickan (i had to, i'm sorry. XD ). It was down the street from all their friends and family. All of them were welcoming and even though they moved in when it was already starting to see snow, the weather was definitely a welcomed changed from what they had been used to. Even if he couldn't wear his shorts 24/7 like he was used to. He was so excited that he could show Liv his old stomping grounds and spend it with her.

When all of the crew came over, Zack felt himself recluse a little bit. Even if he was in a highly-successful band, he could never shake the feeling of hating large groups of people. He drank a little bit, but mainly focused on bringing furniture in and putting his muscles to work since every other person sucked at helping lift heavy things, other than Bowie. He didn't know what her mom had been feeding her or what they did in Maine, but damn, that girl had some muscle on her. Even if she was only 13, he was tempted to make her his new gym buddy. Then he remembered how weird that would be. Once everything was moved into the house and people began dwindling, he found himself catching up on stupid high school bullshit with the guys and drinking. Almost everyone was back in Baltimore, even Jack found himself spending more time in Maryland than LA and was also even thinking about buying a home here soon.

But for now, he over drank as he usually did, and Liv escorted him into their new guest room. Being the amazing boyfriend he tried to be, he made a bag of popcorn and put m&m's in it, their staple movie piece. The popcorn was a healthier snack choice for him, while the m&m's were sweet for her. As she plopped down on the couch, he laughed, handing her a beer from the move and clinking it with his while he looked down at her. "Heres to a happy move, and for me being a master at cleaning Jack's puke out of carpets." He winked, kissing her softly before chugging some of his beer.

"To a happy move and a puke free carpet," Liv spoke, returning the kiss before sipping her own beverage. "I'm just glad everything made it over here without breaking." One of Liv's main concerns was getting everything across the ocean with minimal damage-- but thankfully everything arrived safely. Not only did everything make it to Towson safely, but the guys managed not to break anything on top of that, for which Liv was thankful. The tiny brunette grabbed her blanket off the back of the couch and covered both herself and Zack before leaning into his side, sighing comfortably. "So remind me, how in the hell did I get roped into hosting Thanksgiving? The guys are aware I've never cooked a Turkey, yeah?" She joked.

It had all happened so quickly. Liv was sitting in the kitchen with Sienna, just bullshitting about everything going on. She let it slip that she sort of felt like an outsider among the group, due to being about six years younger and not going to Towson High with everyone. And the next thing she knew, she was hosting Thanksgiving for everybody. She was a little apprehensive, having never cooked for that many people before. But Sienna assured her that everything would be fine, and she'd come over to help if need be. And for that, Liv was grateful.

"Babe, I'm gonna be completely honest with you-- I didn't put the sheets on the bed earlier. And I don't feel like getting up, so let's just sleep on the couch, yeah?" Liv yawned, moving so she was laying down with her head in Zack's lap. These were the moments that she loved more than anything, when it was just her and Zack spending quiet time together. She knew what to expect when it came to dating a musician, that the quiet moments were few and far between. That just made her treasure them that much more. She took some popcorn from the bucket that Zack brought for them to snack on, munching happily. "So, I know you're probably gonna say no, but the girls and I need someone with a lot of muscles to come shopping with us on Black Friday. You in, babe?"
