Cause every night she studies hard in her room
At least that's what her parents assume
But she sneaks out the window to meet with her boyfriend

Luke's eyes swept across the classroom that he'd set up, and mentally, he congratulated himself on a job well done. He wanted to make the learning environment a fun one, and in an art classroom, it was an easy task to complete. He'd painted the closet doors - with permission from the principle - with a replica of Starry Night by Van Gogh, and the classroom already seemed to be so much brighter with no dusty, old fashioned nets to hang in front of the windows. Nodding to himself in satisfaction, he glanced down at his papers, and noted that his first day of being a teacher, if only a substitute, was starting off easy: with a class of seniors. Tying his blonde curls into a bun with the hair tie that always occupied his wrist, Luke's dimpled smile showed as he promised to himself he was going to make this fun.

Melody neatened out her skirt as she walked in a steady pace beside Liana, the pair a step ahead of their friends. The new school semester was looking to be the same, as always: boring. Melody had once enjoyed learning, having had a particular talent in music, and yet, stern teachers and god-awful students had sucked all the fun from it. Frowning with the thought, Melody hitched her book bag further up her shoulder, looking to Liana. "I have music first period," she groaned; knowing her best friend understood her love hate relationship with the subject. "You wanna trade?" Turning around then to face her friends, Melody smirked, walking backwards. "Anyone wanna trade class? I'll take anything!"

Ashton had been looking forward to teaching without the watchful eye of his university professor studying his every move, but now that it was actually happening and he was taking charge of his own classroom, he suddenly wished that he could reverse time and go back to just before his graduation. He had seniors for the first lesson of the day, and although he'd heard rumours that they were the easiest group to deal with, his own experience had said otherwise. He'd chosen to teach Creative Writing, a degree he'd earned himself, and not many seniors seemed to be that interested in the subject. Ashton thought it was incredible, how writing could take you to a world of your own, and how you could build a world so easily; and yet young minds just couldn't seem to appreciate that the human brain was so capable of such wonders. He'd be surprised if there was one student who actually cared about what he had to teach. "Okay Ash," he spoke to himself, straightening out his hair, the sleeves of his shirt rolled up to his elbow. "Calm down."

Finley wondered how the last year of school was going to go. The previous year had been difficult, and she'd gotten into trouble countless times for her bad attitude, and yet, Finley still didn't care. All she wanted to do now was finish this year with a good grade - better than last year's B - and get out of this hell hole as quickly as she could. Being brought out of her thoughts with Melody's words, Finley looked to her group of friends with a giggle. "How dramatic is she?" Finley asked, her hands stuffed into the pockets of her denim jacket, her backpack hauled over her shoulder lazily. Twirling a strand of hair around her finger, Finley hummed. "I quite like Home Economics, though!"

Harry fixed the cuffs of his shirt as he allowed himself to sit down at the teacher's desk, overlooking the classroom. It was still surreal, how not long ago, he'd been a student himself, and now he was trusted to command his own classroom of students, and he hoped his first bunch would be kind on him. He had quite an interesting lesson plan - or so he thought - for the year ahead, and starting it off with a documentary was a sure fire way to get students to like him, because who wanted to write until their wrist hurt on the first day back at school? Spinning in his chair, Harry looked at the ceiling, wondering to himself if he'd be able to influence any students to love history, to spark some sort of interest within them, the way his own teachers did. He'd consider himself an accomplished teacher if he could. Standing up, Harry neatened out his appearance, going to the blackboard to write WELCOME BACK! in large letters with a dimpled smile.

Ruby shook her head in amusement with Melody's words, preparing to break away from her group of friends to head down to the lockers. "You think that's bad?" Ruby challenged. "I have P.E for the first lesson. Who puts a student through such torture?" Ruby pouted with the thought, because the last thing she wanted to do on a damned Monday morning was run, or do any other kind of physical activity that wasn't sleeping. Pulling away from her friends, Ruby groaned, running a hand through her hair. "Alright girls, I'll see you later." Ruby smiled. "Have fun!"

Liana offered an amused look to Melody as they walked. "There's no way I'm trading," she told her, "I have Art - and as much as I hate Mr. Collins, my parents really want me to stick to what I love, so…" She shrugged slightly, offering an apologetic look to Melody. "Maybe things will turn around and you'll end up living music again. There's always the possibility, you know?" But, she supposed it wasn’t her place in the end, so she offered a smile and nodded Ruby’s words. “Yeah, I think I’m gonna head off, too. See you guys after class.” Waving slightly, she made her way to Art, feeling a slight nervousness fill her. Mr. Collins seemed to always personally target her and her artwork, and she worried this year might break what little love she had left for art when it used to be her favorite thing in the world.

Michael peered around his classroom, making sure all the instruments were clean and prepared for the students that would be filling the classroom soon. Admittedly, he was nervous about his first lesson, especially since it was with all seniors, but he hoped it would go well - and, more than anything, he hoped the students ended up enjoying the class. He’d already figured out what he wanted for the first lesson, to give the students a chance to really express themselves and let them make original pieces of their own that they could play and edit throughout the semester until they were fully satisfied with them, and he was certain that every piece would be a masterpiece. Smiling with the thought, he situated everything at his desk and went to unlock the door, opening it so that his students could come in, though he stayed at the door, wanting to greet the students he was meant to teach throughout the semester, wanting them to be greeted with a friendly face for their first class of the day.

Rosalin listened to her friends, taking in the conversation quietly. She’d never been the most outgoing of the group - and, personally, she was pretty sure that was why her mind was drawn to creative writing more than anything else. But, she really did love her friends and enjoyed spending time with them, especially in moments like this, and she offered an amused look to Melody. “Sorry, I don’t think I could give up Creative Writing for anything in the world,” she said honestly, lifting her shoulders in a small shrug. “But, if you get bored, you could always text one of us? I’m sure none of us would mind keeping you occupied.” She nudged her friend gently but looked over when she spotted her class. “Alright, I’m off.” She waved to her friends before she made her way to the Creative Writing class to walk inside quietly.

Calum knew that it was probably odd for a man to teach a class like Home Economics, but he loved going against pre-conceived gender roles - plus, he liked to think that he was going to be pretty damn good at his job. He’d used his own money to get new supplies for the classroom, and he’d gotten new recipe books for the classroom, and he was assured that the semester would be a good one, and he hoped to ensure that all of his students enjoyed the lessons and the class as much as he was sure he’d enjoy teaching. His first class would be full of seniors and he knew that should probably intimidate him, but it just made him all the more determined and certain, wanting to make sure that he left the best impression he could, because he wanted his students to be glad that they chose this class. And, he was sure that many students were taking the class because it seemed like an easy A, but he hoped to find students who enjoyed it because it was fun - or to make the class so enjoyable that students started liking it, even hopeful that maybe some students would develop such a love for it that the class became their favorite.

Alesia ran her fingers through her hair as she walked with her friend, trying to ignore her own nervous tick. Smiling over at Melody weakly, she lifted her shoulders in a small shrug. “I’ll trade with you,” she offered easily, “You know I have trouble keeping up with History.” And, it wasn’t because she didn’t like History or because she thought it was boring - so much happened in History, and she couldn’t keep up with the dates or cultures most of the time. Breathing out quietly, she let out a sigh. “But it’s probably not a good idea. Other students wouldn’t waste a moment in ratting us out.” Lifting her gaze, she settled her attention ahead as they walked. “Maybe it won’t be so bad this year, though?” She offered a smile to Melody, hoping to be reassuring, or to at least get her friend to be hopeful, too. “I’m sure you’ll do great.” And, seeing that everybody else was already splitting off, she nodded. “I’ll see you guys later.” She waved as she headed to her own class.

Louis was in the coach’s office, scanning over the roll sheet and making sure that he got everything he’d need for the first class. He didn’t want to start things off too hard, especially when it was the students’ first class of the day, so he just planned to have them do a few exercises and do a lap around the field, mostly to get them to fully wake up. He figured he could offer the chance to play a game, too, if the students felt up to it, but he wanted to make the first day back as easy as possible for the students. With it being his first year - and the first class he’d ever officially teach alone, - he wanted to leave a good and lasting impression. Seeing the time, he knew students would start arriving soon, and he made his way out of the coach’s office to head to the gym, waiting on the court and making sure the gym looked clean and ready for the year to begin. Standing there alone, though, he could feel his heart swell with the knowledge that this was it - he was finally accomplishing his dream, and he couldn’t help but to be rather happy with the realization, looking forward to the year.

Luke glanced to the clock to see that it was almost time for class to begin, and he felt something he couldn't quite describe jolt within his chest - but excitement was definitely something he could identify easily. Making his way to the classroom door, Luke pulled it open, already surprised to three students waiting outside. "Hi guys," he greeted happily. "Come in. I'm Mr Hemmings, your teacher for this year." And moving aside for the students to make their way in, he noticed how they marveled at the newly decorated classroom, and Luke already felt he'd done something right. Hearing footsteps approaching the door, Luke couldn't help but smile, because he was eager to greet his students, eager to make everyone feel comfortable with him, because he wanted them to know that he was there to encourage and support them, not drag them down or spit on their talents. His own Art teacher had been cruel, and Luke swore he would never be so mean. Going to the door, Luke's gaze fell upon a beautiful young woman, and dammit, Luke had to blink himself out of his shock. "Hi there," He offered a smile, offering his hand for the gorgeous girl to shake, knowing why he wanted to make just a little more effort with her. "I'm Mr Hemmings, your teacher for this year. Welcome to your new and improved Art lesson." He winked, corners of his mouth lifting into a smile as he mentally chastised himself for finding a student attractive.

Melody rolled her eyes playfully as her friends began to break away from each other. "At least Alesia loves me," she teased. "But have a good morning, you guys. Love you!" Melody lifted her hand in a parting wave, amused. Melody hoped her friends were right though, and that music might just be a little better this year, by some damned miracle. Miss Lewis had been the one that made Melody resent her own passion, always giving Melody detention for no reason other than the fact that she could, and always telling her that she would never make it anywhere in life with her 'horrid attitude'. Surely teachers were meant to encourage their students. Making her way to the music classroom, Melody saw that the door of her usual classroom was already open, and furrowing her eyebrows, she stepped forward, blinking in surprise when she saw someone who was the complete opposite of Miss Lewis. "Uh, hi?" Melody raised her eyebrows as she studied the man, who Melody could admit to herself, was fucking gorgeous. "Are you the teacher for this classroom?" God, she hoped so.

Ashton sat at his desk, reading over his lesson plan for the upcoming year for what must of been the thousandth time. It had all seemed so easy in theory, but now, he wasn't so sure - but it would be worth it if he could make the year of, at least, one student. Smiling to himself with the hopeful thought, Ashton lifted his head as he heard the door handle turn, and he offered a gentle smile as a beautiful girl stepped into the classroom, with gentle eyes and a soft exterior. Feeling his heart swell with just the sight of her. Ashton knew that these thoughts couldn't occupy his head for too long - she was clearly a student, and as a figure of authority, he would lose the job he worked so hard for if anyone caught on to the fact that Ashton wouldn't mind waking up to such an angelic face each morning. "Good morning," Ashton spoke softly, sensing that this girl was someone to be approached carefully. He couldn't help but wonder what her voice sounded like, already wanting to commit the sound to memory to ease his fleeting thoughts. Standing to his feet, Ashton held out his hand to shake as he approached her. "I'm Mr Irwin, your new Creative Writing teacher." And Ashton hoped that she would be in each of his lessons, wondering how magnificent her mind was to have chosen this particular class. "Please, sit down. I think I've got a great lesson for you guys to come back to." Ashton studied her with a gentle gaze. "I'd love your opinion on something..."

Finley waved at her departing friends as she smiled to herself in amusement as she began to head towards Home Economics, a lesson that she particularly enjoyed, despite her attitude. She wasn't destined to become anyone's stay at home wife, but Finley found cooking a great way to free herself from stress, and a new academic year meant that they would be learning more complex recipes. Pushing open the classroom door, Finley shut it softly behind her, offering a gentle smile to the man sat at the teacher's desk. It was a pleasant surprise, to see a man willing to teach what many considered to be a woman's subject. "Howdy, teach." She greeted with confidence, having to keep up the exterior that so many people knew her for. "It's nice to see a pair of balls in that chair, I got sick of the bitch that taught last year." Finley spoke as if she'd been friends with the man for years, dropping her bag on her usual seat. "But hey, we can't like everyone, huh? I'm Finley. I guess I'm breaking gender roles by having a boy's name."

Harry stepped away from the blackboard just in time for the classroom door to open, and as he looked over, he felt his interest pique in a way it never had before. The first student Harry saw as a qualified teacher, and she was possibly the most beautiful creature he'd ever laid eyes on. And silently, Harry chastised himself for even having those kind of thoughts, but he was drawn to this girl in a way he couldn't possibly explain without sounding odd. "Hi there," Harry greeted easily, trying not to let his feelings become obvious. There was no way love at first sight existed. "I'm Mr Styles, your new History teacher." His smile softened as he saw that she seemed a little hesitant, her body language giving her away in ways her own words couldn't. "Not a fan of History?" And Harry couldn't say that he didn't find her reluctance disappointing, but he understood. History spanned for as long as humans had began to document things, and there was so much to learn, and so much to appreciate with just how far humanity had progressed without the intervention of something much more intelligent and bigger than them. That was just one of the reasons Harry enjoyed the subject so much. "Why don't you sit down? I promise, this lesson is easy." And he wondered if she struggled at all during her previous years of school, if something had turned her attitude sour towards the subject. He swore to himself, if he found out that was the reason why she seemed to be so nervous, that he would help her through it one way or the other.

Ruby walked across the running track as she hitched her bag further up her shoulder, her hair tied up into a neat ponytail, ready for the morning full of laps that Ms Trudy was probably going to set - that horrid woman never failed to torture her students, why would a new academic year be any different? Frowning with the thought, Ruby pushed open the gym doors to make her way to the girls' changing room, shutting the door behind her, pausing as she saw a man stood underneath the basketball hoops. "Oh, uh," she raised an eyebrow. "Hi. Are you looking for Ms Trudy?" She asked, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear, her heart swelling at the sight of the man with the sweet smile, but Ruby couldn't help but feel hopeful that maybe that old hag had finally stepped down, and this was her replacement. Ruby certainly wouldn't mind running laps for this gorgeous man.

Liana, upon entering her Art classroom, was mildly surprised by the sight of the man that greeted her. He was definitely not Mr. Collins. No, this man was gorgeous beyond compare, in ways that Liana couldn’t even begin to describe, and it had her stunned for a moment, but she did her best not to let it throw her off. “Liana Noble,” she introduced herself with a small smirk, placing her hand in his to shake his hand, admittedly enjoying the way his skin felt against hers, and she already imagined what it would feel like to have his skin against hers in more intimate ways. But, she forced those thoughts from her mind - she knew better than to let thoughts like those get her distracted, it wasn’t like she could ever actually be with this man, even though she found herself suddenly craving it. “It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Hemmings. I’ll be looking forward to your class, I’m sure.”

Michael looked up when he heard somebody walking in, though he found himself surprised when his gaze settled on the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. Standing suddenly - a little too eagerly, he was sure, - he couldn’t help but to smile as he watched her, despite realizing fairly easily and fairly quickly that she was a student and he should definitely not be attracted to her, though he couldn’t help it. When greeted with the sight of her, who could ever not fall head over heels as quickly as he felt himslef falling? “Hi, sorry, yeah, I am,” he confirmed with a nod as he made his way over, his smile brightening and broadening as he drew closer, something about being in her presence providing a certain… Calm and happiness that he didn’t really expect. “I’m Mr. Clifford.” He watched her for a moment, taking her in, though he did his best not to be too obvious about it. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, um…” He held his hand out, waiting for a name, arching a brow to prompt her.

Rosalin had blinked when she’d walked into her classroom, only to spot a stranger there instead of the teacher she was used to. An attractive stranger at that. Blinking with surprise, she found herself watching him in a way she definitely wasn’t intending to, and she ducked her head a bit to avoid making her teacher uncomfortable in any way, though she found herself attracted to him in a way she shouldn’t be. As she listened to him, she realized he’d come closer, and she blinked, lifting her gaze before offering a small nod. “Rosalin Haines,” she introduced after a moment before placing her hand in his to shake his hand before clearing her throat, “It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Irwin.” She took him in for a moment before shifting, dropping her hand back to her side, though she ducked her head when he noticed his attention so focused on her. “Uh, sure, what do you need my opinion on?”

Calum sat up when he heard a voice, startled out of his thoughts suddenly, his mind taking note of how melodic the voice sounded, almost addictive, and he looked over towards the source, surprise settling on his features when he caught sight of the beautiful young woman who stood there. “Oh, hi,” he greeted, offering a smile as he stood up, watching her, and he took a moment to just take her in before he made his way over, wanting to be near her, though he tried to not be too obvious about that. He chuckled, though, to her words, and he rubbed the back of his neck. “I’m not entirely sure the school allows that kind of language, but I’ll let it pass this once. But, I’m looking forward to teaching this class, I’m sure everybody needs a break from the conventional, anyway.” He smiled as he watched her and offered his hand out to her, his eyes taking her in happily. “I’m Mr. Hood, by the way. It’s really great to meet you.”

Alesia looked up when she heard a voice greet her, one she didn’t recognize, and she blinked with surprise as she watched him, pausing with surprise, because she hadn’t expected to find somebody like him teaching a class like this. He was handsome, nearly perfect, seemingly flawless, and she wasn’t sure whether she was dreaming or not. Shaking her head, she offered a small smile. “Alesia Morse,” she introduced as she watched him, though her expression fell a bit when she heard his question, and she shifted a bit, making a slight face. “It’s not that I don’t like it… I just… Struggle to keep up with it all… I can’t keep it all in line in my mind, in order or anything, it just… It’s hard.” She frowned at her admission, watching him for a moment, but when he suggested sitting down, she offered a small nod and moved to find a seat, nearer to the front than not, and she set her bag down before sitting down, watching him.

Louis had been lost in his own thoughts, trying to think of how the semester would go, of what all he could do to be a good coach, but he blinked when his thoughts were interrupted, a voice breaking through them, and something about the voice caught his attention in a way he wasn’t expecting. When he turned towards the voice, though, he was caught even more by surprise, his attention focusing in on the girl there easily, and he tried not to let himself think too much into that, offering a small smile instead. “Actually, no,” he told her, shaking his head as he made his way over. “Ms. Trudy won’t be teaching this class anymore. I’m taking over for her. You can call me Coach Tomlinson.” He watched her for a moment before smiling and offering his hand out to her, arching a brow as he took her in, memorizing her but trying to not be too obvious about it. “If you’re here, I’ll assume you’ll be taking this class?”

Luke smiled at Liana as she shook his hand, and her hand seemed to be the perfect size to hold his, as if they were made for each other, and he couldn't help but to appreciate the moment a little more than he would with anyone else. "Well, Liana Noble, it's lovely to meet you." Luke saw the smirk that danced onto her lips though, and Luke almost - almost - smirked in return, but reminded himself that he had to remain professional, just for now. "Well, if I can do anything to make this class your favourite, Liana, let me know." Luke winked, pulling away from her, suddenly chastising himself for winking at a student, but damn it, she was giving him signals that he was unsure if he should follow or not. Biting his lip, Luke stood at the teachers desk, and he wondered if she'd enjoy the lessons he had in store. As other students began to filter in, Luke cleared his throat. "Alright guys, it's an easy one today." Luke laughed as they chattered, a new teacher had always been exciting, he supposed. "Just draw me something that shows off your talent. I don't know you like your old teacher, so I wanna see what's going on in your minds."

Melody offered her new teacher a smile as she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his voice melodic to the point where Melody would consider it her favourite sound in the world. "Well, Mr Clifford, it's nice to meet you." She greeted happily, taking his hand with a gentle hold, taking note of how she was certain a jolt of electricity ran up her arm just by touching him. "I'm Melody Hartman, my friends just call me Mel, though." She grinned, biting her lip as she studied him, and she wondered what he was like outside of school hours. "Are you permanent here, or is the witch coming back?" Melody pulled a face then, not wanting to seem rude, but standing by her statement. Miss Lewis was a damn witch, and she'd had it out for Melody - but Melody could admit to herself that she was at peace with this handsome man in the classroom.

Ashton smiled as he heard the girl's name - Rosalin. He'd never known a Rosalin before, but he was certain, with beauty that breathtaking, the name was only made for her. It suited her more than he could ever tell, and he wondered if she wore it with pride - she certainly deserved to. As she placed his hand in his, Ashton offered a gentle shake. "It's lovely to meet you, Rosalin, believe me." Pulling away slowly, almost reluctantly, Ashton noticed when Rosalin ducked her head and quickly decided to steer the subject away from first impressions: he didn't want to scare her. "Well..." Ashton grinned. "I made you guys some cupcakes and I had two spare." He laughed, then. "Actually, my best friend, who's a Home Economics teacher now, made 'em. Would you like one before everyone else gets here?" Heading into the closet, Ashton grabbed the lunchbox that contained the sweet treats, and he exhaled a nervous breath, hoping he was coming off as approachable and not weird. Heading out of the closet as he recomposed himself, he sat by his desk, gaze softening as he studied Rosalin once more. "Here," he smiled. "Take one."

Finley laughed as the handsome man with golden skin and kind eyes that crinkled at the corners when he smiled rubbed at the back of his neck. "The school definitely doesn't allow that kind of language, but I trust you to not tattle on me." She offered a cheeky wink then, wanting to hear his laugh again, wanting to egg him on, wanting to see him happy. Of course the first boy Finley was to take an interest in would be a bloody teacher. "Oh, definitely." Finley nodded with his words. "Us girls are sick of seeing women teaching these sort of subjects, so seeing your face is a relief." Finley offered a genuine smile then, dropping her act for a long moment, because Mr Hood, as he'd introduced himself, seemed to be kind enough for Finley not to worry about keeping up a facade. Accepting his hand to shake, Finley's eyes met Calum's, and she smiled softly. "It's really great to meet you too, sir." She promised, admiring the tattoos on his hands.

Harry's dimpled smile only broadened when the beauty introduced herself as Alesia, and he gently treaded over to where she sat - delighted to see she was quite close to the front, offering her his hand. "Alesia, I promise, as your teacher, I will help the best I can all throughout this next year." Harry offered a smile that he hoped was reassuring. "History can be difficult, there's so much to remember. Don't be embarrassed." He kept his voice gentle, soft, wanting her to feel comfortable with him; proud of how quickly her admission had happened. "If you need, we can set up some one to one lessons, we'll see how you get on today, okay? Don't fret." And Harry gently squeezed her shoulder, wanting her to know he was serious. "You know," Harry sat on the desk in front of Alesia, admiring her with a gentle gaze, although having to remember to reign himself in every so often, not wanting to seem creepy, or to scare her off all together. "I failed History three times in high school." He chuckled, wanting to do anything to see her smile; and what better way than to admit his own embarrassing moment?

Ruby folded her arms over her chest with curiosity as the handsome man made his way over, and Ruby could easily spot how blue his eyes were, almost shockingly so. "Well, Coach Tomlinson," Ruby offered a sweet smile, stretching so she could prepare herself for the lesson to come, wishing she'd chosen jog pants instead of shorts to defeat the chill in the air; but as he extended his hand, Ruby smiled, gently taking his hand, offering a kind shake. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Ruby, and I'll be taking this class, yes." She smiled. "And I guess, being the Coach, you'll see me during cheer practice, too." Ruby, reluctantly, dropped his hand, trying to ignore how good Coach Tomlinson's skin against hers made her feel. Biting her lip with the thought, Ruby ducked her head, clearing her throat. "So, what's the lesson, teach?" She asked, peering back up, trying to push her thoughts from her mind, studying him.

Liana smiled slightly when she heard Luke’s words, and she watched him for a few long moments. “It’s lovely to meet you as well,” she said easily in response, nodding slightly, though she then offered an amused look, her smirk growing when she saw his wink. “I’ll definitely make sure to let you know, teach.” Unable to stop herself, she winked in return, as discreetly as she could before she moved to find a seat and sat down. As she listened to Luke’s instructions for the class, she didn’t take her gaze from him, admiring him without shame. “So, we can draw… Anything, teach?” she asked with amusement, “You might wanna set some parameters. Who knows what you’d get from the students otherwise?”

Michael watched Melody and he smiled, nodding. “It’s nice to meet you, too,” he told her, enjoying the way it felt to have her hand in his, amazed by how well her hand fit in his, convinced easily that perhaps she was made for him - although he knew how unlikely it was, considering she was a student he was supposed to be teaching and who he was definitely not supposed to be forming a crush on, but still. “Well, Melody, that’s a lovely name,” he told her with a smile, nodding slightly, stopping himself from calling her ‘Mel,’ both because it was unprofessional and because he enjoyed her actual name far more. “As far as I’m aware, I’m meant to permanently take over this position, unless the principal decides I’m not fulfilling my duties properly.”

Rosalin offered a small smile before she nodded slightly. “You, too,” she murmured quietly, chewing on her lip when Ashton pulled away. In that moment, it almost felt like she was losing a part of herself, but in a good way, in a way that she didn’t want it back, whatever it was. Still, she blinked when Ashton offered her a cupcake. “Are you sure?” she asked with curiosity as she made her way closer to the desk, examining the cupcakes in the lunchbox. “They look good,” she admitted as she shifted a bit, still waiting for permission. “They smell pretty good, too. It seems like your friend did a good job.”

Calum offered an amused look as he watched Finley and he nodded slightly with the mention of it. “I’ll let you off with a warning just this once,” he teased lightly, winking despite himself. He knew he shouldn’t, that it wasn’t right, but she was gorgeous, and he couldn’t ignore that - a part of him didn’t really even want to ignore it. But he did his best to reign himself in and he grinned as she spoke further. “Yeah? Well, it’s not so bad for women to take this role to teach this class, you know. Many of them are more skilled than us men - I mean, who would us men learn how to cook from, otherwise? Definitely not our dads, they’re just good at burning food on the grill.” He grinned jokingly but he nodded. “I’m glad to hear it.”

Alesia peered up at Harry when he approached her desk, and she offered a small nod, placing her hand in his. “Well, um… Thank you, Mr. Styles… It means a lot, really…” she murmured as she watched him for a few moments before she shifted a bit and nodded slightly. “I’d appreciate that.” And she could admit that she wouldn’t mind spending some time alone with him, one-on-one; in fact, she could admit, at least to herself, that she would certainly enjoy it while she could. Still, she blinked as she listened to him. “If you failed that much, then why did you choose to become a History teacher?”

Louis grinned slightly as he watched Ruby, listening to her, and he did his best not to seem like he was paying too much attention to her, but, honestly, he couldn’t help it at this point. Despite only knowing her for a few minutes, despite having only just met her, he could already feel such a strong connection to her, a strong attraction to her, but he knew he had to fight it as best as he could. “Well, I don’t know about cheer practice, I’m not the cheerleading coach,” he said with amusement, “Just the gym coach.” He lifted his shoulders in a slight shrug. “Since it’s just gym, this won’t be much of a lesson. We’ll start with general exercises, stretches, then either go for a run. Some days, we’ll play games like volleyball or something, but for now, we’re starting off simple.”
