What Are You Gonna Do?

Nova laughed, "You must be a magician then if you made my car worth more." She teased him. She nodded when he asked if she found anything she wanted to keep. "I found a few things." She said as she took his hand. She walked back with him to his office and began to copy a few things. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she felt him look over at her on occasion. She laughed a little when he mentioned his waxing move. She looked at him, "I guess I am harder to get than your usual prospects." She said. She bit her bottom lip lightly as he whispered in her ear. She turned so she was facing him, "That is because I am amazing." She teased him. She looked up at him before she wrapped her fingers around his T-shirt, pulling him down to her. She kissed him deeply, before pulling away slowly. "Ready?" She asked as she let go of him.

She slipped away from him and gathered the rest of her things. "I'm sure you want to shower before we go so we can go to your place. Sound okay?" She asked as she put her sunglasses on.

Orlando chuckled and nodded in agreement when she said he was harder to get than his usual women. "You are correct, but you are different in other ways too." He paused. "Many want me for my money, or because I am a badass.You've got your own money and I think you liked me before you found out how cool I am," he teased her. Orlando held his breath when the two were close. He could feel her body heat against his, and he was tuching the soft skin on her hip. He was planning on making a move but that idea was cut short when she made it for him. He pressed his lips against her and let himself melt away into her. It was truly the best kiss he had ever head. He looked like a deer in headlights when she pulled away, but quickly composed himself, smirking down at her> "I'm more than ready." He purred.

Orlando nodded and followed her into the bay. "Sounds good, I've still got the keys, so I'd like to drive that pretty little thing you've got." He teased as he headed towards her car. Orlando got into her driver's seat, starting the car and grinning as he looked at her. "Can't believe you wanna go home with me before the first date," he teased again. Orlando put his arm across her shoulders as he pulled out of the bay and began to drive towards his house. He felt a lot more confident at the end of their time at the shop than at the beginning. After pulling into his driveway, he parked the car and got out, handing Nova the keys. "Welcome to the Burton household." HE said and looked up at the house. It was dark brown with white trim, two stories, spacious. He led her inside.

Nova smiled, "I guess you can drive her, but be careful." She said as she walked with him to her car. She got into her car and relaxed as he started towards his house. She laughed, "Well, it is either that or people wonder why you are covered in grease." She teased him. When they pulled up to his house she got out of the car looking at it. It was nice. She walked into the house with him after she took the keys. "You have a nice place." She said. She let him go get ready and looked around at some of the pictures. She wasn't exactly sure what she was going to tell her dad. Lucky for her she had a degree and she could get a job somewhere else. However, she was sure he would make sure that didn't happen in this city. Which would mean she would have to leave Orlando. She sat down on Orlando's couch as she waited for him. She decided to silence her phone so she didn't have to worry about her dad bothering them.

When Orlando walked out she smiled, "Ready to lose at laser tag?" She teased him. She was glad that he wanted her for more than just a one-night thing. At least that was what she was hoping that he meant. She could hear her dad and brother now if that happened. She stood up, running her fingers through her hair. Maybe Orlando was tired of having a bunch of people that just wanted him for his position in the city. She still wasn't sure how she felt about it. She wondered if he had killed anyone.

Orlando smiled and told her where the living room, bathroom, and kitchen were before he decided to head upstairs to shower. "Now don't go snooping," he teased. Orlando headed up to his shower, picking out an outfit. He didn't want to dress up too nice, it was laser tag after all. He did want to look nice, for her. He stepped into the shower and allowed the warm water to encapsulate him. Scrubbing the grease, wax, and dirt off of him. He scrubbed his hair, clearing it of the old gel. The shower was hot so it steamed up the bathroom. When he finished and dried off, Orlando stood and looked at himself, chuckling to himself. He couldn't believe, of all the people in the city, he'd found the daughter of a future senator. He worked gel into his hair, slicking it back. He sprayed some cologne on himself and put on his clothes. He put on black athletic sweatpants, a black teeshirt, and his leather jacket. He headed downstairs after finishing getting ready.

"Oh, I'm ready, but it is to kick your butt." He countered. Orlando liked her spunk, following closely behind. "So you aren't scared to be associated with the big bad mafia boss?" He asked as he slid into the passenger's seat of her car. He knew her family wasn't approving already. He wondered if that would eventually cause a wedge between them, or if she could get through it. He did want to see where this would go. "Tell me, are you really willing to go against your father for a goofball like me?"

Nova laughed, "You are going to be so disappointed when you lose." She said as they walked out of his house to her car. She got into the driver's seat and started it. She shrugged, "should I be scared? Are you going to hurt me?" She asked, glancing over at him. She was hoping that he would do something horrible to her.

She shrugged, "I don't know yet. You will have to prove to me that you are worth it tonight." She said. Nova had a feeling he would be worth it.

Orlando shook his head and looked at her, his eyes almost pleading. "I would never hurt you. I don't hurt women, one. But I like you, I think you are smart, and sweet, and pretty. I wanna show you there is more to this mafia boss than the dark world." He said and swallowed. Orlando nodded to himself and leaned back in his seat. "I can keep you safe." He offered, looking out the window. He thought that he should stop talking before he said something that wasn't right.

"Well, hopefully, after I beat you at laser tag, you realize I am a great date." He snickered and got out of the car, offering his hand to her before they headed in. he walked up to the register and paid for the two of them. The man behind the counter gave them both a vest, a gun, and explained the rules before pointing out the maze for them to enter. "Lets go, sweetheart." he purred, disappearing into the maze.

Nova nodded when he said that he would never hurt her. She was glad that wasn't his intention. "You mean to tell me you have never hurt a girl in your life?" She asked. "What if they do against you?" She asked. She parked outside of the laser tag place and got out of the car with him. She locked the door, taking his hand.

"You are not going to beat me." She said. She watched as he paid, then put her hair up when they were ready to start. Nova watched as he disappeared, then moved to hide too. She smirked as she hid, hearing him coming towards her. Nova held the gun out and shot him, laughing.

“I mean, emotionally I may have. During break ups. But I would never physically hurt a woman. Even if they came at me swinging, most I would do is push them away so they couldn’t hurt me. If a woman in another gang is starting shit, I would have one of my women deal with it. I don’t want to hurt women. I especially don’t want to hurt pretty ones like you.” He purred and shrugged, hoping that made sense. He wasn’t going to pretend that he was perfect. He wasn’t. He got angry and he got violent. But he didn’t do it silly nilly. His actions all had reasons.

When she shot him the first time, Orlando sucked behind a fake bush, he slowly crept up behind Nova, shooting her and darting off again. He ducked away again before flanking her again and firing away. Orlando let out a few guttural laughs before hiding in the small house, he hid behind the door, hoping she would follow him in and he could get her again. “Come find me!” He called out in a sing song voice

Nova gasped as he shot her. She frowned a little as she went to go find him. She noticed he was in the house. She popped up in the window and shot him. She laughed as she ran away from him and went to hide. She knew that winning against someone who did stuff like this for a living was going to be difficult. She was determined to win though. Nova smirked a little when she saw the score was tied. She squeezed between two small walls as she waited for him.

Orlando gasped when she shot him through the window, shaking his head and laughing. He pokes his head out to watch where she ran off to. He begin to follow her, hopping over a short wall, and then just to show off, he tuck and rolled towards her, taking a shot before rolling away again. He dove underneath a wall and crawled out to the corner, trying for another shot against her. Orlando back up and hid behind a bish, wolf whistling into the air towards Nova.

Nova smirked a little when she heard him whistle at her. She waited a little before she peeked out and noticed his foot by the bush. She moved out from behind the wall and crept around to the bush. She shot him, smiling at the look on his face. "Oops." She said, laughing.

Orlando fake fainted as she shot him the last time, groaning and putting a hand over his chest. "you've got me good, Miss Larson." He moaned and groaned, pretending to die. "come, close, come close, my last words..." he huffed out. When Nova came close he quickly shot her, laughing to himself as he hoped up and started to run away again. He ducked behind a wall, taking a few shots at Nova, striking once. Orlando wiped the sweat from his forehead and sat for a moment. He was listening for her footsteps. Orlando checked his watch and noticed they would have to head out soon, their hour was almost up.

Nova gasped as he shot her again, "You cheater!" She exclaimed. She moved to hide then took the high ground. She looked down at the area below seeing Orlando. She shot him, then hid so he wouldn't see her. She knew they were probably almost done.

Orlando stuck his tongue out at Nova, but frowned when she shot him again, but could not tell where she was. He began to scour the area, looking for anywhere that she could be. He was checking behind things, under things, around them. He saw a slight movement and slowly crept towards it when he saw Nova. He took a shot at her, then dove down to avoid being shot as the timer ran out and the bell rung. When the game was over he walked over to her, heading out with Nova. "That was fun, now lets see who won." He teased, putting an arm around her waist. "You're a good shot for a preppy girl."

Nova laughed as he shot at her and missed. She stood up as the game ended. She walked with him, then looked at him. "I told you not to underestimate me." She teased him as they walked out. She pulled everything off and handed it to the worker. "I will say I thought you would do better." She teased him as she lightly poked his side.

Orlando took his gear off, handing it to thw roker and thanking him. He wiped some more sweat from his brow and look down to her. Orlando rolled his eyes at her teasing. "Hey now, I'm much better with hand to hand combat than shots." He countered and smiled down at Nova. "Let's go to that concert now." Orlando followed Nova out to the car, sliding into the passenger's seat. he grabbed her hand for a second before she drove off. "I'm having a great time," he said softly. Orlando leaned across the seat and kissed Nova again, his other hand gently cupping her cheek. When he pulled away he took a deep breath and smiled. "You have really soft lips."

Nova smiled, "Do I need to beat you up too?" She teased him as they walked out together. Once they got in the car, she headed to the concert venue. "I'm having a great time too." She said as she parked. She looked at him as he reached over and she kissed him back. She smiled against his lips before he pulled away. "Soft lips, huh?" She teased before she kissed him once more. She pulled away, then got out of the car and waited for him.

"Awh you know that wouldn't be fair, I couldn't hurt you," he teased back. "Yes, very, feel free to kiss me anytime." Orlando let his mind wander immediately after their kiss smiling to himself as they drove to the concert. He enjoyed relaxing while he was with her, because he usually had to stay rigid and keep his guard up, she allowed him to keep it down. Orlando smirked against Nova's lips when she kissed him, kissing back passionately. "I'm excited." He purred, getting out and following besides Nova. He slipped his arm around her again. "I hope we dont get caught," He teased her as they entered a crowded area.

Nova laughed, "If we get caught I am blaming you." She teased him as they moved into the crowd. She may have appeared to be preppy but she really liked rock music. It was something that made her happy. Nova looked over at him, "This is all your fault." She joked.

Orlando chuckled and rolled his eyes. "You can blame me, I can hold my own against just about anyone." He said, flexing his muscles. He wanted to impress her, but ti was true. He wasn't truly scared of getting caught, the worst that would happen would be her family making a scene. He could handle that, he wasn't scared of her father or brother. When they found a spot to stand, Orlando settled himself in. He liked the fact that she enjoyed rock music. "You are full of surprises, I love it." He quipped, looking up at the stage, moving his head as the music played.
