Long Time No See

Wren frowned as she watched him pull the chairs together, hesitating for a moment before scooting toward the edge of the hospital bed to make room for him, patting the matress hesitantly. She knew he needed a decent night's sleep, and he wouldn't get that on some chairs. She gave a little shrug as he asked why she was sorry, shaking her head a little. "I just... I'm sorry.." she murmured, wiping at a few stray tears that were leaking down her cheeks before shifting a bit to get comfortable under the blankets again.

Luke looked over at Wren and shook his head. “No. You’re hurt.” He murmured. “You get the whole bed.” He said. Luke sat on the chairs and looked across the room at her. “Don’t be sorry. You did nothing wrong. I messed everything up.” He said and shook his head. Luke rubbed his eyes hard as he sighed. He didn’t know what to do. He felt like everything was falling apart. A piece of hun wished he had stayed in the city and just gone with the life he had. It was fine, everything had been fine, now everything was falling apart.

Wren frowned as he said no, shaking her head as she pat the spot beside her again. "Please?" She asked softly, settling into the mattress as she tugged her blankets around her. She frowned even more as he spoke and said she didn't have to apologize, tugging her blankets around her tighter. "I'm still sorry.. I-I know you probably hate me for everything I did.. I-I'm so sorry.." She sniffled, wiping at her eyes to try to keep from crying.
