Annie looked at Steve her eyes twinkling, she was happy being around Steve. “Well info enjoy your company slot. I liked writing letters to you too. I’m glad I could make your week better.” Annie blushed as he commented on her letters. “You’re real sweet, “ she reached up and kissed his cheek

He blushed, feeling her lips press against the skin of his cheek. He smiled as they walked, ‘you know in the short amount of time that I knew you, I feel good. I haven’t felt this way in years.’

Annie smiled at Steve her heart pounding as she kissed his cheek. Annie smiled “I feel the same, you’re just such a good person and I feel so many things I know it’s weird..”

Annie looked at Steve, god he was beautiful, “it is, “ as they walked to the park, Annie felt this sense of happiness burst from within her. She took Steve’s hand in her own and blushed. Even before knowing who he was she felt a strong connection to him.

He blushed when she took his hand. He interlaced their fingers together and gave her warm soft hand a gentle squeeze.

Annie looked up pink cheeks “you and I are going to be really close I think” she whispered. She didn’t want to say just friends because honestly it felt more intimate

‘I hope so. Like I said I haven’t felt like this in years. You are the complete opposite of her but your special in your own way. I’m glad I got to meet you.’

Annie tilted her head in confusion, there was someone else, or there was she looked at the ground before looking up. “Oh.” Was all she could mustard, maybe it was all too soon. Or maybe it was a mistake.

Annie dropped his hand, feeling a little weird about this now, he was still hung up on someone. “Listen I understand okay, you don’t have to explain yourself to me. We can be just friends, that’s how we started any how.”

Annie walked along Steve her hands in front of her thinking as she looked forward. Processing what Steve has just told her, he was honest with her and she appreciated, but there was something telling her to keep her guard up. Clearly her throat Annie nodded, “I get it, thanks for being honest with me. Well, just see how this goes I guess.”

He nodded, walking next to her with his hands by his sides awkwardly. Things now felt a bit awkward. Before it was livelier but now it feels like a cloud blocked the sun. He hopes that cloud will go away soon.

Annie bit her lip as they walked side by side, it was awkward and she didn’t know what to do to make it go away. She looked up at the sky where the clouds were hovering and the sun was shining. Annie felt the wind on her face, her hair in her face.
