Serin tilted his head to the side, his curiosity peaked when he stepped into Aelia's room. She was awake which was definitely a good thing but that didn't stop him from wondering just how difficult she was going to be. Omegas came in all different shapes, sizes, and attitudes. Some behaved better than others. He cleaned his throat, looking up when his assistant started to speak. He held his arms behind him, listening to the man intently. "She is in good health though?" Serin inquired, taking another step toward Aelia. His smile grew as he looked over her form. "Leave us. Make sure that a meal is prepared and brought up here," he added after a moment of thought.
The man bowed slightly before he did as he was told, retreating out of the room. He shut the door behind him and it was only then that Serin's attention turned back to Aelia. He moved toward the cage, emitting a low purr as he undid the lock on the cage. He pushed it all the way open, his smile grew as he knelt down slowly.
Serin held out a hand, offering it to Aelia. "Hello, darling," his voice was gentle as he spoke. "Can you tell me your name? I'm Serin," he spoke, not wanting to scare Aelia if he didn't have to. He knew of stories where the alpha was not the least bit forgiving of their omega and their omega's fear and that wasn't what Serin wanted to do with her. The thought broke his heart. With Aelia looking at him the way she was, she seemed completely confused and afraid. He never wanted her to feel like that with him.
"You're in my home. But you're safe and I'm never going to let anything happen to you. I give you my word."
