Paige smiled as she took her phone back and slid it into her pocket. “I’ll have to give you a call sometime,” she said before getting in her car. As she left the parking lot, Paige drove back to town and decided to head back to her apartment.

Once Happy was done in the garage, he decided to go and get another drink. He grabbed a beer and went over to one of the chairs and sat down. Truth be told, he was exhausted from all the runs for the club and working in the garage.

Jax smiled at watched as she drove off. He felt like he was ready to go home, and he just needed a break. From Wendy causing Abel to be born early and with health issues to the issues with the club, it was starting to put a strain on him.

Elyza decided to make a quick stop at the little grocery store and get something to eat. It wasn’t long before she was on her way home. Her thoughts swarmed her mind, wondering if this was the right town to move to. She had to hope that this was the right place.

Paige got back to her apartment and sat down on the couch, she relaxed as she turned on the tv. After spending the entire day yesterday unpacking, Cora just wanted to sit and relax. She watched a couple episodes of a show before grabbing her phone and scrolling through it.

Happy finished his beer before deciding to head home. Once he got home, Happy took a shower and went to the kitchen to make something quick for dinner.

A few days had passed since Jax had met Paige, and he was wondering if he was going to hear from her or not. He was getting hopeful, but at the same time he was trying not to expect it so soon.

Elyza was trying to figure out if she should just call or text Happy. She had gotten all of her unpacking done and had found a job at a local hair salon. Now she was here overthinking like she always did. She sighed and hit call.

After putting her groceries away, Paige sat down at the table and looked at her phone. She decided to finally call Jax, finding his number she pressed call and waited for an answer.

Happy was in the garage, working on his bike when he heard his phone ring. Putting his tools down, he pulled his phone out and answered it, “Hello?” He leaned against the tool box, a smile crossed his lips when he recognized Elyza’s voice.

Jax had been relaxing in the clubhouse when he felt his phone go off. He didn’t recognize the number but answered anyway. “Hello,” he greeted. It was long before he smiled hearing Paige’s voice on the phone. “It’s good to hear from you.”

Elyza smiled hearing Happy answer the phone. She was almost scared that he wouldn’t have answered. “Hey,” she said into the phone. She could feel her nerves as she felt like she didn’t know what to say.

Paige smiled when she heard Jax’s voice on the other end of the call. “Sorry for taking so long to call, I got a job and was getting settled in,” she apologized. Biting her bottom lip gently, she spoke again, “I was thinking maybe if you weren’t busy we could meet up sometime soon?”

“Hey, I was wondering when I’d hear from you,” Happy added, laughing softly. He had been waiting for her to call so he was to finally talk to her again. “What have you been up to?” He asked. Happy really wanted to ask her to grab dinner or something, anything really to see her.

“Hey, I get it. You gotta settle in and get into the swing of things around here,” Jax replied, understanding her completely. He hoped that it was going well for her. He could feel his excitement build up when she mentioned meeting up, and honestly he didn’t get why. “Yeah, I would like to,” he answered.

Elyza smiled. “I have just been settling in. I found a job, and have been just getting used to this new town,” she answered. She walked over to her window to see the city. “I was kind of wondering if you had the time, that you would want to do something together.” She hoped that she didn’t sound like an idiot.

“Yeah, I think I’m finally settled,” Paige laughed softly. She was starting to feel more comfortable in Charming and that it could be perfect for her. “Well, in that case are you free tonight? Maybe we could grab dinner or something?” Paige asked, not used to being the one to make the first move.

Happy smiled, glad to hear that she was getting settled. “Well that’s good, I’m glad you found something,” he said. Hearing her ask if he wanted to do something together, Happy quickly responded, “Yeah, I don’t have too much going on. What did you have in mind?”

Jax thought about what he needed to do for the day and was glad that nothing was going on that couldn’t wait for a little longer. “I’m free tonight. You got a place in mind or should show you one of this town’s charming little diners?” He couldn’t help putting a little emphasis on the town’s name.

“Yeah, so am I,” Elyza admitted softly. She had been afraid of not finding a job for awhile, but she didn’t let herself dwell on that. “I was thinking of grabbing a diner or seeing what there was fun to do in this town? That is if you’re free,” she said.

Paige laughed, softly. She smiled, “I didn’t have anything in mind, how about you show me one of the diners.” Paige thought Jax was funny, it was adding to her interest.

“I’m very free,” Happy told her. He took a minute to think about it, “I think I know a pretty good place to grab dinner and then go for a ride?” He suggested, not sure if she’d be interested.

Jax smiled, hearing her laugh. He was glad that he could make her laugh. “I know of a perfect place to go,” he announced. He looked at the time, knowing that they needed to figure out when. “So around what time are you thinking?”

Elyza smiled. “That sounds great,” she replied. She was excited to know that he was wanting to spend time with her. She couldn’t believe that she had been nervous about this.

“Great,” Paige replied. She glanced over at the clock, “How about seven?” She asked, knowing it would give her more than enough time to get ready. Paige was excited to see Jax again.

Happy smiled, “Alright, just let me know what time works for you and I can stop by and pick you up, if that’s okay with you?” He questioned, not wanting to seem too forward. He was interested in Eliza and didn’t want to scare her off.

Jax smiled. “That works for me,” he replied. He glanced at the clock, knowing that he would be checking it periodically every few minutes now. “I’ll pick you up then,” he added.

Elyza glanced at the clock trying to figure the best time. “That sounds great. How does seven sound?” she asked, knowing that would be plenty of time to get ready.

Paige glanced over at the clock as she thought about what she could wear. “Alright, I’ll text you my address and I’ll see you then?” She smiled as she walked into her room. Hearing his response, Paige smiled, “See you in a bit.” She ended the call, quickly sending him her address before going to her closet.

“Seven would be good,” Happy agreed. “I’ll swing by and pick you up?” He went into the office and sat on the couch. Thinking it wouldn’t take him long to finish up his bike and then head home to get cleaned up.

“Alright. I’ll see you then,” he replied. He checked his phone seeing that it was her sending her address. He finished what he was doing and rushed home to clean up.

Elyza could feel the rush of excitement. “Yeah, that sounds great. I’ll text you my address,” she said, thinking that would be the easiest way to do it. She was already up looking through her closet trying to figure out what to wear.

Picking out her clothes and placing them on her bed, Paige went across the hall to the bathroom to shower. Once she was out, Paige quickly did her hair, and put on some light make-up. She went back to her bedroom and got dressed in her faded blue jeans and a dark blue top. Paige looked herself over in the mirror one more time before she heard a knock at her door. She walked to the living room, grabbing her purse as she opened the door to see Jax, “Hi.”

“Sounds good,” Happy said as he looked at his phone, seeing her address. He finished up his work before heading home. It wasn’t going to take him too long to get ready as he showered and put on a fresh pair of jeans and a white t-shirt with SAMCRO on the front. Seeing the time, he put his cut on before walking out the door. He got on his bike and drove to Elyza’s, walking up to the door, he knocked.

Jax didn’t take long to clean up. He had on some jeans and one of his SAMCRO shirts. He drove across town to her house and walked up the front steps of her house. He lightly knocked on the front door, hoping he wasn’t startling her. He smiled seeing her answer the door. “Hey. You look beautiful,” he said looking her over.

Elyza steped our of the shower and dried off. She pulled on her favorite jeans and loose fitting shirt that had hearts all over it. She was never one to go crazy with make up so just putting on a little mascara and lipgloss. She smiled hearing the knock on the door. She grabbed her purse and opened the door seeing Happy on the other side. “Hey,” she said.

Paige blushed lightly at his comment, "Why thank you. You clean up pretty well yourself." She smiled at him as she shut the door behind her. "So, where are we off to? Or is it a surprise?" Paige asked as she followed him down the steps.

Happy smiled as she opened the door, "Hey, you look, amazing." He said as he looked her over. "I've got the perfect place for us to go," Happy said as he walked back toward his bike.

Jax smiled. “I like to think I do,” he commented lightly. He walked with her to his motorcycle. He looked over at her. “Do you want it to be a surprise? Or do you really want to know?” he asked her. He didn’t really know if he should make it a surprise or not.

Elyza walked with Happy to his bike. “Thank you. You clean up really well,” she commented. She smiled and wondered where Happy was taking her. “So is it a surprise?” she asked.
