Egon slowly lifted his gaze to meet Anfrih, feeling his heart in his throat the more she spoke. He could pleasure her all night, kiss her wherever she asked him to, but to say... The witcher had been stifling his own emotions for so long that he wasn't sure what he felt at the moment. It could be love, but it could also just be lust. He was certain in the fact that he cared for her and he would never just abandon her, but he didn't want to unintentionally hurt her by saying it, if he wasn't entirely certain.

He lifted his hands to cup hers over his face, shaking his head and just shushing her quietly. "We don't have to say anything. I will be here through out the night and all day tomorrow. I will be here until you are ready to leave and then I will leave with you." He hoped that was enough to quiet her worries. He knew it wasn't what she wanted to hear, but it was all he could offer her and at the least, he hoped it at least helped her feel secure. Egon had no intentions of leaving her side any time soon, but he did feel his heart tremble knowing that she could think of him that way. It all went back to him blaming himself, for being such a hard person to read, for constantly keeping up his guard, even towards someone he cared about so much. It was a hard habit to break.

Pulling her hands away from his face, he pushed himself back in the bed and relaxed on his side, motioning for her to come lay in his arms. "Please, come." All he could do was beckon her and hope she would listen. Anfrih could either take his answer and find peace with it, or she could get hurt and upset at him.

Anfrih closed her eyes as he cupped her cheeks in his hands, nodding a little as he spoke. She knew it was foolish of her to have said anything, to open herself up to him like that. It hurt. It hurt to hear him dismiss her feelings so easily, but she never should have expected anything different from him. "I know.. I know, I'm sorry." She breathed as she dropped her hands away from his face, watching as he laid down in bed and opened his arms up for her to lay down with him. She told herself she could get used to it as she laid down, just being someone he could distract himself with now and again. It was better than him leaving her. She lay with her back against his chest, attempting to snuggle into his arms, although every little movement hurt or ached in one way or another. She lay awake for hours, listening to his breathing as he fell asleep, and it wasn't until she was absolutely sure that he wouldn't wake that she let herself weep softly into her pillow. Maybe she could get the bard to write a song about her. The fool who fell in love with a Witcher.

The next morning Egon awoke to an empty bed. It took him a minute to stir himself awake, but once he did, his brows pulled together in confusion and he quickly sat up. His first thought was about where Anfrih could've gone and his second thought was wondering what time it was. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, the Witcher pulled himself to his feet and pulled his armor on over his shirt.

The first thing he wanted to do was find Anfrih, hoping she was just sitting downstairs enjoying a meal with Geralt, or out in the stables feeding her horse. He couldn't help wonder if maybe his words had stung her a little deeper than he anticipated, perhaps she had left him.

Stomping down the stairs into the tavern, Egon was relieved when he saw Anfrih and Geralt sitting alone in the empty bar. There was a plate of toast and salmon in front of the two and only Geralt seemed to be picking at it. "You two just going to let me sleep around all day?"

Anfrih had woken up before sunrise, having only gotten a few hours of sleep, and had put her armor back on as quietly as possible before making her way downstairs to the bar. Shortly after she'd finished her first mug of ale Geralt had come downstairs, paying for a meal for them both after he'd taken her second mug from her, giving her a little warning glare. He could tell she was upset, and drowning out her sorrows with ale wouldn't help her any. They'd sat next to each other in silence as the morning went on, Geralt saying a few pleasantries to Jaskier when he came downstairs and sat with them for a while, the bard telling them all about a big festival that was coming up at the end of the week, very proud of himself for being one of the preformers.

Shortly before Egon came downstairs Jaskier had left to go practice his songs somewhere where Geralt wouldn't punch him for being too loud, and luckily for Anfrih she'd been paying just enough attention to remember where he had said he was going. At the sight of Egon she grabbed her water flask and stood. "I'm going to help Jaskier practice." She said quickly, grabbing a few pieces of toast for the bard before fleeing the tavern. With any luck she'd find him quickly, and even if she didn't she was sure she could find somewhere to hide from Egon on this godsforsaken island.

Geralt simpy watched the young woman scurry off, turning to Egon as he came and sat down. He eyes the dark haired Witcher for a moment before pushing the plate of food toward him, and ordering a mug of ale for him. "You fucked her, didn't you?" He asked simply, a hint of a smirk on his face. It was the only reason he could possibly imagine her acting so odd around him. "Your scent was all over her."

Egon grabbed the tankard in his fist and was quick to dispel Geralt. "No, I didn't... fuck her." He sighed, unable to look his friend in the eye. "I couldn't tell her I loved her." He brought the ale to his lips, cursing himself for fucking up so badly that she would rather chase after that annoying bard than sit with him.

That bard... Egon clenched his jaw, grinding down on his teeth as he thought about that lute player trying to swoon and serenade her with his squawking. Egon considered if it might've been the better idea to just have given her what she wanted. How hard could it have been to say three little words? Would it have been better to go through today easily and fight about it later?

"Women are something else. You think you're working the right angle and then next thing you know, you've stuck your foot in your mouth." His voice was a low growl. Slamming the tankard back down on the table, the witcher grabbed a bit of the toast from the plate, breaking it in half before taking a bite.

Geralt was surprised to hear he hadn't fucked her, and even more surprised to hear him say the reason for their little spat, shock registering on his normally blank face. "The mighty Egon of Cintra, not fucking the virgin he's dragged along with him? Maybe there's hope for me and Jaskier to get a chance at her, then." He teased with a smirk, sipping his ale. He didn't mean it, even if he thought the girl was attractive. He just wanted to get a reaction out of Egon.

After a while of silence where Geralt picked at the toast and fish on the plate between them he spoke again. "Do you love her?" He was curious to know the answer. If he didn't, it made no sense why he hadn't just fucked her and abandoned her at some tavern already, why he was so worked up over her avoiding him. And if he did, everything made much more sense.

Egon just grimaced at the mention of the bard specifically getting at her. He knew his friend was joking about himself, but right now, Anfrih was out there, watching the bard practice his lovey-dovey ballads in the setting of an empty, romantic festival. Egon tossed the other slice of toast down, no longer finding he had an appetite.

"I don't know." It was easy to answer that, it was hard to go into detail. "How am I supposed to know? I know I'd be upset if she just left, or if she were to get hurt." Egon was not about to go into any more detail than that, betting on the fact that Geralt would just tease and embarrass him if he mentioned how kissing her made him feel, how holding her in his arms caused his heart to skip a few beats. "I know I'd break the bards fucking hands if he even so much laid a finger on her." His voice turned to a low growl, grabbing his tankard in his hand quickly, splashing a few drops of ale along the table.

"Hmm." Geralt smirked, watching his friend throw his breakfast down and spilled some of his ale. "Seems like you do. Or at least whatever you feel is close enough to where it doesn't matter. And if you realize you don't love her when you get tired of fucking her, you can just sell her to some brothel owner for a couple silver coins." Geralt shrugged. He didn't know much about love himself, but he could tell that whatever Egon was feeling wasn't just simple lust.

"I hope for Jaskier's sake he has enough sense to not." He chuckled, finishing his ale and breakfast. "Seems like you have two choices to me, go find her and the bard now, maybe break his hands, or you can get drunk and then go over to the brothel down the street, and see if fucking the whores there will make you feel any better."

Egon sighed, letting shoulders slump down. "I doubt she wants me bothering her right now." She had barely said a full sentence to him before running off after Jaskier. Hadn't even given him the time to ask how she had slept or try to explain himself. Maybe he didn't want to run after her because he still didn't want to have that deep of a conversation. He could only hold on to hope that Anfrih wouldn't mess around with the bard, he hadn't given her any reason to, just because he hadn't said...

"Fuck..." He groaned, just rubbing his hands over his face. "Wait, a festival?" Egon looked up at Geralt, remembering what he had overheard the bard going on about. Before he knew it, he was growing annoyed over something completely different. "Are we about to be dragged along to some carnival attraction?"

"I bet it depends on what you bother her about." Geralt pointed out, watching his friend slump into his seat. It was a sorry sight to see, and he only hoped that Egon either came to his senses soon and forgot about her, or figured out what he was feeling and made peace with the girl. The last thing the witcher needed was to be distracted by some girl.

Geralt smirked at Egon's comments about the festival, giving a shrug. "I have no idea. All I know Jaskier is performing, that it will be at the end of the week, and Jaskier definitely promised that there would be ale and beautiful women to indulge in." He chuckled, sipping at his ale. "Not interested, I take it?"

(I was thinking we could probably just skip ahead to the festival, assume that Geralt goes and talks to Verris, and that Anfrih avoids Egon pretty successfully for most of the week leading up to the festival. I can make the skip if you want)

    (I got it!)

Egon had been correct when he wondered if Anfrih would want to drag them all to the festival. He didn't understand the appeal of greasy junk food and rigged games with oversized prizes that you'd never really win. Regardless, it seemed important to the bard for his friends to come watch him perform and Anfrih had seemed pretty excited about it. The pair alone had arrived at the festival, Geralt had stayed back at the inn waiting for Verris to sneak her way out of the academy.

"I've never been to a fair before." Egon tried to break the silence as he followed Anfrih through the crowd of people. He saw signs for fortune tellers and advertisements for the joust later that night. Men wheeled carts around trying to sell their little trinkets and handmade jewelry. It seemed like a big waste of time. The girl had spent the majority of the week ignoring him and running around with Jaskier. It hadn't helped silence his doubts about the bard trying to make a move on her.
It had taken Verris a little while longer then she had anticipated to sneak from her room and make her way to the inn, where Geralt waited for her. The tavern was pretty empty when Verris finally arrived, wondering if the bar was cleared out do to the carnival. However, she found the white wolf waiting patiently by the entrance to the stable.

"I'm sorry I'm late." Verris didn't know what else to say, hoping he wasn't to aggravated by having to wait on her. It seemed the rest of the group had went on ahead. Regardless, Verris was excited to be seeing Geralt again. It had been almost a full week and the sooner it drew nearer for her to leave with him, the more antsy she seemed to be getting.

Anfrih had been excited for the festival, especially because she spent all week with Jaskier while he practiced his songs and listened to his stories about Geralt and Egon. She'd found herself befriending the bard, and even though he could be annoying at times she still liked spending time with him. Their conversations were certainly better than the awkward silence that she and Egon had been sharing all week. She could hardly look at him without her heart aching, and she'd managed to avoid him most days, leaving bed before he woke, scarfing down some breakfast before heading out out to one of the rocky beaches to sit with Jaskier for the day. She'd return before nightfall, shove a roll into her mouth and then rush upstairs to take a quick bath before going to bed, usually sound asleep by the time Egon arrived. She hated the tension, wished it would go away, but everything hurt whenever she was near him, and it was easier for now to just avoid him and her feelings.

"You don't have to be here if you don't want to.." She murmured softly when he said he'd never been to a festival before. He didn't seem happy to be here, and she didn't want him to feel like he was obligated to stay here with her, especially if he didn't feel the same toward her. She'd understand if he didn't want to be around her anymore, if he'd rather leave here here than take her with him. She couldn't blame him, really, if that's what he decided.
Geralt had been worried something had happened to Verris when she didn't show when she'd said she would, and he'd headed to the stables to get Roach ready to leave and to get his supplies in case of the worst. He'd been ready to grab his sword and ride to Aretuza to get Verris himself when she arrived at the stable, his shoulders visibly relaxing when he realized it was her.

"Verris.." He sighed, strapping his sword back to Roach as he walked over to her. "Glad that you're alright." He said, gesturing outside toward the crowded festival. "Anfrih and Egon went on ahead with Jaskier. We can go find them if you'd like?"

Egon frowned when she scolded him and he tensed his shoulders in anger. "I didn't mean it like..." He sighed, rubbing a hand through his hair, noticing all the looks he was getting from people passing by. He heard whispers and saw people pointing towards the silver wolf head necklace he wore. It was a quick reminder of why he didn't visit tourist attractions. It made him feel like a slideshow attraction himself.

He cleared his throat and looked down at Anfrih, trying to soften his voice. "I meant, I've no clue what one even does..." He looked away from her to glance around the fairgrounds once more. It was mostly a bunch of vendors, a few shows and a couple kiddie rides, but yet it seemed like thousands of people were here for it. "I'm honestly curious what about this excites you?" Egon wasn't trying to insult her or make it obvious that this was the last place he wanted to be.

Sighing to himself, he wondered why he even tried. Maybe there was a reason witchers were sterilized upon transformation. It was pointless to seek out love because no matter how much ground he was gaining, he always seemed to be three steps behind. Every time he opened his mouth, he was sticking his foot in it. He huffed and crossed his arms over his chest, "I'm sorry. Really."
Verris looked over towards the blinking multi colored lights and smelled the wafting scent of greasy funnel cakes and body odor. Screams from little kids could be heard as they played games and ran from rickety wooden ride to ride. "This isn't really your scene, is it?" Verris couldn't help but playfully tease him, linking their arms together as they headed towards the fair entrance.

Agreeing it sounded best to find the rest of the group, Anfrih couldn't help but find herself trying to work as slowly as she possibly could. "You know, I used to be able to see Redania's fair from the window of my bedroom. I never got to attend though." Verris said it as if it was nothing, not letting it bother her.

Anfrih remained silent as he continued to talk, to try to get her to interact with him. It was just too hard. She felt like she was being crushed whenever she tried to talk to him, anyway. She'd opened herself up, offered him her heart, and he'd taken it and crushed it, and had given it back and told her to pretend like nothing had happened. When he apologized she shook her head quickly, glancing up at him. "No. Don't.. You don't have anything to apologize for." She sighed, looking around the crowd. "I'm keeping you from having a good time.. Go, get some ale, find a woman or two to share your bed. I'll buy my own room tonight."

When she spotted Jaskier she felt relieved, heading toward him and area that had been marked off for people to dance, not even bothering to wait and see if Egon was following her. She shoved her way through the crowd to greet Jaskier, wishing him well before some fisherman approached her and asked her to dance, which she promptly agreed to. She was sure her muscles would ache tomorrow, but at the moment it seemed like the better option than trying to stomach spending time with Egon.
Geralt chuckled as he followed her toward the fair, shaking his head as she asked if he was enjoying the crowds. "No. Witchers are solitary by nature. All these people.. It's odd." He said, eyes scanning the crowd for their companions. He spotted Egon easily a good distance away on account of his height, and knew Anfrih wouldn't be far away from him, so he began to steer Verris in that direction, although he made sure to take his time.

"They're not much fun. Just a big excuse to get drunk. Although I suppose if you're one of the people swindling others of their coin, it can be quite enjoyable." He chuckled, looking down at her. He wasn't sure what to say, whether he should offer to do something with her, or leave it up to Anfrih when he finally found the other girl.

Egon felt his hands balling into fists, his face burning hot with rage as Anfrih just shrugged him away, before taking her leave through the crowd. He didn't want to admit it out loud, but the way she was so quick to write him off had his heart crumbling. "Anfrih-" He tried to call after her, seeing the small girl disappear into the crowd. His rage soon turned to jealousy when he thought of just who she was searching for. That fucking bard...

The Witcher made his way through the crowd, people parting quickly to get out of his way. It didn't feel it was fair, that she could just throw him to the side so easily, all because he wasn't ready to say the three words she wanted to hear. Was that all he was to her? Did his actions not speak louder? How gentle he was to touch her, how long had he detangled her hair and pressed soft kisses to her skin that night? He knew it had been her first time being intimate with a man, so she had no way of knowing, but that was not how he had ever been with another woman, never so sweet.

Egon made it as far as he needed too, before seeing the guard and singer wrapped in each other's arms, dancing merrily to the music that played over the crowd. Egon's face twisted in jealousy and he just huffed. The last thing he needed was to ruin the whole festival by causing a scene. If he did, the villagers would no doubt run him from the village with pitchforks.

Instead, Egon stood off to the side, his back pressed up firmly against a post in the ground. His eyes were trained on Anfrih the whole time she danced, a small part of him slightly content to see was at least having fun.
Verris followed the Witcher through the crowd, passing by all kinds of people dressed as clowns and fairies, witches and even princesses. Villagers stopped to admire the carnies and she couldn't help turn her head in the direction of a passing funnel cake. There were so many sights, scents and noises that she found herself agreeing with Geralt. It was overwhelming.

The pair made their way through the crowd and soon, even verris couldn't help but notice the second, brooding Witcher all on his own outside of the crowd of people dancing. She hurried off from Geralt's side, without thinking, to run up to Egon. "Where's Anfrih?"

The Witcher just silently pointed at a direction in the crowd, which Verris was quick to start heading in. "Anfrih?" She shouted for her friend, before spotting her in the arms of the bard. Verris pulled her brow together in confusion, remembering just how annoying they man had been. "There you are!" Verris ran up behind her friend and placed her hands on her shoulders.

Anfrih was about as happy as she could manage at the moment, focused on the dance and not stepping on Jaskier's feet, although she was incredibly aware of the Witcher's eyes on her. She didn't understand why he was so angry with her if he didn't care about her. If she was just someone he could share his bed with, he could find anyone willing to do the same. She didn't have the heart to tell him that she was going to stay in this stupid village either. As much as she wanted to travel, so see the world, she knew that traveling with him was just asking for herself to get hurt. He was a Witcher, and she was no one important to him, so it was best they she go off on her own.

When she felt Verris' arm on her shoulder she turned and beamed at her friend, pulling her into a hug. "Verris, you made it! Come on, let's dance." She insisted, apologizing briefly to Jaskier before suggesting he go find Geralt and Egon, giving Verris a moment to get used to the beat of the song before she started to lead her in the dance.
Geralt was about to ask if she wanted anything to eat when she took off at the sight of Egon, watching as the dark haired Witcher pointed out the girl dancing with none other than Jaskier. Letting out a sigh he headed over to his friend, leaning against the wall next to him as he watched the princess and the guard talk for a moment before they began to dance with the rest of the crowd.

"She's only spending time with him because she knows you'll avoid him, you know." Geralt pointed out softly. He didn't like seeing his friend so upset, but he didn't know how to help him figure out his own emotions. He watched as the bard headed in their direction, letting out a sigh. "No killing him, alright?"

Egon grunted in response to Geralt, his eyes switching from the two girls dancing to the bard who was making his way toward them. "Geralt, there you are!" Jaskier seemed a bit winded and Egon could only roll his eyes, hearing how the man's breath caught in his throat.

Jaskier was in no way trying to steal Anfrih away from the Witcher, in fact, he had plans to do the opposite. He hadn't liked seeing Anfrih so upset through out the week, but there was nothing he could've told her to get her to return to Egon. However, the bard had plenty of experience with Witchers and from what he knew about Geralt, he knew Egon had to hold some emotion for the guard.

"I am performing next and, I have a treat for the girls. A lovely song I've written, masterpiece, truly..." Jaskier went on and on before getting to the point. "You two, should go over there-" he pointed in the direction of the girls, "and ask for a dance."
Verris swayed to the music before grabbing onto Anfrih's hands, the girls dancing joyously to the beat. "It should only be a few more nights now, yanno. And then think, we will be seeing the world together!" Verris was hopeful that she would get to travel all over the continent with her best friend, seeing all the sights and monuments that they could only read about in books.

"Finally, we are both free of Redania, soon I will be free of the academy and then we can start our lives, go wherever, whenever..." Verris couldn't contain her free spirited heart. No matter how many times anyone tried to knock some sense into the child, she ignored them all, wide eyes always looking to the horizon.

"Why the fuck would I do that?" Geralt asked Jaskier when the bard suggested that they go ask the girl's for a dance, tensing a bit. Sure, he was sure he could figure out the dance if he really wanted to, but he wasn't particularly fond of dancing, especially not when Jaskier was obviously scheming. "That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, Jaskier. We should just let them dance together, not ruin their fun." He crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for Jaskier to explain a bit more why he was so interested in them dancing with the two girls.
Anfrih smiled as she danced with Verris , although her smile faltered a bit as she mentioned traveling the world with her. As much as she wanted to, she knew that she couldn't. "I'm very happy for you, Ver. You know I am.. but I don't think I can come with you." She admitted after a moment, slowing down a bit as the music slowed. "I've seen enough of the world, and you and Geralt don't need me tagging along, I'll only be a burden." She offered her friend a reassuring smile, quickly shaking her head to hush her as she began to worry. "Please don't worry, I'll be fine. I can stay here and learn to fish, or go work on a farm somewhere.. I'll manage just fine on my own, is the point."

Jaskier's face dropped, dramatically. The bard sighed before pressing his hand to his forehead, thinking about how it seemed nothing could ever be easy. "I'm sure the girls would have much more fun if you participated." The bard pushed his luck, looking in Egon's direction when spoke. "Particularly, I know, at least, one of the girls would be very happy if a certain one of you would go dance. She might not show it, but she would." He quieted his voice down as he glanced back towards Egon. Being a particularly romantic man, Jaskier was positive that his song would be able to pull out some bits of emotions from the stony men and that was exactly what both of the girls were looking for.

Egon tensed his jaw, grimacing when the bard seemed to give him a sideways glance, his hand already balling up into fist. The thought to knock a few of the bards teeth loose ran through his mind, but then he began to repeat Geralt's words in his head, no killing him. He exhaled out of his nose aggressively and turned slightly away from the bard, crossing his arms over his chest as he glanced towards Geralt. The last thing either of them wanted to do was be flailing around like clowns, trying their best to dance in a sea full of people.

"And, and, and..." Jaskier swallowed, noticing just how much larger Egon seemed to become when his body tensed. He quickly turned his attention back to Geralt, "I'm sure if only one of you goes, it'll just make the other girl jealous, so best not to keep them waiting?" Jaskier turned around to face the crowd, stepping a few feet back and wiggling his way between the two men. "Just look at them," he pointed out into the field where the princess and the guard spun each other around, "you're really telling me, neither of you have even the slightest urge to go grab those beautiful women up in your arms and woo them under this magical moon, on such a romantic night?" The bard sighed before looking up at Egon, "Especially you? Come on, you know you'd be terribly disappointed if she decided to leave your side." Jaskier's lowered his voice, speaking in a much more serious tone now. He knew of Anfrih's plans and while he wouldn't outright tell on her, it was harmless to just hint around at it.

The more the bard spoke, the tighter Egon's fists clenched, but he could hear truth in what he spoke. In some of what he spoke, anyway. No part of the hulking man wanted to dance, but he knew he would be saddened if the girl decided not to travel him with him after all. Letting out a loud, annoyed sigh, Egon relaxed his hands and dropped his arms back to his sides. "If I go dance, will you just shut the fuck up?" He pushed himself away from the wall, giving neither Geralt or Jaskier another glance as he began walking towards the crowd of people.

Arriving behind Anfrih just a few seconds to late to hear what the girls had been mumbling about, Egon placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, completely bringing the girls to a standstill. "Jaskier is about to play," he looked down at Anfrih, swallowing hard. "May I steal this dance?" He turned his head to Verris, his brows pulling together realizing just how upset she looked.

Verris was just about to argue with her friend, feeling her heart drop to her stomach. "But, Anfr-" The princess began on her rant, but was interrupted once Egon appeared behind her friend. Biting down on her tongue, she narrowed her eyes at Anfrih, but nodded, stepping away from her friend. "You may."

The princess turned her back on the couple, beginning to move away, disappearing in the crowd. She could feel her heart thumping hard in her chest and her hands were starting to get a little clammy. The air around her was starting to become hot and thick and her face was beginning to burn, but the girl wasn't sure if it was anger or fear she felt. Finding her way to the edge of the crowd, opposite of where she had entered, the princess took in a deep breath of fresh air, hoping it would help clear her head. Verris wasn't sure if she was worried about her own safety, or her friends, she did trust Geralt... The princess couldn't help feel her heart break, knowing she would be leaving her best friend behind. What if they never saw each other again, or worse...?

Geralt groaned as he listened to Jaskier's voice. He didn't care if he was making good points, he didn't dance. But by the time he opened his eyes to tell the bard to fuck off, Egon had said as much to the bard before storming off into the crowd toward Anfrih. He watched as he stopped them, apparently asking to steal Anfrih away from Verris, as the princess took off through the crowd away from the pair.

With a sigh he pushed himself from the wall, shooting Jaskier a glare as he followed after Verris, tracking her easily through the crowd. He rested a hand on her arm to let her know he was there, clearing his throat awkwardly. He'd kill Jasiker later if Egon didn't do it first. "Would.. Would you like to dance?" He asked quickly, mumbling out the question. He was sure he was far worse at dancing than the princess, but he had to admit, dancing with her did sound nice.
Anfrih was about to apologize to her friend when Egon arrive, her body tensing as he laid his hand on her shoulder and asked Verris if he could steal her away to dance. She opened her mouth to protest, before watching her friend disappear into the crowd. She turned back to Egon with a frown, crossing her arms over her chest anxiously. "I didn't know Witchers could dance.." she mumbled the attempt at a joke, glancing around the crowd nervously, frowning as she saw Jaskier waving at her from where he stood getting ready to play. Of course he'd have something to do with this..

She sighed and looked back up at Egon, forcing a little smile. "I'm surprised you went along with whatever he told you to do instead of ripping his arms off.."
