Sassanra had thanked the maid and waved the woman away. She had rested long enough that she thought she would be able to feed herself. Plus she wanted time to think about her visit with Geralt. She looked out the window, lifting the spoon to her lips. Her nose scrunched as she ate. It was awfully tiring to be eating the same thing day in and day out but she didn't dare complain. It wouldn't be long before she could eat nothing at all. Her heart stuttered at the thought as she continued to eat.
She jumped slightly when there was a knock on her door. It was so rare that she got visitors, particularly the same person multiple times in one day. When she realized that it was Geralt at the door, Sassanra was quick to set her spoon back down in her bowl. She gave him as warm of a smile as she could, inching backward so that she could sit up a bit more straight.
"Geralt," Sassanra greeted him softly. "I didn't think I would be seeing you again so soon," she attempted to joke with him. She raised an eyebrow, tilting her head to the side. "Is there something else that I could answer for you?" She asked, figuring that that had to be the only thing that would have brought Geralt back up to her room so soon.
"Or did you come to hear me sing songs of the great White Wolf?" Sassanra tested, unable to stop the twitch of her lips. It seemed natural to her, to flirt with him. She would not be here much longer and Geralt, he was an ostracized man. It was harmless, right?
