Holding her close, Matt inhaled her intoxicating smell. "I hate it too, but all that matters right now is that I am able to be with you." Matt whispered softly to her.

Vanessa gripped to him burying her face into his chest sighing, "I am just glad and thankful you're here." She whispered.

Jazmine rubbed his back, holding him to her. “And I’m thankful for that,” she said, wishing she could hold him like this forever. She loved having him close, and she clung to him after having him gone for so long.

Brian wrapped his arms around her and breathed in her enticing scent. “So am I,” he said. “I couldn’t stay away any longer.” He meant that. Every minute away from her had been torture.

Picking her up gently, Matt carried her over to the sofa. Sitting down with her, he kept her in his lap. Keeping her close, right now. After the few weeks he'd had. He didn't want to let her go.

Vanessa looked up at him smiling softly, "I'm glad you decided to not stay away no longer." She whispered leaning up kissing his lips softly as she wrapped her arms around his neck resting her body against his.

Jazmine loved being in his arms, and having him here now after the few weeks of not having him around. She leaned in and pressed her lips to his. “I missed you,” she said against his lips.

Brian nodded. “I missed you too much,” he said, picking her up and carrying her over to the couch. He sat down and had her in his lap, holding her close to him.

Matt smiled at her as he kissed her lips softly. Keeping her close against his form, he stared at her. "I missed you too, babe." Matt whispered to her.

Vanessa kept close to him as she rested her head on his shoulder. Keeping close to her boyfriend, she sighed in content.

Jazmine smiled at him. She held onto him, afraid to let go of him. She held him tightly, and let out a little yawn.

Brian held her close to him and rubbed her back gently. He was happy to have her in his arms like this. It was the only peace he had for the last few weeks.

Matt kept her close and smiled softly at her, "Why don't you rest baby?" Matt whispered kissing her forehead. "I am not going anywhere's." He promised.

Keeping close to his form, she felt him rubbing her back. He always knew how to ease her mind. A small yawn emerged from her lips as she closed her eyes. Snuggling closer to his form.

Jazmine smiled, as she snuggled in close to him. She believed that he wasn’t going anywhere. She just clung to him as she closed her eyes and relaxed against him.

Brian heard the yawn. “Babe, why don’t you get some sleep? I’m not leaving you,” he assured her, not wanting her to worry about him running off.

Looking down at her, he slowly rubbed her back softly. Keeping her close, he laid back with her laying on top of him. Making her comfortable as possible, Matt kept his arms around her.

Vanessa glanced up at Brian, "I know you're not." She whispered, slowly letting the sleep over take her mind.

Jazmine felt him stir to where she was laying above him. She sighed and let sleep take over, holding onto him.

Brian smiled and moved to where they were laying on the couch with her on top. He reached up and grabbed the blanket and covered her with it.

Watching her sleep, Matt kept his arms around her and covered her up. Smiling he looked at the window sighing a little. He'd missed this more than anyone would ever know. That man had done a number on him and he couldn't handle being away from her any longer. He just had to learn how to control everything, so he wouldn't hurt her.

As the nightmares filled her mind, Vanessa began to toss a little. Even with Brian's arms around her. The nightmares seem to get worse. It was like she was standing at the show, where he got bit. Feeling her heart race as she saw the man over Brian and him out cold. She raced for them, "BRIAN! WAKE UP!" She screamed loudly racing towards him.

Seeing the man turn around and stare at her. She began backing up staring at her boyfriend and older brother. "Get away from them." She warned, fear overtaking her.

"Or what?" The man questioned her.

"I'll find something to kill you." She whispered, above a whisper.

Hearing the laughter she felt the fear over take her. His fangs sinking into her neck, as everything went dark...

Jumping up on the sofa, Vanessa painted for air, terrified. Gripping to the back of the couch she looked around seeing Brian wasn't laying where he'd been when she fell asleep. "Oh my god." She whispered wiping the sweat from her forehead and painting for air from the horrific nightmare she'd had.

Jazmine fell asleep and was filled with nightmares. All she could see was Matt knocked out and someone standing over him. She screamed at him to get up, but it did no good. She felt stuck where she stood as she yelled.

The man straightened his back and looked over at her. “Stay away from him,” she yelled at the stranger.

“It’s too late for that,” he replied as he came closer. “Just like it is for you.”

Jaz shook her head. “I will kill you,” she growled out just as he grabbed onto her and bit her neck.

Jaz jumped awake, feeling her heart jumping in her chest. She looked around noticing Matt wasn’t where he had been. She sat up and looked around, wondering where he was.

Brian had been concerned about hurting Vanessa, so he went out to feed. He knew that this would be the only way he could protect her, but it was getting close to dawn, and no one was out. He knew she would be awaking you soon and wonder where he was, but he needed to keep himself in control for her.

Hearing Jazmine screaming out, Matt raced down the stairs from the bathroom. He'd managed to feed off someone and then showered while she was sleeping. Getting to her, he wrapped his arms around her and held her to his damp body, "Hey, hey you're ok. I'm right here." Matt told her.

Slowly getting up, Vanessa quickly searched the house and frowned. Brian had just left. Feeling the ping of pain, she sighed heavily as she walked back downstairs. She made her some tea, and sat at the island. She could feel everything from the dream. Taking her hand up to her neck she sighed in relief not to feel anything there.

Jazmine looked up at Matt and grabbed on him. “Where did you go?” she asked, noticing his damp hair. She couldn’t help the fear that something had happened while she was asleep. She pulled back to look at him and meet his eyes.

Brian stepped through her front door a little frustrated. He didn’t find anyone to feed off of. He had been afraid to venture too far from Vanessa’s home, so he had struck out. As he looked around for her, he got the sense that she had been worked up over something. He finally found her in the kitchen. “Hey, are you alright?” he asked.

"I went and fed, and took a shower." Matt told her softly keeping her close to him. "I'm right here baby. What's wrong?" Matt asked pulling back and staring down at her worried to death about her.

Vanessa turned on the stool. Seeing Brian emerge, she took and ran to him wrapping her arms around his neck. "I thought you'd left me again." Vanessa whispered as she gripped to his back burying her face into his shoulder. "I..." She whispered pulling back staring at him. "I had this nightmare. I was there when you were turned. I saw the man. He then turned and bit me." Vanessa felt the tears. "I begged him to stop. I tried to stop him." She went on the fear hitting her as her body began shaking.

Jazmine stared at Matt and shook her head. She looked up at him. "I had a nightmare. I was watching you be attacked, and the guy came after me. He bit me. I had tried to run from him, but my feet were stuck and wouldn't move," she rambled, feeling her eyes begin to water. "I couldn't get away, and he bit me. And when I woke up, you weren't here. I thought that you left again." She couldn't stop the sobs as she pressed her face into Matt's chest.

Brian grabbed onto her and pulled her in close. "I had just gone out to try to feed; I wasn't leaving you," he assured her as he rubbed her back. He felt chills run down his back when he heard about her nightmare. "It's just a bad dream, babe. I would never let anything bad happen to you." He held her close to him, holding onto her. He was afraid of what the guy who had attacked them was still around, but he would never let anything happen to his girl.

Matt frowned hearing the dream. He knew that guy was still out there. He would have to do whatever it took to keep her safe from anything harming her. "Babe, it was a dream. I am here, I won't let anything hurt you." Matt told her.

Vanessa kept close to him frowning as she wiped her eyes, "It felt so real." Vanessa whispered. "I could feel his breath. I could feel the pain." She whispered into his shoulder sighing.

Jazmine sighed against him. "I know, but it felt so real. I had thought that he was actually there," she rambled a little. She believed that Matt would protect her, but she couldn't deny that the dream felt a little too real to be just a dream. "I... I just was so scared."

Brian looked at her worried. "Hey, just breathe, okay? I'm here, and I won't let anything happen to you," he said, rubbing her back and keeping her pressed against his chest. "I promise to protect you from everything."

Matt rubbed her back soothingly, "I know baby." Matt whispered kissing the temple of her head. "How about you go soak in the tub? I'll make you some tea." Matt offered smiling softly at her.

Vanessa felt her body trembling worse, as she kept close to him. She knew he'd keep her safe. He always had, "I know you will." She whispered. "It really freaked me out." She sighed heavily.

Jazmine clung to him, not really wanting to let go of him, but a hot bath and tea sounded nice. "Okay," she muttered quietly. She pulled back and looked at him. "Sounds nice," she said.

Brian kissed her forehead and hugged her close. "I know, baby," he said. He looked at her and felt her trembling. "How about I start you a hot bath?" he asked, wanting to comfort her any way that he could.
