Amarille reached over to take the prince's hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze before lacing their fingers together. "I'll speak with her tonight, after dinner.. I'll put an end to it." She murmured softly as she looked over at where her sister sat with the royal advisor, worrying for her sister. Her sister had never shown any interest in Rainier before the last few days, and she worried that perhaps Caspian was right, that he was somehow manipulating her. And if he knew that Caspian was the werewolf... She pushed those thoughts from her head, especially when the court members began to discuss how they'd easily deal with the problem of the monster, giving Caspian's hand another squeeze as she felt his hands begin to shake, hoping to help steady him, calm him. "You've nothing to worry about, my love.." She whispered so only he could hear as her thumb gently brushed over his hand.

She looked over at him when he spoke up, however, initially afraid that perhaps he was going to confess that it was him, have the council members lock him away or worse to avoid any more deaths, but she was pleasantly surprised to hear him announce to everyone that they planned to marry, offering him a warm smile as a blush lit up her cheeks. She squeezed his hand again before turning to look at the members of the court, who were all murmuring their congratulations or discussing how glad they were that everything had worked out according to their plans. "We were hoping that the marriage could take place soon. In a few weeks if possible, or a month or so at the most. The sooner we are wed and crowned King and Queen, the sooner we can serve the kingdom."

Rainier was surprised to hear that the princess wanted to be married so soon. He'd known from what Isolde had mentioned earlier that she was head over heels for the prince, but to be married so soon.. An idea suddenly struck him, and, clearing his throat, he offered a warm smile to the newly engaged pair. "Congratulations, your highness. Perhaps to show the court and the kingdom that this business about the werewolf is nothing to be concerned about, you should have your wedding on the day of the next full moon? That would give a month to prepare everything, and I doubt that the monster would show again, after all, it has never appeared before now, and I don't believe it would stick around long enough to be discovered."

Caspian felt his glee at the situation suddenly disappear when Rainier spoke up. Just hearing the advisors voice was enough to make him snarl, but he forced himself to keep a smile. "What a lovely idea," Caspian tilted his glass towards the advisor, wondering if he caught the grimace on his face. Of course, he would suggest getting married on a full moon. The nobles and court members around the table muttered their agreement, noting on how lovely it was that the princess had so easily agreed to her first suitor, ecstatic even to have something as grand as a royal wedding to be looking forward to.

The prince brought his glass back to his lips, taking a sip before squeezing Amarille's hand, knowing she had to notice just how worried he was now. They would have to find a solution before the next full moon, or else he would run the risk of ruining their wedding. The thought broke him, hating the idea of having to share their special day with the full moon, knowing the risks that brought with it. He could already see it, finding himself unable to hide himself away before the moon would transform him, causing him to turn their wedding night into a bloodbath.

"Oh lovely!" Isolde spoke up, clapping her hands together. "Ams-" a nickname that Isolde hadn't called her sister since their childhood, "you have to let me help! Especially with the dress, oh pretty please!" Her sister was overjoyed with the plans of having the wedding so soon, instinctively glancing towards Rainier. She wondered for a moment how close they would be by the time of her sister's wedding, wondering if perhaps he would end up being her date for the occasion.

Amarille kept her composure as she listened to Rainier's suggestion, and the courts agreement to it. While that would mean that they'd be married quite soon, it also meant they'd have to find a cure, or at least a way to control his changes before then. With any luck, Isolde's witch friend would be very helpful. Caspian's grip on her hand was almost painfully tight, but she squeezed back, hoping to reassure him that everything would be fine despite his concerns.

She gave a little smile at her sister when she asked if she could help with the dress, nodding slowly as she sipped from her cup. "Of course.. I'm happy to have you help me, Isolde." She said as dinner was brought out, and the various guests around the table turned their attention to their plates and the people next to them, rather than shouting down the table to talk to the soon to be King and Queen. Amarille reluctantly released his hand so that she could eat, although she did brush her fingers over his cheek for a moment before pressing a soft kiss to the corner of his lips, offering him a small smile. "We'll manage, Caspian.. Don't worry."

Rainier was quite pleased that everyone had agreed to his suggestion to have the wedding on a full moon. Surely the prince would insist on having an early ceremony in reception, probably disguising it as a desire to have more time in the night for consummating their bond, but in reality just wanted to hide away before the full moon appeared. With any luck Rainier would be able to come up with a way to force the prince to transform whenever he desired, as well as a way of controlling the beast. How tragic would it be if the newly crowned King killed his bride at the reception dinner only hours after they'd been wed? The thought brought a smile to his face, and as dinner was brought out he turned his attention to his food, occasionally participating in the small talk he heard around him.

    [I'm gonna skip!!]

Later that evening, after dinner, Isolde had excused herself back to her room, feeling giddy about the prospect of finally sneaking out of the castle with her sister. She wasted no time in gathering up a few pieces of clothing that would help disguise them, before sneaking through the halls to her sisters room. The younger princess was quick, not wanting to be caught by any guards or even worse, Rainier.

She tapped against her sisters door, hearing shuffling and commotion from inside and she hoped Amarille was alone. As kind and pleasant as the prince seemed, she didn't think he would be content with knowing both of them were sneaking out, especially to go see a witch.

"Ams, it's me, open up! I have some clothes."

Isolde looked around, eyeing down each side of the hall, worried that any second someone could strolling by. If they caught her with a bunch of maid
clothing in her arms, it would be obvious what she was up to. Deep down, underneath the excitement of spending time with her sister outside of the castle, Isolde was nervous. She had been shocked when Rainier suggested the wedding take place on a full moon, wondering if perhaps he knew the princes' secret. She knew the risks that brought with it, but hadn't thought about anything treacherous the advisor could be planning. He didn't seem wicked to her and she wasn't suspicious of any ill will he held, but why else would he suggest... Isolde forced the thoughts from her mind, not wanting to think of him so negatively.

Amarille had managed to convince Caspian to head back to his room for the night after a walk through the gardens after dinners, knowing he wouldn't approve of her sneaking out with her sister to visit a witch. She'd been busy reading when her sister knocked at her door, jumping in surprise as the sound startled her, before setting her book down and hurrying over to open the door and let her inside.

Once the door was shut she turned to her sister with a sigh. "Are you sure this is safe? That this is a good idea?" He asked with a little frown, fidgeting with the peasant dress she'd put on before her sister had arrived, hoping it would help her blend in. "I don't feel right about this.. I worry that Caspian is suspicious, he didn't like when I said I wanted to spend the evening alone.. I'd feel more comfortable telling him what we're doing."

Isolde shut the door behind her quickly, dropping her garments onto a chair in the corner. "Do you want him to stop us?" She was quick to counter. "He will be fine without you for one evening and it's not like we're going to get hurt. Trust me." A smile broke across her face as she looked her sister up and down. "You really look the part, I wasn't sure you'd have anything to wear."

Turning back to the pile of clothes, she grabbed up a few things and headed to her sisters bathroom. "Give me just a second and we will be on our way!" Closing the door behind her, Isolde was quick to yank off her evening gown and dress in the peasant clothing she kept for such occasions.

Even though she didn't show it, she knew exactly how her sister felt. Isolde didn't quite like the feeling she had of sneaking around behind Rainiers back, but men were men and they liked to control things. If the men were aware of what they were doing, well it simply wouldn't happen.

After dressing, she slipped out of the bathroom and grabbed her sisters hand, the smile still prominent on her face. "Everything will be fine. Remember, you're doing this for him." Isolde led her sister from her room and down the hall, taking one of the many secret passages out of the castle that she knew of. Once they were in the middle of the kingdom, slinking through the streets, passing by shops and vendors who were busy closing down for the night, Isolde looked to her sister, "you can't tell me this isn't invigorating. When was the last time you saw your kingdom?"

It was Isolde's favorite, exploring the winding streets and actually speaking to her subjects on a personal level. It was such a freeing thing, to see how they truly lived, to hear how they spoke about the royal family when they thought no one was around to hear them. Their subjects loved the crown, but it was better hearing it when they spoke amongst themselves, instead of potentially lying about it in the throne room when they visited.

Amarille frowned a bit as she waited for Isodle to change, listening to her sister criticize her for not wanting to lie to Caspian. She sighed as she followed Isolde through the halls and out of the castle, tugging her shawl around her tighter. "I know that I'm doing this for him.. But I don't want to go behind his back... He's going to be my husband, my partner, I know how I'd feel about him going behind my back, I can only imagine how he'd feel." She frowned, keeping close to her sister as they moved through the streets, doing her best to avoid the gaze of anyone they passed.

"You know I don't like crowds.." she murmured as she caught up to her sister, glancing around the old buildings. "It feels wrong to not let people know who I really am.. I want them to trust me, and I don't feel like they can trust a queen who sneaks around and lies to them." She frowned, glancing around the streets nervously. "And if they ever found out about Caspian... I already know I won't be a good Queen, I don't need to make everything worse."

"You're not lying to anyone, Amarille." Isolde frowned, crossing her arms over her chest. She had hoped this would have been a more light hearted adventure, she couldn't help grow frustrated with her sister. "there's more to you than just a title. But you're going to be a great queen. And ... You're doing this for Caspian. How would you help him if he stopped you from seeking out a solution?" She grabbed her sisters hand, giving it a small squeeze as she guided her out of the kingdom, towards the woods. She couldn't blame Amarille for being worried, she wasn't used to being outside of the castle.

"It's not far. I promise," she assured her sister as they entered the forest. It didn't take long before they stumbled upon a small cottage, smoke pouring out of the chimney up towards the sky. "Don't be frightened, she's wonderful!" Isolde knocked on the door, before pushing it open. "Karina? It's Isolde! Are you home? I brought someone who needs some help..."
Caspian couldn't lie alone in his bed for long, thoughts plaguing his mind about why Amarille insisted on being alone. He wondered if she was having second thoughts about the marriage, second thoughts about him... He rose to his feet, grabbing his jacket before he left his room and hurried to hers, needing to make sure everything was alright...

He knocked on her door, once, twice... But there was no answer. "Princess?" He called, trying the door and finding it unlocked. He peeked inside and felt a sense of dread when he found her room was abandoned. Swallowing, he tried to calm himself, telling himself she must've went to Isolde's room. He closed the door on his way out, hurrying towards the other girls bedroom.

Amarille fell silent as her sister scolded her, simply nodding as she took her hand and squeezed it return. She was quite anxious about going into the forest, having never been this far away from home before, and every time she thought she heard something in the darkness she jumped a little in fear. Upon reaching the little cabin where Isolde's witch supposedly lived she froze at the door while Isolde entered, too afraid of something happening to her to step in after her sister. Hopefully Isolde would do all the talking anyway, and she wouldn't have to do much other than stand there.
Rainier had been surprised when Isolde had disappeared after dinner, and after a bit of guessing figured out that she was likely planning on sneaking out of the castle. By the time the prince rounded the corner toward Isolde's room Rainier was just stepping out, having gone in to confirm that she was indeed missing. He looked up in surprise upon spotting the prince, brows furrowing in thought. Why would the prince be here at this time of night? He looked like he was coming to Isolde's room, and the only reason he could imagine him doing that would be if he were looking for..

"Is Amarille gone too?" He asked quietly once the prince was close enough, a bit of a frown appearing on his lips. It was bad enough he had to worry about Isolde getting in trouble while she was sneaking out, but to have to worry about her dragging Amarille into danger.. "Do you think you can track them? We need to find them before they get into trouble."

Caspian grit his teeth when he noticed the advisor coming out of Isolde's room. For a moment, he ignored his question, instead offering his own. "Why are you so concerned with Isolde?" The prince wanted to know what Rainier was planning, why he was circling the younger princess like a predator to his prey. "But...yes, I can." He frowned, moving past the advisor as he caught a hint of the girls scents. He'd be able to follow it to where ever they had run off too.

As the pair made their way out of the castle, Caspian looked over his shoulder to Rainier. "Don't try lying to me, either. I know there's something going on between the two of you." He left it at that, not going further to speculate whether or not Rainier was trying to use Isolde as a pawn. He wasn't sure what the advisor could be planning, but he knew what the prince was and none of it added up.
Karina was quick to come out from the back of her hut, the witch eager to take Isolde into her embrace with a warm hug. "Child, it's been so long!" She stepped back, turning to Amarille with a smile. "Your sister? I can tell." She teased, before she ushered both girls deeper into her home, motioning for them to get comfortable. "What can I help you with, darling? A friend of Isolde I'd a friend of mine." Karina took Amarille's hands in her own, trying to assure her she was safe.

"Can you break a curse?" Isolde asked, stepping up behind her sister, letting her hand rest on her shoulder. "A prince... Her betrothed is cursed, he changes into a beast every full moon."

Karina looked between the girls before letting her gaze fall to Amarille. "Oh my sweet poor girl, I'm sorry, but I can't cure him." She hated seeing how the girls face fell. "But-" she spoke again, forcing Amarille to look at her, "I can help him."

"Am I not allowed to be friends with the princess? I was their father's advisor, I care about them." He cared about Isolde. In an ideal world Amarille and the prince would run off or die in an unfortunate accident so that he and Isolde could be together and rule this kingdom. Amarille was kind, yes, but she was weak. She didn't have what it takes to rule, unlike her sister.

Smirking a big when Caspian admitted to being able to track them he followed the prince along the path the girls had taken through the city, surprised that they hadn't stopped at any of the shops along the way. They must have snuck out an hour or so ahead of them, which would have given them plenty of time to buy something. What could they possibly be doing? "Why were you looking for Amarille? Going to tell her about your little secret?" He asked after a while, wondering if the prince had told his betrothed or not.
Amarille was nervous about being in the witch's house, despite her seeming rather kind and friendly. She instinctively tensed when the witch led her to a seat by the fire and took her hands, her tension not disappearing when Isolde came up behind her, feeling a bit boxed in. She was about to open her mouth to protest, to ask them to please give her some space, when Karina said she couldn't cure him.

Her heart fell into her stomach, her words drying up in her mouth as she sat back in her seat, looking defeated. She doubted they'd be able to find anyone else like Karina before the next full moon, and if she couldn't cure him, she doubted anyone could. She was pulled from her depressing thoughts when the witch lifted her chin and forced her to look at her, a flash of hope lighting up her eyes when she said that she could still help him. "How? He never remembers anything about the transformation.. He can't control himself. The only way to help him is to cure him."

"Bite your tongue." Caspian snarled, unable to relax his shoulders as they moved through the market. The further he followed the girls scents, the more nervous he became. Why where they heading out of the kingdom? "She already knows. We're working on a solution." That was the only bit of information he was willing to give Rainier. "Friends, perhaps, but I don't think friends hold hands and kiss, now do they?" He glanced towards Rainier, trying to see if there was any reaction to his words.

The men arrived at the gates of the kingdom and Caspian ran a hand through his hair, feeling worried sick. "Why did they leave the kingdom?" He began to quicken his pace towards the woods, noticing that their scent was fresh. It hadn't been long since they passed through here, but still, Caspian couldn't relax. Why hadn't Amarille told him where she was going?
"When you can't control a beast, you put them to sleep." She smiled, dropping the princess's hands and turning to a shelf adjacent from the fireplace. It was filled with jars and bottles that held different herbs and ingredients and as the witch plucked a few up, Isolde felt herself growing antsy. She loved watched Karina work, and she hoped they would have time to ask her a few scrying questions.

The witch moved to her work bench, where she kept a smaller cauldron. Lighting a fire inside of it, she hummed as she dropped in different bits and pieces, the only thing Isolde was able to identify was mugwart and crows feet. The witch continued to work until she was finished, bottling the potion before turning back to Amarille. It was a glowing purple, swirling around inside a little vial. "On the next full moon, before he transforms, have him drink this. He will still change, but he will remain docile, almost as if sedated. It will not harm him." Karina made sure to point that out, not wanting Amarille to think anything negative.

Rainier smirked at Caspian's outburst. The prince clearly had a temper, which only made him easier to manipulate. Sure, he was suspicious of his motives, but it would be easy enough to trick him into doing something not in his favor. "And she's still agreed to marry you anyway? My my, I'm impressed. Either she thinks the world of you, or you've somehow convinced her to go along with it." He smirked, wondering what her reasons were for wanting to marry Caspian. Perhaps she'd told Isolde what she thought of the prince, and she couldn't be convinced to tell him.

He simply shrugged when he was asked further about Isolde, shaking his head. "I have no idea where you heard such rumors. They're completely preposterous." He looked ahead when they came to the gates of the kingdom, frowning as Caspian began to lead them into the woods, this path very familiar to the man. What business would they have with her? He wondered, hoping that the princesses wouldn't be where he suspected they might be. "Who knows, I hope they're not where I expect they are.."
Amarille frowned at Karina's words, shaking her head in confusion as she watched the woman get to work. "I don't understand.. How will making him sleep help?" She asked as the witch began to work, wondering if this solution would be a permanent one or if she would have to come to the hut every month to fetch whatever she was making. She nodded a little in understanding as the witch passed the vial to her, looking down at the glowing contents. "It won't hurt him.." she repeated mostly to herself, tucking the vial safely away in the pocket of her dress when she heard noises coming from outside the hut. It sounded like there were people approaching, and she stood quickly, beginning to panic as she looked at Isolde.

"Do you think we were followed?" She asked before turning to Karina. "Please, no one can know about this.. They'll kill him if they find out the truth."

"If he sleeps, you can keep him from hurting people. Keep him hidden safely away until the morning comes. Until we can find out how to truly cure your cursed lover. We will fix this, your majesty." Karina bowed her head to Amarille, her head turning towards the door when she heard footsteps. She rarely had visitors, let alone two in one night. "Girls," Karina stood before them, as if trying to shield them in case whoever was outside happened to be a threat.

Caspian threw the door open, his nose leading him to believe the girls were still tucked away inside. At first, Karina seemed to swell with anger, until she realized she was face to face with the prince that Amarille was so desperately trying to cure. And behind him, her son.

"Rainier?" She questioned, almost immediately followed by Isolde poking her head out from behind the witch's back, in turn repeating his name.

"You followed us?" Isolde stepped out from behind Karina, curious as to how she knew his name. She guessed it wasn't so surprising, seeing as they were both magic wielders.

Caspian looked rather flustered, but could tell the girls were in no harm, even if he wasn't exactly enthused to see them in the company of a witch. "Amarille? What is going on?"

Amarille nodded a little in understanding as she spoke of using the potion to give them time to find a cure, resting her hand over the pocket she'd tucked it away in. She frowned nervously as Karina moved to stand in front of her and her sister, the princess anxiously grabbing her siblings hand as they waited for whoever it was to enter it. Her eyes widened as Caspian threw the door open, looking rather flustered and anxious, the princess quickly pushing past the witch to go to her fiance's arms, taking his hands in hers and squeezing them gently as she looked up at him with a friend, feeling awful for having lied to him.

"I'm sorry, Caspian.. We just wanted to try to help you. Isolde knew about the witch, and convinced me to come with her to try to find a cure for you. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I didn't think you'd let me go, and I didn't think you'd come looking for me.." she murmured, reaching her hand up to lightly rest against his cheek, looking over his shoulder at Rainier as the advisor stepped into the hut at moved toward the witch, her brows furrowing as the man leaned down to press a kiss to the woman's cheek.

"Mother, you're looking well... Have you been the one encouraging the princess here to sneak out?" He asked with a small smile, giving his mother's hand a squeeze before he looked over at Isolde. "We realized you both were missing and got worried.. one princess sneaking out is one thing, but two is another matter. I'm just glad you seem to have not gotten into too much trouble."

Caspian grimaced when Rainier pushed past him, growing even more weary when he noticed the advisor knew the witch. It all smelled like trouble to him, and he wanted nothing more than to get both of the girls away from the hut and back to the castle. He just shook his head at Amarille, pressing a kiss to her forehead to reassure her that he wasn't upset with her. "I just wish you would've told me," he whispered, before reaching a hand out towards Isolde. "Come on, I'm taking both of you back to the castle. Now." The prince was beginning to feel riled up, like a beast who was being forced into a corner. His voice was heated and stern, causing Amarille's sister to take a step back, closer to Karina.

Isolde didn't much appreciate Caspian trying to tell her what to do. Her sister was one thing, after all, Amarille had agreed to marry him, but that didn't give him dominion over her. He wasn't king yet. That, and she was still trying to wrap her mind around the fact that she just learned she had been spending lots of time with Rainier's mother, without knowing it.

"I'm capable of finding my own way back, Caspian." Isolde tried to argue, but before she could even get his name out of her mouth, the prince was stepping towards her, wrapping his free arm around her shoulder, forcing her towards the door. The look he gave her was daring her to argue with him as he flashed a glare towards the advisor, before returning his gaze towards her. "Do you know how dangerous it is, not only sneaking out of the castle, but out of the kingdom? Where there are no guards around, no one to help you if something happened? What if you two were attacked some rabid animal, or some strange man out in these woods?"

Isolde tried to force herself out of Caspian's grip, her face flushing of all color, but it was of no use. She was beginning to grow very tired of men trying to tell her how dangerous the world was and how she needed to be protected. "We will see you back at the castle, at tomorrow's breakfast, Rainier." Caspian barely gave the advisor a farewell as he turned and forced the two princesses out of the hut, back towards the castle.

"Excuse me!" She finally jabbed at him, once the door to the witch's home was closed and they were far enough away to where neither the witch nor Rainier could hear her outburst. "But who do you think you're trying to control here, Caspian?" She didn't care if her sister thought she was being rude, after all, they had only left the safety of the kingdom to try and help him. "It's one thing if you want to sweep my sister back to the castle, but I can make my own decisions."

Amarille closed her eyes when Caspian pressed the kiss to her forehead, giving a little nod when he said that he wished she'd told him. "I know, I'm sorry, my love... I feel awful for lying." She looked over at Isolde as Caspian insisted that he bring them both back to the castle, squeaking in surprise when he simply grabbed her and her sister and pulled them out of the cabin and began to bring them back to the castle. She knew he was upset, and could tell that Isolde was certainly unhappy with the way things were going. By the time Isolde had her outburst she'd managed to free herself from Caspian's grasp, although she kept her arm linked with her fiance's, wanting to stick close to him.

She frowned as Isolde spoke, squeezing his hand reassuringly. "Isolde, please listen.. I don't think that you can trust Rainier. He knew about Caspian's curse before any of us did, and Caspian doesn't think that we can trust him." She said, reaching for her sister's hand. "Please, Isolde, just come home with us. Caspian is just upset that I lied, that we worried him by disappearing." She explained, resting a hand on Caspian's arm, hoping to calm him down.
Rainier was unsurprised when the prince growled at him and dragged both of the princesses off, although he knew it was for the best. Isolde clearly was not fond of the prince's new attitude, and Amarille looked like a fool for blindly following him no matter what. After speaking to his mother for a little while he apologized for disturbing her before leaving. The royals were a good ways ahead of him by now, but if he knew Isolde she'd break off on her own.

Isolde frowned, putting more of a distance between herself and the prince, looking at her sister like she had lost her head. "So just because this man comes waltzing into our kingdom and you find yourself falling in love with him, I should believe him when he tells me not to trust a man who has advised our father long before we were even conceived?" Isolde couldn't believe what her sister was saying, beginning to think maybe Caspian truly was a monster. He seemed to be filling her sister's head with all sorts of nonsense. "If Caspian woke up in the morning and told you that you shouldn't trust me for some reason, would you believe him on that too? If Rainier knew about his curse and held any sort of ill will towards this prince, don't you think he would've already brought this up to the court?"

The younger princess couldn't believe how this night was ending. "All I wanted was for you to forget about your duties, for one night, Ams. I was trying to help you, I was trying to help you," she turned her attention to Caspian, narrowing her eyes at him, "I wanted one night where we could pretend we were young again, escaping the castle and just having fun, all while also trying to find a cure for your fiance, but instead, it has to end like this." She wasn't sure why she felt so betrayed, feeling sick to her stomach. "Rainier would never hurt either of us."

Amarille frowned deeply as Isolde began to speak, face falling as she listened to her criticize her. She hated that her sister was fighting with her, that she too was unhappy with her just like everyone else in the castle. She released Caspian's hand, holding her hands up in defeat. "What do you want me to do, Isolde? Everyone is constantly trying to get me to do what they want, and it's impossible to please everyone and also please myself. My entire life I've gone out of my way to please everyone, and the one time I find something, someone that makes me happy, you and everyone else are trying to take that from me." She frowned, glaring at her.

"You've always been selfish, Isolde. You don't think of the consequences of your actions. You just assume that because you're a princess and because you're not first in line you can do whatever you want without any repercussions, but every time you get caught sneaking out I'm the one who gets in trouble. Everytime you say or do something that the parliament disapproves of I'm the one who has to deal with it. For once can you stop acting like a child and grow up and take your responsibilities seriously?" She snapped, frowning at her before turning and storming off back toward the kingdom. She didn't care what Isolde did right now, she was very angry with her and didn't want to have to walk back with her.

Isolde watched her sister turn around and storm off, her mouth gaping open in surprise. When had she ever said she wanted her sister to be unhappy, to not love Caspian as fiercely as she wanted? All she had wanted was some alone time with her sister, to pretend like their lives were normal again, like before their parents had died, before her sister had been forced to grow up far too soon and marry. Picking her jaw up off the floor, she glanced towards the prince, unable to stop herself from glaring at him. "Well, go after her." She spat, feeling like her sister's words had cut her sharply like a knife.

The prince eyed Isolde, before glancing in the direction Amarille had stormed off, before looking back to Isolde once more. He slumped his shoulders, wondering to himself briefly why he couldn't have just stayed in bed. It wasn't his fault that both of the girls were acting like children, fighting over something so stupid. "Will you be able to-"

Isolde cut the prince off, raising her hand to silence him, "Go after her." She didn't want to hear him try to make her out like some poor girl who needed escorted back to the castle. She had been sneaking out far longer than he could even guess. If her sister believed her to be selfish, then she would show both of them just how selfish she could be. Isolde turned away from the prince, making sure to take a different route home, a longer one.

Caspian sighed, before hurrying after Amarille, not feeling like arguing with either of them, though. Catching up to her, Caspian rested his hand gently on her shoulder, forcing her to stop. "You know your sister did not mean to make our relationship out like..." He frowned, not knowing what to say to her to calm her down. "You two are so different, but at the end of the day, your sister will always be there for you." He was trying his best to mend their little fight, but he could tell just how upset Amarille was. "After all, did your sister not lead you to a witch that could help us, hmm?"
Isolde found herself back at the castle, sobbing as she slowly strolled through the gardens, not wanting to go back inside just yet. The moon hung in the sky overhead, glowing brightly above her, but yet, it wasn't enough to help her feel better. The princess had tried her hardest to blink away the burning tears as she made her way through the kingdom, but now that she was alone in the gardens, she was willing to let the tears fall. She had never felt so lonely, and all she had wanted was one night with her sister. After all, right after their father's death she had been granted a prince who truly seemed to love and care for her, but what did Isolde have? She had been so upset when Amarille tried telling her she couldn't trust Rainier, because he had been the only person to give her any sort of attention ever since her sister had fallen head over heels for the prince, ignoring her almost entirely for him.

Sinking down on one of the benches, overlooking the kingdom and situated beside a beautiful fountain that had been overgrown with roses and vines, she let herself weep. She had never intended to fight with her sister or hurt her. The princess refused to return inside of the castle until she had let it all out, hoping to cry herself dry before anyone could find her.
