The Colorado sun was setting in the sky, casting shadows down on the run-down parts of downtown Boulder. The hotspot for transactions of the lucrative variety. Many often feared coming down this area at this time. Not Riley though, no, she grew up coming down here. Learning the business from her adopted father and Miss Sue when she was old enough. This was her usual haunt when she was working. Distributing things for the Dancing Devil's.

"Jamie, baby," Riley called out softly, excitement in her voice as she saw one of her long time buyers coming up to her. Well, she's only gotten the okay from Papa H to seel on the streets last year. His dark shit colored eyes half-hidden by the hood of his hoodie, but that mole on the right side of his cheeks giving him away easily to Riley. "Baby Rie," Jamie said in his groggy smoked to much voice. Jamie opened his arms for a hug and Riley walked right into the embrace. Missing the peck on the lips that he always tried to give her. Her lips were saved for the MC's dicks only.

A small giggle escaped from Riley as the way she usually did transactions happaned. His right hand came around and cupped her ass so that anyone who passed by the thought that they were just hugging. Then, he'd pull out his purchase. His money had been slipped into her right bra cup. His fingers having brushed against her nipple as he did so. Causing a shiver to always run down Riley's back. "I'll see you next week, babe," Riley said sweetly as she grabbed onto his hands as he pulled away from her. A crooked missing teeth smile was given to her from the crack addict. "Same place, same time." He murmured, leaning in to kiss Riley once more, but he only got her cheek. Chase was watching from a couple of building down, if he saw her being kissed by a man that wasn't from the Dancing Devils then she'd get her ass whooped when she got back to the clubhouse.

Taking a couple of steps back, Riley watched as Jamie sauntered off. A little sway in his step from still being the influence of something. "Let's go baby Rie," Chase said as he moved his bike to the opening of the alley and motioned for her to hop onto the back. "Kay," Riley said softly as she moved towards the bike and smoothly swung her leg over the back of his bike. Her arms snaked around Chase's waist and resting her cheek against his back as her thighs squeezed his. Chase revved the engine and then took off at a rocketing pace at first and then slowed as they took in the afternoon heat. Riding in the late afternoon was always Riley's favorite.

About ten minutes into their ride, the sound of a police siren caught the duo's attention and Chase glanced in his side mirror while Riley glanced over her shoulder. "Shit." Chase cursed and shouted over his shoulder to Riley. "Hold tight!" He instructed Riley and sped up. Riley did so without needing to be told twice. Her face buried into Chase's back as he drove. At times like this, it was a good thing that someone was on the back, they could hide the club's patch. Making it harder for the police to figure out what club the guy's from and with the girls always pressing they're faced into the guy's back they're hard to find as well.

Swerving and turning this way and that, Chase led the cops on a fun little chase around the downtown area before successfully losing them. The cop never stood a chance when chasing down Chase. He was the most reckless of the club by far. "Whoo! That was exciting, huh little Rie?" Chase asked once they had reached the clubhouse and helped the young girl off of the bike. A small giggle escaped from Riley as she accepted the kiss from Chase as he kept his hands on her arms. Pressing her back till she was sitting on the bike's seat. Her lips moved against his like an obedient little girl that was owned by the MC. "It was, you gave them a run for their money, Chase," Riley said quietly once Chase pulled away.

"Come on, we gotta hand the money over and inform Ryker and Hawkins what went down on our way back." A small tired groan escaped from Riley as she obeyed and followed Chase into the clubhouse. A couple of people glanced up when they entered, but mostly ignored them. It was still a bit early for most of the guys to be in. "Yo, Ryker," Chase said in greeting as he came up to the VP and gave the man light punch on the shoulder in greeting. The guys were at the bar part of the clubhouse, and Riley got a little excited seeing that Missy was working it today. Missy was the girlfriend of a member names Dirk Canning's, an enforcer, and she was the closest thing to a sister as Riley's ever had.

Forgetting about handing the money over to Ryker, Riley leaned against the bar counter and waited to get Missy's attention. Except, the clearing of Chase's throat caught Riley's attention and acted as a reminder that she forgot something. "Huh?" She mumbled quietly, looking towards the two men they mumbled "Oh," As she turned to face Ryker and stuck her right hand into her shirt top and started to pull out the cast that she hid there. Then, pulled it out of her back pockets as well. Her tight clothing making it a little hard to get everything in one grab, but she managed. Straightening the cash, Riley handed the wad of a couple of hundred over to Ryker.

Ryker set his pool stick down when he saw Riley and Chase make their way into the clubhouse. He nodded to the guy he was playing with, who ended up nodding back before walking his way towards the liquor area. Chase went immediately towards Ryker and they started to whisper to each other. Although everyone in the gang knew about the drug business, they didn't need everyone sticking their noses into areas that weren't their concern. Besides, even though stitches were not a huge concern, it would stop someone from taking everyone down.

When Riley handed him the wad of money over, Ryker ran his thumb over it before shaking his head a bit. "Is this it?" He said roughly to Chase. The man frowned deeply as he leaned in and started to whisper more to Ryker. It ended with Ryker letting out a gruff scoff. "Figure it out then, Chase," He said before motioning to Chase to head off. Chase was a hard worker so this wasn't going to be something Ryker really grind down on him...unless it became a more serious issue.

His eyes slowly shifted back to Riley, seeing that she was still only half paying attention to what was going on in front of her. It seemed that the young woman had her mind on something but Ryker didn't really care what it was. He wanted to speak to her and she sure as hell knew better than to push him off. "Come, Riley," Ryker said before he turned around and made his way to the back of the clubhouse where his office was. It wasn't like he did a lot of work in there but fuck they needed to put their important shit somewhere.

Once they were both in there along, Ryker turned his back to the girl and went to the safe. "Any trouble rise up when you were out?" Ryker asked her as he unlocked it and put the stack of cash inside before locking it. When the money was safe, Ryker turned back to Riley, leaning back into the wall as he did so. His eyes focused on her closely. The truth was he had a bit of a sweet spot for Riley. Though everyone in the gang knew it. But how could he not after everything?

"You know that the police have been on our ass lately. You gotta be careful. You remember what I taught you right? Keep an eye and ear open at all times. Well that is especially true now. You've been doin well lately but I don't want you to think that is a reason to start acting stupid. You ain't stupid right?"

Looking away from the bar and the person that she wanted to speak to, Riley saw that Ryker was heading towards his office. Meaning he wanted a private chat, which Riley didn't mind. Ryker was a scary guy if you didn't know him, but Riley did. She grew up in the clubhouse, she knew almost all of the guys for years and Ryker was one of them. He may be a hard and scary guy, but only if he needed to be. If she got a beating, it was because she deserved one, not because he felt like it. Or anyone else for that matter.

When she stepped foot into the office, Riley didn't need to be told as she closed the door behind herself quietly. Riley glanced around the room, feeling a sense of nostalgia washing over her. When she was a kid, she'd come in here all the time to do her homework while Papa Hawkin's did his business for the gang. She wasn't able to be alone or rather trusted to be alone at his place till she was twelve. So she spent about six years hanging out in this room, coloring, doing work and being an annoying little shit.

Glancing towards Ryker as he put the cash into the safe, Riley listened as he asked her a question. "Not that I've noticed," Riley said quietly, taking a couple of steps into the room. She made her way over to the leather black couch that was against the right side of the room and sat down. Her legs coming up and crossing underneath each other. "Jamie keeps trying to kiss me, but that's about the only trouble I have. The guys are good protectors." Her eyes glance towards Ryker and then looked at the wall across from her. Looking at the picture of Ryker, Hawkins and a couple of the other members. It was back when the gang was small, but now they're almost twenty strong.

Raising her gaze once more to Ryker's pretty hazel eyes, Riley wrinkled her nose a little bit at the reminder he was offering her. "No sir, I ain't stupid. I've learned from the best." She told him, hoping that some ass-kissing would make him worry a little less about her. "Plus, I got a pocket knife from Papa Hawkin's, so I can defend myself." She told him, sounding quite happy with herself. Most of the guys had guns on them at all times to protect themselves, so having something of her own made her feel quite good.

"Jamie is going to get himself a harsh beating by one of these boys if he isn't careful," Ryker told her as he shook his head. Jamie was a good customer of theirs but he knew some of the boys had bad tempers on them. It was clear to Ryker that the man was just some druggie who probably didn't realize what actually kissing Riley would mean for him. Though the day he succeeded might be the day Jamie got a good ass whopping if the wrong gang member saw it. Plus, it would surely mean Riley would get a kick on the ass by not being able to avoid it. She was gang property.

"Yeah, the guys do their jobs well enough but these officers aren't playing around," Ryker told her as he reached back and grabbed onto his shoulder, stretching out his muscular body a bit. The motion caused him to flex a bit.

As he listened more to Riley, he let out a low chuckle. It was clear to him that Riley was just ass-kissing now...not that Ryker mind it much from her. Riley had a pretty mouth on her and she knew how to use it. The lovely words that would leave those lips were nothing short of emotional genius. Ryker was convinced that she could get any member here to do anything she wanted at times... Though there were other times that he was sure those same lips were going to get her beat.

"Good. I know I never taught you to be stupid and I am sure as Hell that Hawkin's didn't either. But just because you ain't stupid doesn't mean you're gonna always get out of trouble. Remember to keep your eyes open and your wits about you when you're out. I know some of these others do but don't be drinking before you go out either." He pushed himself off of the wall and headed over to Riley and laid a hand on her head, messing her hair up a bit as he did so. "Hawkin will have everyone's ass if somethin happens to you so stay safe for all of our sakes."

Most of what Ryker was saying was going in one ear and out the other. She's heard his little protective speel for a while now. Since she started doing jobs for the club, so her focus was mainly focused elsewhere. Like on those strong arms of his that flexed when he raised his arm to touch his shoulder. Or the way that his shirt hugged his muscular body. Ryker was one of the fittest members in the club, rivaled only by a couple.

Blinking her eyes, Riley wrinkled her nose as she snapped out of her thoughts as a hand landed on her head. "You worry too much," Riley mumbled quietly. "If Papa H thought that it was too dangerous for me to be workin, then he woulda had me do things here," Riley told Ryker as she raised a hand and tried to pull Ryker's larger hand off so she could fix her hair. Being a girl owned by a bunch of bikers meant that she needed to always look attractive, and she knew that messy hair wasn't attractive.

A small huff escaped from Riley when Ryker finally removed his hand from her head. "What about the cops that the club pays? Can't they get the other's off of our backs a bit?" Rily asked as she rested back on the couch. Her bright green eyes looking up towards the deep hazel eyes of the vice president of the club. Her head tilted to the side slightly as she listened, her lips pursing into a thin line a bit. It was nice talking to Ryker alone like this, it was a nice change from his usual gruff self that he shows when he's around the guys. Although, the other girls tend to get jealous that the VP cares so much about the kid. Often times leaving her out of their little shopping trips on the club's dime.

"Do you think starting to sell in a different part of town for a while will get the cops off our backs? Confuse em a bit?" Riley asked, wondering if her suggestion would be even a little bit helpful.

As Riley spoke, Ryker shook his head a bit. There was no doubt that Riley was still young and naive. She was a smart girl but there was plenty about the gang and the rest of the world that she did not know. Which was only right that she did not yet. But the truth was, Hawkin probably did have to allow Riley to get into situations he didn't want her to be in due to his role in the gang. If it was up to him, Riley probably wouldn't be on the streets at all with the others but while it was clear she was his favorite, Hawkin couldn't push on that too hard without causing trouble with the other girls.

"Just keep an eye out," Ryker told her as he relaxed his body a bit. There was nothing that Ryker could really do but besides telling Riley to be careful. He would check up on her, have this conversation time and time again to ensure that the young girl did not get over her head. A big ego often got members in trouble. And how could Riley not have one when she was the boss' favorite? And she was tended to be treated better than everyone else because of it.

"The cops can only do so much for us before they start lookin too suspicious. They need to be careful to not get caught and we don't want them getting caught. Fuck, they might need to lay low for the few few weeks until the pigs are busy doing something else. What we need is someone to do something really crazy to catch their attention but for now, everyone is meant to be careful." Ryker told her as he started to walk away from her.

"Enough of this talk now." Ryker said as he dismissed her suggestions. Riley was a smart girl but he didn't need her assistance in these matters. He didn't take much advice from the girls in the gang, and for a good reason. But usually it was because he was typically five steps ahead of their ideas anyways.

A small huff escaped from Riley as she rolled her eyes. Of course, Ryker wouldn't listen to her, she was just a little girl in his eyes still. She had no place giving suggestions. All she was good for was to keep the other guys' company and to sell things that the gang told her that she needed to sell. She had no right to do anything unless she was told otherwise. At least, that's what she's been told by everyone her whole life growing up in the gang.

"Whatever you say, Ryker," Riley said quietly, backing down. She knew better than to try and fight the man on the subject. The last thing she needed at the moment was to get a slap for talking back to one of the bosses of the club. Riley watched as Ryker walked away from her, eyes moving towards those tight jeans he was wearing and checking out his nice tones ass. To be honest, Riley thought that Ryker's ass was the best in the club, most of the girls thought so as well.

Slowly, Riley stood up from the couch. She bent over and pulled her shorts down a little bit, as they riled up a bit and were feeling a little uncomfortable. Then, as she stood up Riley set out a small sigh as she straightened the rest of her hair that Ryker messed up. "If you don't mind, sir. I'd like to get a drink. It was a hot day on the streets." Riley said quietly, looking towards Ryker to make sure he gave her the okay to leave before she went and exited the office. Making sure to sway her hips a little bit more than usual as she did so. Hoping that a good show for the VP would get rid of any sort of annoyance the man would have with her snippy words. An if not, well, Ryker could come and get her later to punish her.

Closing the office door quietly behind herself, Riley headed out towards the main floor of the clubhouse. It was slowly starting to fill up, the guys finishing jobs of some sort, or just stopping in before they head out. Walking towards the bar once more, Riley couldn't help but grin as she spotted Missy coming her way. A cold glass of water with mint in it coming her way. "Thank you, Missy!" Riley said politely to the bartender as she accepted her drink. "No problem girlie," Missy said, then winked as she turned towards the guys who were ready to order something.

Raising the drink to her lips, Riley was quick to realize why Missy had winked at her. She slipped some sort of alcohol into her drink. Being underage still, sucked when around the bar, but Missy always made sure to try and slip the youngest something to help her relax after a job.

"Ay, Baby Rie. Come here" Riley heard one of the men say from behind her. Turning, Riley watched as a brother named Shooter patted his lap as he sat at a table with a couple of other patched members. Cards were laid on the table and it didn't take a genius to know that they were playing poker.
Walking over with her drink, Riley obeyed and took the offered seat on the man's lap. Doing her best to ignore the slight hard thing poking at her leg. "What're we playing?" Riley asked as she relaxed into Shooter's chest. Her gaze looking towards Shooter's cards as he placed a hand on her thigh, his thumb resting barely inside and starting to do little circles on her soft skin. "Poker, and you're going to be my good luck charm. Right?" Shooter asked as he glanced at Riley through the corner of his eye. "Of course," Riley replied and offered him a small smile before taking a sip of her drink and looking towards the game.

Ryker glanced back as Riley asked to leave the office. He gave her the go ahead, after all, there was nothing more that they needed to speak about. So he didn't have a good reason to keep Riley with him. Though as she walked out of his office with that sway to her hips, a smirk came over his face. He liked the way Riley's ass looked. He liked it even more when she was willing to give me a little show. He found that Riley was always ready to give him a little something extra if he seemed to be in a bad mood... There were times that he wanted to take what it seemed she was offering too.

Though with a little shake of his head, Ryker tried his best to keep that out of his mind as he turned back to some of the items in the office. He might as well get a few calls done before going back to his poker game. Besides, once everyone came back, Ryker was ready to have a bit more of a fun time.

    -switching to Joel-

Joel shoved his hands into his pockets as they started up to the front of the hangout. He was currently with three other initiatives and two members of Dancing Devils, Nails and Pitbull. They had been showing them the ropes today, trying to make sure that himself and the other three had what it took to actually be apart of the gang. After all, they didn't want any snitches or 'weak ass motherfuckers' hanging with them. So Joel had to do some shit that he normally wouldn't to get in good with them. It was important that they saw potential in him.

The truth was, Joel was a member of the local police department and was being sent in to take them down. Undercover work wasn't pretty and there was a fear of being found out. But this was important. They needed to stop the drugs that flowed through the streets and more than that, the gang wars and murders of innocents. They knew the Dancing Devils were apart of the drug market but the department also wanted to see what else they were involved in. Plus, they needed evidence.

As they headed into the hideout, Joel started to look around. Unlike the other three he was with, Joel actually did his research on everyone. He knew who was here, knew what their roles probably were and knew who were probably top dogs. Of course, their research couldn't be for certain but there were a few things that had to be true. When his eyes dropped onto Riley, a huge grin came over his face. That was the one girl he knew he needed to get in with. He winked at Riley and moved his attention back to Pitbull when he started to speak.

"We're going to spend half an hour here. Don't get too comfortable, you're not in yet. We need to get some shit set up and then we're going to take all of ya on a ride. Don't piss anyone off." With that, Pitbull and Nails headed off towards the back. Joel moved to the bar, getting two glasses of liquor before making his way over to Riley, still the same charming grin over his face. He sat down next to her, although she was sitting in another man's lap and offered her one of the glasses. "A pretty girl like you shouldn't be without a drink." This was a bit risky since she was preoccupied but he was pretty sure she wasn't actually taken based off of the surveillance they had done.

Out of the corner of her eye, Riley caught movement by the front door. Now usually, she'd just ignore the idea of the front door opening, but, after talking to Ryker. Well, she was a little paranoid about things. So, she turned her head and watched with slight interest as six people came into the clubhouse. Instantly, Riley realized that Nails and Pitbull were in the lead, then, she looked towards the four others and noticed that they didn't have the leather jacket or patch that the DD members had. Meaning, these guys were fresh meat.

Slowly, Riley leaned back into Shooter's chest as he played. His hand's movements becoming unnoticeable as she paid more attention to the newbies then to the place that Shooter's fingers were moving. "Nails said he's impressed with the skinny kid." Zeke, an older member with dark brown hair and a couple of grey hairs at the front said from his seat at the table. A cigarette loosely hanging from his lips. Dark grey eyes gazing down to see what his cards looked like for this round. "Said he's pretty ruthless." A snort came from Shooter as he leaned forward slightly to draw another card. Causing Riley's ass to grind against his crotch because of the movement.

"They all look like pansies to me." Shooter mumbled, leaning back as he looked down at his cards. Riley looked at the cards as well. but not before blushing slightly at the wink that was sent her way. Although, she didn't have a clue how to play. Ryker and Papa H tried to teach her on multiple occasions when she was younger, but she never understood it. Meaning, she's also not been able to give anyone away if she was to sit in on a game.

A couple of moments later, the scraping of the chair next to her, caught Riley's attention and caused her to look away from the game once more. "Huh?"She mumbled quietly in confusion, then slowly reached out to accept the drink that was brought to her by this stranger. "Um, thank you?" Riley mumbled quietly. "Ay, watch it, boy." Shooter grumbled as his dark eyes narrowed at the young man. "You may be an initiate, but we can still kick your ass for getting any ideas to mess with our girls." It was a warning from one of the top hitmen in the club. "Chill out, Shooter. Let the kids talk." Zeke mumbled, eyes still down on the cards.

Looking warily between the two men, Riley didn't know how to react. Or, who the heck she should be listening to. Shooter, the brute who's territorial like an unfixed male dog or to Zeke, the sensible seeming adult who didn't seem to be paying much attention to things.

Deciding to take the chance to talk to someone who seemed sorta closer to her age, Riley turned back towards Joel and offered him a small smile. "Um, thank you." She said quietly as she reached out and slowly took the drink from the new guy's hand. A small spark shot up Riley's arm at the small bit of contact as their fingers brushed against each other's. Although, Riley did her best to ignore the feeling as she raised the glass to her lips and shivered once more as the liquor touched her tongue. This time, the shiver didn't go un-noticed as Shooter grumbled. "Stop getting so damn frisky, you're making my dick harder then it is." Hearing that, Riley blushed as she glanced up at shooter and then looked down at to the side. Embarrassment coursing through her veins. She just met someone new for the first time in years and Shooter just had to go and embarrass her like that.

"Little Rie." Zeke's voice caught Riley's attention. Raising her gaze, Riley looked at the other man. Her head tilted ever so slightly to the side. "Why don't you go shoot some pool with the new kid?" While it might have sounded like an offer from the other man, Riley could slightly hear his undertone. He was telling her to get out of his hair so he could play his damn game. "Y-yes, sir," Riley said quietly, then slowly stood from Shooter's lap. His hand slid down her bare thigh and leg as she did so. Reaching out, Riley offered her free hand to the new guy, a sweet smile playing along her lips. "Come on. let's play." Riley said, sounding as sweet as possible as she waited for the guy to take her hand and then turned her back to him as she led him towards the pool tables.

"I think you'll find it a lot hard to kick my ass than you may think. In fact, I doubt you would be able to take me head to head. I mean unless you get all your buddies to help you." Joel told Shooter with a chuckle. Though before Shooter was really able to get a word out, Joel waved the thought away and continued on. "I ain't trying to cause any trouble. I thought I would just talk to a pretty girl and drink before we gotta go back out again." Joel knew that he might be ruffling some feathers but he didn't think it would benefit him to back down. Besides, Joel did know how to rumble and although Shooter looked tough, Joel was pretty sure he was smarter.

He watched Riley and Shooter closely as they interacted. Though as Shooter grumbled about Riley getting frisky, Joel couldn't help the grin that came along his face. Well, that was a good sign. He wanted to get in good with Riley. She was one of the top people that it was important to be friendly with.

When the other man suggested going to shoot some pool, Joel moved onto his feet. The faster he could get away from Shooter, the better for now. He pressed his hand down into Riley's when she offered it and followed the woman as she headed towards the pool tables.

"So, is Shooter your boy or something?" Joel asked her once they were far enough away from them to hear. When they were at the pool tables, Joel shot down his drink and set it down on a table before grabbing all of the balls and pushing them towards the middle of the table to get ready. Joel knew a little about pool but he wasn't the best at it. But there was a good chance that he would be great at the game before he got to leave.

As they approached the pool table, Riley let go of Joel's hand. Her bright green eyes flashed to him for a moment before she turned and headed towards the Q-sticks. "I don't t see how that's any of your business." Riley said casually as she looked at the sticks for a couple of moments more, before finally picking one that looked appropriate for her size. "If you must know though, he's just a touchy drunk." She added as an afterthought. Not really seeing the point in turning his question down completely since he was a recruit.

Grabbing the dust cube that was to the right of the sticks, Riley leaned against the pool table. Her hip pressed into the dark wood as she rubbed the dust thing onto the end of her stick. "Are you going to tell me who you are? Or, am I just going to assume you're a nobody who's going to quit after getting Shooter's feather's ruffled?" Riley glanced up towards Joel, curious about his words.

Dropping the dust cube back onto the place it was resting, Riley stood up straight. Her short tank top raised a little bit as she breathed in a deep breath and then sighed. "Do you know how to play?" She asked, pulling her top down a bit as she turned towards Joel, her head tilted a little bit to the side as she watched the newbie. "You won't survive a full night here if you don't know how." She teased, then motioned with her head towards the Q-sticks. "Find a stick that is your arm's length."

"I call solids," Riley said casually as she walked around towards where Joel had put the balls and grabbed the triangle thing for the balls. She set it on the pool table and motioned for Joel to set it up. Her eyes were focused on the table, thinking about how she was going to shoot first when a prickle at the back of her neck caused her to shiver ever so slightly. Causing a small sigh to escape from her as she raised a hand slowly to the back of her neck. She had a bad feeling that something was going to happen.

As Riley answered his question, Joel just nodded. That was good to know, that Shooter wasn't her boyfriend or something. They did have reports that pointed to Riley being single, but who knew if that was correct. But it would help him if she was. Not to toot his own horn but Joel knew that he was attractive. And if he could pull Riley in, then maybe she would be willing to tell him more than if they were just members of the same gang. As for the other girls, he knew that they would not be as useful.

Joel let out a chuckle at her words, his head lifting up to meet her eyes. "The name is Joel, they haven't given me a nickname yet." He told her. Of course, Joel was not his real name but an alias that the police department gave him. "And I am not worried about Shooter over there. I'm pretty sure that I can take him." He told her as he gave her a wink. "If we do get into a fight, put your bets on me, miss."

Once the pool table was ready, Joel stood in front of it and motioned for Riley to go first. "I know how to play a little. Certainly no expert at it though." He told her honestly. There was no point in lying since Joel couldn't fake being good at pole. Either he was or he wasn't. But he hoped that he would at least be good enough competition to not make it boring on Riley. "Then I'll take stripes." He said with a chuckle.

As Riley shot first, Joel stayed quiet, not wanting to interrupt her move. But once it was his turn, Joel started to slowly walk around the table, thinking about his first shot. "Can I assume that you play often?" Joel asked as he motioned to the pool table. Once he found a good spot. Joel leaned down and started to shoot.

Focusing back into the game, Riley did her best to pay attention to what Joel was saying, but. To be honest, she wasn't really able to because she had this inkling feeling that something was up with this guy. He was so talkative, so interested in getting to know her. It was weird. Then again, Rie grew up in this club. Everyone here knew her since she was in diapers. So, maybe it was just her not being used to being around strangers that were causing Rie to feel weird.

"I don't do bets," Riley mumbled quietly as she watched the pool balls roll around the table. Her mind following their movements and trying to figure out her next move before she took it. "Joel," Riley repeated, testing his name on her lips. "I'm Riley, and I don't think you understand what you're talking about," Riley mumbled as Joel talked about betting on fights. In the Dancing Devils, fights were right of passages, the losers oftentimes ended up in hospitals. That was something that Riley didn't want to bet on. The thought of her friends or young recruits getting hurt was a huge turn off for the young girl.

Slowly, Riley ran her tongue over her lips. Her head lifted as she watched Joel move around. Getting his own shot ready. "You're free to assume anything that you want," Riley mumbled quietly and then pursed her lips together as Joel lined up his shot. The last thing she needed was to be told she ruined his shot by distracting him or something like that. "I do play often though." She added on after he shot the ball. Watching as one of the striped balls went into the hole. "Nice." Riley murmured and then mimicked what Joel had done by walking around the table a little bit to see the angle that would be best.

Then, she stopped and bent over the table. Her ass in the air as she focused on the white ball she needed to hit against the solid balls. A nice view was also offered to those in front of her if anyone was looking. Then, she shot the ball and stood up straight. Watching as the white ball bounced off a solid and sent it into the hole, then hit another solid and sent it in as well. "Ryker would be so proud of that move." Riley murmured quietly, remembering all of the times she watched the older man play when she was younger.

Joel looked over at Riley quietly. He could tell that she was already turning sour to him. Perhaps she did not find the violence as fun as he would have thought... He knew most of the men did base off of the way they spoke. After all, they were people who threw themselves into this world. A world that involved them to be harsh and to hurt. But, as he thought about it, he supposed that Riley had not chosen this as she was more or less born into this club. He would need to be careful with his words, it seemed.

"Riley is a pretty name," Joel told her, a smile coming over his face. He wasn't quite sure what to do with Riley in order to get another good side but he figured that he had some time to figure it out. Surely this first meeting was not going to be a make or break deal, right? "Do you care to explain then?" Joel asked her with an eyebrow raise. He wondered if Riley even would or if it was just going to be something he had to find out by himself.

As she bent over the table, her ass out and tits showing, Joel glanced off to the side to look at the rest of the group. Although Riley was a very beautiful girl, it didn't really matter. She was just a means to an end. And Joel didn't need to feel like some creep either. So, unless Riley wanted him to drool over her, he wouldn't. But, what did matter was who was interested in Riley enough to keep their eyes on her even when she was with him. Who wanted to keep her safe or who was interested in her enough to watch to get a show.

"That was a good shot." Once Riley came back up, Joel had managed to take a mental note of those who had been looking. Hopefully, none of them were actually in love with her, otherwise, that would cause some problems for his goals. His eyes shifted back to Riley as she murmured about Ryker. He knew who he was, especially since the two that took him out today had mentioned him. Joel felt it was a better idea to not respond to her comment, and instead went to make his move.

"Huh?" Riley mumbled as she glanced up towards Joel. A look of slight confusion written all over her face. "Explain what? How to play pool? Or why I don't like fighting?" She asked, arching an eyebrow as she leaned against an empty table where she had set her drink and hadn't touched. Alcohol wasn't really her thing, she had mostly taken it and took a sip to appease Joel. Plus, Papa H would be pissed if she came home drunk or hears about something stupid she'd do while drunk at the clubhouse.

Waiting for Joel to make his shot, Riley stayed quiet and thought about how to respond to his question. Did she just tell him the short story of everything? Or, did she actually go into detail? Looking away from the pool table as Joel lines his shot up. Riley traced little designs into the fogged up glass. Little smiley faces, squiggly lines, random dots now lined the cold parts of her glass that she didn't really care to take a sip of.

Then, she raised her gaze and looked up towards Joel as she listened to the balls roll around the table. "What's to explain? It's not really fun to watch someone get hurt." Riley shrugged her shoulders boredly as she crossed her arms over her shoulders. "Watching a friend, or someone close to me getting beat isn't really high on my list of likes." A roll of her eyes accompanied her little statement. "What about you? Can you explain why you like to watch fights?" She asked. "Or participate in them?"

"Have you ever seen a biker fight? It's usually more brutal then those WWE fights that they show on TV you know. There's nothing fancy about them."

When Riley started to explain herself, Joel listened closely. Well, it sounded like one of his plans to impress her was out of the window. He had wanted to win and show that he was some 'big, tough gang guy' though it seemed that wasn't going to impress Riley at all. But now he was in a bit of a pickle as to figuring out what plan b of impressing Riley was...Damn, he really had hinged on the fact that she would be some gang fangirl and it seemed that she wasn't what he had been picturing.

"I suppose that is fair," Riley murmured in response, now dropping his voice a bit as he did so. Now it was coming across quieter. "I guess I don't really think about it that way, as someone I am close to getting hurt when it is in a kind of arena like this. It's about proving yourself, showing your worth...I mean you wouldn't want a bunch of pussys helping out here would you?" Joel gave her a little shrug. "I just see it as rooting through the weak to make sure the people around you have your back and can actually protect it."

Riley took his shot, hitting the ball he was aiming for but it missed the cup. At least it was set up for his next turn... Standing up fully, Riley took a few steps away from the table before stretching out a bit. "Now a real-real fight is different. You want those to end fast and with no one on your side getting hurt, if possible." He glanced around the bar for a moment before his eyes dropped back to Riley.

"At least that is what I think about it but i can understand why you don't agree with me." He offered her a light smile.

A small sigh escaped past Riley's lips as she stood up straight. She stood the Q-stick upright and leaned against it as she listened to Joel. Her eyes focused on the table as he spoke. Her head nodding every now and again as she listened. "That's an understandable way to think about it as well." She murmured as she reached out and grabbed onto the drink that she had been given by Joel. Alcohol wasn't usually something she was allowed to drink here, so as long as no one realized she was drinking, she was going to continue to drink it.

"Try calling any of the guy's weak pussies and you'll get your ass beat," Riley mumbled quietly as she lowered her cup. Her bright green eyes raised and looked towards Joel as he stretched. Bright eyes taking in Joel's appearance. He was such a confident kid, and she could easily call him that as he seemed younger than quite a few members of the gang. Maybe a couple of years older than her eighteen years? He seemed physically fit, but his mind seemed a little childish. Surely, the men here will make him just as jaded as them soon. Right?

Looking back down at the pool table, Riley ran her tongue over her lips slowly. She set her drink down on the table and then used her now free hand to run through her hair as she glanced towards the door as movement caught her attention. "I think you group going on another field trip," Riley mumbled as she glanced towards Joel and motioned with her head towards the door where the other prospects were leaving to do whatever task they were given next. "Have fun," Riley mumbled to Joel as she set her pool stick away and grabbed onto her drink once more.

Walking towards the bar, Riley sat down on one of the empty stools at the end with her drink in front of her. Pulling out her phone from her back pocket, Riley started to play some candy crush until she was needed in the kitchen to help make dinner for the guys or something. Slowly, as Riley fiddled with her phone, the alcohol started to hit her and she couldn't help but to rest the side of her head against her right palm. Eyes half-closed as she barely concentrated on her game. A mixture of boredom and tipsy.

A smile moved across Joel's face as she said that his way of looking at it made sense. That was good. At least it seemed that she didn't totally hate his idea. Of course, it would have been better if they were on the same page but... Well Joel could tell that it wasn't going to be as easy to assume what she was thinking than he originally thought. He thought she would be some rough and tough gang girl but that was not the case.

"Oh I certainly wouldn't call anyone by that name here." He reassured her with a chuckle. Joel wasn't exactly trying to get his ass beat by these guys. They were strong and the type of people not to fuck with. "It was just an example, anyways. Like I am sure that everyone here has proven that they could hold their own in the fight... That is why you guys are so strong. But I know you know that so..."

Turning to the table, Joel grabbed his stick and moved around it so find his next shot. But before he was really able to, Riley was mentioning that his group was leaving without him. Joel looked up and saw that was exactly what was happening and he was quick to drop the Q-stick onto the table. "Thanks Riley!" He told her with a grin on his face before hurrying around the table and towards the door to catch up with everyone.

Soon enough, he was back with the group and heading out with them. He still needed to prove that he was good enough to be part of the group. And Joel couldn't help but wonder just how many tests that they had for him.

The men were all boisterous and excited, talking with excitement about the upcoming fight. The first fight for the new recruits, the first of three. Each fight was spaced out so that the recruits wouldn't get tired out too easily. Beer and other hard drinks were passed around to the men who had gathered to witness the show that was to take place in an old barn a couple of miles outside of town. It was owned by one of the road captains that liked to keep to himself and was a farmer by trade.

Sitting on a bench outside of the barn, Riley waited for the first show to start. Although, she wasn't to excited about it, nor did she want to actually be here. It was her job to support her men, her family's tradition. Her adoptive father was even here, and he barely made it to the clubhouse on good days. He usually had her or Ryker keep tabs on things and report back to him while he got his chemo treatment or something like that. The old man was still kicking it, and for that Riley would do whatever he wanted her to do.

A strong breeze blew by and caused Riley to shiver. Her arms crossed over her chest as she hugged her hoodie's front closer to her body. The warm fleece material was nice, but it wasn't the most win resistant thing, "I should have worn something warmer." She mumbled to herself and looked up towards the dark sky. It looked cloudy this morning and now Riley was certain that it was going to rain soon. She could almost smell the oncoming storm.

Closing her eyes, Riley took in a deep breath. She held it and then slowly blew it out through her mouth. Her lips forming a small circle as she did so. Then, Riley opened her eyes once more and stood up slowly from her spot on the bench outside. She dusted off the back of her pants where some chipped white paint hand stuck to her and headed into the barn as the voices got louder. Raising her eyes, Riley watched for a moment as one of the patched members stepped onto the makeshift ring that was in the middle of the barn. Then, one of the three recruits followed him. The fight was about to start soon.

Shifting her gaze, Riley looked around for Ryker and her adoptive father. She usually stood next to them during these things. It made her feel safer, not that the others here didn't make her feel safe. It was just, comforting to be around them.
