Without You |Closed RP|

Sitting in his room, Tommy took and twisted the drum sticks through his fingers, and began banging the drum kit in front of him. Letting the melody escape through the kit, he took and got carried away enjoying himself too much and loving the sound he had coming from the melody he had stuck inside of his head.

Kayla took and hummed to herself as she waited the tables in the small diner she had managed to snag a job at. Pushing some of the blonde locks out of her face she let a sigh escape her lips. Glad they weren't swamped like earlier, she walked to the table of a guy that had walked in. Placing the menu down she held the writing pad in her hand. "Hey there." She said her southern accent escaping, since she had just moved here a few months ago. "What can I get for you?" Kayla asked.

Elyza carries in the last of the empty boxes out to the trash. She could hear the sound of drums, coming from the house next to her. She was curious. She had not met any of her neighbors yet, but had seen a few of them from a distance. She got closer out of curiosity, wanting to know who it was playing. Though she didn’t want to be rude or freak someone out.

Nikki looked up at the waitress at his table. He smirked, noticing she was new. “Hey, give me a jack and coke to get me started,” he said as he glanced at the menu. He looked the girl over and smiled, having a hard time ignoring her beauty. Though he had a million things on his mind like him and the singer of band have been fighting more often, and he didn’t know how much longer he could stand it.

Getting a little carry away, Tommy took and jumped up as he banged hard again. Stopping he glanced at his window seeing a girl staring as he grinned. Walking to the window holding his drum sticks in his hand he smirked, "Hey there." He called out to her.

"Hitting it hard, early are we?" Kaya grinned a little as she took and nodded before walking off. Going to the bar, she fixed the drink and placed the napkin underneath it. Walking back to the table she sat in front of him and looked at him. "Ready to order food, or want me to come back?" She smiled.

Elyza blushed a little, surprised that she had been caught. “Hey, sorry if I’m interrupting,” she said, afraid of how he was going to think of her. This was her neighbor, and here she was being nosy. “I had heard you playing, and it sounds really good,” she complimented, hoping to make amends quickly.

Nikki chuckled. “It’s five o’clock somewhere, right?” he joked. He watched her walk off before coming back with his order. “I’ll just take a burger, but if you want to come back, then I’m down for it.” He couldn’t help flitting a little bit though he didn’t want to be rude.

Tommy looked at her and grinned hanging out his window a little, "Thanks." Tommy smiled at her. "I'm Tommy." He told her smiling. "Wanna come over and listen?" He asked looking at her.

Kaya raised an eyebrow staring at him, "I do have my break coming up." She grinned getting his burger order wrote down. "I'll be back soon." She told him walking off as she glanced back seeing him watching her. Smirking to herself she put a little sway into her hips putting his order in.

Elyza smiled widely. “I’m Elyza,” she replied and nodded. “I would love to.” She was surprised that this long haired guy would happily invite her over. She went over to closer to the window. “Do you want me hop through the window or go through the door?”

Nikki smiled hearing her reply. “Sounds like a plan,” he replied. He couldn’t help watching her hips sway as she walked away. He smirked to himself as his eyes followed her.

Grinning Tommy laid his sticks down on the dresser. Leaning his arms out, "C'mon." He told her offering to help her in through the window.

Once his burger was done and she was on her final break. Kaya took and walked over laying his food down in front of him. Smiling at him she slid into the booth seat in front of him, "There you are." She smiled.

Elyza let out a chuckle. “Alright,” she said as she walked up. She grabbed onto his arms to balance herself as he grabbed her sides. She pushed herself up into the window as he pulled her in. She glanced around at the room seeing all the bands and the drum set. “This is nice,” she said.

Nikki smiled as he watched the food being set in front of him. “Thank you. I’m Nikki, by the way,” he commented. He looked at her and smiled. “So how long have you been working here?” he asked.

Grinning at her, Tommy smiled. "Thank you." Tommy told her as he watched her look at his room. She was gorgeous, something he would totally be into. But he wasn't about to flirt with her to cause a tension or anything. "So anything special you'd like to hear?" Tommy questioned her.

"Few weeks." Kaya replied staring at him. "Nice to meet you, Nikki." She paused a second. "I'm Kaya. I just moved here a few months ago from Tennessee." She told him as she watched him a second. "You're in a band aren't you? Cause you look like you play bass, and you are stressing over something by your actions." Kaya commented.

Elyza smiled. "Whatever you were playing," she replied as she walked over to his bed and sat down. She looked at him and noticed how tall and lanky he was. She could help but feel like she was checking him out, and she kind of was. Though Elyza didn't want to make this awkward. She had always been someone to date a musician or so her friends back home claimed.

Nikki smiled. "Oh, you are good," he commented. "Yeah, I'm the bassist for London. And honestly, I don't know how much longer it's going to be a band." He didn't want to bore her with his problems especially since they first met. He still had another show to do with them soon, and he wasn't going to back out just yet. "So are you new to the city as well?"

Nodding his head Tommy grinned, "Your wish, is my command." He joked as he took and got into the mood. Banging the kit, he began doing the tune he'd been drumming earlier. Seeing her checking him out, he couldn't help himself to check her out more. She was gorgeous. Someone he could see himself with.

Kaya shrugged a little, "I know, I am that good." She grinned as she lent forward on her elbows staring at him. "I've heard of that band. Actually saw you all one night at a bar, my cousin drug me to." Kaya smiled. "Pretty good, but that damn singer and drummer. God they suck monkey balls." She laughed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to blurt that out, but it's the truth." She smiled at him.

"Kind of new, not so much." She shrugged. "My dad lived here, he met my mom. We moved to my mom's home town. Time to time, my dad would bring me here." Kaya smiled at Nikki.

Elyza smiled listening to him play, and she was loving it. She almost wondered if he was putting on a show for her. She could help as she watched him, and she really liked his sound. It wouldn’t be hard to enjoy hearing him play and just being around him.

Nikki let out a laugh. “Yeah, they are some work,” he admitted. He leaned back a little as he took a bite of some fries. “I like the truth. Makes me better myself if need be.” He looked her over trying to think if he had seen her before. He felt like he would remember her if he had.

“So you staying with your family?” he asked. He didn’t want to pry or feel like he was being nosy. He was just genuinely curious about her.

Finishing up with the song, Tommy took and laid his sticks down on his kit. Walking over to Elyza he smiled, "What did you think?" Tommy questioned as he sat down beside of her on his bed staring at her.

Kaya shook her head, "Renting an apartment with my cousin. She just moved out of her parents place, the time I moved here. So we share the bills, the rent." Kaya shrugged and smiled at him. "Truth does help a lot of people." She grinned as she saw the waitress taking over for her as she took her break bring her a water. "Thanks Lila." She thanked the girl taking a sip of her water.

"What about you? Where are you staying? Friends, family?" She questioned curiously.

Smiling, Elyza watched Tommy sit down next to her. “I loved it,” she replied. “How long have you been playing?” She was curious about him and really couldn’t deny that.

Nikki nodded listening to her. “It’s always nice having roommates. At the moment, I’m staying with friends. I was rooming with the singer, but we haven’t been getting along,” he answered. He smiled at her.

Tommy grinned at her, "A while now." Tommy told her smiling. "What about you? What are you really good at?" Tommy questioned her.

"Well, that sucks. But I can see why. He seems like an aggronant ass." Kaya smiled. Hearing her name she took and sighed getting up. "This has been fun." She grinned sliding him a piece of the order paper she used with her number on it as she went about waiting on customers.

Elyza smiled. “I’m more of a painter,” she admitted, a little nervously. She felt like some people don’t like it or find it as interesting as she did. “It’s part of the reason why I moved here.”

Nikki laughed. “Yeah, he kind of is,” he replied. He heard someone call for her, and he sighed a little. “Yeah, it has,” he replied. He grabbed the paper that she had slide towards him. He smiled widely, knowing that he was going to give her a call.

"A painter huh?" Tommy smiled. "That sounds pretty cool. Maybe sometime, you'd show me some of your work?" Tommy smiled at her.

Kaya took and watched the back of Nikki as she waited tables. Filled orders. Did her routine through her shift. A grin formed into her lips. She truly was having fun talking to him. She hoped he called her, because she found an attraction towards him.

Elyza smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I like to think it is. If you would want to, I would love to show it to you," she replied, liking the idea of showing him what she does. It really only felt fair since he played for her.

Nikki finised off his food and left some money on the table, leaving what he hoped was a good tip. He gave her a wink as he headed towards her. "It was nice meeting you, and I hope to get the chance to talk to you again soon," he said, knowing that he couldn't avoid her.

Tommy smiled at her, "Yeah I would like that." Tommy smiled at her. "Why not now?" He grinned at her a little bit.

Kaya smiled at him, "I hope so too." She told him smiling. "Enjoy the rest of your day." She smiled before walking off to get the tables and clean off tables seeing the lunch rush coming in.
