Elyza smiled. “Sounds good. We should have this almost done,” she commented. She went about the bigger boxes, knowing they were mostly just her books and some vhs tapes.

Nikki walked through the door looking around for her. He was excited that she agreed to meet up with him. He knew that he was liking her, but he didn’t want to scare her off.

Tommy helped her and handed her stuff that she needed. He took and heard the doorbell and paid for their food. "Pizza is here." Tommy chimmed.

Smiling at the sight of Nikki she felt the butterflies. Seeing him walk over to her booth and sit down she smiled. "Hey I am glad you called." Kaya smiled.

Elyza smiled. "Alright, well the dining table is cleared," she said. She was glad that they seemed to have gotten a lot done. "You want something to drink? I have some water and I think a couple of cans of coke?"

Nikki smiled. "Honestly, I'm glad you answered," he replied back. He looked at her seeing her out of her work uniform. "You look really good," he commented.

Tommy looked at her, "Coke would be great, thank you." Tommy told her.

Kaya blushed, "Thank you." Kaya told him.

Elyza nodded and grabbed the two cans of coke and brought them over to the table.

Nikki smiled. “I’m just saying the truth,” he commented.

Tommy smiled sitting her plate in front of her. Sitting down he looked at her. "Hey we're doing good about getting your things unpacked." Tommy smiled at her as he lent back into the seat.

Kaya blushed as she cleared her throat, "And you look good, as well." She told him smiling.

Elyza smiled. "Yeah, we are. Thank you; it means a lot that you are helping me," she said with a warm smile. "So since you are a drummer, are you in a band?"

Nikki smiled and replied, "Thanks. Got any goals to do out here in LA?"

Tommy shook his head, "Not really." Tommy looked at her. "I mean I want to be. There's this awesome band, with this wicked, sick bassist. But, hell I can't get close enough to let him hear me play." Tommy sighed.

Kaya shook her head, "Honestly." Kaya shrugged. "I wanted to be an actresses. But that has really failed." Kaya admitted. "Guess, I am going to attend college, to become a nurse." She shrugged. "What about you? Other than being in a band. Or was that your dream?" She questioned.

Elyza looked at him curiously. “What has he told you that he doesn’t want to hear you?” she asked a little surprised. He was a great drummer, and she was surprised that someone didn’t want to at least give him a shot.

Nikki nodded. “You could still go to auditions through college. It won’t hurt anything, and you never know you might get a shot,” he suggested. He was one to give up on anything. “Nah, I want to be in a band. I don’t really have any idea what else I would be,” he said. “Though I might have to find a new band.” The last bit more of a afterthought than anything else.

"Not that, god no." Tommy laughed. "I just...can't get close enough to talk to him or anything. He's always talking to chicks, or I miss him by like a smidge of something." Tommy sighed.

"A new band?" Kaya frowned staring at him. "What happened with the band? Did you walk away or something?" Kaya questioned. "Oh! I know this awesome drummer. He lives beside my grandparents." Kaya smiled at Nikki.

Elyza looked at him curiously. “I’m sure you will find an opportunity,” she said, trying to keep him hopeful. “I mean you are good. And sometimes you just gotta seize the moment.”

Nikki shrugged. “The singer and I don’t get along anymore. We are fighting more than making music, and that’s not why I am in a band,” he admitted. “Really? You do?” He was curious and willing to hear the person to play.

"I hope." Tommy looked at her and smiled. "So do you wanna go out for a walk, get some ice cream? My treat. Then we can come back and finish up." Tommy smiled.

"I do. He lives beside of my grandparents. He's a cool kid. He's into the same music that you play." She grinned. "If you listened to him, you'd love him. He's got some crazy ass skills." Kaya smiled.

Elyza smiled and nodded. “Yeah, that sounds good to me,” she replied with a warm smile. “You can show me the town,” she commented lightly. She was happy that she had been getting along with someone already.

Nikki nodded. “I’m gonna have to hear him,” he said. He was a little surprised that she knew someone like that. But he knew that the world wasn’t really that big either.

"Good. Let's go." Tommy laughed as they headed out. It didn't take long to get where his friend worked. Walking in he spotted with her Nikki. "Ah, shit. That's Nikki." He pointed at them. "And my friend, Kaya." Tommy freaked out a little.

Kaya nodded her head. Turning at the sound of someone freaking out, Kaya saw Tommy and waved at him. "That's Tommy." Kaya smiled back at Nikki.

Elyza looked to where he was pointing. “Why don’t you go say hi to your friend?” she suggested. “It’ll be an excuse to talk to him.” She looked at him. She didn’t want to force him to do something he didn’t want to do, but she didn’t want him to lose the chance to talk to him.

Nikki looked over to who she was waving too. He was a little lanky, but Nikki wasn’t going to judge based off of just that. “Kind of perfect timing,” he joked as he glanced back over at Kaya.

"Alright. Come with." Tommy looked at her and smiled as he took and walked with her to the table. "Hey Kaya." Tommy said shifting a little.

Kaya laughed, "I suppose so." She told Nikki as she smiled at Tommy. "Nikki, this is Tommy. Tommy, this is Nikki. FYI, Tommy is a huge fan." Kaya giggled.

"Thanks Kaya." Tommy blushed a little kind of embarrassed she'd done that.

Elyza walked with Tommy over to the table and smiled at the two people. She gave the two a little wave to the two at the table.

Nikki looked at the guy, holding back a laugh at the mention he was a fan. “Well, Kaya tells me that you are a drummer,” he said.

Tommy nodded his head, "I mess around with drums, nothing major." Tommy shrugged it off like nothing.

Kaya giggled at him playing it cool. "I'm Kaya she looked at the girl." Kaya smiled. "My grandparents live beside of Tommy." She smiled.

Elyza smiled, almost shaking her head at Tommy. She got the sense he was playing it cool, and she wasn't blaming him. "I'm Elyza. I just moved in next door," she said.

Nikki nodded. "I'm going to start a new band," he said. "I'll have to hear you some time." He didn't see why he should beat around the bush about that fact.
