Violet Gianni was one of the lucky ones in the world. In a time when the majority of her kind were looked down on, enslaved, tortured, treated like less than human, she was placed on a pedestal by her family. They made sure to keep her safe, out of the hands of any abusive, less-than-desirable alphas. And for the first sixteen years of her life, they've been successful.
Not only did her family treat her like a treasure, but they were also one of the wealthiest families in her town. Violet was one spoiled omega.
Tiptoeing down the grand staircase in her home, Violet wore a thin yellow sundress, that hugged her torso and flowed loosely around her waist and legs. To spice up the simple dress, she wore gold coin earrings and a diamond necklace her father had gifted her for her sixteenth birthday. Her
blackhair fell around her pale shoulders and her lips were coated in a sparkly gloss. The little omega loved to dress up, even when she had nowhere to go.
"Daddy!" Violet called with a smile, skipping into the kitchen wondering if lunch was finished.
"I think he's outside, Miss." Their home chef informed her, before turning to hand the little lady two glasses of water. "Be a sweet and take these to him by the pool. He's with a landscaper he's hired. While you do that, I'll finish your lunch, okay?"
Violet smiled and nodded, "anything for your cooking! I hope it's my favorite!" Taking the glasses, she hurried out the giant glass doors that led to their back patio. She didn't see her father anywhere, but she did see a man hard at work laying fancy tiling around their pool.
"Did my father disappear?" She called as she walked up to the man, instantly stopping in her tracks when his scent hit her in the face. It was masked by sweat, but it was strong. Like burnt leather. "Here, I'm sure you're thirsty," she forced herself to take a few more steps towards him, holding out one of the waters to him.
