Emery groaned rolling over she hear her phone beep, a loud yawn escaping her. Last night she'd done something she was quite embarrassed by. After texting Hunter for hours she gave him something that left him wanting more. However that wasn't embarrassed her. It was during the fact she'd let herself continue her enjoyment of herself. She was right at the edge when suddenly a man's face popped into her mind and she couldn't help but let herself go. His name slipping off her tongue. It wasn't until she calmed down that she even realized she'd been fantasying about him. And honestly if anyone found out about it she'd be mortified, it was already going to be hard enough to see him today during her lecture.

Sitting up in bed she grabbed her phone, looking at it. She had three missed calls and about 10 missed text messages. All from Hunter. The beeping of her phone however was it was about to die. Plugging it in she opened up her messages. Stifling a laugh at all the messages he'd left her. She knew she'd left him high and dry last night. But it is what it is. Quickly sending him a shocked emoji, she typed up a lame ass apology and told him she passed out. It wasn't entirely a lie. After all once she'd finished she did fret a bit about Masturbating to her Professor, but she calmed down know there wasn't any use crying over split milk.

Getting up she got ready for the day, pulling on her beanie. She decided she was ready for the day. She made a bit more of an effort in her appearance today as she had made plans to meet Hunter for dinner. Though it was still being determined if they were going to meet up or not. She'd already told him she'd missed out on some school and need to catch back up. His promise was he would take up to much of her time. And she knew it was just a matter of time before they weren't speaking anymore. It was one of the reasons she didn't let her friends set her up. They'd always keep the good ones for themselves, and send player her way. Though she wasn't a slut like most people assume. She was in fact very inexperienced at sex. Teasing and fore play was something else.

Mason ended up passing out, sitting at the table again. A thing that was fairly common when he first lost his fiancee' but had slowly been becoming abnormal again. However after the drink he'd poured himself last night, he didn't feel like moving. He went about his normal routine, getting ready for work, and showering. Today however he made sure to sort a coffee out before leaving home, as he had an important faculty meeting.

His head was still a little sore, as he sat in the meeting, listening to the latest drivel that the dean or management wanted the professors to promote. He sat there, not massively impressed, as it wasn't the sort of stuff that Mason was comfortable promoting, such as the pledge drive for donations, not to the college to improve the resources or supplies for students, but for the athletics department, who frankly didn't respect the students that played for them anyway.

He shrugged his shoulders, "yeah I'll mention it," he said quietly, before leaving once the meeting was over. He made his way to his office, and sat down, noticing the assignments from Ms Greyson on his desk, he suddenly remembered that she had called him last night. He sighed, and sat back, aware that his class was due to start soon, and he'd wasted much of the morning in that meeting. He decided, he should probably check to see if she had left a message, in case she had a question she needed answering before the lecture.

He slipped the battery back into his phone, and called his voicemail, to check for messages. He smiled softly hearing there was a message, so obviously Ms Greyson had felt it was an important enough question to leave a message. He thumbed the keypad, to listen to the message. The smile on his face shifted to a quizzical look, as there was nothing on the other end of the line, then he heard it, a soft moaning that slowly grew. He couldn't figure out what the moans meant, had she called him in pain last night, and he'd simply ignored it, mortified that might have been the case, Mason found himself stuck listening to the message.

The concerned look on his face, relaxed finally as he began hearing her moaning his name, loudly, and the rather unmistakable sound of a woman enjoying an organism. The look of concern and worry, fell upon his face again, as he realised what the message meant, and sat for awhile, wondering whether she had even intended to leave him the message, which if he was honest was the better of the situations here. If the message was an accident, she didn't intend for him to know she was fantasying about him, but if she did mean to send it to him, what did she want from him?

Mason spent a long while in thought, before he decided it would be best, to not bring up the message, and pretend he had never heard it. Once he'd decided that, he finally packed up his things and made his way to the lecture hall, as his class was about to start.

Emery was walking towards class when her phone chimed. Looking at the caller id she noticed Hunters name. Smiling softly to herself she picked up with out hesitation. Though she could feel the playfulness from last night return. "Hey you." She chuckled still tickled pink about how she'd left things with him. He wasn't to happy about her little game last night, however he was now insisting she came out to see him tonight. Nodding though she knew he couldn't see her. "I'll think about it." She told him smiling, "but yeah I got go, class." She told him, "mhm bye." She said when he told her to think hard about it. Rolling her eyes she entered Mr. Carter's class, quickly turning the sound off on her phone as it chimed letting her know she'd got a new message. Taking her seat she looked at her phone smiling softly at the message. He was persistent to say the least. Setting it aside she pulled out her laptop, getting ready for class. She did her best to pull her focus. Only focusing on the words the man was speaking. She couldn't let herself get distracted, it was hard enough for her to play catch up. She didn't need to fall further behind. As the time ticked on she felt herself wishing class was done already. She didn't know how much more she'd be able to take. Between Mr. Carter's sexy voice and her phone flashing letting her know she had messages coming in. She was ready for the class to be over.

Mason worked away through the lesson, he kept his eyes off of the spot that Ms Greyson normally sat in, he wasn't sure how he would react if he saw her. He was glad when the class came to an end, and she hadn't raised her hand to ask a question, or forced his attention to be taken her way. It was an odd feeling for him, he felt like his phone was burning a hole in his pocket. As he wrapped up his lesson and dismissed the class, a sudden flash of heat came over him, as he remembered that he hadn't deleted the message.

This troubled in for a couple reasons, first that having it on his phone would be really had to explain if someone found out, and secondly, he would have to listen to the message again, to delete it.

Emery felt a bit off as she was packing up her stuff, the past few times she'd ended up in front of his desk. But now she was exiting his room with out so much as a bye. It made her feel quite sad, but she knew that her crush was just that and could be nothing more. He'd never see her that way, and beside he'd more than likely already had someone. It was why she'd been so considerate when she called him the other day. She hadn't wanted anyone to get the wrong idea. It was strictly professional. And she needed to let it stay that way. Moving to the canteen she bought herself some lunch before settling down with her phone. Looking over the message Hunter sent she sighed before giving in. Accepting his invitation to just dinner. She thought it was best to meet who she was texting, after all she didn't want to get attached to some random person and then find they've totally cat fished her. Packing up her things she figured she'd go and drop her stuff of and get ready for her date.

It didn't take her long to decide to keep what she was wearing on. She fixed her hair and reapplied some make up before heading out the door. The little dive bar near campus was where they decided to met up. It wasn't overly crowded and it served food. She'd found herself a table and waiting, knowing she'd arrived early. And as the servers when around getting drinks she shook her head, letting them know she wasn't drinking tonight. It wasn't long before the chair opposite of her was taken by a tall and handsome man. He quickly introduced himself as Hunter. Honestly she wasn't disappointed.

The night went by quickly, and the later it got the more uncomfortable she got. He'd been sweet and caring at first, talking about their likes and dislikes. Then he started to drink at first it was just a beer, and his got a bit handsy. His hand slipping on to her thigh and she didn't mind until he started to let himself take advantage of it. Stopping his hand she stood, "I should go." She told him. Knowing that this date was over a while ago and now they were shifting into something else. "Stay." He said, grabbing her arm. It wasn't rough or hurt her. But it did make her feel like it wasn't an option. "I've got classes in the morning, I really can't." She told him, pulling her arm away. "I'll text you." She told him, lying through her teeth. But he wasn't happy with that. "I said stay." He made for a grab at her, but she smacked his hand away. Turning she quickly bolted, knowing that it wasn't a smart idea to leave she headed into the bathroom. Closing the door and locking it behind her.

Pacing back and forth she tried to calm herself. But she could hear him on the other side of the door and she didn't know what to do. He wasn't showing any signs of aggression to the door so they'd never throw him out. And she could go for help as he would catch her the moment she came out. Her hands were shaking when she pulled out her phone. The contact in her phone seemed like a joke at a time like this. It wasn't until she stumbled upon Mr. Carter's number that she remember he told her to call him if she ever need anything. The thought of calling him almost scared her as bad as the man outside the door. But she found herself clicking the call button anyways.

Mason was thankful that Ms Greyson hadn't stayed behind to ask about the assignments or anything else. He made his way back to his office. He spent most of the day, mainly just contemplating the ethical dilemma he had found himself in the middle of. His phone sitting on his desk, quietly mocking him. He kept trying to take his mind off of it, by marking some papers, or partaking in some research that he was working on; but nothing could take his mind off of those weak, but sensual moans that were sitting in a message mere inches away.

Mason's odd stupor was broken, as his phone chimed. He looked at the time, he was still sitting at his desk in his office at work. The clock told him it was only a little past 9. Dread filled him, as he saw it was Ms Greyson calling again, but this time, he couldn't just leave the call unanswered, it was after all before ten. He reluctantly clicked the accept button, "Ms Greyson, how are you?" he answered into the phone. He was wondering what she could be calling about.

Emery let out a sigh of relief when he answered. "I sorry to bother you so late." She rushed out, "but I didn't have anyone else to call." She told him feeling her eyes start to water as she felt the realness of the situation. There was a man outside the door who was looking to take her willing or not. And she was not going to let that happen. "I'm in trouble, some guy is harassing me and I can't leave. I've locked myself in the bathroom." She found herself spilling everything out to the man she barely knows in hopes he'll help her. She'd not even thought of the possibility of someone seeing him come get her. Or the anger he'd have with her for disrupting his night. No she expected him to be a decent human being and come to her rescue.

Mason sat listening to her, "It's fine, honestly," he said lightly when she apologised for bothering him. He shifted in his seat, not sure how to handle the call, he heard her say she was in trouble and wanted to help her. He closed his eyes for a moment, thinking about how to help, the issue of maybe being seen saving her, or what could potentially come of coming to her rescue, all rushed though his thoughts. He thought about maybe just calling campus security for her, which was clearly an option, but he still would worry about what might happen.

He finally came to a decision, "okay, calm down, I'll come give you a ride home, what bar are you at?" he asked calmly. Once she'd told him where he could find her, Mason packed away his things he needed to take home from the office, and made his way to the bar. On the drive over, it finally registered that she said she'd been on a date, and that she might be dressed a little inappropriately, the thought hadn't even registered to him before that. He sighed hoping it wouldn't be too bad, or inviting.

Mason pulled up outside the bar, he hadn't been to this one before, but he did recognise it as a student bar. The music was bad, the room dirty, but the booze was cheap as hell. He made his way inside, and spotted a guy leaning up against the wall by the toilets. He immediately figured that must be Ms Greyson's date that wouldn't let her leave. He moved over to a bouncer and pointed him out, "That seems a little creepy, standing outside the woman's toilets at a bar, perhaps you could convince him to wait for his friend at a table? it would seem much less weird and creepy," he said fairly. He was pleased that the bouncer decided to take note of his observation.

Hearing a commotion outside the door, Emery moved closer trying to listen the best she could. It started out as some man's voice she didn't recognize speak. Then Hunter's his voice was a bit louder, like he was ready to fight. They exchanged more words before she jump at a loud bang on the wall. It made the mirror shake, and she was afraid it'd have fallen on her if they kept it up. After a few minutes however the sounds seemed die down and it was clear that whatever happen had now been moved outside. Moving to the door she nibbled on her lip before slipping it open. A sigh of relief left her, her life was a walking disaster right now.

As she left the confinement of the bathroom she made her way back on to the floor only to pause briefly seeing Mr. Carter. He was defiantly out of place, though his appearance seemed a bit disheveled. And she wasn't going to lie he was sexy as hell. But she didn't know what to do go up to him, it was weird. But she decided the hell with it, she could only be told to leave him alone after all. Though she didn't think he was about to do that, when he'd come all this way for her.

Mason watched silently as the bouncer, ejected the man. He watched as Ms Greyson slowly made her way out of the bathroom. He smiled weakly at her, and as she approached he offered her the chair next to him at the bar. "The bouncer took him out, with a little nudge from me," he informed her as he noticed her look around the bar a little. He straightened his shirt, realising that he must look a mess after rushing here so quickly.

Mason's eyes looked her over, he was glad she wasn't wearing the type of dress young female students usually wore on dates. In fact she was dressed in a similar fashion his fiancee' used to prefer. He smiled gently, "so how are you feeling? want to head home?" he asked her softly after all it was what he had offered to do for her.

Taking the seat she sat down feeling the relief flood her. Her adrenaline wearing off, and she could feel the day just hitting her like a ton of bricks. "Thank you." She told him, knowing that he didn't have to do any of this. But he'd told her he'd help and he did. However she was trying not to read to much into it. But she knew that it wasn't going to happen, he just added savoir to the list. And her crush wasn't about to fade any time. Sighing slightly she nodded at his question. "God yes." She told him, knowing that it sounded rather desperate. But it was after all her home they were referring to not his. However she still didn't know how to answer his question about how she was feeling. She couldn't say relieved, as Hunter could still be outside the bar now. But she doubt it, if the cops were to get called he'd go to jail. So she could only hope that leaving would be easy.

Mason nodded softly, "don't mention it, I told I'd be there for you if you needed something," he said lightly. He moved to stand up, and offered her his arm, "come on let's get you home," he said lightly. He figured if she took his arm, it would prevent him from putting his arm around her back, and potentially being tempted to slide it lower, and grope her. He didn't want to take advantage of this situation, or allow her to read too much into it.

He walked with her out of the bar, and towards his car. He opened the passenger side for her, before he walked around and climbed in to drive. He sat back, "the only problem is, I don't know where your place is," he said softly. He was finding it hard not to think about the message that was still save on his phone, and that the woman who left it was not sitting in his car.

Nibbling on her lip Emery slipped her hand onto his arm, her fingers gently encasing the muscle. She stood and let him lead her from the room. It felt so formal, though they were anywhere but a formal place. Once they were outside her eyes darted our, searching for any sign of Hunter. However it wasn't until Mr. Carter opened the door for her did she calm down. Nestling down into the comfort of the seat. Her eyes closed as she pulled in a lung full the smell, his smell. It was the first time she'd ever been close enough to him to actually smell his cologne. When his door opened she turned her eyes to him. Knowing that this shouldn't be happening but she was glad it was. "I live in the dorms on Elway Street." She told him. They weren't really dorms, it was low rent for college student but they were high class apartments. Her and her friends split rent so it was cheaper than living in the dorms. And the location of them was just outside of campus, so she didn't have to far to walk to make it to class.

Mason smiled softly and nodded, "I am familiar with those apartments," he said lightly. It seemed like years ago at this point, but it had also been where Mason lived when he was studying. He carefully pulled his car into the street heading in that direction. The other thing that surprised him about that, was that his apartment was only a couple blocks away from there. He kept his attention on the road as he drove, "So aside from your date turning into a weird overly attached dude, did you enjoy your night?" he asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Mason found that he wanted to know more about her, and learn what she enjoyed. It might have been because she reminded him so much about his fiancee', the main difference being, she seemed to be winning her fight, and to Mason seeing her end up happy, would be like looking into a picture of what could have been, in some sort of way.

Emery shook her head, when he questioned her enjoying her night. "Not in the slightest." She told him, knowing that she'd been right about her feelings all along. She'd should have blocked Hunters number when he started asking for nudes, instead she lead him on. But what happened to the long game of cat and mouse. Why didn't guy want to put in the effort it took to win a girl over. It was one of the main reasons she wasn't a sugar baby. Calling someone daddy didn't settle right with her, but sleeping with someone for money. "Should have stayed home and studied." She told him, it wasn't like she could do much of anything else really. All her friends were busy with their boyfriends or dealing jobs. She wanted to question him about what he meant earlier when he said he was familiar with the apartment she live at. But she felt like that might be stepping a line, as his girl friend or ex or something like that could live there. And she didn't want to pry.

Mason frowned lightly, "well that is too bad," he said lightly. He slowed his car for a moment, thinking softly. He decided to take a risk, "Ms Greyson, do you trust me?" he asked her gently. He thought about his fiancee' and one of the things that always made her feel better, even right up until the end, and he wanted to share it with her. He wanted to make sure she wouldn't freak out about it though, before hand. He continued to drive towards her apartment, and pulled up outside, as he patiently waited to hear her response to his question.

Emery frowned hearing his questioned, what the hell was that about? She knew he was a good guy as far as a moral compass went. But she wasn't sure why his question threw he for a loop. "Of course I do." She told him, knowing it was one of the reason why she called him. It didn't hurt that her crush played into it as well. "Why do you ask?" She questioned him, looking at him they were now at her place and she made no move to leave the car. She was curious to see what he was going on about.

Mason smiled softly at her, "I was just curious," he began. He didn't know how to ask her, what he wanted to ask her. It was such a strange thing, and even he realised it. Just because his Fiancee found something comforting and enjoyable, did not mean, that Ms Greyson would feel the same way.

He sat quietly for a little bit, "Feel free to say no, and just head inside, it won't bother me at all," he said lightly. He smiled gently at her, "but I wanted to see if I could make your night, well, better, a pleasant one," he said softly. He knew what the statement could sound like, but it had no sexual undertones at all in reality.

She looked at him her eyes going wide when he offered to make her night better. Her mind going straight to sex, that he expected a favor in return of a favor. Though the way he spoke it made her feel like he wasn't trying to seduce her, but comfort her. "I think I'd like that." She told him, knowing that whatever it was he wanted to do. She wouldn't have any problem with it. After all it wasn't every day you get the opportunity to spend alone time with your Professor. And she knew she should just go in side and pout for the rest of the night. But curiosity killed the cat after all.

Mason nodded lightly, and smiled, "okay, if you want to come home at any point, tell me okay," he said lightly. He patted her hand lightly, "one more question before we take a little journey," he said softly as he started his car up again, "Pizza or burgers?" he asked non-nonchalantly.

Mason was nervous to go where he was thinking of, as it was him and his fiancee's place, and he hadn't been back since she died. However Mason figured, it was time, and besides Ms Greyson did, although she hadn't said it, seem like she needed some company tonight. Mason pushed all of the ethical issues of them being professor and student to the back of his head for a moment, and just wanted to comfort someone, who seemed like they could use it. He slowly pulled into the drive through of a fast food place that offered the answer she'd given him.
