Clover hardly remembered the day that she had been kidnapped as a young pup - she had been at the park with her mother. That was all she remembered and she did her best not to think about it because if she thought too much about it, it broke her heart. Missing her parents, wondering where they were and what they were doing now, it made Clover act out. She had no way of knowing what her family was doing and she wasn't about to ask because the last time she had asked about them, she had nearly been killed. That was the last time she had asked, the last time that she had ever dared to vocalize any of her thoughts about her family.

When she had been bought by the current company that owned her, Clover had had it explained to her quite clearly. The first complaint they received from an alpha or beta was the last complaint they would ever receive. She had taken that to heart. Clover didn't want to upset her owners and find herself back in the place that she had been in before. The company that she had first been sold to had been cruel and didn't care whatsoever about her well being. As an omega, she was a lesser being than alphas and betas. She meant nothing to them, beyond the money she was forced to make them every night.

At least here, Clover received her own room and she could pretend her life was a little bit more normal. It was small, her dresser in the corner at the foot of her bed but at least it was her own room. She loved the canopy that she had been allowed. Once she finished working each night, Clover had a routine. She would change her bedding and she would shower before retiring to the bed to rest, the curtains pulled down to completely encircle her bed. Until the next day when she was woken and given her meal for the day - something hot, with a snack or two to get her through the rest of the day until her first client arrived.

Clover was waiting anxiously, standing by the small window in her room. It wasn't enough that she could climb out, it hardly opened enough to let in a breeze but still, Clover's favourite part of her room was the window because it reminded her that there was a different world outside of her own.

"You have a client arriving at nine thirty, do be ready. He prefers that you dress natural, young."

The instruction had been nothing out of the ordinary for Clover, relieved that she didn't need to put makeup on. She pulled on a pleated skirt and a plain, long sleeved shirt that she tucked into the waistband of her skirt. At the last minute, Clover decided to pull her hair back into a ponytail. Most alphas tended to like if her hair was pulled back, it was a sort of leash they could use to control her. As if she wouldn't do exactly as she was told by them.

When there was a short knock on her door, Clover turned quickly and tiptoed toward the door. Her head lowered slowly, her head tilted to the side. She relaxed her arms, her eyes lowering to the ground. The alpha's scent filled the room and she was surprised by the way warmth ran through her. She wrote it off quickly, deciding it was because he was quite clearly a strong, capable alpha. He was what her instincts craved.

It had been so long since she had been with her family that she didn't recognize Marshall even as she lifted her gaze up to meet his. She batted her eyelashes, her lips parting as she took a timid step forward. This may have been her room but Marshall held all the control here. "Alpha," she purred, teasingly biting at her bottom lip. "You look so strong," she complimented in a low voice, knowing all too well that alphas liked when their egos were inflated. Even if it was unlikely that she would ever see him again, she knew what part she was supposed to play.

Marshall had been looking for his pup for years. Her kidnapping had sent him into a downward spiral and had put such a strain on their marriage. Marshall had been divorced for four years by now, but it still wasn't something he liked to think about. But even with the divorce, he still looked for his daughter. The case had been closed for quite sometime, but Marshall hadn't given up hope.

He had finally tracked some leads to a sex trafficking business a few cities over that did a surprisingly good job at operating under the radar. The men he met upon arriving were more than a little shocked, nervous when they saw Marshall's badge. "I'm looking for a young girl. She'd be about seventeen. Clover. I'm told this is where I can find her." His hand was instantly at his side, pushing his jacket out of the way. He didn't want any trouble, but he knew if his daughter was inside, he'd be walking out with her. That was that. "What's the price."

Even in every day society, omegas were the second class citizen. It would be too much of a headache to even attempt to shut this business down. No one would care. When Clover had been born, Marshall had instantly fallen in love, having a new pup to protect. But he worried for her safety every single day of his life. When she was taken from them, he wasn't surprised.

After hearing the price, he moved his hand away from his gun, "not just for one night. For taking her with me." The men looked between themselves, but looking back at Marshall. The price shot higher, way higher, but Marshall was willing to pay anything. Gritting his teeth, he just nodded and one of the men motioned him to follow. Minutes later, he was outside her room.

Marshall's eyes widened when the door swung open, revealing Clover. She had grown so much, into a beautiful woman. His stomach twisted with how she spoke to him, he could hear her soft purr and the way her scent gently hung around the air... He bit down on his bottom lip and pushed into the room, kicking the door shut with his heel. He wondered if she'd speak to him in the same tone if she knew he was her father. Marshall was disgusted, more with himself for not being able to protect her. How many disgusting men must've touched her ... and from such a small age. His jaw clenched and he forced himself to hold back the tears.

But be couldn't stop himself from throwing his arms around her and pulling her into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry it took me so long to find you..." He whispered, pressing his lips to the top of her head.

Clover's demeanour faltered slightly when Marshall apologized for taking so long to find her. Of all the things she had gotten used to hearing, that certainly wasn't it. There was only a moment before she recovered from her confusion, her hands sliding to the waist of Marshall's jeans. Already, her fingers worked at undoing his belt, stepping back toward the bed behind them. "It's okay, alpha. I've been waiting so long," she teased as she lowered herself on the bed, her thighs spreading as she looked up to him. "We need to make up for lost time, hm?" She giggled as her fingers dancing across her thighs, inching her skirt up her thighs. There was no use in Clover trying to be shy or act innocent. Marshall was an alpha who had come to see her and she needed to please him in the only way that she knew how.

Never assuming just how an alpha would want her, Clover let out a soft moan as she arched into her own touch. She wanted him, needed him. That was the little story she was supposed to sell, needing Marshall to believe every word she spoke even if they both knew that wasn't reality. "Can I present for you, alpha? Please, wanna show you how much I need you. Been waiting so long to make you feel good."

Batting her eyelashes, Clover reached out to touch him. Her fingers hovered above his arms, not wanting to push too much and appear to try and take control of the situation. That surely was something that would cause a complaint. "May I?" Her voice dipped as she leaned forward, eager to make him happy. It wasn't what she wanted, no, but she knew that making him happy would be easier on her than the opposite. "I can help you."

Marshall frowned when she pulled out of his arms. His hands reached out, trying to grab back onto her. She wasn't listening to him. "C-Clover," Marshall
gasped, watching her sink to the bed, her legs spreading and her hand sliding between her thighs. Knowing it was his pup didn't do much to stop Marshall's cock from twitching. It was still an omega in front of him. The way she asked to present for him, he watched to reach out and take her right there... But... He couldn't. Clover was his pup and he was here to rescue her from this situation.

Her hands ran along his arms and a shiver ran down his spine. His poor omega, forced to serve a different alpha every night. She had a family, she had him as an alpha and still, he couldn't keep her safe. Did he even deserve to have her now? "Omega, no, listen to me," he breathed, reaching out to grab her by the arms. He pulled her back up, against his chest, forcing her head near his neck. "Do you not recognize my scent at all?"

Being so close to her now, Marshall could cry. It had been so long he had almost completely forgotten her scent. But now, with her in his arms and her scent everywhere, it was obvious. She was his pup, and scent aside, he could look into her eyes and he just knew. Her skin was so soft and her touch on his skin was sending goosebumps all over his body. "I..." Marshall frowned, scrunching his face up as he thought. Clover had been so young, would she remember his scent? Still, seeing her here now, in front of him, grown into the woman she'd become, ready to welcome him into her arms... His cock was throbbing. "Do you remember me? I'm your dad, Clover, I'm getting you out of here."

Clover's eyes flashed when Marshall uttered his name. It felt odd for a client to use her actual name instead of her title but she pushed the thought away, trying to focus her attention on the alpha who stood in front of him. When the word no passed through Marshall's lips, Clover froze. Her brows pulled together as she was pulled into his chest. When her nose pressed against his neck, her entire demeanour changed. Her knees started to wobble, fear spiking through her. No, there was no way her father was standing in front of her. Her bottom lip quivered and she tried like hell to calm herself down but then he was talking about how he was her dad and how he was going to get her out of this.

Letting out a sob, Clover's knees buckled beneath her as her grip tightened around his waist. "Daddy," she choked on the word, her fingers wrapping into his jacket as she clung to him. It was the first time in a very long, long time before Clover had felt truly safe again. Even wrapped up in Marshall's arms, there was a nagging sense of what if this was just some sort of cruel joke? What if it was a test that she was already failing? The thought hung heavy in the back of her mind as she peeled herself away from Marshall enough that she could look up to him. Her eyes met his for only a moment before her head dropped. She wasn't supposed to look alphas in the eye.

"H-How? I.. I mean.." Clover whined as she glanced around. Girls simply didn't leave places like this. They didn't get to walk out like they were free. She had been around long enough to know that.

"I c-can't.. j-just... go," Clover reached up her shaking hand to wipe at her wet cheeks, her other arm still clinging to him like Marshall was her lifeline. "I-It.. doesn't.. w-work.. that way. Not here," she added, thoroughly convinced that there was no way that Marshall would be able to get her out of here.

Marshall brought his hands up to cup her face, his thumbs brushing her tears away. "Shh," he quieted her, leaning his forehead against hers. He scented the air, hoping his musk would help to calm her down. Marshall had always assumed that if he found Clover, he'd have to buy her back. So in all the years he had been looking for her, he had been putting every last dime he could into the bank. After the divorce, he was kicked out of the house and had found a shitty little one bedroom that barely cost a few hundred a month to rent. Marshall had been living a pretty sad life, all in hopes he'd find her.

"Don't worry about any of it, I've already taken care of everything." He pressed a soft kiss to her head before he dropped his hands from her face and wrapped his arms back around her. It was enough for him to know that no other disgusting alpha would ever lay their fingers on her again. He'd be damned if anything ever happened to her again. He wouldn't fail as her father a second time.

Pulling away from her, he kept his hands lingering on her shoulders as he looked around her little room. He wondered how long she'd been here, he had been trailing her from sex ring to sex ring... This place looked a bit nicer and more comfortable than what he expected. "Is there anything...from here you want to bring with you? You can take a few minutes to gather your things while I tie up the loose ends, okay?"

Marshall didn't want to leave her, but he had to go finish the transaction before they'd let him walk out with her. Just a little bit more time and she'd be right back where she'd belong. With him. Giving her another soft kiss on her forehead, he completely stepped away from her, back to the door. "I'll be right back, I promise," he assured her, before disappearing back out into the hall.

Clover let out a small whine as Marshall's hands dropped from her face. She wanted no part in Marshall being any further than he already was from her. She breathed a small sigh of relief when Marshall's arms wrapped around her waist. She nuzzled against him, breathing in a deep breath. His scent filled her senses as her shoulders relaxed, content to stand here and cuddle against Marshall for as long as he would allow.

At the offer of some of her belongings, Clover shook her head rapidly. She had no clue how the company would react to her trying to take their items and she wasn't about to test it and find out. But the part that broke her was the mention of him having to leave. Clover's scent soured almost immediately as she feared the worst. It had been some sort of awful test and she had failed it.

Clover stumbled backward, toward her bed where she collapsed. Her body shook as she curled into a ball, her nose nuzzled into the shoulder of her shirt. Clover had messed up, she knew she had. She was going to be in so much trouble and she was going to be lucky if she even managed to survive the night. Hanging her head as she began to collapse against the bed. She was convinced that it must be what was about to happen.

When the door opened again, Clover completely stilled. Her head hung low and she slid off the edge of the bed, moving to her knees. Apologies were on the tip of her tongue but omegas weren't meant to speak without being prompted. A punishment she was sure was coming, she didn't want to make it any worse than she already had.

Marshall hadn't wanted to leave his omega, especially so soon after finding her. But he'd rather work quickly, to get her out of from under these alphas as soon as possible. He would've loved to have just stayed there with her, wrapped up in the sheets of her bed with her pressed against his chest. But he'd rather be taking her home. His heart seemed to clench in his chest when her scent hit his nose, soured by fear, but he couldn't stay to console her. He knew she was safe for the time being.

Walking through the hall, Marshall looked at each door he passed. Different scents were wafting all around him, some sweeter and more enticing than others and for a second, he felt guilty. He was a member of law enforcement, he was supposed to help those who couldn't help themselves. But instead, he was turning his back on this whole operation, knowing it'd be more of a headache to try and rescue more than Clover.

He met with the man in charge, and after a few minutes of speaking, negotiating back and forth, Marshall was able to cut the price in half. Threatening to bring down his whole business after flashing his badge was enough to work in his favor. "Go get your omega and get out," the boss grumbled, clearly annoyed that a policeman was in his compound.

Marshall sighed in relief, dropping his shoulders as he moved to return to Clover. He kept his head down as he headed back through the hall of rooms, listening to the voices he heard coming from within a few of them. It was early in the morning and all of these omegas were already hard at work. It twisted his stomach because an alpha was supposed to protect, and none of these omegas actually had an alpha. It was sad.

Opening the door to Clover's room, he looked around until his eyes fell back on her. She was already down on her knees, a twisted look of worry and fear on her face. Her scent was still so bitter. Years and years of this mistreatment and abuse had really worked her over. "Oh sweetie," Marshall pulled his pants up a little, so he could squat down in front of her. "You're safe now, honey, were going home. Come on," he reached out to bring her back against his chest, pulling them both up to their feet.

"We're leaving..." He muttered, pressing a kiss against her forehead as he walked her out into the hall.

Clover had been so convinced that Marshall was never going to return and that her captors were about to step through the door. She knew how this was going to go. She was going to suffer and she was going to take it in stride because trying to stop her punishment never went well. Her mind was racing as the door opened and she held her breath, trying to contain herself. Tears threatened to fall but she had managed to calm herself down for the most part.

When she realized it was Marshall, Clover sagged against the floor. She looked up to him, her eyes on his for only a moment before she dropped her gaze back to the floor between them. "I didn't think you were coming back," Clover's voice was barely a whisper as she was pulled into his chest. She was already beating herself up for the admission because she was half expecting Marshall to react to it.

Leaning against Marshall's side, Clover made sure to keep her head lowered as they walked through the halls. She heard the noises from each room that they passed, the scents turning her stomach because she knew what the omegas were going through and there was nothing that she could do to stop that. No matter how much she may have wanted to, she was just an omega. She would never be able to stop an alpha, she had learned that the hard way. It wasn't her place to speak up.

It wasn't until they reached Marshall's truck and she had pulled herself up into the passenger seat that she allowed herself to glance toward Marshall. "D-Do.. can I.. have a sweater?" She asked, curling up with her legs pulled to her chest. "If you have one. I-If not.. that's okay, too," she added, not wanting to seem like she was asking for too much.

Marshall kept his arm around her shoulders, hiding her against his side as they made their way out of the compound. He wished he could keep her from hearing the guttural sounds coming from the alphas, and the battered moans from the omegas, and the scents... But he couldn't. And in the back of his mind, he knew it wouldn't make a difference. She had experienced it all first hand.

Once she was settled in the passenger seat of his truck, next to him, he finally felt like he could breathe. Running his hands down his face, he relaxed against the seat, before he raised an eyebrow and looked in Clover's direction. The second her request left her lips, Marshall was sitting up straight and pulling his jacket off. Anything for his omega. "Here, sweetie," he whispered, gently laying it across her shoulders and pulling it closed at her chest. His hand lifted to her cheek and he caressed her face again, unable to stop himself from placing another kiss on her temple. "Let's get you home, get you in a warm bath and get some food in ya. How's that sound?"

Sighing, he started the truck and drove away, glancing in the rearview mirror back at the hell they were leaving behind. It was hard for him to focus on the road, repeatedly glancing back at Clover. He didn't want her to feel guilty, he could almost tell she wanted to help the others. Why wouldn't she? How could he explain to her why they couldn't?

The drive was long and quiet, but once they were parked outside of his complex, he forced himself to put on a big smile for her. "I..." The smile faded a little as he glanced down, "I'll.... have to call your mom. We... We're not together anymore," he felt horrible, just giving her more and more bad news. "She won't be able to wait to see ya..." Marshall pushed his door open and slid out of his seat, hurrying around to help Clover out. "But that can wait until after we get you situated inside..." He wrapped his arms around her waist, careful to not come off too aggressive with her.

Clover's face lit up when Marshall offered her his jacket. She couldn't help but smile as she slid her arms into the sleeves before pressing her face into the collar. She leaned against his hand, nodding at his instruction. The promise of not having to service another alpha in her bed, of being safe from the hell that she had been put through.. Clover could have cried from the relief she felt if it hadn't been for the intense fatigue that had washed over her. Clover hadn't truly been able to relax in so long, always on edge and afraid of what was to come in the following days, that it seemed like it was catching up with her the moment that she was truly safe again. CLinging to the jacket that had been wrapped around her, it wasn't long into the drive that she had managed to fall asleep.

Starting to come to when the truck came to a stop outside of Marshall's complex, Clover reached up to rub the sleep from her eyes. The few hours that she had managed to sleep had felt like nothing more than a few minutes at most. But what Marshall had to tell her broke her heart. Clover wanted to ask so many questions but she couldn't seem to focus on any single one and so all she did was nod her head. It was clearly something that still bothered him, Clover didn't want to make it worse. Not when Marshall had just saved her from a hellish life.

Clover leaned her head against her dad's shoulder as they headed up to his apartment. She was all too ready to go right back to sleep but the promise of a warm shower and some food was all too welcoming to her. And she was sure that the moment Marshall called her mother, they would have a visitor. Clover cleared her throat as she stepped inside, her feet carrying her toward the kitchen. As much as she was sure Marshall would care for her, her instincts wouldn't allow her to just sit back while Marshall cooked something for them to eat.

"I can put something together," Clover offered in a low voice, chewing on the inside of her lip. "What did you want?" She asked, looking up to him after a moment of gathering her courage.

Marshall shut the door behind them, a bit embarrassed by what he was bringing her home to. When he had still been with her mother, from the day she was born they had a beautiful two story house, white picket fence and all. They had made sure to pick out a dream home to raise their pup in, so they'd always feel stable and would have room. After their divorce, they had sold the house and Lauren had taken most of the money. What Marshall received had been put right into savings, having been part of what he used to pay for her freedom.

His apartment was small, only one bedroom and one bath and it was dark. A little messy too. He'd figure out how to give her privacy, but that could wait until later. Moving towards the living room, Marshall started gathering up some of the mess, as he watched her head towards the kitchen.

"Don't worry about it," Marshall insisted, grabbing up a few water bottles and dishes before following her into the kitchen. "I got this covered," he slid the dishes into the sink and turned towards his omega, before pulling her into his arms. He was so relieved to have her home and part of him hoped this could fix everything. Could he have his family back? Part of him knew the answer. Lauren absolutely hated his guts, but he could hope... "Let's get you into a shower." Guiding her out of the kitchen, he led her back down the hall towards the bathroom.

"Go on inside, I'll get you some clothes you can wear and while you shower, I'll whip something up to eat." He gave her a gentle smile, opening the bathroom door for her before he ushered her in. "Just relax, okay? Don't worry about a thing." Marshall could feel his hands shaking, beginning to feel worried over the call he would be making soon. Turning back down the hall, he grabbed her a towel from the hall closet and went into his room to find her something she could sleep in. A pair of boxers and an old t-shirt, hopefully that would be alright.

When he returned to the bathroom door, he could hear the water going inside. "Clover?" He knocked before trying the doorknob, "I'm coming in, okay?"
