Sawyer watched as she tucked her head, he wasn't sure if it was a sign of embarrassment or if she was displaying natural signs of submission. But when her beautiful blues met his, he felt his cold run cold. And he had to calm himself, as it wasn't a sign of disobedience. Reminding himself they were working he moved his eyes to her portfolio. "Anything that you presented in your portfolio." He told her. "If it's sold we need to know for how much, and if you gave it away we black list it from being sold unless it's through us." He told her, his eyes watching her as she moved. Sweeping along her body. "We after all are investing in what lies in your portfolio, so if there is art you'd not added and would like us to help you sell it will need to be appraised and authenticated. But if we are only investing in the work in the book and it's not available for selling then we run into an issue with ownership." He told her. "Of course you're art is your own creation, but once someone buys it, it becomes theirs. So if I try to sell someones art then there's a problem." He told her, "however our legal team will go over everything with you." He told her. Though his brow shot up when she mentioned a new painting. "I though you said you weren't ready to move on?" He chuckled lightly his mind going over what she could possible have started to create, and what would have drove her to starting it.
Peyton nodded as he expressed that nothing was off limits, if he didn't want to talk about it he wouldn't. It was a fair enough, though she was feeling a bit more at ease. When her plate was placed in front of her she smiled at the woman, before turning her attention to him. Noticing his stare, it did something to her body and she wasn't quite sure if she liked it or not. She knew that they would be having sex eventually. And that she couldn't hold him off till after the trail phase of the contract. Smiling softly she took one last sip of her wine before placing it down, her eyes shifting to the food. She loved fish, however some places couldn't cook it to her liking. Grabbing her fork and knife she cut into the fish before taking a bite. "I like certain sports as activities, but I'm not much of a watcher." She told him, before her head picked up at his next question. "I love the outdoors," she smiled brightly. "I can't say I enjoy hiking, but if it serves as a purpose I'm all for it. Camping is okay, but I prefer rock climbing." She told him. Her parents were surprised when she decided to get a college degree in finance instead of traveling around the world and enjoying jobs with in nature. She didn't understand her passion for numbers, but it bled over into her career choice. It also didn't help that she wasn't good at photography. And when she started this journey youtube and the internet wasn't booming like it was now. So she was happy with her choice until she found herself in this situation. "What about you?" She asked curious if his question held a certain meaning behind it.
