Dinah couldn't remember much of her nightmare, but she counted herself lucky. Her heart was pounding fast inside of her ribcage, her pulse racing as she tried to catch her breathing. She had shot up in her bed do fast, a thin layer of sweat perspiring across her face. All she could remember were those eyes. Red hot, like fire. She still felt like she was being watched. Pushing the blankets off of her body, Dinah crawled out of bed, tying her silk robe around her waist tightly. The clock on her end table read 3:32 am and it felt like eyes were watching her every move.
Creeping into the hall, she kept the lights off, not wanting to wake anyone as she tiptoed into the kitchen. The house was quiet and Dinah was doing her best to move silently, keeping her gaze lowered to the ground, watching out to make sure she wouldn't accidentally bump into anything. She praised herself when she made it to the sink, her eyes finally adjusting to the darkness. That and she had the the help of the moonlight coming through the kitchen window. Grabbing a glass from the cabinet, Dinah poured herself some water and out of the corner of her eye, saw red flashing lights from across the street. Not fast enough though, the second she looked up, there was nothing.
Except... Her heart dropped to her stomach, fear paralyzing her in place staring at the shadowy figures of two men just standing on her lawn. They were dancing the house, just standing, just watching. Dinah took several minutes before she could force herself to move, bringing her hands up to her eyes, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. When she lowered her hands, opening her eyes once more, the men were gone. Just vanished.
"I'm seeing things..." Dinah whimpered, feeling like she was trapped back in her nightmare again. Glancing out the window around their front yard again, just making sure she didn't see anything weird, Dinah finally relaxed and retreated back to her bedroom.
"This is it?" Levi looked up at the house, dipping his hands in his trouser pockets. The princesses of hell lived in a little one story flat suburban home, with lawn gnome outside? There adoptive parents had such great taste, he couldn't wait to see the inside decor. The red flashing lights that lit up the neighborhood for a brief second was the powerful prince of hell discarding the house next door of it's occupants. The two brothers would need somewhere to stay while they figured out how to sink their claws into the girls.
Noticing movement in one of the windows, Levi cocked his head and stared dead straight at the dark haired girl. There was no question about it anymore. He could smell morningstar blood running through her veins. Lucifer had spawned that child and if she had a sister, the same was true for her. "This is it," Levi confirmed for himself, before a small smirk settled on his face. "C'mon, brother. We have a busy day ahead tomorrow."
The next morning, Dinah woke up, unable to shake the uneasy feeling that remained from the night before. After showering, getting dressed and brushing her teeth, she flung her door open and could hear her sister watching tv. Would Asher believe anything she told her, or would she sound insane to her sister?
"Hey.. how did you sleep last night. O-Okay?" Dinah was still carrying her nightmare around. Every time she blinked, those red scalding eyes were sharing back at her. "Did you happen to see that red flashing light last night? That came from the neighbors? ..It woke me up," Dinah lied, shuffling over to the window in the living room. Picking the curtain back, she stole a look outside, seeing a strange man she'd never noticed before smoking outside of the neighbors. He was tall, with dark brown hair and a thick mustache, but that was all she could see from across the street. New neighbors? In the house where the flashing lights had come from?
"We have new neighbors.. Think we should go say hi?"
The man looked much older than she was, but still, it was polite wasn't it? After her sister agreed, the two pulled their shoes on before heading outside and crossing the road. Before walking up to the house, a second man appeared from inside. Both men were huge, muscular and intimidating. Chiseled features and gleaming eyes, like they were related to the gods. They were the most beautifully handsome men she had ever laid her eyes on. It almost seemed unnatural.
Levi stepped outside after Bee, sensing that the girls were about to make an appearance. He couldn't blame them, they were bound to feel a pull towards their big brothers after all. They shared the same blood, and if Bee or himself were ever going to rule over Hell, they had to have their princess. Otherwise, they'd never be king. That was the rule and so they had left the safety of their fire and brimstone, instructed by their father not to return without their sisters. But the girls had a long way to go before they could enter the gates of hell, a lot they had to learn. They were practically fully human, it was pathetic.
"Look how easy," Levi smirked, almost wanting to rub his hands together maniacally as the girls crossed the street. His golden hazel eyes ran up Asher, his tongue grazing over his bottom lip. She was a bombshell, beautiful emerald eyes, pouty pink lips, flawless skin... It almost felt like a sin that they had been kept apart. She had been raised on Earth by adoptive parents, he had been in hell under the watchful eye of his father. But seeing her now, she had to be his.
"Hello, girls," Levi called, smirking as they came up their driveway. Tilting his head to the side, "We just moved in, but this might sound strange. You girls seem awfully familiar... I'm Levi, this is my brother Bee," he smiled, motioning towards Beelzebub behind him.
