Luke strummed lazily at the strings of his unplugged electric guitar, his feet up on Michael's coffee table, even though Michael had shoved them off twice already. The 5 Seconds of Summer boys had agreed on the track list for their fourth studio album, and there wasn't much else to do now other than wait for their manager to turn up and listen to the final arrangement and agree that everything was in good order and it was ready to be mastered - which meant promotion would be starting soon. Groaning with the thought, Luke started to sink down the arm chair, the bottom of his converse dirtying Michael's coffee table. Luke loved his band more than anything, but he couldn't help but wish sometimes that something new would fall into his life, something - someone for him to put his love into.
Violetta tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear as she hummed happily, looking over the top of her laptop to her bandmates, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips before her eyes lowered to the screen once more, still reading through the comments of their uploaded video, a cover they'd done. The girls were determined for their band to take off, but as easy as it was to dream, it was difficult to get noticed, to get their music head. "Should we make a Twitter?" Violetta spoke up then. "I feel like, to get seen, we need to make social media. What do you think?" Looking to Alyx, Rosabel and Gracie then, Violetta raised her eyebrows in curiosity. "The comments are great so far though, you wanna read?"
Ashton copied the link that Lauren had sent him into his Internet browser with curiosity, and before he pressed enter, he decided that the boys needed to see this. "Oi, you lot!" Ashton called. "Get in here!" And hearing Luke's second groan, Ashton shook his head in amusement, pressing enter anyway, not wanting to wait any longer, his curiosity getting the best of him, as it always seemed to. Lauren had sent the link to the YouTube video, saying that the girl Ashton used to babysit for some extra money as a teenager - Alyx - had started a band and was posting covers to YouTube, something that Ashton used to do with Luke, Michael and Calum before 5 Seconds of Summer were discovered by One Direction. As the video started, and Alyx introduced the band, Ashton couldn't help but smile, his eyes finding the girl with honey coloured hair and a shy smile - and he knew he had to find Alyx again, wanting to help them along. "You're missing it!"
Gracie looked up from her notebook as she heard Violetta's question, looking to Alyx and Rosabel then, shrugging her shoulders lightly. "Well, maybe a Twitter isn't a bad idea, we could definitely reach a better audience." Gracie offered with a grin, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she reached for her beloved bass. "Hey, Alyx, didn't you say a guy you knew got famous by YouTube?" Gracie asked with curiosity, sipping at her Red Bull, deciding to take a moment away from writing lyrics before her brain scrambled within her head.
Harry put YouTube into his search bar as he used his free hand to put the kettle on, Louis sat at the table, correcting some lyrics for Harry, at Harry's own request. "Cuppa coming up, Lou" Harry hummed then, approaching to place his laptop onto the table, before going and grabbing two cups - Harry liked sugar, Louis did not, and Harry somehow always got their cups mixed up when he wasn't concentrating enough. Harry had been living on cloud nine recently, and he couldn't deny it. Of course, he was a solo artist now, but with the release of his second album having come and gone and fans loving each single he put out, Harry was eager to work on some more music, knowing that Louis was doing exactly the same, in the same studios in Los Angeles and London - what were the odds? Sitting Louis' cup down in front of him, Harry nursed his own cup as he browsed through his suggested videos, eyebrows raising as he saw a video from Eliana & Elora, clicking on it from sheer curiosity, the two blonde girls in the vidoe preview enough to push him further. "Oh, look."
Elora sat on the sofa with her feet kicked up into Eliana's lap, scrolling through her hundreds of notes on her phone, each full of random lyrics she had thought of while out and about with Eliana, the both of them contributing to the content of their music. "Alright, so I've already deleted like, fifty notes." Elora sighed, handing her phone to Eliana. The app was so full it had been causing Elora's phone to run slow. "Your turn - delete whatever you find boring."
