Orlando couldn’t wipe the smirk off his face as he met with Reynolds. He had known the man since he was a kid, having been his fathers lawyer before and now his own. Orlando wasn’t sure what he was going to do if he lost the man. Reynolds kept him out of plenty of trouble and not just with the police. He helped out with parts of the business side as well.
“I definitely got me a smart one.” He said as his smirk changed to a gentle smile only for a moment. Orlando nodded as the lawyer talked. He knew to keep his mouth shut and only answer things when he needed to. “You’re welcome to stay for dinner if you’d like, she’s a great chef.” He said and nudged the man back with a laugh. “Well I found it in one of the junk cars brought to me. We were breaking it apart for parts before we were gonna demolish the rest. Found it in the seat.” Orlando said and shrugged. “I was actually on the phone with my buddy who brought the car from his shop because they didn’t have room for it. Was asking him if he knew the owner of the car so I could return the weapon.” Orlando told Reynolds with a grin.
Orlando knew the glass was one way glass and the officers were going to be standing on the other side of it. He looked through the glass as if he could see through it and winked with a wicked grin on his face before his attention turned to Reynolds again. “You can check with Bruce, you can check my phone calls, and the junker car is still on my lot.” He said with a laugh. “Could we work on getting these cuffs off of me, I’m a big guy with big wrists and they’re a little tight.” Orlando said as he turned his wrists uncomfortably in the cuffs.
