Panic had begun to set in as Dean entered the room and Cady couldn't hold back the tears any longer, grimacing as she shifted position.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have called, but... I..." Cady stammered as tears rolled down her cheeks, "The lights were flickering and I was bleeding, but you didn't have to come."

Sam nodded as Dean rushed from the house, wondering what it was that was so important and pushing to the back of his mind as he returned his attention to Jessie.

"Sounds like a good place to start," Sam agreed, "Why don't you and I head out to see what we can find?"

"I am going to get you help and we'll figure out what is going on." Dean told her as he walked over kneeling and preparing to scoop her up.

"That works for me." Jessie said walking out and towards her Jeep. Getting in she saw him join as they took and headed for the last spot her dad had been at before disappearing.

Cady tensed as Dean moved closer, but she was too tired to fight and relaxed as he scooped her up with ease. Despite her reservations, his heat was too enticing and she rested her head on his shoulder as she melted into him.

The drive to the spot Bobby had been seen last was quiet, but Sam didn't feel the need to push for a conversation and simply scanned the scenery passing outside the window. "From what I've seen there's been no real rise in omens, which doesn't really rule anything out... though it would give us a better idea of the strength of demon that we're dealing with. If it is demons that is."

"Let's get you checked." Dean told her softly as he took and carried her out heading for the nearest hospital.

Pulling over to where her dad's car had been found. Looking around she took and sighed, "Dad always said you and I were two peas in a pod." Jessie told him softly looking for any clues to as what'd happened, or who'd took her dad.

Cady hated hospitals, it was where she had been told that her parents had died and where her hunting journey began. The sterile, white room brought back memories she'd tried hard to bury and she sat in silence.

"I was starting to think that you didn't remember me," Sam added as he looked around, noticing a few patches of burnt grasses and pointing them out Jessie, "Looks like this was where the car was, but what are these burn marks from?"

Dean walked in as the nurse left them alone. Smiling at Cady he stared at her, "You alright?" He questioned noticing how quiet she was.

Jessie walked over kneeling down as she saw the grass. Taking a piece of it and smelling it she made a face. "It's chared for sure." She shook her head. "I have no idea. Maybe he burnt something?" She said unsure. "But the trail goes towards the woodlice." Jessie told Sam. "Of course I remember you. Our dads always said we were unique." She laughed. "I remember our marriage in our backyard." She giggled. "Daddy said he was going to beat you, I told him to back off." She smiled. "We were just six I think." She laughed at the memory walking with him to the woodline.

Glancing around using her flashlight she bit her lip. "Something isn't right, Sam." She whispered.

"Fine," Cady replied, hearing her voice crack and rolling her eyes as she continued, "The last time I was in a hospital, a doctor was telling me that my parents didn't make it and being here just brings back memories is all."

Why am I telling you this? Cady thought to herself as she shifted on the bed, wanting nothing more than to get stitched up and get the hell out of there. There were still cases to deal with, demons to kill and staying in one place for too long made her vulnerable.

With a chuckle, Sam followed her and nodded in agreement. "Let's head in a little way," Sam suggested as he moved into the darkness of the woods, switching on his own flashlight and keeping his guard on full alert, "It's too dangerous to go in too far right now, we can do a better search when Dean gets back."

Dean frowned, "I am sorry for your loss." He told her as he took and stood there. "When you get stitched up. I want you to come with me. Whatever happened to you, wasn't normal. I want to protect you, Cady." Dean told her.

Jessie shook her head, "I can't. Sam I get it's dangerous. This is my dad. He's all I have left since mom died." Jessie frowned. "I'll be fine." She told him as she took and headed further into the wooded area hoping to come across something that would help her to find her dad.

"I don't need anyone else getting hurt because of me," Cady argued, "My parents died protecting me and I'm not going to risk you doing the same... thank you though, for everything."

She hadn't known him long, but for some reason, she felt a connection with him and she wasn't entirely sure what it meant.

After so many years, Sam had forgotten how stubborn Jessie was and immediately followed her. The last thing they needed was for her to go missing too, so he sent Dean the coordinates of their location and continued the search.

"Look sweetheart. I hunt things, things that probably harmed your parents. And you at the motel. I am not letting you out of my sight. That's final." Dean said crossing his arms looking at her. "I hunt creatures that aren't known to the human world, but their here." Dean sighed knowing she knew what he meant he could see it in her that she was a hunter too.

Jessie stopped hearing talking as she felt Sam on top of her. Forgetting how much she'd been attracted to him. She bit her lip looking at him a second. "I hear talk--" She stopped hearing her dad cussing. "That's my dad." Jessie told him as she darted for the voices not caring at this point she just wanted him to be ok.

"You're a hunter..." Cady stated as more of a statement than a question.

She had had an idea that he was a hunter, or at least a hunter of deer or bear, but either way it changed things slightly. There was a reluctance to trust him, but she needed someone in her life to rely on in times of trouble and it may as well be someone that has seen what evil can really do.

"Jessie..." Sam whisper shouted, not wanting her to run in on something and get hurt.

It had been a long time since he'd seen her, but those eyes hadn't changed one bit and he found himself drawn to them still in a way that he hadn't with anyone else. Her eyes told of heartache and anger, but also held a softness that he found attractive.

"Born into it, might as well say." Dean told her. "I am guessing you got into it when your parents were..." He stopped himself sitting down beside of her.

Jessie turned looking at Sam. Her eyes softened at the thought of demons or some supernatural creatures doing something to her father. "It's my dad." Jessie whispered to him.

Running onward she stopped at a clearing and took cover behind a tree trunk. Biting her lip she took and saw her dad tied to a chair in the middle of everything. Feeling Sam on top of her she looked up at him, "That's not demons." Jessie whispered.

"Life was so simple before they were killed, I would go to college, spend time with my family, and then they died," Cady mumbled, keeping her gaze on her hands and fighting back tears, "I still don't really know what happened, just that they died from severe dehydration... I know that it was a demon, but I've not been able to figure out which one."

"I would say humans, other hunters maybe," Sam suggested as he watched the scene in front of him, "Okay, we need to spread out as much as two people can, flank them from either side..."

Despite only searching for clues, Sam wasn't stupid and had grabbed two pistols from the boot.

"Let me help you please, Cady." Dean looked a ther. "I'll help you find it. We'll take it down together and get the justice for your parents death." Dean promised.

Jessie took out the pistol her dad had given her out of the back of her pocket. Looking at Sam she grinned, "I always come prepared too. Be safe." Jessie whispered staring at him. "Let's save my old man." She laughed softly before moving away from him to draw the other people out.

"Why though, Dean, you didn't know them and you sure as hell don't know me," Cady argued, not wanting to seem weak or defenseless, "I've come this far on my own, what does my life matter to you?"

Sam nodded, reluctantly heading in the opposite direction and taking out one of the guys with a solid blow to the back of his head. He was used to killing demons, but they were dealing with humans and that made things a little more tricky.

"My dad taught me. They are bad hunters and good hunters. Every good hunter sticks together." Dean told her. "I go by that code. Something bad happened to you. You're a good person I can tell and I am never wrong about these things. That's why I want to help you so bad." Dean told her.

Taking two of the men down with a chock hold and blow to the head. Jessie saw Sam taking down some too. Biting her lip she saw the two around her dad. There weren't anymore that she saw. She took and looked at Sam unsure of what their move would be with the two around her dad like they were.

"I'll go with you, but it's not going to be forever... just until I find out what happened to my parents and kill whatever was behind it," Cady said, figuring that the extra help couldn't hurt and Dean seemed to know what he was doing.

The last two were close to Bobby, but Sam could tell that they were focused on their captive rather than their surroundings and that could be used to their advantage. Getting Jessie's attention from where he had taken cover behind a tree, Sam held up three fingers and slowly began to count down.

3... 2... 1...

Dean smiled with victory, "Good. Now rest till that stupid doctor gets in here and gets you fixed up. Just a fyi. You and I are married. Only way I could get past that stupid nurse to get back here to talk to you and check on you." Dean told her.

When he got to one, she moved out fast into the clearing with her gun aimed high. Seeing the two not paying a bit of attention. She noticed her dad's attention focus on her some but tried to play it cool. Running to the one near her she took the man down fast and hard seeing Sam do the same.

Quickly untying her dad she saw him get up and grab her in a hug. Holding to him she sighed in relief, "You ok?" She asked pulling back checking him over.

"I am fine. I have had worse kid." Bobby smiled hugging his daughter again and kissing the top of her head. "See you brought Sam with you. You two never could be apart. If you were you always found yourselves back to one another." He chuckled. "John always said you'd two end up together." Bobby laughed.

Jessie blushed, "Dad shut up." Jessie told him smacking his chest smiling towards Sam. "Aunt Ellen called actually." She told him as they began walking back towards the wooded area for her Jeep. "Thanks Sam." Jessie smiled up at him.

"Anything you say dear," Cady teased, though she wasn't entirely sure why she felt so at ease and was saved from her wandering thoughts as a doctor entered the room.

"You're welcome," Sam replied, slapping Bobby on the shoulder and assessing the damage to the men on the ground, "We should probably get out of here, they won't be out for too much longer and their friends will soon be joining them."

When Sam left for college, he had vowed to leave everything connected to the hunting world far behind and that had included Jessie. Of course, he had soon met Jessica and for a while, he was able to push the memories away... but Jessie had always been on his mind.

Dena chuckled at her comment. Seeing the doctor coming in he looked at the man. "Are you here to fix my wife up so we can be on our way?" Dean questioned.

Jessie smiled at Sam and enjoyed the walk back to her Jeep with them. She and her dad would talk. Right now she was happy he was ok.
