The sound of the ocean waves always brings a small smile to Evelyn's lips. Ever since she was a young child coming here, the view from the luxury hotel's outdoor dining area was always top-notch. She could see for miles out into the distance. Few tourists blocking the view since it was a private beach owned by the hotel. The lack of seagulls was a plus as well, although she really didn't care if there were any. But still, it was nice to not have to worry about being pooped on while having breakfast outside. Enjoying the calm before the storm of the day was to approach them.

Raising a bite of her Miso Croque madame to her lips, Evelyn smiled. It still tasted as amazing as the first time she tried it all those years ago. Ever since she's had to have it at least once on her yearly vacation with her father and the Hawthorne family. The dish might be simple and easily duplicated, but, Evelyn found that the food always tasted better when she got the chance to eat it and stare out at the ocean. Besides, the French really know how to make French food, right?

Once she had swallowed her bite, Evelyn grabbed the flute of orange juice and raised it to her lips. Only to stop when a certain someone caught her attention. A small smile displaying along her lips as she lowered the flute. "Morning, sleeping beauty." Evelyn teased Lance, then took a sip of her juice before setting it down. "Thought I was going to have the morning to myself." She joked as the waiter came over to see if Lance wanted anything to eat.

Lance rubbed his tired face as he sat down at the table. He only glanced up for a moment when the waiter came and order something familiar from the menu. Now was not the time to be trying new things or taking a risk with his breakfast. He wanted something good, something that would fill him. And, in all honestly, Lance wanted it 10 minutes ago. Though, he could not control time nor, apparently, get his ass out of bed before he started to starve.

"You almost did." Lance mumbled. He slowly leaned back into the chair, letting out a tired sigh as he did so. It was quite clear that Lance was still exhausted. Half of him still wanted to be in bed sleeping. Though the winning half had managed to pull him out to come downstairs to eat breakfast. "But I thought to myself what a wrong it would be to force you to enjoy your breakfast alone. So I forced myself out of bed to join you so that you may have some company, Evelyn."

He folded his hands together and laid them down on his lap. "However, if it is peace that you crave, I can always whisk myself away and find a group of more welcoming company." A smirk came over his lips at his teasing. Lance did not worry that Evelyn would say that she wished to be alone. After all, she tended to enjoy his company more than most and he felt the same way about her.

Dirty blonde eyebrows raised in amusement as Evelyn listened to Lance. The right corner of her lips tugging upwards into a small smirk as she couldn't help but to roll her eyes. "To think, you almost sounded chivalrous." She mused once the waiter left them to put Lance's order into the system. Although considering who he is, the food would probably be out in no more than a couple of moments.

"Anyways." Evelyn murmured quietly as she shifted her gaze back towards the water. Watching the waved as they crashed along the beach in the near distance. Lapping along the sand and moving loose shells around. "Is there anything you want to do today?" She glanced at the tired boy sitting across from him. Taking in the slight bags under his eyes. "Besides going back to bed, god you look exhausted." She murmured, and then shook her head. Neither disappointed nor amused, it was summer so they could pretty much do whatever they want to do right now.

Turning her head forward, Evelyn started to cut up more pieces of her breakfast as she listened to Lance. She knew he had a night last night, so she wasn't going to question him on it. Nor did she really want to know. "Some time today, I'd like for you to go surfing with me. I want to practice." She murmured, glancing up through her lashes to give the barely older then her man the puppy dog eyes.

"Almost? And where exactly did I take the wrong turn then, Evelyn? You know I pride myself on being a true gentleman and it hurts me to think that I did not live up to that high standard." Lance took that moment of pause to watch where the woman's eyes had went, noticing that she was now looking towards the beach. The waves were quite nice and it was a rather lovely day. Which was good, after all, they only had so much time left to enjoy their vacation. And who wanted to be in france when it was raining? No one.

His head turned when the waitress came back only moments later with his food. She set it down in front of him with a smile. "Enjoy," The woman said pleasantly before heading on her way. Lance glanced down at his plate before picking up his fork and knife to enjoy his meal. This was going to be one of the few things that kept him happy that morning. Not that he was feeling particularly unpleasant but it was harder to smile when one was tired. "Going back to bed is certainly a plan of mine."

Lance was about to look down at his food and enjoy it when Evelyn decided to look at him with those big puppy dog eyes of hers. He looked over her face before letting out a groan. "Oh, don't look at me like that. Why must you so shamelessly play with my emotions like that? You know how I hate to disappoint you." He let out a sigh as he looked out at the water again. Surfing really had not been on his lists of plans for the day. "Tell me without those begging eyes, why should I go surfing with you?"

A small laugh escaped from Evelyn as she listened to Lance. It took almost everything in her not to just break out into a big smile. She loved it when he seems surprised she calls him out. "It's your tone." She told him honestly as she looked down at her food and finished cutting it into bite-sized pieces. "It sounded slightly insincere at the end. That's all." She added a small shrug at the end, wanting to end the discussion. Her friend was a player, and it was amusing to see him acting like a gentleman around other girls. Especially when she got the gossip later that night.

Looking back up towards Lance once she was done cutting her food, Evelyn blinked innocently to get rid of the puppy dog look she had given him last. "Becasue I want to spend time with my best friend." She told him and offered a sweet smile. Still trying to butter her friend up and make him cave. "Or, you can go to the mall with me. I saw some shoes the other day that caught my eye and I haven't been able to stop thinking about." She added on, wondering if a choice would help him make up his mind.

Then, a small idea popped up into Evelyn's mind. "Actually, if we go to the mall we can hit that cute little cafe on the way and get some coffee. There was a barista that was checking you out pretty hard the last time we went there." Evelyn said as she reached out to grab her orange juice. She leaned back in her seat as she slowly sipped her juice as she waited for her friend's decision.

"I will do my best to manage my tone with you then." Lance said with a little chuckle. His eyes then glanced down at his food and started to focus on that instead of the woman across the table from him. Now that he did not enjoy giving Evelyn his attention, but rather because he knew that no matter what, his friend was going to try to do something that he didn't really want to do. Usually it was fine as Lance really did just enjoy her company but at that current moment, it was hard to want to go out and do anything when he felt so damn tired.

A light sigh left his lips when Evelyn mentioned going to the cafe and him picking up that barista. He tapped the side of his plate with his fork once before going back to eating his food again. "I don't want to pick her up. Her nose was weirdly shape. Like some kind of witch and I don't have a desire to get cursed." Despite Lance's love and respect (for the most part) for women, there were times where he was overly critical of them. Though Lance was overly critical of everyone. Which he was able to be when Lance could get almost anything and any person he wanted.

His eyes lifted up and meet with hers once again. "I suppose we can go down to the beach then and do some surfing. It could be fun. Though, I am hoping that my dear friend will allow me to go back to sleep for an hour before we head down? Waiting would be better anyhow as the water will be warmer towards the middle of the day.

As Evelyn listened to Lance, the most unladylike thing happaned and it appalled Evelyn to no end. She snorted, she freaking breathed in her orange juice and shot the citrus fruit juice out of her nose and onto the edge of her glass. A soft cough's escaped from Evelyn as she rushed to hide behind a napkin that she used to wipe her nose. As well as pretend she didn't just do something that will haunt her for the rest of her life. "Lance!" Evelyn said in what was meant to be a stern tone but was quickly overturned with the small laugh that escaped from Evelyn's lips. "That is so mean." She said through laughter and shook her head at his words. "At least it looked better than Gwen Jacobowitz's nose." She mumbled, thinking of her long time tormentor. "I swear, it looked like someone took a hammer to her nose."

"It will be fun." Evelyn said as she crumpled up the gross napkin and threw it onto her empty plate. Her drink long forgotten as it now grosses her out. Folding her hands on her lap lightly, Evelyn smiled lightly as she watched her friend for a moment. "You can sleep for a while more. We can go around eleven, surf for an hour or so, and then go out for lunch. How does that sound?" Evelyn asked, raising her right hand and tucking a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "It's not like our dads will miss us much. They've both got meetings with ministers or something until around dinner anyway." A roll of her eyes showed the amount of interest Evelyn had at the fact that their fathers were still working while on vacation.

Looking towards the water, Evelyn's mind started to wonder as Lance finished his food. They only had a couple more days here and then they'll be in their last year of high school. Time was slipping them by. Soon, they'll be off to college and doing who knows what with their lives. Of course, they'll both be taking over from their father's. Well, Lance will but Evelyn's older brother Thomas will be taking over their father's position. Meaning, Evelyn was on her own. Sure, she could still have a nice cushiony job in her family's company, but. Was that was she really wanted? What did she even want to do with life? Certainly, she didn't want to be a trophy wife like her mother was. That would drive her insane, Evelyn liked being around people. She just didn't know what she'd want to do that'd please her family.

"Do you ever wonder?" Evelyn said, once Lance finished his breakfast. "What you'd want to do if you weren't an heir to an Earl and his conglomerate?" Evelyn's bright eyes shifted downwards and she raised a hand to lightly tap the plate with her pointer finger. "If we were normal? Not children of rich and powerful parents?"

The man let out a hearty laugh when he saw the orange juice come out of Evelyn's nose. It certainly was not what he had been expecting, but it was hilarious. To the point where he had to grab onto his side as it was hurting from laughing so much. Once he slowly started to calm down, his hands came up to his eyes and he started to rub the corner tears away. "That was terrible." He said with a much lighter chuckle. "You are lucky that only I saw it or it would be quickly spread around the school once we got back!"

"It is mean, but it is also true," Lance said as he looked over at Evelyn, the smile growing on his face now. "The thing about Gwen and her honker of a nose is true as well. Gwen's nose is horrendous. I don't understand why her parents did not let her go in to get that nose job when she asked. I mean, why do you think that I get my eyebrows waxed on a constant basis? I don't want to walk around looking like some ugly as monobrow man. No girl would want to look at me."

As he said that, Lance reached out and smoothed out his eyebrows. It was something that he was actually sensitive about. "Yes, I think that sounds like a plan then. I'll go back to bed, we surf and then we will enjoy dinner. And I am certainly not worried about my father. No matter how he tries to get away from work, they always pull him back in. But I suppose that tends to happen with you're in charge of everything."

A low sigh left Lance as he started to think about the fact that he would someday be in his father's position. But Lance hoped that he would be able to enjoy his vacation when he was out of the office. "I do wonder. But... then I think about all of the people who don't have what we have. We would be some common folk, with no connections and we both would look hideous. I probably wouldn't be able to do what I wanted even if I was one of them because I would have nothing to offer of value to anyone that important."

"It is a harsh reality but we are fortunate. I try not to dwell on what I would be like if I was not me."

"Shut it, Hawthorne," Evelyn mumbled, pretending to be mad that her friend was laughing at her. Although she couldn't help the small smile that still tugged at the corners of her lips. "An who says any girl wants you now?" She said teasingly. "On an honest note though, I'm surprised you still do that. I didn't know eyebrow hair grows so fast." She said and then shrugged her shoulders. Not really wanting to talk about his eyebrows, feeling like that was an odd subject and a little too intimate for them. Besides, she didn't want to know what she gets waxed as that wasn't part of his business.

Then, slowly, Evelyn's smile slowly slipped from her lips as she listened to Lance. What he spoke was true and to the point. But, it wasn't really what she wanted to hear. She wanted to know if he had dreams other than running a business. If he wanted to do something other than being a noble with his nose in the air, looking down on others. Well, she already knew he was a stuck-up snob, but she loved him anyway. They've grown up together, so they knew each other's quirks better than anyone else. Rather they wanted to or not.

Forcing a small smile to take place of her frown, Evelyn forced her smile to then morph into a practiced smirk. A smirk that was as stuck up like the bitch bullies at school. "You're a cynical guy sometimes, Lance." She said and then rolled her eyes playfully as she shook her head at his words. Then, she slowly stood up and stretched her arms above her head. "Whelp, we're done here. Let's get the baby back to bed. I have some of Tudor's episodes to watch." Evelyn said as she grabbed the bill and started to walk to where they're to pay for their meals.

    ----

The door to Evelyn's hotel room was slightly ajar. She kept it open so that Lance could walk in once his alarm woke up and he was ready to go surfing. Running a brush through her hair as she stood in front of the long mirror in the bathroom Evelyn perfected her grip on her hair. Then, she tied it into a nice tight ponytail. Keeping it out of her face as she went over the waves. Her bright green eyes wandered up and down herself for a moment. Taking in her bikini clad body. She looked good in the black and white spotted piece. A small smile came to her lips, it's been a while since she went out wearing something so revealing. Usually, Evelyn only wore shorts that were barely under her fingertips or a barely revealing V-neck tank top when he was out. If her dad saw her wearing a bikini and just a wrap around her bottom half, he'd freak.

Hearing someone walk into the hotel room, Evelyn turned her gaze away from her reflection. "Lance?" She called as she walked out of the bathroom. Hoping it was her friend and not someone breaking it because of her carelessness. Thankfully though, it was her friend. "You ready?" She asked, wondering if he was going to go surfing or if he was going to try and bail on her instead.

Although he would have preferred to just sleep until he naturally woke up, Lance did decide to put on an alarm. Just so he wasn't overly late for meeting Evelyn to head down to the beach. At least, when he woke up from said alarm, Lance felt well rested and was ready to take on the waves. So, he got up, got dressed, and headed out of his hotel room. Lance went to Evelyn's room. His hands were in the pockets of his swim trunks as he walked into the room, only really looking up when Evelyn called his name.

"Hey," He said as he walked the rest of the way into the room, looking over at his friend. Lance was a little surprised to see her wearing something like that. She didn't tend to show a lot of skin to begin with. Plus her outfit wasn't exactly surfing friendly as it would be quite easy for something to get pulled off from the waves. Though he did not say anything. Surely Evelyn already knew that and if she trusted her bikini, then that was on her.

"I am ready," Lance said as he motioned down to himself, pointing out his current attire. "Everything we need is already down by the beach. It's all taken care of. So we can just head out," It was pretty easy for things like that to happen for Lance and those around him. If they were doing an activity or going somewhere, the situation was always taken care of. Lance rarely walked around with much outside of an ID or money because of it. There was no reason to pack or prepare because there was someone to call to do it for him.

With that said, Lance turned around and started to make his way out of the hotel. "I looked out of the window and the waves are still looking pretty good. Sound be a good day for it."

A small smile appeared on Evelyn's lips as Lance spoke to her. A small nod of her head was her answer as she moved after her tall friend. Although a small itch inside of her started to raise its ugly head. Not even a compliment from him or a comment on her attire. Sure, he was her friend but still. He didn't say he liked her bikini or told her to put something over it. It was kinda annoying, she wanted to act out. She wanted someone to comment on her being different, but. It seemed like Lance was a bit too bull-headed for it. So, Evelyn just pushed the idea of getting a rise out of someone out of her head. It was whatever.

Walking out of the hotel with Lance, that was when the hairs on the back of Evelyn's neck started to rise. Yup, now this was the place where people would look. "And to think you didn't want to go surfing earlier." Evelyn murmured, her tone teasing as her bright green eyes landed upon the nice-looking waved in the distance. They weren't the biggest waves, but they certain;y weren't tiny either. They were manageable for people who weren't advanced, intermittent really.

Reaching down as they walked along the sand, Evelyn looked down and started to undo the little sash around her hips. Freeing her bottom from it so that it didn't get lost somewhere in the ocean. Folding the fabric, Evelyn folded it nicely as she looked up. A small smile playing along her lips as she saw where her things were placed for them. "Marco really goes all out when you tell him what you want to do," Evelyn said, commenting on how well Lance's family's head servant always went up and beyond for them. "I call dibs on the blue board!" Evelyn said and grinned teasingly, leaving Lance with the pink one that was obviously meant for her as it had Hawaiian flowers on it and looked girly.

"It is a good thing then that you looked at me with those puppy dog eyes then, isn't it?" Lance told her with a smirk on his face. "Sometimes it is a good thing when I let you get you way. Sometimes." His head turned to follow her glaze towards the ocean. The closer he got, the more confirmation that he received that the waves would be perfect. They weren't so easy that he would be bored but not so difficult that Evelyn would keep falling off of her board. Might take her some tries... or maybe some waves will be harder than others but she should have a good time as well out there. But if it turned for the worst, Lance would make sure that they headed out. Evelyn wasn't advanced enough to go out on the huge waves.

"Yes, Marco is very good at his job," Lance responded as he looked down at everything. Towels, a beach blanket, snacks, and water, an umbrella, a safe area to put their things. And a couple more goodies from the man. It was times like this where Lance was glad that he never had to pack or plan much out. It probably was not a fun time having to get everything and drag it out to the beach. But Marco was getting paid well enough for it and he got brought along on the vacations. Surely it was not that bad for the man.

Lance let out a hearty laugh when Evelyn tried to call dibs on the blue board. "I don't think so. First of all, that board is way too long for you. You won't be able to control it! Also, this other board," Lnace tapped it with his foot. "Is way too short for me! I think the pink one is yours." He let out a softer chuckle, knowing that Evelyn was just teasing him because of the colors. Though, in honesty, he didn't care much. Girly things weren't all that bad, especially as they tended to attract girls. "But if you hate the pink board so much, I can message Marco to get you a new color. How about..." He let out a long hum. "Black with skulls on it?"

A playful roll of her eyes was Evelyn's answer as Lance started to explain the differences in the board. Leave it to the nerd to not just let her miserably fail in the water with the board that was obviously too big for her. "Nerd," Evelyn mumbled as she playfully elbowed Lance in the side lightly. Then, she sat her sash down and reached out a hand to grab the pink board that was a good size for her short five-foot frame. "Hm, I was actually thinking purple. But black with skulls would work. Next time though, I don't want to wait around for another board." Evelyn said as she looked up at Lance and grinned. "Let's go!"

As she walked towards the water, A small feeling of tranquility washed over her. It was nice, that Lance wasn't turned off by her more alternative and rebel like taste in things. Preferring darker colors and music over that overly bright and pop music. She wasn't much for following the crowd and it's what got her in trouble a lot with other students. Bully's making fun of her for her taste in posters on her locker or the things she likes to wear outside of school. Skinny jeans over skirts. Heeled boots over stilettoes. Okay, that last one is because she feels like she's going to fall when she wears them, wedge heels are more her thing when she dresses up. But it's like, Lance, being one of the most popular guys at school. Makes it feel like she actually belongs in the world that she was born into. That she wasn't a full-on freak.

"Oh!" Evelyn squealed as she set her first foot into the water. "That's cold!" She squeaked as she turned nervously to look towards Lance. "This is really going to wake you up now!" She said as she took in a deep breath to steel herself against the still warming up water and headed in. Wanting to have some fun already.

Once they were right by the water, Lance put his feet in, immediately feeling a shiver move up his spine from the chill water. It was a bit chilly. Well... more than a bit but they would warm up soon enough once they were in the water. Though he waited for Evelyn to get in and get on her board before he did the same. Since he was better at surfing, Lance liked to be behind her and watch over her. It was just better to keep an eye on her. Not only because he cared about Evelyn and didn't want her to get hurt, but because he knew that his father would quickly blame him for not being responsible enough if something were to happen to Evelyn. But nothing will. He was going to take care of her and make sure that she got back to the hotel safely. It was his job to take responsibility and lead to any situation that he was in.

Soon enough, the two of them were far enough into the water that they were close to the waves. Lance was just sitting on the board, going up and down with each one that came in. Just a little further and they would actually be able to surf them. Though whoever decided to go first would be the one to swim in while the other stayed back and watched from a safe distance. Neither of them wanted to be too close and get slammed in the face by a surfboard and a fully gown adult.

"Alright, lets look at these waves." Lance said as he watched them for a moment. He wasn't noticing anything that Evelyn was not able to handle. Maybe she would fall off but nothing too bad, nothing that would hurt her or really cause her to get stuck under the waves. "How about you go first, Evelyn?" Lance said as he looked over to her. "You haven't gone on a wave in a while, might be a good idea for me to watch you and let you know if you need more work on your form." With that, he nodded for her to start to head out.

This was supposed to be fun. She's done this a couple of times before, but, it's been a few months. Almost a year to be exact since she last surfed. So, why was she suddenly feeling extremely nervous? She knew how to swim, she knew how to stand on the board, she could do this. Yet, she felt terrified. Why? What had changed? What was bothering her so damn much? She didn't know.

Blinking her bright green eyes, Evelyn glance towards Lance as he spoke. Her head nodding ever so slightly as she listened to him. Her soft pink lips pursing for a moment, before she slowly nodded her head. "Okay." She said quietly and then looked forward once more before slowly leaning forward on her board so that she could get in position to catch the wave. They were some of the only people who were out, so there was plenty of space. Plenty of room for error.

Taking in a deep breath, Evelyn turned her board around and then slowly started to swim towards Lance once more before moving to stand as the wave started to carry her forward. At first, her legs were a little wobbly. Then she was able to stand for a couple of moments before falling backwardrds into the water. A small squeak barely escaping from her as she fell. The water brought Evelyn down and flipped her about before she caught herself and started to swim towards the surface where she saw her board through the sunlit water.

Gasping for air, Evelyn coughed for a moment as she grabbed onto her board and hauled herself onto it. A tired huff escaping from her lips as she shivered and looked towards Lance as she floated towards him. Wanting to hear what he thought of her wipeout.

Once Evelyn crashed into the ocean, Lance started to make his way over to where she had landed. Though he only started to relax when she was back onto her board and floating her way over to him. A half-smile came over his face as he looked at her. Lance knew that Evelyn would be disappointed by the wipeout. At times, the woman could be such a perfectionist. Though he did admire her determination to get things right. "Your legs and stance were weak," Lance explained to her easily. While he was not an expert himself, Lance could see the more common mistakes that people made. "You need to move with the wave and not be so rigid. And, with that stance, it is easy for you to be thrown off balance. Remember to keep your legs at the appropriate width to give you more control. Your stance was too long, this time."

Lance stood up on his board and moved his feet onto a stance that was too long for him. "You're kinda standing like this. When your feet are out to far, it is easier to be knocked down. I can't control the wave, but like this, I can't even control my board. It will move me so if I try to fight back, I'll get knocked on my ass." He then moved his legs to the appropriate stance. "But like this, I have full control of the board. I tell the board where to move to. It is no longer listening to the wave underneath it, but to me."

The man then moved back so he was sitting on the board again. Though he started to relax a bit more, his elbows moving behind him as he leaned back. Lance was willing to just relax a bit until he knew that Evelyn had a hold of it. After all, he didn't want to be on a wave and then find out she had fallen in and was drowning. "How about you go again. It has been a while since you have been out here so it might take you a few times to remember."

A small huff escaped from Evelyn as she listened to Lance. She hated that she embarrassed herself so easily in front of her friend. Although, he was right. Her stance was shit and she could feel the board and the waved fighting her the few seconds she was on the board. Her leg muscles ached a little too, meaning she probably still needed to work out more to be able to stand in that position for longer without the burn that follows.

"Right. I'll remember that." Evelyn said quietly and nodded her head. Showing Lance that she had paid attention to him and she had. She hung to his instructions, because well. He was the reason she got into surfing in the first place. They didn't have that many common interests anymore and wanted to do something with him. Show that she was willing to learn something new still, that she wasn't just another rich stick in the mud homebody.

Then, a look of shock and confusion appeared on her face as she slowly frowned and tilted her head ever so slightly. "You sure? It's your turn though." Evelyn said, wondering if this was a ploy and what he had told her was a lie or something. "Hmm, fine." She mumbled after a moment, feeling like arguing with him would be pointless. So, she turned her board and started to head towards the wave once more. Then, she got on and practiced what Lance had told her to do. Moving her legs so that they weren't to far apart, that she felt like she was moving with the wave and not against it.

"Did you see that!" Evelyn called as she finished with the wave and sat back on her board as she made her way towards Lance once more. A huge grin on her face. "That was so much fun!" Excitement cursed through Evelyn's body at how proud she was of herself. Then, a small chill ran down her spine as she heard some catcalls from some guys who were in the water nearby that seemed to have been watching. "Ugh," Evelyn mumbled, looking away from them and back towards the waves. Trying to ignore them as they were starting to make her feel uncomfortable. She wasn't used to attention from guys. Well, except for Lance, but he didn't count.

When Evelyn went back out onto the wave, Lance watched her carefully. And it only took a few moments until he realized that she had taken his advice correctly and surfing the wave properly. A warm smile came over his face as he watched her. It was good to see that his assistance was working for her. Plus, he enjoyed having things to do with Evelyn that they both enjoyed. Sure, they went shopping enough but Lance couldn't say that he exactly enjoyed shopping. But it was a good thing when he needed to pick something up, or when Lance wanted to pick up a girl.

Lance sat back up properly when Evelyn came back to where he was relaxing. "Yes, I saw!" Lance said with a laugh. "It was great. Just keep your legs like that and you shouldn't have any more problems. "But, you know..." The man traveled off when he heard some guys catcalling Evelyn. His head and eyes shifted over to where the yells were coming from. At seeing them, his eyes started to narrow. What was wrong with people? It was so crude. Though there wasn't much that Lance could do besides yell back... And, although he was strong, he wasn't sure he could take on four men.

His head turned back so he could look at Evelyn. "Don't mind them," Lance told her, his voice softening a bit. "I know it is annoying but men like that just yell because they have small dicks and don't know how to pull a woman." He shifted on the surfboard a bit and looked back at the group. They weren't that close but still... too close for comfort. Especially if they were going to stare and yell the whole time. "Do you want to leave?"

A small sigh escaped from Evelyn as the guys kept yelling crude remarks and whistling. It was quite annoying. Surely, surfing at a high-end resort would keep that sort of trash out of their hair, but apparently not. "Let's head back. We have to get ready for dinner. Dad said he had something important to talk about." Evelyn said as she glanced towards the men who were being disgusting pigs. Turning her head away, Evelyn tossed her wet ponytail over her shoulder and started to head back to shore. Ignoring the comments about her ass. So much for having fun with Lance.

    --Later that night--

Spraying just a little bit more hair spray on her hair, Evelyn made sure that she looked amazing. They were going to one of the fanciest restaurants in the city they were staying in and needed to look presentable. So, no sweats and no baggy clothing. She was dressed in a new designer dress and shoes that aren't available to the public till next month. Her lips were painted in a nude color that offered a little bit of shine to her lips. Her hair was in a cute half updo.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Evelyn turned this way and that. Making sure she didn't miss a tag or anything else that could embarrass her or her dining partners. Once Evelyn was sure she was good, she grabbed her clutch and headed out of her room. Her heels making soft clicking noised as she went to the elevator and stepped inside. Her right shoe clicked slightly impatiently as she waited for it to go down. She was running a couple of minutes late and was sure she was going to receive a text from her dad or Lance asking if she was in the lobby yet at any moment.

The door of the elevator opened on one of the lower floors and Evelyn couldn't help the small frown that appeared on her lips. One of the boys she saw earlier was standing in front of her. "Hey, you're that hot chick from earlier." He said, sounding like he was just hitting puberty. Stepping onto the Elevator, Evelyn tried to keep her expression neutral as he stood next to her. Wearing plain jeans and a white shirt. Obviously not the most fashionable guy and a disappointment to the clientele this place is supposed to host. "You know, you were really good. My friends and I were watching you." Evelyn ignored him, then rolled her eyes as he started to talk about himself.

As the elevator dinged on the lobby floor, Evelyn stepped off. Wanting to get away from the guy as fast as she could. Except, the kid was hot on her heels and grabbed onto her wrist. "Hey, can I get your number?" He asked, holding a little to tightly to her wrist to be gentleman-like.
