"Shut it, Hawthorne," Evelyn mumbled, pretending to be mad that her friend was laughing at her. Although she couldn't help the small smile that still tugged at the corners of her lips. "An who says any girl wants you now?" She said teasingly. "On an honest note though, I'm surprised you still do that. I didn't know eyebrow hair grows so fast." She said and then shrugged her shoulders. Not really wanting to talk about his eyebrows, feeling like that was an odd subject and a little too intimate for them. Besides, she didn't want to know what she gets waxed as that wasn't part of his business.
Then, slowly, Evelyn's smile slowly slipped from her lips as she listened to Lance. What he spoke was true and to the point. But, it wasn't really what she wanted to hear. She wanted to know if he had dreams other than running a business. If he wanted to do something other than being a noble with his nose in the air, looking down on others. Well, she already knew he was a stuck-up snob, but she loved him anyway. They've grown up together, so they knew each other's quirks better than anyone else. Rather they wanted to or not.
Forcing a small smile to take place of her frown, Evelyn forced her smile to then morph into a practiced smirk. A smirk that was as stuck up like the bitch bullies at school. "You're a cynical guy sometimes, Lance." She said and then rolled her eyes playfully as she shook her head at his words. Then, she slowly stood up and stretched her arms above her head. "Whelp, we're done here. Let's get the baby back to bed. I have some of Tudor's episodes to watch." Evelyn said as she grabbed the bill and started to walk to where they're to pay for their meals.

The door to Evelyn's hotel room was slightly ajar. She kept it open so that Lance could walk in once his alarm woke up and he was ready to go surfing. Running a brush through her hair as she stood in front of the long mirror in the bathroom Evelyn perfected her grip on her hair. Then, she tied it into a nice tight ponytail. Keeping it out of her face as she went over the waves. Her bright green eyes wandered up and down herself for a moment. Taking in her
bikini clad body. She looked good in the black and white spotted piece. A small smile came to her lips, it's been a while since she went out wearing something so revealing. Usually, Evelyn only wore shorts that were barely under her fingertips or a barely revealing V-neck tank top when he was out. If her dad saw her wearing a bikini and just a wrap around her bottom half, he'd freak.
Hearing someone walk into the hotel room, Evelyn turned her gaze away from her reflection. "Lance?" She called as she walked out of the bathroom. Hoping it was her friend and not someone breaking it because of her carelessness. Thankfully though, it was her friend. "You ready?" She asked, wondering if he was going to go surfing or if he was going to try and bail on her instead.
