A small thoughtful hum escaped from Vince as he thought about what Max could have prepared for the pack. Allowing a couple of moments to pass before Vince thought of what he could have possibly made for them. "I'm betting on either french toast and fresh-cut fruit. Or, he could have whipped up some scrambled eggs, sausage, and toast. The guy's not the greatest of cooks. So even if it tastes like shit, please be nice to the guy." Vince said as he looked down at Charlotte and offered her a small smile.

Once they arrived at the house, Vince made sure to open the door for Charlotte. His eyes glanced down to her ankle and he tried to decide rather or not she'd want him to carry her the last couple of steps towards the kitchen or not. Knowing Charlotte though, he was getting the idea that she'd rather walk and not show weakness. Which, he couldn't help but commend in a woman like her. She was a strong woman, and Vince didn't want to get in her way too often.

Heading towards the Kitchen, Vince couldn't help but feel his nostrils twitch slightly. The stench of burned food caught his attention before something else did. "You ordered in?" Vince asked as soon as they walked into the Kitchen. His eyes roamed over the lie of an amazing breakfast spread of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon. "I thought we were staying away from ordering," Vince said as he gave Max a look as he had an innocent look on his face as he brought out the bottle of orange juice. "You never said anything about driving to pick up food." He threw back at Vince and then offered Charlotte a small smile.

An irritated sigh escaped from the Alpha. He wasn't in the mood to argue with the idiot this early in the morning. "Whatever," Vince said quietly as he pulled out a chair for Charlotte before taking a seat next to her. Grabbing her plate, Vince piled on a couple of everything for the young girl before placing the plate down. "It's going to become a madhouse in a few," Vince said in a low voice to Charlotte and just in time two because the other few who lived in the house could be heard coming towards the kitchen.

"You do not need to worry, I promise I will be nice," Charlotte responded with a gentle smile on her face. "Even if it is the worst thing I have ever eaten, I will keep it to myself." She teased gently. With them getting closer to the door, Charlotte closed her mouth, not wanting the cook to hear what the two of them were saying. Though, she figured if he was really that bad at making things, the man would know...Unless he had no taste buds and an iron stomach.

Heading into the house, Charlotte released her grip on Vincent. She started to walk as she normally would. Though she was extremely grateful that they were so close to the table. Her foot was hurting like hell. Although it had healed quite a bit in the last week, she had not thought about whether or not the pain was really gone. If it wasn't for the damn huge bruise basically covering her calf, it would not be so bad. But since it was there, it shot pain over her leg as she walked, merely because she was using her muscles there.

Charlotte was ignoring the smell and the food that was in the kitchen, instead keeping her mind on the path to the table. Once she was sitting and her weight was off of her leg again, she felt a huge amount of relief on her muscles. She shifted a bit in the chair, letting out a small breath of air before beginning to relax once again. It was doubtful she was going to want to go on that walk tomorrow...

At this point, her eyes lifted up and she finally started to pay attention to what was happening around her. Charlotte looked over to the area that smelled of burnt food, seeing that there really was quite the mess and pitch black food there. It was bad enough that she really had no idea what it was meant to be. Though her eyes then shifted over to the counter, taking in the sight of breakfast. She caught the smile that the other man gave her and she softly smiled back. "I'm glad. Looks like the original breakfast did not go so well." Charlotte joked warmly.

"Besides, what is wrong with eating out?" Charlotte asked Vincent as he set her now filled plate in front of her. She murmured a gentle 'thank you' to him before beginning to eat. Though before she even got her first bite in, she could hear running through the house.

"I am not babysitting tonight Marcus. I have plans." Lucas's voice could be heard echoing as the teenager stomped down the stairs. "Come on man, Caden likes you more than anyone else in the house." Marcus tried to explain to the teen as he held his kid in one arm as he walked down the stairs. "No dude, ask Max or Vince," Lucas murmured as he walked into the kitchen and huffed. "I've watched the kid three days last week. I'm done babysitting for a while. That kid is a menace."

"Hey!" Marcus said and glared at the teen. "Watch the language you little shit." The words just left Marcus' lips and as he saw that Vince and Charlotte were also in the room, his lips pursed into a thin line. "Sorry, Alpha," Marcus said instantly when he saw Vince glaring at the father of the toddler. "Shouldn't you be the one to watch your mouth?" Vince asked, glaring at the slightly older man before turning towards the table as he got his own plate of food. "You're right, I'm sorry."

Once his plate was filled, Vince glanced towards Charlotte. Remembering that she had asked him a question. "We're just trying to be healthier, that's all," Vince explained as he took a bite of bacon. "Besides, I won our last game of poker and I wanted to force everyone to act more human." Vince grabbed his orange juice glass and took a couple of sips. "What were you two arguing about anyway?" The alpha asked as he looked towards his pack members once more.

"Marcus wants me to babysit Caden again, but I have plans with friends." Lucas was first to say as he piled his plate with food. Fighting over the bacon with Marcus just to anger him. "Yeah well, I have adult things to do." Was Marcus' reply. "Adult things?" Vince asked, arching a brow as he set his fork down and crossed his arms over his chest. Eyeing the man as he waited for an explanation since he wasn't informed of out-of-pack activities that the older man might have. Lucas didn't tell him either, but the teen mostly did online gaming with people anyways.

Growing a little fidgety, Marcus couldn't meet Vince in the eyes. Releasing a sigh, Vince just shook his head. The man was going to go bar hopping. It's been two years since the mother of his son died, so the man's been sinking lower and lower on the edge of things. "Lucas isn't going to watch Caden, Max will," Vince said, deciding the matter. Which resulted in the sound of Max groaning as he joined the table. "An you're going to be on guard duty with me tonigh." A couple of small nods came from the men before everyone started to eat.

As she watched the situation unfold in front of her, Charlotte remained quiet. It wasn't an uncommon argument, who was going to watch a child when multiple people wanted to do something else. After all, kids were a lot of work and they certainly could not be left alone. Though what she was surprised to see was just how much command Vincent had. Just a few words from him and the argument was done. It was decided who was doing what and there seemed to really be no arguing about it. She certainly hoped that no one here was expecting that from her. Even though she was planning on being a bit more.... amicable to the situation she was in, Charlotte was not going to just roll over and do as Vincent said all the time.

Once the men had calmed down a bit, Charlotte glanced back over at Vincent. "Are you trying to say that there is something unhuman about ordering out to eat?" She asked him, a bit of a teasing smile coming over her face. While it was clear that Vincent had the last say when it came to the men, she liked the idea of poking the bear, just a little bit. "Because I know humans that eat out for every meal of the day. To the point where they have no idea how to cook even the most simple of things."

She picked up a piece of bacon and took a bite out of it. "Now I am not saying that it is healthy. Because it really is not unless they are specifically buying items that are from healthier restaurants but I am saying that it is not unhuman to order out to eat." Charlotte took another few bites of her food.

Her eyes shifted over to the man who she was pretty sure went out and bought the food. "It is delicious though. Where did you order this from?"

It seemed to be one thing after another with Charlotte. She was a curious woman, Vince would give her that, but somethings he was not quite ready to answer. So, when she asked him about what was wrong with ordering take-out instead of cooking to feel more human. Well, a headache could be felt forming inside of his head. Releasing a small sigh, Vince could feel the others in the room glancing between the two of them. Turning his head towards Charlotte, Vince offered Charlotte a small smile. "Let's talk about that later." Was all he'd say on the subject, deciding that he'd ignore any other questions on the topic

Looking back down at the food, Vince started to pick at what was on his plate. His appetite wasn't fully there anymore. Thankfully though, it seemed that she had decided to talk to Max instead. "It's from this little hole in the wall place," Max said, sounding smug in his findings and for the fact that Charlotte spoke to him. "It's called El Nino's. It's on the far side of town, but it's soo worth the drive." Max grinned and shoved some more food into his mouth. "Their dinner food selection is the bomb too, they have some of the best ribs as well."

Thankfully, the rest of breakfast seemed to go over nicely. Everyone tossed around mindless things to talk about. Laughs were shared with each other and some food may have been tossed around before being stopped by Vince. Saying that it wasn't something to teach a kid since Caden was watching and listening to everything that was going on. Another pack member giving him a headache almost every day was not something that Vince really wanted at the moment. Or possibly ever for that matter.

Once everyone was full and ready to go on and get on with their day. The pack started to stack the dishes before passing things to Max. "You make or rather buy food, you clean up," Vince said towards Charlotte as a way to explain why Max was the one who was being handed the dishes to take to the sink. Standing up, Vince held out a hand to Charlotte in case she needed help standing up from her chair. "Want to go and see what we've got to watch?" Vince asked as he saw the others heading in their own directions through the corner of his eyes. "And put that ankle up for a little bit more? Does it feel okay still or is it hurting?"

As Vincent stood up, offering her his hand, Charlotte reached out and took it. Although she did not really want to say anything, her foot was hurting like hell so she was looking forward to laying down once again. "Yes, lets go watch something." Charlotte told him, offering the man a little smile. She knew she was being purposefully difficult during breakfast regarding the take out thing. But she really couldn't help herself but want to push some of Vincent's buttons.

Although she wasn't planning on saying anything, when Vincent asked about her leg, she couldn't think of a good reason to lie. "It still hurts." Charlotte admitted to him. "I think it would be a good thing if I was able to put it up for a bit." Now that he already knew, Charlotte leaned into his side and wrapped her arm around his shoulder so she could take some weight off of her foot as they headed into the entertainment room.

Once in there, she was quick to fall back into the couch and moving her legs on it as well. The moment all of the pressure was off of her leg, the woman let out a sigh of relief. It felt so much better when she wasn't using that leg at all. Charlotte hoped that it was going to be a lot easier to walk in a few days though. She knew the pain was just coming from the bad bruising around her leg but surely that would not stay for long?

"What kind of movies do you like?" She asked him curiously.

Another week has come and gone. Vince had been keeping a stronger eye on the territory since that pack had attacked them. He didn't want to take any chances, especially since charlotte's now starting to be able to walk farther without her ankle hurting her. She's been good about not pushing his buttons, but the Alpha's still a little nervous to allow her out of his sight for more than a couple of minutes. Maybe it was his wolf's mate instinct, or maybe it was just him being paranoid, but he wasn't against having her around him so often.

Either way, Vince wanted to show his respect and trust for Charlotte. So, he had his pack members sniff around her apartment building earlier. When they reported that they didn't pick up anything from the other pack, Vince brought up his decision to Charlotte. Today, they're going to her dorm to pick up her things. Max was going to stay back in the car for backup in case they got ambushed there and would alert Vince if he saw or smelled any of the other pack's members nearby.

Pulling into the parking lot, Vince glanced to his right and looked at Charlotte in the passenger seat. This was going to be a huge test of trust. Charlotte has the possibility to tell others about him and the pack, or she could tell people that she was kidnapped. Either way, he could get into a lot of trouble. Then, he shifted his gaze forward once more as he pulled into a parking spot. "Alright." Is all Vince says as he parks the car before getting out and moving towards Charlotte's side. Opening the door, Vince holds out a hand to Charlotte to help her out. She may be able to stand and walk okay on her own now, but it's becoming a habit of his to help her.

Charlotte was beyond pleased when Vincent finally said that they would be heading to her dorm to pick up some of her things. Over the last two weeks, she had only been able to use what the pack had. Which meant all of the clothes she had been wearing was Vincent's - as well as the shampoo and soap she had been using. If she had wanted to do anything, Charlotte had to ask the pack if they had what she needed. So suffice to say, Charlotte had not been totally enjoying having to share so much. Though, she supposed borrowing Vincent's clothes was not so bad. They were comfortable and she liked the way they smelled.

As Vincent came to her side of the car and helped her out of it, she smiled warmly at him. She took his hand and slid out. Her leg was basically back to normal now. Most of the bruising was gone and the only bits that were left were yellow. Though it didn't hurt anymore. Her wrist was still broken and healing, however. Which meant that Vincent was going to have to do most of the heavy lifting. "It'll be quick, like I promised. We won't be able to take everything today anyways." She told him, squeezing Vincent's hand as she did so.

She knew Vincent was stressed out about this. He was worried about the other pack coming to attack. Though Charlotte needed her things and honestly, shouldn't she be safe around so many humans? Charlotte used her student card to get them into the building and then brought Vincent to the fourth floor. Once there, she opened the door to her dorm. "Here it is." Charlotte said as she walked inside. It looked exactly how she left it, which was good.

As Charlotte spoke to him, all Vincent could find himself being able to do was let out a small sigh through his nose. His lips pursed into a thin line, the edge slightly downwards. It didn't matter really that it'd be quick. The fact that Charlotte's life was being uprooted because of all of this was the real thing that was eating him up inside, but he couldn't tell her that. So, instead, the Alpha wolf just nodded his head in understanding before moving to follow her into the building.

"We'll start with your most important things," Vince murmured, more so to himself as he followed Charlotte up the stairs of the dorm building. His eyes looking around as he took in everything. This was the first time he'd been inside a dorm building, and it was quite interesting to him. "Are all dorms so packed too tightly?" Vince asked as he stopped in the doorway and looked into the room that had belonged to Charlotte. Until recently.

A small smile slowly displayed on Vince's lips. "You definitely put your touch on things in here," Vince murmured as he slowly walked into the room. Taking in the sweet smell of Charlotte that seemed to fill the small place. "Where do you want me to start helping?" He asked, not wanting to intrude and accidentally touch or see something that might cause Charlotte to become mad or embarrass around him. He had just gotten her to open up to him, the last thing Vince wanted was for her to retreat into her bubble once more.

"Most dorms are, yes." Charlotte told him as she opened up the door to her closet. "The only dorms that are large tend to have two or even four people living in them. I rather have a small one by myself." Her head shifted back, looking at Vincent with a bit of a smile on her face. "Have you never been in one?" She asked him, her head tilting a bit to the side. "I mean you were going to school here."

Charlotte turned back to her closet, pulling out the suitcase that she had on the top shelf. After bringing it down to the ground, Charlotte opened it up and then started to go through her clothes. That was one of the important things that she had to bring along. Even though wearing Vincent's clothes was one of the things she didn't actually mind much about, Charlotte was missing having items that actually fit her. "After today, you'll actually be able to have all of your sweatshirts back," She teased lightly.

"Oh, can you pack my switch and some of my books?" Her eyes shifted back to him for a moment. "I can't contact anyone on my switch so you shouldn't have to hide it away." Since Charlotte had been at Vincent's, she had not had access to her phone or laptop. It was... disappointing to say the least. Though she was wondering how Vincent had been able to keep her family calm during all of this. Was the pack messaging them, pretending to be her?

"Nope." Was Vince's gruff reply as he slowly moves his eyes around to take in the place. Slowly setting down the box that he had brought along for Charlotte's things. "I always had other places to stay." He told her as he slowly walked into the small room and took everything in. There have been many things and places that Vince's seen and a dorm were not one of them. Although, it did bring back bad memories that he really didn't want to think about.

Looking over his shoulder as Charlotte spoke again, A small snort escaped from Vincent. "I quite like you in my clothes." He said casually as he then headed over towards her books, dragging the box over as he started to put the personal belongings inside of it. "I'm aware of how a switch works, babe." Vince's lips twitched into a small smirk. "This'll help because it also means I don't have to buy you one. We can play some multiplayer games together if you're up for it. Can't promise I'll go easy on you in them though." Vince glanced towards Charlotte to gauge her reaction before be glanced back down to put her things inside the box.

"How many books do you read for school, and how many do you read for pleasure?" Vince asked as he took in her collection of reading material as he slowly put things away.

"I imagine that they are much nicer than a college dorm as well with better food." Charlotte let out a little hum in thought. "Well, depending on who is cooking that is." She joked with him warmly. After having been in the house for a while, she had gotten used to the wild range of good to bad food at the house. It was wildly good if they picked it up from another place, disobeying Vincent in the process. Though it was hellishly bad when the wolves decided to cook for themselves. She glanced down at one of the sweaters, her thumb running over the sleeve for a moment. "Maybe I could offer to help cook again? I know they had said no last time but... well maybe they are growing tired of eating the burnt remains of food?"

Charlotte continued back to folding her clothes. She couldn't blame them from not trusting her cooking... but she felt like she was getting to the point with some of the pack members where maybe they trusted her just a little bit? Enough to make breakfast with someone watching nearby?

"Oh? So that means you won't mind me continuing to steal your sweatshirts then?" Charlotte said as she finished up packing her clothes. She headed over to his side of the dorm, her hand laying on his shoulder as she stood to the side of him. She put on a show of burying her face into the hood of one of his grey sweatshirts before pulling the hood over her head with a smile. "I rather like them, to be honest. Their warm and they smell so good. Whatever your scented detergent is, you should keep it."

Turning away from him, Charlotte started to grab all of her shower things. "Your shampoo though, I don't like." Her eyes lifted up to him as Vincent called her babe, a bit of a smirk on her face. "Oh, so I'm your babe now?" She said, teasing the man. "Well, I don't think you've earned that yet. But the games sound like fun but there is no reason to go easy on me, I bet I'll crush you."

As he asked about reading, she gave a bit of a shrug. "Most of them are for school. I do read a little bit for pleasure but I usually read them on my tablet. Well, that an audiobooks. I'll listen to a lot of audiobooks, and podcasts."

Listening to Charlotte talking about cooking again just went in one ear and then out the other. Now was not the time to talk to Charlotte about cooking. His gaze focusing on the things on his side of the room that he was putting away. "That's not my decision fully." Vince finally said after a couple of moments. "I don't care if you want to help me, but if it makes the others uncomfortable to have you help them. Then they're more than welcome to tell you no." Vince explained a she looked up towards Charlotte.

Blinking uncertainly as Charlotte walked towards him, Vince couldn't help the small smirk that slowly started to form on his lips. "Is it really stealing if you're living in the same house?" Vince asked as he let out a small chuckle at how cute Charlotte was being. He really wanted to lean forward and run his nose against hers. A wolf kiss of sorts if you will. "We use odorless, babe. I'm glad you think I smell good." He told her, his smirk growing as he watched her cute little act.

Then, it was like a blink of an eye. That cute moment was gone and down with. Charlotte's back was to him and Vince fought the urge to grab her arm and have him facing him once more. "Oh, I have to earn the right?" Vince asked, arching a brow. Also making a mental note to look into different shampoos to use. "I quite like the idea of calling you, babe," Vince said as he slowly moved towards Charlotte and acting upon his instinct as he reached out and lightly grabbed Charlotte's wrist and pulling her so that she could turn towards him.

Leaning down, Vince slowly pressed the side of his face into the upper part of Charlotte's and closed his eyes. Breathing in her own natural scent. Then, he slowly trailed his head down and pressed the side of his face to the side of her's. "I think I'm going to overrule you and take the rights." He told her, then pressed a quick peck to her cheek before releasing her and stepping back. He turned towards the rest of the room and looked it over. They got a nice bit of things packed it seemed. All that was really left was the bedding and some nicknacks that they could get another time.

"Ready to head out?" Vince asked as he reached down to take Charlotte's suitcase from her and then picked up the box. There was no way in hell he was going to allow her to carry anything.

A little sigh left Charlotte as Vincent reiterated the fact that it was up to the others to decide if they wanted her cooking again. It was fair, she knew that it was fair. In truth, if their cooking wasn't so bad, Charlotte wouldn't ask about it at all. She raised a hand up and brushed her hair out of her face. Maybe she should just cooking for herself. Hopefully Max wouldn't be offended when she didn't want to eat his food anymore... Though she was pretty sure he didn't like his cooking either. "Yeah..."

At Vincent's reveal that they used odorless detergent, Charlotte's face turned a light pink. How had she not found that out by now? Probably because she never needed to do the laundry yet, as she was always wearing Vincent's things, her clothes just went in with his. The young woman was quick to turn her head away from his view as she turned completely to do something else. "What makes you think it smells only like you and not the whole pack, hm? Or even the forest? You don't smell as strong as the forest." She mumbled to him, trying to explain away the idea that she thought he smelled good.

Though before she could even get over that embarrassment, Vincent was pulling on her arm, moving her to face him. Her lips opened a little in surprise and she looked up into his eyes. Her heart started to beat a bit faster as he leaned down and pressed the side of his face along the upper part of his. Warm tingles traveled down her face and down the back of her neck as he head trailed down her, pressed against her and whispered in her ear. As he pressed a kiss against her cheek, Charlotte could feel her face growing warmer - and she was sure red. So she was glad that when Vincent pulled away, he turned away from her to look at the rest of the room.

Charlotte covered her hot face quickly with the sleeves of his sweatshirt. Though after a moment, and a few breaths, Charlotte grabbed onto the hood of the sweatshirt and pulled it further down over her head, making it harder for him to see her face. And when Vincent asked if she was ready to head out, the young woman was just nodded before quickly heading out of the room. She was so flustered that she didn't even try to argue to carry a box or her suitcase.

A smug smirk slowly displayed along Vince's lips as he watched Charlotte through the corner of his eye. She was so cute when she was embarrassed. He's going to have to remember to keep bringing this moment up. It'd be a fun way to get a rise out of her when she wants to try and fight him about something. Remind her how she liked his scent or how she liked the kiss he had given her in her dorm room. How she blushed at such a light bit of contact.

Walking out of the room behind Charlotte, Vince sobered up a little bit. Getting himself back on guard since he didn't know if someone could have snuck past Max or something. He didn't know who lived in these other rooms. For all he knew, a hunter or something could be lurking in these halls as well. Breathing in a deep breath through his nose, Vince only relaxed when he smelled normal sweaty teens in the hallways surrounding them. "We'll plan another day next week or something to get the rest of your things," Vince said as he slowly shifted his gaze towards Charlotte once more. His features slowly softening when he saw she was still covered up in his hoodie.

Hearing a door in front of the opening, Vince raised his head. His lips pursing as he moved to the side, wanting to be at Charlotte's side in case someone came charging. Although, from the scent, Vince was able to quickly realize that it was a normal human as well. One who seemed to notice them as well as know Charlotte. "Charlie!" The girl said, seeming a bit excited to see the girl he was attracted to. "Where've you been girl? I was looking all over for you, why haven't you responded to my texts?" The girl asked, stopping in front of Charlotte and blocking their escape as well.

As Vincent mentioned coming back another day next week to grab the rest of her things, Charlotte nodded to him. She was still feeling a bit speechless after what happened and her Charlotte could feel her face still working on cooling off.

Though as a door opened in front of her, Charlotte stopped walking and looked up. That was when she saw Helen walking out of her door and heading up to her. The young woman lifted up the hood of the sweatshirt slightly so she could actually meet her eyes. A warm smile came over her face. "Helen!" Charlotte said excitedly as she moved forward, wrapping her arms around the girl into a close hug. In truth, it was really nice to see someone who wasn't a wolf. Someone who was a human and didn't have a weird attachment to her. "It's soooo good to see you!"

Charlotte slowly pulled back from the embrace. "Oh, you know. Things have gotten wildly busy with midterms and I ended up taking on a part time job that... well to be honest hasn't been very good at keep it 'part time.'" Charlotte lied to her with ease. Though she glanced back at Vincent, the fact that no one was responding to her texts coming to her mind. Weren't the wolves suppose to make sure that people didn't realize she was missing? It seemed like they weren't do a very good job. Hell, they should just give her her phone back!

Her eyes shifted back to Helen, offering a bit of an awkward smile. "Someone tried to hack into my account with the phone company and it's been Hell trying to resolve it and get my phone to start working again. They said that it should be fixed this weekend but I am a little worried that they'll have to get me a new number... Could you write yours down for me? I swear I'll message you the moment they fix it."

As the girls seemed to be having a moment together, Vincent took it upon himself to look away. Taking in the hallway that they were in, doing his best to not listen to the girls talk or try to but in. Sure, he wanted to make sure that Charlotte wasn't going to be asking for help from this strange girl, but he also wanted to offer her some privacy and trust. As he knew if he wanted her to trust him then he needed to trust her.

Although, when he felt her eyes on her, Vince couldn't help but look down and offer her a small smile. Doing his best to not seem like he was totally ignorant about what the girls had just been talking about.

"Ugh, don't even get me started on the upcoming midterms." The girl, Helen said as she slowly released Charlotte and rolled her eyes. "They're going to be a bitch to get through." The girl said and then offered a small smile before slowly frowning as she heard about the phone problems. "Ugh, I'm sorry about that girl," Helen said and then glanced towards Vincent. "I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get things fixed." Helen reached into her purse that was on her shoulder and started to dig around for a pen and paper.

"Hey, we should go out this weekend," Helen said as she pulled out a gum wrapper and a pen. "We can make it a double date." She said as she placed the wrapper on the wall and used it to keep things smooth as she wrote her number.

"At least they will be done soon enough and we can blow off school for a week or two to party." Charlotte said with a warm laugh. "And it'll be okay. I just want to have my phone back, you know? It sucks not being able to message anyone. And I can't even watch netflix in between classes anymore!"

The moment Helen mentioned a double date, her eyes lit up. "Yes, that would be fantastic!" Charlotte said with no hesitation. She didn't even want Vincent to have the chance to say no. The young woman was desperate to get out of the house, especially if it meant that she could spend time with another, normal human. To the point where she didn't care if it was a double date and Helen thought that Vincent was her boyfriend.

Charlotte lightly nudged Vincent, wanting to ensure that he had heard what just happened. "We would love to go out on a double date with you and your boyfriend.." Her eyes shifted up to look at Vincent. "It'll be fun and we're free on Saturday. Right... babe?" Charlotte said, her cheeks turning a bit pink at calling him babe but she was hoping it would help her convince him to not really think about it and say yes.

Was this supposed to be a subtle way for Charlotte to inform Vincent that she wanted her phone back? If so, he got it. He knew the pack was doing their best to keep her friends satisfied with their message, but he also wanted everyone vetted before messaging. The last thing he wanted was for them to accidentally message one of her old friends who were from that shit pack. Just thinking of accidentally messaging them pissed him off.

"Hm?" Vince mumbled as he blinked back into the conversation and looked down at Charlotte. His eyes narrowing slightly as he caught on to what was being said and it did not make Vincent very happy. Not in the least bit. "Sure?" Vince said, glancing between the girl names Helen and Charlotte. Arching a brow at Charlotte, wondering what the fuck he had just agreed to. "Whatever you want, babe," Vince added on, relaxing his expression as he offered her a small smirk. Plus, to add to making Charlotte feel uncomfortable, Vince leaned over and pressed a small kiss to her cheek.

As Vince stood up straight, Helen grinned at the pair. "Perfect!" Helen said as she passed the paper with her phone number on it to Charlotte. "We're free all Saturday, text me later with a time and place. Kay?" Helen said as she pulled out her phone and glanced at the time. "Shit, I gotta get to class." The girl said as she looked back towards Charlotte and moved to give the girl another quick hug. "It was awesome to finally get in contact, don't be a stranger alright?" Helen said as she pulled away, offered Vince a small wave, and then headed off towards the stairs to get to class.

"What did you just sign us up for?" Vince asked as soon as the girl was out of earshot. His eye shifting down towards Charlotte and narrowing in suspicion. He wasn't sure he was ready to go on a double date with a couple of humans.

Charlotte could not stop the pink from covering her face as Vincent pressed another kiss to her cheek. The young woman seemed to squirm a bit in her spot as she reached up, brushing her hand through her hair - but also trying to hide her face with the sleeve of the sweatshirt as she did so. "Okay," She said to Helen, taking the paper with her number on it. Charlotte was quick to hug her and say goodbye.

Once the woman was gone, Charlotte looked at Vincent with a bit of a guilty smile. "Well, I signed myself up for a night to see my good friend Helen, and to have some fun. Whether or not you decide to come is up to you. Though I am highly doubting that you're going to let me out of your sight, kidnapper."

With that, Charlotte turned and started to make her way through the dorms, heading to the car. She didn't really want to argue with Vincent about whether or not she could go out on Saturday, but she was sure that Vincent was going to have some things to say about it. In the least, it seemed better to argue about it in the car rather than in the middle of the dorms surrounded by others.

Plus, Charlotte was hoping that once she was in the car, the man would stop being so affectionate. She wasn't sure she could take anymore from him.
