Walking down the grand hall of his underworld palace, Hades scowled as he tugged on his tie. The blasted thing was quite annoying. Why the human males liked to wear them was way over Hade's head. The blasted thing was like it was choking him and he'd been wearing them since it came into a style all those years go. When the stupid things were first being created.

"Atticus!" Hades snapped as he tugged off the tie and tossed it behind himself. One of the servants would pick it up later and take it to get cleaned. "Atticus!" Hades yelled out once more and then scowled at the small creature as it scurried around the corner to fall a couple of steps behind his master. "I wish for you to prepare Persephone a new wardrobe. Get her things that are fit for a queen. I don't want anything frilly for her." Hades explained as he walked down the hall. Away from the room where he had his beloved sleeping. Hades finest soldiers had kidnapped the young beauty and brought her home to her husband and ruler.

"Yes, master," Atticus mumbled quietly and bowed respectfully to Hades. "Also, prepare some maids and servants. I don't want her to be alone when she wakes. She's been gone for ages, so her old staff would be best to help her cope with being home." Hades turned and headed towards his throne room. "Now go!" Hades murmured and brushed off the little beast as he pushed open the double doors and walked to his throne.

As the ruler of hell approached his throne, those who were in attendance all bowed down to him. Offering him words of respect as they greeted him. Reaching his throne, Hades sat down and motioned for one of his advisor's approach. To pass the time till his beloved wakes up, he'll take care of his royal duties.

As Rosemary started to come to, she raised a hand up to rub her face. She felt groggy and a bit out of it before she even woke. Though as she moved against the bed, the young woman swore she heard the soft pitter patter of feet running against the floor. She took in a deep breath as her eyes slowly fluttered open. But once they were, confusion entered into her quickly. These dark bedsheets were not hers. Her eyes shifted up slowly, suddenly seeing that she was definitely not in her own room. This was not a room she had ever seen before.

The young woman sat up suddenly in the bed, though as she did so, dizziness was quick to overcome her. Rosemary laid a hand against the side of her head as the soft pitter patter of feet were quick to return towards her.

"You are awake!" A warm, welcoming voice filled the room. When she turned to look at her, the strange woman curtsied lowly in Rosemary's direction. "It is a true pleasure to see you again, your majesty. Though, please, do not get up too fast, you'll get dizzy." The woman, who was an older river nymph, came over and slowly assisted Rosemary back down against the pillows so she was sitting up but relaxed.

"Where am I?" Rosemary asked the strange woman tiredly. Before she was able to answer, another walked into the room though she looked much different than the first. The second woman, came in with a tray of tea and set it down on Rosemary's lap. "Am I dreaming?" Rosemary mumbled to herself as she looked down at her hand for a moment.

"No, of course not your majesty. It will just take you some time to adjust. Please, drink. It'll help make you feel much better." The older woman said before whispering to the one who just came in to let the King know that his Queen had awoken. Once the other woman ran out of the room, the river nymph came forward and poured the tea for Persephone.

"Now, have a cup. A special visitor is coming,:

Resting back in his throne, one leg over the other. Hades stared boredly down at the little fae as he begged to be reunited with his beloved, that his moment of anger was not how he usually was. Yet, the man didn't know that Hades knew all and that the fits of anger and rage-filled the man like a tar. Coating his soul in darkness and oozed from his pores. A snort escaped from the high god as he waved his hand. Dismissing the poor soul and condemning him to the river Styx where he would be taken deeper into hell to roam for all of eternity.

The door to the throne room opening caught Hade's attention. It had been a couple of hours since his Persephone was brought home and no one had entered through the main doors since he had earlier. Watching the nymph moving towards him on her shorter legs caused Hades to sit up a little bit straighter. His eyes narrowing ever so slightly as he took in her quick movements. "Speak." He ordered once the girl curtsied towards him and opened her mouth to ask what he had just commanded of her. "Her Majesty has awoken." The Nymph barely got out before Hades was standing up from his throne and walking towards the large doors. He cared little that he was seeming like a love-struck fool rushing to his lover. It's been centuries since he'd last laid eyes on his wife and by gods above, he wanted to see her. NOW.

Moving through the halls, the servants moved aside for the ruler of hell. The Demons, Nymph's, Far, and everything in between all moved out of his way and bowed. The ruler of the underworld was on a quest and nothing was going to stop him. Not even an advisor who wanted to inform him of sometihng that he cared little for.

Upon reaching Persephone's temporary room's door, Hades grabbed onto the handle and was all but ready to fling the door open and storm into the bedroom. He didn't though. No, he held in his wrath and need to see his long lost wife. She would be quite pissed off at him for storming in like a mad man. So, taking in a deep breath. Hades closed his eyes and held them, doing his best to calm himself down before slowly opening his eyes and exhaling. Then, he raised his free hand and knocked. He knocked, the ruler of the underworld freaking knocked before entering a room. Anyone else, and Hades would have just barged in, This was his home, his kingdom. Yet, for his beloved Persephone, he calmed himself and knocked.

Slowly stepping into the room, the ruler of the underworld looked straight towards the bed where he had left her. Hades took in the young human version of his beloved. Her essence was gone but she still looked ravishing. "My love, you are awake," Hades spoke quietly, his gaze shifting towards the older nymph who was tending to his wife. "Leave us." He ordered as he walked more into the room. Heading towards the window that looked out into the garden that Persephone had loved so much. Only once the two were alone did Hades dare turn to look towards the woman once more. "How do you feel?" He asked, dark eyes boring into hers as he waited patiently for her to respond to him. An in doing so, Hades got his reading of the mortal version of his wife. Sweet and king, a little bit naive. She was one and the same.

"Do you know where you are? My love?"

The young mortal woman tried to poke and prode the strange maid with questions. Like where she was, who was coming and how did she get here. Though the older woman expertly avoided answering anything at all while managing to almost drown poor Rosemary with tea with her insistence to drink it. At least Rosemary had to give her the credit that she felt somewhat better after having a full cup.

As the woman was pouring her a second, there was a knock on the door. The strange looking lady turned back for a moment before quickly leaning forward to fiddle with Persephone's hair to lay it just right. However, when another stranger walked into the room, she was quick to turn and bow lowly before quickly. The woman was quickly dismissed and she did so, heading off into the hallway, closing the door firmly behind her.

This left Rosemary with a different stranger, this time an extremely handsome looking man. But something about him seemed a little... abnormal? Not in a bad way but she couldn't pin down what made him almost sub-human.

"Hello?" Rosemary spoke gently as her eyes shifted over him. Who was this man and why was he calling her his love? She had to figure tjat he was, in the least, the man of the house based on how that other woman reacted when he came in but... maybe not. The strange lady had also foolishly bowed to her. "I feel.... I'm sorry, I am just a bit confused. What is going on?"

Her eyes lifted up to meet the stranger's glaze. There was no recognition behind them or any kind of remembrance. Just the look of a lost, confused woman. "No, I haven't a clue. Where am I? Who are you?"

Listening to the human version of his Persephone caused the underworld lord's lips to purse into a thin line. This was the worst-case scenario, This was what he was hoping wouldn't happen. Curse that damn fool for causing this mess, for taking his beloved away from him and wiping her memories of her life. Of him, of them. A small unpleased hum escaped from Hades as he clasped his hands together behind his back as he kept his gaze upon the mortal. How was one to break the news to a mortal that they're a resurrected goddess that's been cursed? Lying usually got him in trouble with his love in the past, so. Surely being truthful wouldn't be horrible. Right?

"Finish that cup of tea first, love and then we'll speak," Hades said in a calm tone. His gaze finally leaving the mortals as he walked over to the vanity that was in the room and grabbed the stool. Hades carried the flimsy thing to the side of Persephone's sickbed and sat down at the side. Not too close as to scare the young woman, but close enough to where he could still keep his calm tone and she'd be able to hear it. Not a peep escaped from Hades as he waited for the human girl to finish her tea. A small smile slowly playing upon his lips as she finally did as she asked of him.

Reaching forward, Hades slowly took the newly empty glass from Persephone's hand and set it onto the nightstand. "You don't remember anything at all?" Hades spoke, sitting up straight he crossed his arms loosely over his chest. Thinking about what he wanted to say next, how to explain that she was his wife. A couple of moments of silence slowly passed between the two of them before a sigh escaped from Hades. He couldn't waste any more time. "I'm Hades, the god of the underworld." He paused to let her ponder his words for a moment. "And you are my wife, Persephone. The goddess of spring."

After the new introductions were over, Hades started to go into detail about where she was and how she had arrived here. He even explained to her about how a titan got mad at Hades over a wager and decided to curse Persephone. To cause him as much pain as possible, to cause the world to go into havoc because of their lost goddess.

Rosemary glanced down at the tea that the man told her to finish. She wondered what the obsession with the tea was coming from with both this man and the older woman who had been in here earlier. Part of her wanted to refuse his request, to urge him to tell her what was going on. After all, she was in a strange place with strange people. Surely the explanation was more important than her need to hydrate. Though, Rosemary remembered that the last cup made her feel better, so surely that would increase with the second cup. Plus, perhaps, the man needed a moment to figure out what to say.

So, Rosemary picked up the cup and took small sips until it was gone. At which point, the man took the cup from her hand. "No, nothing." The young woman said, uncertainly coming through in her voice. Was she meant to remember something? This place and the man were all unfamiliar to her. Though perhaps she was in an accident? Maybe that was what she was meant to remember. The longer he took to speak, the more Rosemary started to lean in, wanting to hear what he was to say. His first words caused her face to completely drop and then followed her heart as he continued to explain.

At first, the young woman thought she had died or something. Though when the man explained more and more about their situation, her eyes started to narrow in disbelief. Slowly, she glanced around the room, noting that it really didn't look different from any other room. And finally, her eyes landed on the man before her. Admittedly, Rosemary had noted that there was something slightly abnormal about man when he walked in. But he wasn't so odd that she thought he was a god.

When the man who called himself Hades finished speaking, Rosemary shifted in the bed. She wasn't sure what to say. This seemed like the ramblings of a unstable person. "Do you really expect me to believe that?" Rosemary asked him as she pushed the blankets off of her and got out of the bed. For a moment, she glanced down at herself to see she was wearing her pajamas. Just what in the world happened? Did this man really kidnap her from her bed? Well, either way, it was clear she needed to get out of there and speak to someone else. Maybe someone who knew what was really going on. With that thought in mind, she started heading towards the door.

A tired sigh escaped from Hades as he crossed his arms over his chest and sat up a bit straighter as he looked at the mortal version of his Persephone. "No." Was his simple answer for what she expected him to think of her remembering. He didn't expect anything, he expected for her to act like she was. Scared, and confused. It was a completely understandable thing for someone in her situation to feel. She's going to want answers and he's going to give them to her to the best of his ability. He'll be patient with her, just like when he first kidnapped her all those years ago when she was but a girl who played in the fields of Rome.

Staying put in his seat, Hades watched silently as Persephone moved towards the door. Her bare feet pattering quieter than how he remembered or would care to anyway. The word, Fragile flashed through the underworld's ruler's mind. This girl was human through and through. Shit, fuck, and damn. What was he going to do with her? He brought her home, hoping that a quick refresher would be all that she'd need but knowing that it wouldn't be. Hope was such a foolish thing to have. He was the ruler of heath, he freaking ruined people's hope. He destroyed it and yet. He had that pesky feeling when he first saw Persephone when he got word she was alive.

Slowly standing up, Hades calmly moved to walk behind his beloved. Reaching out, he pressed a hand to the door. Effectively closing it before the young woman could fully open the thing. "I don't mind amusing you and allowing for you to wander the halls, but I will NOT allow for the servants to see you in your sleepwear," Hades spoke, his tone authoritative and stern. His eyes set hard as he left no room for the girl to argue with him. Reaching out with his free hand, Hades slowly turned the girl to face her closet that was on the side of the room. Across from her bed, and next to the private bathroom she'd be allowed to have til she remembered him. "Dress in something more appropriate and then we can go out." His words were final as Hades pressed his back to the door and crossed his arms once more. Waiting for the human girl to either cave in or to throw a childish tantrum.

The moment the man laid his hand against her shoulder, Rosemary recoiled from his touch. She didn't know him. Didn't know what was wrong with him. Didn't know what he really wanted from her. But she didn't like how sternly he was suddenly speaking. Nor the fact that he thought he had some right to order her around. "Don't touch me." She told him, trying to get her voice as stern has his had been. The woman turned so that she was facing the man who called himself Hades, noticing how he was now blocking her exit out.

Her eyes shifted over to the window for a moment, thinking that she might be better off just jumping out of it and running off but... Well although she didn't like what he was doing, the man's request wasn't ridiculous. He wanted her to change clothes, that was all. That was something that she could do. "Fine."

With that, Rosemary disappeared into the closet. She wasn't quite sure what she had been expecting but certainly not what she was seeing. The closet was much larger than she had expected it to be. But, besides that, it was filled with mostly dresses but other clothes that were so strange. A portion of it was from the last decade but why were their outfits that seemed hundreds of centuries old? Her fingers held onto one powdery blue and blue gown that Rosemary would swear was from the renaissance. But she eventually released it and turned to the clothes she was familiar with. Although Rosemary couldn't find anything too casual to wear, she landed on an outfit and quickly got dressed in the bathroom before coming out.

"Is this satisfactory?" Rosemary asked as she motioned to her outfit.

It took everything inside of Hades to not react as the mortal version of his beloved Persephone snapped at him. In any other case, he would have set the wenches on fire and watch them burn a thousand times before letting them accept their fate that he'd bestow upon them. So, having to rain in his temper, was new for Hades. He could feel himself burning to punish her, to show her that he was not to be messed with, and yet. He can't. She was his beloved, rather she is human or not. She was, reincarnated.

Thankfully, the woman didn't put up much of a fight when she gave in and went to go and change. A small sigh escaping from the lord of the underworld only once he was certain that the mortal woman was out of earshot of the annoyed lord. Otherwise, he was almost certain that she'd rip him a new one. Or worst, he'd end up doing who knows what to her in retribution.

When the mortal version of Persephone stepped from the closet, Hades allowed himself to give the girl a once over. She looked so human in those clothes, it bothered him. Yet, he couldn't find himself arguing and decided to just offer her a small nod before turning slightly to grab the door handle. "Just don't be surprised if you see some terrifying things," Hades murmured quietly as he opened the door for the mortal woman. Outside of this bedroom was hell, the underworld, the place where Hades ruled with an iron fist. Outside of this room was where the spell of mostly normal human things was lifted. Monsters roamed the walls outside of the castle. Demons and strange beasts roamed inside, serving him and his beloved. Flame lit candles covered the walls and brought light to the halls that were made of stone, offering a small haunted feeling to it all.

"I'll be right behind you," Hades said calmly as he motioned for Persephone to move ahead of him. To explore to her heart's content.

There was some relief in her when the man agreed that she could head out. Part of her wanted to roll her eyes at his little comment though. 'Terrifying things'. There was something wrong with this man, there was no doubt about that. But now that they were out of the bedroom, Rosemary would be able to find someone who was sane and could tell her where she was, and how she had gotten here. After all, the man's story made no sense. At this point, Rosemary could only assume she was part of some accident... Well, she hoped it was an accident and not a kidnapping like the stranger had said.

Though the moment she had stepped out of the bedroom, any hope for understanding had been broken. She had been so confident in her first few steps out only to be brought to a stop. The woman's eyes widen, taking in the strangeness of the area. There were lit candles but yet, somehow, the place still seemed so dark. The home - no, even from inside she could tell it was a castle - gave off an ominous feeling but demanded respect. It took her breath away for a moment, but not in a good way.

Now, she was walking slowly as concern was now seeping into her chest. What was this place? The hallway they were in was quiet. But a single turn out of this area quickly changed that. Strange beasts were suddenly in front of her, walking down the hallway. Rosemary stumbled back, running into Hades as she did so. They quickly noticed the both of them, and the three of them bowed lowly to them both.

The Queen's eyes were as wide as saucers as she looked down at one man who stepped forward. He was half goat- half man and she could not stop staring at his strange legs. "Your majesties." The man said smoothly before looking to Persephone. "My Queen, it is truly a pleasure to see you back in the castle. We have awaited your return for so long."

Rosemary felt her heart seizing and her mouth opened for a moment before closing again, unable to find any words to say to this strange creature that was calling her a Queen. Instead, she stepped around the three and headed right towards the nearest window. Her hands pressing against the glass as she looked out into this strange new world. This was not earth. Strange balls of light roamed along the ground and the air. From this angle, she could see two strange rivers that seemed to separate sections of the land.

"Fuck me." Rosemary whispered under her breath.

As Persephone ventured out of her temporary bedroom, Hades kept a couple of steps behind her. Giving her the space that she seemed to demand at the moment. His dark eyes lifted as he watched where she was going. Making sure she didn't stumble into anyone or thing, that he'd deem to terrifying. Surely, her mortal heart could stop if she got too frightened of something. Right?

When they reached the staircase that connected the second floor with the third, Hades stopped walking. He could hear some of his men coming down the stairs but wanted to see what Persephone was to do. An what she did, did not surprise him in the least bit. Pulling his lips back into a thin line. Hades gave the men nothing but a curt nod to show he had heard them as he kept his haze on Persephone. "Tell everyone that the Queen is still unwell and to give her space," Hades spoke smoothly to the half-goat man as he moved to walk past him. Not caring if the man agreed or not. The fact that Persephone was terrified was all that mattered right now.

"Not in the open." Was Hade's attempt at a mortal joke. His tone monotone as he looked down towards Persephone through the corner of his eyes before looking through the window as well. He could see his reflection reflecting back towards him. His hands moved into his pockets as he took in his towering frame. Was Persephone always so much smaller than he was? A small sigh escaped from Hades as he slowly lowered his gaze to look down at the human who had come into his grasp not but a couple of hours ago.

"Do not fear what you see, girl," Hades said calmly as he slowly pulled a hand out of his pocket and placed it gently upon the girl's shoulder. "I will not let anything hurt you. All the beings here will bow to you."

At Hades' little joke, Rosemary's fingers pressed harder against the glass of the window. She could feel herself begin to spiral. What was she going to do? Was this all really happening or was this some kind of fever dream?

Feeling the man's hand on her shoulder caused her to jolt for a moment. Everything felt so real, this couldn't be some kind of dream. But how? How could this really be happening? How could the underworld really exist and its God within it as well? "I-" Rosemary choked back, not wanting to continue on. How could she not be afraid? This world was so strange and eerie. And it's residents had brought shivers down her spine. Why would any of them listen to some human like her?

Slowly, the young woman turned around and looked up at the man. She had thought from the beginning that he seemed a little off. And now she knew why. He really was Hades. Really was a God. And, for some reason, he thought that she was as well. Or rather that her soul had been.

"I want to go home." Rosemary finally spoke. She was on the verge of tears but she was doing her best to hold them back. The woman also wanted to yell at the man for, apparently, having kidnapped her and bringing her into literal Hell. But what good would it do to yell at a God? "I don't belong here. Take me home, Hades. I want to go home."

When the young human turned towards him, the last thing that Hades expected to see were tears. His eyes narrowed for a moment before softening. This was like the time they had just met. When he really did kidnap her from the earth when she was but a naive newly formed goddess. Her mother had upset him and so, he kidnapped her out of revenge and spite. Yet, somehow, they managed to fall in love and just like last time. He convinced her to take something from his realm to solidify her being here. To feel connected to this place. The tea will hold her to him, at least until Persephone remembers.

"Come, you should rest," Hades said calmly as he removed his hand from her shoulder and slowly moved to wrap it loosely around the mortal's waist. "There are some things that I cannot do, my love, and sending you back to the human realm is one. You are no mortal, it's not safe anymore for you." Hades said quietly as he looked down at the human girl. She was quite pretty for a mortal. If he manages to find out how to bring her grace back, then he should be able to hopefully bring about her full beauty once more. Hopefully soon, because caring for a mortal was something that was new to him.

Pausing at the crossroad that spooked Persephone Hades got a small idea. "Come, this way," Hades murmured, not really giving Persephone a chance to retaliate as he turned them towards a set of stairs that led them down to the first floor. The lord of the underworld muttered some sort of words under his breath and a small breeze seemed to filter through the air before settling once more. Finally, Hades and his mortal queen arrived at a set of beautiful french doors that opened automatically for them. Although really it was with a swish of Hade's fingers he wasn't going to brag about that to Persephone.

Stepping through the doors revealed a beautiful garden. Filled with multiple different flowers, trees, and bushes. A small table with two chairs sat in the middle, under a blooming cherry blossom tree. "You need to rest and regain your energy. So lunch outside should help." Hades said as he brought his queen towards the table that had a tier of multiple finger sandwiches and treats that you'd see from the eighteen hundreds.
Letting the human go, Hades moved to pull out one of the chairs and motioned for Persephone to sit down. Then, he'd push the chair in for her if she so chose to.

As the man wrapped an arm around her waist, Rosemary was a bit hesitant. At first, she was tense, unsure if she was going to go in with it or step back. But, after a moment, Rosemary moved in with it and started to follow where he led her. At this point, she could not help but feel a little lost. This whole scenario was insane, one that Rosemary couldn't even have imagined being in. But here she was, being told she was a Queen, a goddess. Having the Hades telling her all of this and being by her side. Perhaps it would be best to let go and cry. Or to yell at the man and stomp her feet until he agreed to take her back to earth, to her normal life. Or... perhaps it made sense to just go along with all of it? Rosemary raised a hand up and rubbed her head, beginning to feel a pounding in her head.

"How are there things that you can't do?" Rosemary said as she looked up at him. "If you really wanted to, you could bring me back. I was safe. I was doing just fine before you brought me here. I... I don't know what you want from me or what you want me to do. None of this makes any sense."

Feeling a few tears begin to run down her cheeks, Rosemary lifted her hand up and wiped them away quickly. She didn't really want to cry. At least not right now, in front of him while they were wandering the halls. And she continued to follow him down the halls, thinking that the man was going to bring her back to her room to rest. So she was a little surprised when they were suddenly in front of some french doors that opened for them.

Stepping out into the garden, Rosemary lifted her head up and looked around, taking in the beauty of the place she was suddenly in. The woman took in a deep breath, trying her best to calm down. It didn't seem like a good idea to panic, so she was trying her best to keep it together, despite the fact that none of this really felt real to her.

Once again, she hesitated as Hades pulled out a chair for her, but, slowly, she came over and sat down. Her eyes wandered around the garden again, staring longingly at the cherry blossom tree before looking over at the food that was now in front of her. It looked delicious and like something that the young woman would hear about in some kind of fairytale or tv show about royals during some time period. But her hands stayed in her lap and her eyes lifted up to meet his once again. "This is not some kind of trick is it?" Rosemary asked him. "Like in that myth where... where you gave Persephone the pomegranate so she had to stay?"

Ignoring the whining of the human across from him. Hades waved his fingers slightly and had the tea kettle that was on the table levitate and then poured some tea for Persephone before having some of the food that was on the table move onto her plate. She could whine all she wanted. Rather Hades answered was up to him. He was the ruler here, he could answer what he wanted. Except well, this was his wife in mortal form.

"A god can not simply interfere with another's curse." Was Hade's simple answer as he looked across the table towards Persephone. Reaching out, Hades took a small sip of his own tea before resting the cup back on the saucer and listening to the small clink it made against the ceramic. "Why would I trick you? I haven't lied to you or done anything to you. I don't need to." Hades said boredly as he looked up towards Persephone.

Reaching out, Hades grabbed his tea once more and took another sip. "Please, eat. Relax." Hades said as he closed his eyes and enjoyed his tea. "This garden was once your favorite place. It was the first place you created when you were practicing your powers." Hades said as he lowered his cup. "It used to be a barren wasteland, nothing could have grown here, but now. Its soil is rich and we can grow anything here." Hades looked at Persephone and offered a rare smile of his. "I know you don't believe me on you being a goddess, but you are. It's in here where you're powers are locked away." Hades raised his hand and motioned towards his heart. "You just need to accept it."

"That is not entirely true is it?" Rosemary mumbled to him. "You had me kidnapped and brought here. You didn't have to do that, you could have left me be. I was happy with my life.... Maybe it was a little mundane at times but." Rosemary's lips closed, not wanting to continue on. It was clear why he kidnapped her. The man missed his wife, and apparently, she was his wife.

For a moment, she watched the man drink his tea before looking at what was in front of her. It was not that she wasn't thirsty or hungry, because she was. Just that Rosemary did not know if she was getting played for the fool. And, if she was, even though she had asked him honestly, what did the man get for telling the truth? He wanted her down there with him and Rosemary wasn't sure that he cared what it took to do it.

"I do like the garden." Rosemary admitted to him before she looked back at it. Once again, her eyes found its way to the cheery blossoms. It was odd but she could feel the tree calling to her in a way, just welcoming her to come lay down in the shade of the tree. To allow herself to get covered in the flowers that fell off the tree. "To be honest, I would like to lay down in the grass in here."

Rosemary lifted her hand over her heart as he mentioned that was where her powers were. "What if you have the wrong girl. What if I am not Persephone?"

A small hum escaped from Hades as he listened to Persephone. Taking her words into account as she tried to show her point of view. "You're right, I did kidnap you. If you want to call it that." Hades said quietly, not denying what she was saying. Because it was the truth, he had kidnapped her, he had taken her against her will in her sleep and dragged her down to a terrifying place. To a place where people's nightmares often came to life over and over again. Where time could be made to stand still or keep moving if Hades so chose.

"I don't have the wrong girl, you're my Persephone," Hades said quietly as he looked up towards the cherry blossom tree that was slowly losing more of its pretty petals than usual because it's life-giver had been missing for years. "I can feel your soul, love. I can feel it in your heart. You've been reincarnated, you might not remember, but you are in fact, my goddess. The goddess of spring and vegetation." A small smile slowly displayed along the god's lips as he remembered her title when she was first created. It was such a shame many are forgetting her as the years go on.

"Eat something, then you can take a name under the tree," Hades said as he motioned with his head for her to reach out to grab one of the things that were on her plate. "It's not easy to regain powers, so you're going to need all of the energy you can get. We'll be starting your training tomorrow." Hades explained to her. "Today is for settling in, so if you want to nap out here under the tree then be my guest and do so," Hades said as he took a bite of a small cookie that was on the tier thing of treats.

The young woman shifted a bit uncomfortably in her chair. She wasn't quite sure what to do in this strange situation. The God seemed so insistent that she was his Persephone. The idea didn't sit right in her chest but... with everything that was happening, with this strange world that the woman had found herself in, maybe he was right? So what did that mean? In his eyes, it meant that she had to stay down here with him, to both remember and learn her powers. Hades wanted his wife back at his side. But that didn't mean that was what she wanted. Could she even leave if she wanted to?

In the least, Hades was actually being rather kind to her. She found his words to her gentle, which Rosemary did appreciate as she felt completely out of her depth. At the same time, Hades was pushy and Rosemary was beginning to believe that he would be rigid in his decision. Would he be like this for everything or just the matter of her staying here?

Her eyes glanced down at the tier of treats before she looked back at him. "I don't want to eat." Rosemary lied to him. The treats looked delicious, how could she not want to take a bite? But this was her way to deny something he wanted her to do. She was just trying to poke him, to see what kind of reaction she would get from this strange man.

Standing up from her chair, Rosemary looked back at the tree. It was strange, but in a way, she could feel it calling to her. "I do want to lay down though."

It was not in Persephone's best interest to skip a meal. She needed all of the strength that she could store. Especially since she was now mortal and her powers were sure to tire her out more than they used to. Although, being as this is the first time she's been back in centuries, Hades was willing to try and accommodate his beloved.

"Very well then," Hades murmured as he swallowed his bite of cookie. He raised his right hand and motioned towards the tree. "You may go lay down, but once you wake up. I'd like for you to eat something." Hades said calmly as he leaned back in his seat and finished the sweet that he had been snacking on. Then, the ruler of hell raised his right hand once more and snapped his fingers. A book suddenly appearing upon the table to his left, appearing as if it was there the whole time but invisible. "I'll read while you rest," Hades told her calmly, picking up his book to start reading where he had left off a couple of days ago.

Sitting back in his chair, Hades let out a small sigh. His eyes focused on the book that was in front of him, but his senses were focused on Persephone. He wasn't going to allow her to have a chance to escape and cause trouble. She was too naive to wonder about this realm on her own. She may be the queen, but she was still a mortal and was lacking in her powers. All it'd take is for one demon to find out that Persephone didn't know her powers for shit to start hitting the fan.

So to also be on the safe side, Hades is going to have to constantly keep the girl in his sights. Or, he'd have to have one of his soul bound servants protect her at all times. The last thing that Hades needs is to lose his wife once more. Especially since he just got her back.
