To her the fall felt like it lasted forever. To the point where it gave Aurora time to think. She had never realized that Heaven could be so cruel to one of its inhabitants... Being ripped of her wings had been bad enough but some of them had beaten her before pushing her down over the edge. Aurora couldn't even understand what had happened. How did they get it so wrong? Weren't they the ones who always found out the truth? The real truth? So how was it that they thought she had done all of those horrid things?

Aurora could not mull on that question in time before she hit the ground. It completely unlike the soft landing the woman would normally get from being in the sky. No, instead her whole body slammed into the hard concrete, causing her to cry out in horrible pain. She could even feel the ground crack under her from the impact. It was lucky that Aurora was still immortal. A fall like that to any other creature would have killed it... but no. She was almost as close to death as her form could be without going unconscious. And sometimes that could last for years.

It took a moment before she could even get her eyes to open. Every muscle in her body seemed to ache but nothing compared to the searing pain that covered her own back. Slowly, she looked around, trying to get an idea of where she was, if she was safe. So many horror stories had been told about Earth. How was Aurora going to protect herself in this condition? It seemed, for now, she was hidden in some alleyway, with the trash. How fitting they probably thought it would be to put her amongst the garbage. But, at least here, it meant not everyone was going to come across her.

Aurora tried to take in a deep breath, but instantly regretted it if she felt her ribs crack. A whimper left her and Aurora's fingers curled up against the ground as she tried to wait the pain out. How many days would she have to stay here before her body healed itself? In this condition, it would take time without food and water. But at least, at some point, Aurora would be able to get onto her own feet.

The sound of metal rattling as a train moves along the railing overhead was drowned out as Milo's earbuds blasted his band's demo. Doing his best to determine if it'd be good enough to give out at their next concert at a club they've played at once before. It was a big first step, and he wanted to make sure that the band gave their best. All of the guys were filled with so much passion, and pride in what they were doing. They were gonna go places, Milo was sure of that. They had a growing fan base and on Facebook, they even had a couple of thousand followers. Which, was pretty good for a band that's been together for only a couple of months.

Then, for just a moment. A flicker of light caught Milo's attention. It startled him enough that he actually paused his music as well and just in time because a cry of pain echoed to his ears. The sound chilling him to the bone, because it sounded like someone was on the verge of dying or something. Looking around nervously, Milo slowly took out his earbuds and put them back into his pocket. No one was around on the dark street, so if something went wrong he was going to be so screwed. Licking his lips nervously, Milo slowly started to head down the dark alley to see what or rather who had cried out in pain.

As his eyes landed on the young girl laying on the ground, in what looked like a small human-shaped crater. Milo's heart slowly dropped. "Holy shit," Milo murmured as he ran towards the young girl and then kneeled down next to her. He reached out and pressed two fingers to where he remembered learning the pulse point was and waited. "Don't worry, I'm going to call an ambulance. You're going to be okay." Milo said as he felt the girl's pulse, it was faint, but it was still there. Pulling out his phone, the young man's shaky hands did their best to hold still as he tried to call for help.

The woman's eyes fluttered open as she felt two fingers getting pressed against her neck. It was startling to suddenly have someone on top of her. Even more so since she was on earth. This was a horrifying place where people did awful things. Was he only going to hurt her more? Though the man's words started to get through to Aurora and she realized he was trying to help... Just not in the way she would want.

"No," Aurora gasped out to him. The woman slowly lifted her hand up as high as she could. Though she realized all she could grab was his pant leg. Heavens they had wrecked her. "Don't call," Aurora told him as she started to cough. Some blood splattered onto the ground from her lips. But she started to furiously shake her head no at him with all of the energy that she had. This man could not get someone else. Especially not a doctor. Too many things would come up if she submitted in and she didn't need those kinds of questions.

"Please, no," Aurora whimpered out to him. Her hand dropped down from where it was holding onto his pants. The woman pressed both of her hands down onto the ground, trying her hardest to get herself up. Although she already knew she was pushing herself too hard, Aurora was hoping if she could walk out of the alley, the stranger would not call for help. Perhaps he would just leave her alone. But she wasn't even able to get her torso off of the ground before going limp against the concrete.

It felt like Milo's heart nearly leaped out of his chest when he heard the girl on the ground speak. He jumbled with his phone as he tried to not drop it as well as her voice had caused his grip on the thing to become weird. What the hell was going on. A person in this girl's predicament could definitely not speak. Hell, it looked like she was thrown from one of the skyscrapers nearby or something. Judging by the indent she made in the ground though, she could have easily jumped from a plane as well. Both options blew his mind, but who was Milo to say anything? He wasn't in the medical field, just watched too many medical shows.

"Then what the hell do you want me to do?" Milo asked, his tone coming out a little rude on accident. He didn't mean to seem rude, but this really was something that a medical person would be better at handling. He was just a singer and guitarist in a band, he had no degree. Hell, he paid his bills by teaching disabled kids how to play music. He was in no way up for the challenge of helping someone in this state.

Looking down at the girl once more, Milo silently cursed under his breath. "Shit," Milo murmured as he ran a hand through his hair. Turning to look down the alley towards the way he had just come, not a soul passed by. No one he could ask to help him with this injured girl. He felt bad for her, she needed help but clearly, she didn't want anything to do with the authorities.
A tired sigh escaped from Milo, his eyes closing as he slowly shook his head. "Why do I have to be so damn nice?" He mumbled to himself as he bent down and slowly picked up the unconscious girl. Then, he proceeded to bring her back to his small apartment where he could try and help her.

It was about two hours later before Aurora woke up from her unconscious state. The first thing that she noticed that what she was laying on was not as hard as the concrete that she had previously been laying on. Instead, her face was pressed against something warm and soft. Her fingers slowly shifted, noticing that everything had a gentle touch to it. With her weaken state, it had taken some time for Aurora to be able to open her eyes. She was just lucky that she had not slept for centuries like some angels did when hurt badly... While she had no idea how long she was out for, Aurora could at least tell that much time had not passed.

As she tried to reach her hand up to brush the hair out of her eyes, a heavy groan left her small frame. It was hard not to. The pain she was in was immense and there was so much her body could do to heal. This was something that would not be resolved in an instant. Though as she brushed the hair out of her face, Aurora noticed the color of her dress. Instead of it's pure white color, it had been darkened to grey.. it seemed that her 'executioners' had been unable to help themselves in the desire to strip all of her angelic-ness.

A little sigh left the woman as she allowed her eyes to just close for a moment. Though it was not time to head back to sleep. She needed to know where she was, and who was caring for her. "Hello?" Aurora called out, her voice rough in her throat. It normally didn't sound like that. How much did this stranger know? Had he noticed the wounds on her back yet? She feared the possibility of a human knowing the truth.

Last night was like a night in a weird movie. Milo had managed to get the strange girl into his apartment, occupied by a couple of odd looks from his elderly neighbors who were also on their way home. Setting the girl up in his old roommate's bedroom seemed to the easiest thing to do, as there was already a bedroom in there. Plus, being the gentleman that he was Milo didn't dare try to strip the girl so she'd sleep easier. Instead, he left her in that weird dress and just laid her down to rest.

That was last night. Now, it was nine in the morning and the weekend. Meaning that Milo had two days off. Which, he gladly took as his chance to practice his guitar and work on songs. Which was what he was doing. Strumming lightly, letting the music come to him as he sang quietly. Letting his muse flow through him and carry it to places he couldn't see. Then, he'd jot down notes in his messy notebook. Not wanting things to be missed in case he wanted to actually use them when he actually played in front of people.

Then, a small voice caught his attention and Milo stopped his movements. His eyes shifting around for a moment as he wondered if he had just heard a voice or if he was imagining things. Slowly, Milo ran his tongue over his lips. He waited for a moment more before he slowly set his guitar down on the couch and headed towards the bedroom where he had placed the girl from last night. His bare feet making barely any sound as he walked. Raising his right hand, Milo knocked lightly before stepping into the bedroom. The sunlight coming in through the window across the bedroom shined over his grey plain t-shirt and black sweatpants as he stood in the doorway.

"You awake?" Milo asked quietly, his eyes looking over the young lady that was in the bed. She looked much younger than she did the other day. Maybe around his age or a few years younger. "How do you feel?" He asked, and took a slow step into the room in case the woman's voice was too quiet to hear from the doorway. "I have some pain meds in the bathroom I could grab, so you want any?"

As a man walked into the room, Aurora glanced back and slowly looked him over. She couldn't remember if this was the same person who had found her in the ally or if it was someone else. It had been too difficult to really notice the features of the person trying to help her when she was too busy focusing on the pain and trying to stop them from calling a physician. At least, it seemed that it worked. This certainly did not look like one of the practices she remembered.

"Yes, I am." Aurora responded to him softly. Her head tilted slightly to the side as she really started to take in the room around her. Why did it look so strange? She supposed it had been some years since her last trip to Earth... In truth, Aurora did not like to frequent with all of the stories that she was told about the plant. It just seemed too unsafe, even when she had all of her powers. Now she had been cut down, how was the woman expected to protect herself? Perhaps she was not.

"I feel terrible." The woman responded to him honestly. She had no intention of lying to him. It was frowned upon at home and despite being thrown out, Aurora didn't want to change how she lived. Though as he asked about 'Pain Meds' confusion swiped over her face. What in the world was that? Would it be weird if she said that she did not know what it was? Aurora wanted his help but it seemed like a horrible idea to allow the stranger to find out the truth about what she really was. "No, thank you. I don't need Pain Meeeds."

She took in a deep breath, immediately cringing in pain once she had done so. Oh Lord it hurt. Once she had let out her breath though, Aurora felt like she could continue on. "Where am I?" She asked him. "Who are you?"

Arching an eyebrow at the young lady in the bed, Milo couldn't help but cross his arms. He couldn't believe that this girl was in pain, but didn't want to accept medication for it. Let alone call it something totally wrong. Which, he couldn't comment on because maybe the girl had a speech impediment or something which was why she couldn't say meds. "Are you sure, the pain medicine could help take some of the pain away? Make you feel better." Milo said, wanting to give the girl one more chance before he let the offer go.

"You're in New York, er, you're in my apartment. In my guest bedroom." Milo explained as he slowly raised a hand and ran it through his hair. "Names, Milo. I'm the one who found you in that alley and carried you here." He said as he slowly ran his eyes around the room. Surprised at how he couldn't seem to find anything to talk about with this stranger. Usually, he was like an open book, a chatterbox. He could talk to a stranger for hours, always coming up with something to talk about. Now, he was at a loss for words. When was the last time he spoke to a pretty girl? Too long, that's what.

"Hungry?" Milo asked after a couple of moments of silence. "I can make you something to eat. Or get you something to drink? I've got coffee, water, Pepsi?" Milo suggested, hoping that this stranger accepted something from him. After all, he was put out on a limb when he found her just laying face first in that crater. In an alley, at night, in the middle of freaking New York.

Aurora blinked a few times as Milo revealed that what she had just rejected from him was actually something that would take some of her pain away. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she could take back her denial of them without looking suspicious. Though, eventually, she sighed before nodding to him slowly. "Yes, I would like some pain medicine." Aurora whispered to him. "Sorry, I feel all messed up right now and I didn't understand what you meant at first." She said, trying to explain away her initial refusal. Though the women wasn't sure how convincing she was.

As the stranger started to go over where she was and who he was, Aurora tried to shift in the bed so she was no longer laying on her side but rather sitting up with her back against the wall. Though as she tried to move herself, a pained look flashed over the woman's face as she rolled herself on her back. A horrible gasp of agony left her and she was quick to roll herself back onto her side with whatever strength she had. The pain covering her back was unbearable. She should have known better than to try to put any pressure on the deep wounds that covered where her wings used to be.

It seemed that she was going to stay laying on her side for now. Once some of the pain had subsided, she lifted her eyes to look back at him, taking in how he looked for a moment. Milo seemed... okay. Perhaps he was safe? Aurora was aware that the humans had ability for both great kindness and horror. But, considering Milo had brought her safely to his house, he was probably one of the good ones. Surely an evil person would not have? "Yes, some food would be much appreciated. And I would like some water, please." Aurora told him, having no clue what a cof-fe-ee was or a peppsi. "And thank you, for helping me. I appreciate it greatly, Milo."

What the fuck had he just stumbled upon? The sight of this girl, actually being able to talk after what must have been a fall of some sort, was a miracle. Right? Any person that Milo knew would surely have been dead. Although, there was also the possibility that the hole she was laying in was also there before she had fallen into it. New York was known for its deep potholes and shitty people, which was why she was probably hurt so badly. Abusive boyfriend or something was going to be Milo's guess.

"R-right. I'll uh. Be right back." Milo said unsurely as he slowly turned from the door and headed back towards his kitchen. Looking through the cupboards for a moment, the young man found a can of chicken noodle soup and set it on the counter. Then, he grabbed a pot and poured the soup into it before setting the thing on the stove to warm before heading to the bathroom across from his bedroom. In there, Milo rummaged around for a moment before grabbing two pain medicine pills. Then he'd grab a bottle of water from the case he had in the hallway before heading towards his bedroom once more.

"Here," Milo said as he slowly handed the girl the pills. "Wash them down with this," Milo said, kinda feeling like an idiot by showing that he brought her a water bottle. Once she took the pills, Milo opened the bottle and slowly brought the thing to her lips. Not sure if holding the water would be too much for her, seeing as she couldn't even freaking roll onto her back. "They take a couple of minutes to work, but I promise it should at least take the edge off," Milo explained and offered the girl a small smile.

Setting the bottle of water lightly on the bedside table, in reach in case the girl wanted more water later. "Do you have a name?" Milo asked, not wanting to just keep calling her girl or lady. "Do you have anyone you want me to call for you?" He added on, trying to be as helpful as possible right now.

As the man walked out of the room, Aurora let out a long sigh before she closed her eyes again. She was glad that she was here but still worried about her presence in this human man's home. Aurora did not know a lot about Earth anymore, it had been centuries since she had been down last and a lot had changed. Plus she wondered if her mere presence in his home would cause any trouble on him - or if any other supernatural beings would find their way here to take advantage of her current situation.

Though she did not know what else to do but to stay until she was strong enough. Walking was out of the question right now and she definitely did not have anywhere to go. All she could do was hope to heal fast and that Milo would be willing to take her in for a short time.

When Milo came back into the room, her eyes opened and she looked to him. A polite smile came over her face towards him despite the pain she was in. "Thank you, Milo." She said softly, glancing down at the pills for along moment once they were in her hand. She suppose she just ate them? She took in a breath before taking them and swallowing them down. Aurora closed her eyes and drank the water that he offered to her, pulling back once she was done. She was glad that he was willing to help her drink - her muscles just felt so weak.

"My name is Aurora." The angel told him gently as she rested her head against the pillow again, resting completely. "And I am afraid that there is no one that you can call for me." She let out a small sigh at the thought. She had not even had the time to think about the fact that she had literally lost everyone in her life.

What does someone do when you learn that someone had no family to contact after being hurt badly? Sorry, that must suck? No, that'd be terrible especially if they had escaped from an abusive situation. But like, really, what is Milo supposed to say? "Oh well um, you're more than welcome to stay here till you feel better. So uh, just focus on recovering." Milo said quietly, his right hand moving to rub the back of his neck lightly. Shit, what was he getting himself into?

"Oh, the soup," Milo mumbled, remembering he was warming the stuff up on the stove. Leaving the room, Milo could feel his shoulders slumping as he walked. What the fuck was he doing? Taking in a strange girl who he found in an alley? In New York no less, one of the most dangerous places in the country.

Taking the bubbling soup off the stove, Milo poured the stuff into a bowl. Grabbing a spoon, Milo brought the warm food to Aurora, hoping that the light noodles and stuff would make her feel a little bit better. After all, chicken noodle soup always helps people feel better when they're hurt or sick. At least, it did for Milo when he was younger. Rather it is the cheap stuff from the store, or homemade. Soup always seemed to bring a sense of warmth to whoever ate it.

"Thank you. I greatly appreciate it, Milo." Aurora told him, her voice coming out a bit horse as she said it. This was definitely a good thing, that Milo was going to allow her to stay here. If he had wanted her gone, Aurora had no clue what she would have done knowing that she really had no where to go. But at least that issue was resolved and, at some point, Aurora would leave and figure out her next steps. But for now, all she had to worry about was healing.

Once the man left, Aurora tried to readjust on the bed so it was easier for her to eat. Though it came with some moaning and groaning. Her body felt like it was aflame and nothing hurt worse than her back. Which meant that she couldn't relax against it and eat like a normal. But, she managed to get herself higher on the bed, some pillows underneath her side to give her some elevation. It was not the most comfortable but it would be easier to eat like that doing so laying down.

Though as she shifted about, she noticed that blood had been seeping into the bed. A bit of a frown came over her face at the sight of it. She had to assume that her back was the worse offender. Oh heaven, and it was a lot too. Aurora just had to hope it was not a frightening amount of humans. When Milo came back in, she tried her best to shift her body over the large stain so he didn't see it. She didn't want him to panic.

After giving Aurora that bowl of soup, Milo ended up sitting in his living room for a while. His head was too jumbled to work on his music, so he ended up just playing a game on his phone. Although it didn't really seem to help his mind much. As he kept thinking about Aurora, wondering if she was going to be able to make it on her own. If she really didn't need a doctor, or any help eating. He did kinda just run out of there after placing the soup on the end table for her. Maybe he should go and check on her soon, maybe help her eat before the soup got too cold or something?

So, taking in a deep breath. Milo headed back towards the spare bedroom that he had left Aurora in. Knocking on the wall next to the bedroom before entering the threshold of the room to announce his arrival. A small smile playing along his lips. He glanced towards the bowl first, taking in the fact that the girl had in fact been able to eat on her own. Which, in Milo's mind was good. Then, he trailed his eyes towards Aurora and nearly passed out at the sight. The whole mattress under her was covered in blood.

"Holy shit," Milo muttered quietly as he took in the sight of the bed. Then, he looked towards Aurora and had to take a double-take. "How are you awake right now?" He asked as he took a couple more steps into the room. How the hell was he could to explain this to his landlord when he tries to throw this thing out? He'd think that Milo committed murder or something in the room. "There's, there's so much blood. You really need a hospital, like right now." Milo said as he felt his head starting to get a little light. He was really starting to freak out, like shit, any normal person would be dead or something from looking all of that. The blood looked like it was seeping through the mattress as they spoke.

A frown moved over the woman's face as Milo's eyes dropped down to the bed. This was not what she wanted. She did not want to panic the human. Though, more than that, she didn't want him bringing her to the hospital. She did not need to go there. "No!" Aurora blurted out. "I don't need a hospital." Aurora closed her lips tightly for a moment, figuring that freaking out, and respectively upsetting the human more, was probably not the way to stop Milo from bringing her there.

"I-I am okay. Look," Aurora motioned to the bowl of soup she had been eating. "I'm awake and eating. Milo, I'm okay. I just need..." The woman was quiet for a moment as she tried to think of what she would need. Clearly her bleeding all over this bed was a problem. Plus, Aurora figured that if she gave him something to do to help her, he might calm down and feel better about her status.

"I just need help wrapping up my back. Once it's wrapped up the bleeding will stop." Aurora told him a bit hesitantly. The truth was, she didn't want this mortal seeing the wounds on her back. Though... if she had to pick between the two, she rather him see where her wings were cut. Besides, this human wouldn't be able to put that together, right? There is no way he would know what those wounds are. Besides, once he wraps them up, at least she would stop bleeding on the bed. Maybe the wraps wouldn't look so good but she tended to think he would be more calm about that.

This was seeming like it was getting out of hand, and Milo couldn't help but purse his lips. Still a little bit uneasy about this whole thing. Aurora was just so insistent about him not taking her to the hospital. She rather someone who wasn't trained in medicine to wrap her up and face possible infection than going somewhere where people could actually help her a lot more than he could. A place where they could take the pain away for a little bit as she healed or something.

A small groan escaped from Milo as he slowly raised both of his hands and ran his fingers through his hair. "Shit," Milo mumbled as he felt himself going crazy. "Fuck, fine but I need to pick up some gauze really quick and some peroxide. I don't exactly carry that shit around with me ya know." Milo mumbled as he slowly turned to leave the room. Only to pause and glance towards Aurora. "When I get back though, I want to know why you don't want to go to a hospital where people could actually help you more than just wrapping a wound."

With that said, Milo left Aurora on the bed. Moving as quickly as he could to gather his apartment keys and slip his shoes on before leaving. Milo moved as quickly as he could, trying to not seem suspicious as he walked to the corner drug store to pick up some peroxide and gauze for Aurora. As well as some stronger pain meds and a bottle of tequila to help him forget about how fucked up this day was. Then, once everything was paid for Milo headed back towards his apartment building and up to his apartment.

Once he was back inside, Milo just barely kicked his shoes off before re-entering Aurora's room with the bags full of shit to help her out. "Alright, how should we do this?" Milo murmured, taking in the dress that Aurora was wearing that was slowly being ruined by her blood.

When Milo left the room, Aurora felt a strange mix of relieved and worried. She was glad that he had agreed to not bring her to a hospital and was leaving to get the items that he needed to help her. Honestly, Aurora didn't exactly need the gauze. Sure, it would stop her from bleeding all over the place but she would live and heal without it. Though what really stressed her out was that Milo wanted to talk about why she couldn't go to a hospital. What was she going to say? Aurora couldn't lie. But telling the truth was a terrible idea.

Aurora thought this over while the way was gone, trying to think of what to say and how to say it. She could keep information from him, and that was her saving grace at this moment. Though as the man entered the room, all thoughts left her head as she tried to refocus on what was in front of her.

"You're going to have to help me take the dress off." Aurora told him honestly. There was no way she was going to be able to bend her arms like that at this moment. She was lucky to even manage to eat the soup by herself. "And then, after that, wrap me up?" Aurora said, unsure what else there was to the process besides that. Though, she then glanced down at the bed, seeing how much blood was soaked into it. If she only had a bit of energy, Aurora could get this out. But she was still totally exhausted.

Was this really the best place to get wrapped up? On a bloody bed? If she could at least sit up, the bathroom would be better but it seemed that Aurora didn't have an option. "I'm really sorry about the bed. I can fix it when I'm better." She whispered.

A small sigh escaped from Milo as he listened to Aurora. He kinda had the idea in his head that he'd have to help her undress as well. As just from the look of her, he could tell that she was extremely weak. The fact that she was even awake was a miracle of its self, to be honest. Releasing a small sigh, Milo slowly nodded his head in understanding. "We can wash the sheet some other time. Right now, let's try and get you off of the bed and stripped." Milo said, and then frowning at how sexual that seemed to sound. "Sorry, not stripped. Undressed, her out of that dress. I mean- I'll just shut up." Milo murmured as he set the bag of goodies down on the ground near the door.

Then, standing up straight, Milo looked around the room as he tried to think about what to do. "Alright, I'm going to try and move you towards the chair to sit on while I remove the bloody sheet. Alright?" Milo asked, turning to look towards Aurora. "So, I'm going to need you to try and help as much as you can. Hold onto my upper arms and lean into me, got it?" Milo instructed as he moved towards Aurora.

Leaning down, Milo slowly placed his hands on her elbows and started to pull Aurora upwards. "Like a bandaid, we're going to stand you up fast. Alright?" Milo didn't even wait for a response as he pulled Aurora into him and held her as he pulled her into a standing position. Then, he pulled her with him slowly towards the little reading chair that was in the corner of the room and helped her sit down. "You can lean into the side of the chair, just don't lean backward, got it?" Milo asked, looking down at Aurora for confirmation before moving to let her go. Then, he turned and headed towards the bed so that he could strip the bed. The bedsheet was ruined and the mattress was definitely halfway through. "This is gonna be a bitch to clean." He murmured quietly as he bunched the sheet into a ball and dropped it to the side. Then, Milo went to get some towels to place over the blood on the mattress. A simple way to hopefully keep more from staining the thing and maybe save another sheet from being ruined in the near future.

"I know what you meant." Aurora responded to him. Though she wasn't sure why he started to stutter like what. What did stripped mean if just not to remove clothes? Her time on earth was going to be very strange indeed. As Milo told her what he was going to do to get her out of the bed, Aurora nodded to him quickly. She grabbed onto his arms as tightly as she could - which wasn't very tight at all. And once he lifted her up, Aurora leaned her whole body into him.

Though as Milo started to shift her around, Aurora felt pure pain radiate through her body. The woman's head fell forward, pressing down against his chest as tears welled up in her eyes. Though soon enough, he brought her over to the chair and set her down on it. Aurora leaned to the side and slightly forward, the only position that didn't put much strain on her back.

Her eyes lifted up as she watched Milo rip the bedsheet and start cleaning the bed. She bit down on her bottom lip, trying to decide if she should say anything. Her eyes fluttered as her head shifted down. Perhaps she should not. The truth was, angelic material never lasted long on earth. Sure, she would be fine, but if she left any proof of her existence, it would disappear in time. Like angel feathers, hair, or blood. It was a way heaven was able to set up to ensure that their existence could never be proven to the humans. "I'm really sorry, Milo." She whispered to him.
