I hate the smell of antiseptic. Emily thought as she laid in a cold pure white hospital bed. Her eyes closed as she laid still, her hair was cut short and it fanned out along the pillow she rested her head upon. A couple of machines sit next to the bed. Quiet beeps echo from some of them every now and again. One of the machines had a sort of rhythm to it, beeping and then making a line go up and then do little bumps. Wires were connecting Emily's arms to the machines. One was trailing up to her heart, which was the reason the rhythm machine, her heart monitor was beeping so often.

Where am I? And, why do I hurt all over? Emily wondered as her eyes started to move back and forth under her lids. She could feel medicine forcing her to sleep, but she was trying to fight it. No, no. I want to wake up. I want to find out where I am. Where's my mom? Emily's lips barely part as she finally slips unconsciously. With the medicine pulling her under, she could feel herself sinking down. Lower and lower until it was like she was drowning. Her chest squeezed and started to hurt. It hurt, why was it hurting so much? Then, almost as quickly as it came. It stopped. Almost like the pain never existed.

Then, it was like someone latched onto Emily and pulled her from the depths of a dream. Higher and higher she could feel herself being pulled up towards the sky. Flying, it was like she was flying, no almost like she was floating. The warmth started to slowly wash over her body and a sort of calm swept over her. Like a hug from a loved one. A warm blanket wrapped around one as they relaxed in front of a cozy warm fire.

A small groan slowly escaped from Emily's slightly parted lips as she started to stir. It was like she was just waking from a deep sleep. Her lips slowly pull into a small smile before relaxing. Her right arm that was under her pillow to elevate it slowly stretched out and brushed against the softest bed sheet she'd ever felt. Wait. Emily thought to herself as she held her breath and listened. She stayed as still as she possibly could before breathing in a gasp through her mouth as her eyes popped open. Emily sat up as quickly as she could, tossing the warm silk and fur blanket off of her in the process. Wooden walls and furniture met her bright green eyes.

"What the-" A sudden force started to throb inside of Emily's head. Causing her to groan as she clenched her eyes shut and lean forward in pain. Her hands raising to rest against the back of her head as the worst pain she'd ever felt washed over her. Then, images started to flow through her head. People places that she'd never seen before and a culture that was all unfamiliar to Emily played like a movie in her head. Memories They were memories, memories of someone else's life. A life that Emily now knew forward and backward. Almost like it was her own life. Like she'd become that person.

It was a couple of moments later before the pain ended, leaving the young girl in a confused state on the bed. Slowly, Emily lowered her hands from her head as she raised it once more. Her mind slowly putting things together. Inn, this was an inn. But, how did she get here? Why was she here? Moving slowly, Emily slipped out of the bed. Her bare feet landed on the wooden floor and sent a small chill down her spine. Acting as if a reminder that she had just woken up. "Woken up?" Emily murmured quietly, then frowned. "My voice." She murmured once more and pursed her lips. The confusion was evident along her face as she slowly looked around the room. Her eyes landed on a mirror at the other side of the room and started to move towards it. Its framing looked like it was made of dark copper and as the young girl moved closer she could make out small leaf designs along the edging.

Once in front of a mirror, a second gasp escaped from Emily. Or rather, Princess Alexia. Looking back at herself, it was evident to Emily that she wasn't in her own body. The hair was a dirty blonde, whereas hers was a dark brown. Eyes were the same but it was quite sure to Emily that Alexia is a tad bit shorter. "What the hell?" Emily, er Alexia murmured quietly as she slowly leaned forward to get a better look at herself. Her right hand raising to press slowly against her right cheek.

Then, a knock sounded and echoed around the room. "Princess, it is time to wake." An older feminine voice echoed through the wooden door. Emily stood still for a couple of moments more. Thinking, wondering what in the world she should do. She wasn't this Princess Alexia. She was Emily Hawkins, or rather was? She still had no idea what was going on or how she'd ended up in such an old-fashioned inn. "Princess, I'm coming in. Awake or not!" The woman said just as she opened the door and placed her hands on her hips as she looked at the young Princess. "Oh! You're already up!" The woman said, seeming surprised. Her stern expression and voice slowly softening. "I'm glad it seems that you're feeling better, you gave us all a scare the other day." The woman said as she slowly closed the door and walked to the chest that was in the right of the room. A clothes chest, popped into Emily's head.
Narrowing her eyes, Emily racked her brain for who this woman was. Then, it popped into her mind like it was something that should be obvious to her. "Margret, where are we?" Emily asked. Margret paused in her looking before starting once more. Pulling out a dress for the young Princess to wear. "Why, we're in The KeyStone in. On our way to meet your betrothed." Margret said as she walked towards Emily with the dress before slowly pushing her towards a bucket full of water that was in the room. "That fall must have rattled your head, huh Princess?"

"R-right," Emily murmured quietly, thinking about everything that seems to be going on.

    ----

Riding through the forest on horseback, Kieran sat up straight and looked around them. The sun was rising and slowly casting a warm glow over the world. It was quite a sight to see. It was peaceful as well, the animals in the woods were fast asleep, vulnerable to their sneaking approach as the young man and company approached the hunting grounds. "So, your highness. Your betrothed is going to be arriving this afternoon." Kieran said quietly as he glanced towards his right where the Prince was riding. A small playful smirk playing along his lips. The two had been childhood friends and it was quite amusing to see things change for his friend. Their years of sleeping around were going to become a little bit more challenging soon. "What do you think she'll look like? The letters all described her as beautiful, did they not?" Kieran turned his head and looked forward, adjusting the reins of the horse to walk around a tree that was in his way.

"And they can send her back without rest for all I care, Kieran." Lycan said in response as his horse slowed down. He hated the thought of being forced the marry. Not only was it not to someone that he personally wanted to spend the rest of his life with, but it was a woman attached to the enemy. This marriage was to be no good and no one cared for his happiness. "They are trying to set me up for a life of misery, how can you not see that?" The man continued on before shaking his head a bit. "And on top of that, father does not care about it because of what she is attached to. The least he could have done was pick someone who I could have had a chance to get along with but instead, he picks out a worse enemy. I think he laughs about the whole thing when he is alone in his office."

Of course, the prince understood the decision that his father was making. It really had nothing to do with either of them. Nor did it have anything to do with how Lycan felt. No, this was all to make peace with those scum to the north. The man was hoping that this was going to push them into a new age of prosperity, especially once their land combined into one, with Lycan ruling it all. It was true that his reign was sure to be a sight to see. Lycan was already being predicted to be a great ruler and a push like this was going to really set him up for a fantastic start but... well he did not like the Queen that would be by his side.

"Also, you are completely missing the point. Her beauty matters nothing at all. She can look like a literal Goddess or like a pig. This is doomed to fail from the start." Lycan let out a sigh, stopping his horse for a second. "I am glad that my kingdom will be placed in a great position after this. The people should truly be dancing in the streets but I do not like the cost it will have on my personal life... If I am lucky, she will die in childbirth with our son. I can raise our heir, and find a new wife. One that pleases him and not only please everyone else."

Lycan shook his head a bit as he urged his horse forward, now looking back at Kieran. "Of course, you shall keep everything I have just said to you to yourself. Otherwise, you might finally force me to cut off that head of yours." A bit of a joking smile came over Lycan's face. He cared for his friend dearly and would never be able to kill him... Though he was serious about keeping this all a secret.

Once dressed, and her hair done in a beautiful braid that Emily wished she could do herself. Looking at herself in the mirror, she never felt so pretty. Every time Emily would try to watch a youtube video on how to do braiding, she'd usually give up and order food instead. "Princess." Running her right hand slowly through the end of her hair, Emily sighed quietly. Why couldn't she be this pretty every day? "Princess Alexia?" Margret called again and Emily snapped out of her thoughts. "Hm?" Her eyes glanced up as she looked at the reflection of the older woman once more.

"Princess, would you can to come down for breakfast, or shall I send for it to be sent up here?" The servant asked, her tone hinting at that she was a bit irritated from calling the woman repeatedly. "I'll come down," Emily said quietly as she took one last glance towards the window and then slowly started to walk towards the door. Margret opened the door for Emily and followed behind as she walked out of the room. Her eyes glanced around slowly as she walked down the hall. The memories of Alexia leading her through the hall and towards the dining room. Where the staff brought out their best dishes for the high-status young lady.

"Your highness." A servant said as he pulled out a chair for Alexia. Offering a small smile, the young Princess took the seat. Then, as soon as she sat down one of the servants of higher status started to speak to the Princess. Explaining to the young girl what was on the agenda for the day. Which, really got Emily to start thinking. These people really didn't know that their dearly beloved Princess wasn't here anymore. They all thought that she was her, which was kinda fucked up but also kinda cool. After all, who didn't want to be a Princess and marry a Prince? It was kinda like a fairy tale of some sorts. They're going to fall in love at first sight, and live happily ever after most likely. Right? Hopefully, the guy's good to look at if that's going to be the case. "Very well," Emily said quietly, mindlessly accepting to what the man was saying but also her inner turmoil. She'll play as Alexia, become this Princess that these people thought that she was.

Raising the spoon that was at her side, Emily, or rather Alexia now. Started to eat the porridge that was prepared for her breakfast before sampling the other foods that were prepared just for her.

    ----

Arching an eyebrow at the Crown Prince, Kieran couldn't help but offer another small smirk. "What me? Spill your secrets?" Kieran asked, sarcasm heavy in his words. "No, never. I am a true and loyal servant to the crown." Reaching over, Kieran lightly punched his friend's upper arm before sitting upon his horse. Pulling the reins a little bit so that it slowed so that the boys could speak easier and put a bit of space behind them and the servants who were walking ahead. The young man's smirk slowly relaxing into just a pursed smile. "Really though, I won't say anything."

Looking ahead, Kieran took in the surroundings once more. "Why don't you just resort to the old traditions? Have separate rooms?" Kieran asked, glancing towards the Crown Prince once more. "That way, you can just sleep with her to produce an heir, and then you can go on and sleep with whoever you want like you've been doing," Kieran shrugged his shoulders, "You're going to become King, Your Highness. A woman isn't going to have much say in what you do with your spare time. It's not her place. If she's not in your bed, then she's not worth your time."

Up ahead, Kieran noticed that they've stopped at a good hunting spot and glanced towards Lycan. "Ready to blow off some steam, your highness?" Kieran asked as he looked down and held out his hand, wanting to be handed his gun.

"I could definitely do that... It is actually probably for the best that we do that. I do not want to share a room with her and I am sure that the princess will have no interest in sharing one with me either. I can go to her room, fuck her till she's full and then go about my day doing whatever - or whoever - I want." Lycan let out a chuckle at the thought of it. "Besides, once we have an kid or two, then we really could go our separate ways. Me, running the kingdom, and she could go live in the castle by the country."

Lycan gave a little sigh at the thought of it all. In truth, it was not a terrible plan. Kieran was right in the idea that a woman had no say in what he did. Even if that woman was his Queen. "I guess things do not have to be so terrible. Though I rather had liked the idea of liking the women I was marrying. But if that is not going to happen, then I can at least mitigate the displeasure she will bring me."

As Kieran mentioned blowing off some steam, Lycan looked up at what was in front of them. It took a moment but he started to smile and he nodded. "That sounds like a great idea." He said as he handed Kieran his gun back. "Ready for a bet? If you shoot more game then me, I will get you the best whore in the land." He said with a chuckle.

The Kingdom of Nesirin is quite beautiful. The forests were dark and healthy, trees were as tall as a four-story building. The streams that they passed along the way were as clear as freshwater from the tap. The whole place was quite the sight to see and frankly. Emily wasn't sure she had ever learned about the kingdom when she was growing up. Why would the states leave out information on such a beautiful place? Which, led her to believe that this place might not be on earth or in her realm. It was a crazy thought, but so was waking up as a Princess of a Kingdom you've never heard of and being betrothed to a man you've never met as well. Dreams are weird like that so Emily, sorry Alexia was just rolling with it. While the carriage rolled along, she'd take in the view from her window.

Upon arriving, Alexia was led straight towards the King's throne room. Where she greeted the King and was informed by the old man that her betrothed was unfortunately still out on his hunting expedition. Which meant her whole reason for even coming here was so rude as made sure that she waited on him. That he thought so little of her arriving, that he'd rather go out and shoot things instead of meeting someone he'd be spending his life with. Anyways, the King was kind to Alexia. He understood the toll of long travels and allowed the young lady to rest a bit as they waited for the Crown Prince to arrive home.

After accepting the invitation to take some time to rest, Alexia was led to her room. Or rather, the room she'd be staying in till she was wed to the Prince in the upcoming week. Being the Princesses head servant, Margret opened the door to the bedroom. Walking in, Alexia looked around. Taking in the room that she considered quite nice for a bedroom of this time period. "What a mess," Margret murmured and sighed, her hands moving to rest upon her hips as she walked into the room with the Princess. "Margret." Alexia chided as she glanced at the servant that she'd known the longest. "It's only temporary," Alexia said as she looked around once more. It wasn't that bad. "Still, for the future queen, you'd think they'd strive for better for you."

A small sigh escaped from Margret as she turned towards the door where the other servants waited with Alexia's things. "Well, what are you waiting for?" Margret asked as she clapped her hands in a sort of sarcastic manner. "Bring everything in." The servants jumped into action and started to bring in Alexia's things. Placing them in the middle before bringing things out for the Princess to use as she pleased.

"I'm going to go for a walk in the garden," Alexia announced after watching the few servants who had come with her to Nesirin. Before Margret could chastise the young Princess about not resting, Alexia exited the bedroom. The two guards at her door instantly falling a couple of steps behind her as she walked.

Once she arrived outside, Alexia closed her eyes and took in a deep breath through her nose. Then, she breathed out through her mouth as she opened her mouth. "Please give me some space," Alexia said as she glanced back at her two guards. She didn't wait for a reply before heading more into the garden. Taking in the beautiful flowers and stone statues that lined the path. "This place is beautiful," Alexia said quietly to herself as she walked the small path. Her legs were a bit sore from sitting so long, but it felt quite nice to be able to walk around.

    ----

A loud laugh escaped from Kieran as he walked with the Crown Prince. His right hand raised and then patted the Prince's right shoulder as the boys walked through the garden together. Having just returned after a messenger sent word of the Princess' arrival cut the fun short. "It's always fun to have a bet with you, your highness," Kieran said as he laughed once more.

"Although, as my reward. I don't want just any whore." Kieran said as he released the Prince and relaxed his hand back to his side. "I was Viscount Bernards eldest daughter, that girl's a beauty. An idea of her riding me?" Kieran raised his pointer finger and thumb to his lips and made a kiss sound as he blew the kiss. An while she wasn't a whore, there's been talk about the girl being good with her lips.

As he's lowering his arm, Kieran looked straight ahead and paused. "Oh, hello," Kieran murmured as his eyes laid on a beautiful woman sitting on a bench in the garden. "Who is that girl?" Kieran murmured as he glanced at the Crown Prince.

Disappointment had gone through the man when the fun had to end because the bitch from the other country was here to ruin his life. How fun. Though he went back to the castle, not wanting to complain in front of the messenger. There were some people that Lycan did not mind ranting in front of but his servants were not some of those people - well at least not all of them. He was very aware that some of them thrived on the castle gossip and there was no reason for him to allow them to spread his secrets around.

"I would have fun if there had been more time, but I suppose a bet is a bet." Lycan responded, offering a slight smile towards his friend. Though it wavered as Kieran revealed who he wanted, and the man started to shake his head. "Why must you ask for a noble lady? You are trying to get me in trouble with the Viscount..." He thought about it for a moment, glancing to the side. "I will see if it is possible but I will not push hard on this one for you. Especially as I highly doubt she would do it for any amount of money, as she is not a whore."

As Kieran pointed out the woman sitting down on the garden bench, Lycan took a long moment to look at her. "I have not the faintest idea." Lycan told him honestly. "I do not know her as any of the lord's daughters... Perhaps she is with one of the ambassadors? She is dressed quite strangely."

He reached up and started to rub his stubble. "Why don't you go find out for me?" He said as he patted his friend on the back.

Staring at the young woman who was sitting on the bench, Kieran couldn't help but undress the young lady with his eyes. She was beautiful. Definitely, one he wouldn't mind spending more than one night with. Which, was saying a lot coming from a guy like the biggest player in the Kingdom. Kieran was a duke's son and the Prince's best friend. He had friends in all sorts of places, talk his way under any woman's skirts and this woman was definitely going to be on his list of to-do's.

Glancing at the Prince out of the corner of his eye, Kieran smirked. "Why? Do you got cold feet now that you're an engaged fella?" Kieran asked, then let out a small chuckle before shaking his head. "Aye, I'll go introduce myself," Kieran said as he looked ahead and straightened his shoulders. Getting rid of his smirk and replacing it with one of his most relaxing smiles, Kieran started to make his way towards the young girl.

    ----

Hearing footsteps approaching from her right caused Emily to jump slightly. She had been running over the things from Alexia's memory that she found useful. This was the Kingdom of Nesirin, her birthplace is in The Qoria Empire and her father was obviously the Ruler of that area. Her mother was the King's second wife and she's his only living child. Interestingly enough, magic exists in this world but is an extremely rare thing. Those who can learn it are usually employed by the Emperors or King's of this land. On her way to her betrothed, Alexia fell from a horse when it got spooked by a snake. Resulting in her hitting her head, in her mind, Emily believed that Alexia had died in her sleep and she had somehow become her. Woken up like her?

"Afternoon M'lady." A seemingly well-dressed man said as he approached Alexia and offered her a small courteous bow. Acting on instinct, Alexia slowly stood and curtsied back to the man. "Afternoon, Sir." She said quietly, a side effect of Alexia's leftover subservient behavior. Standing up straight once more, Alexia saw a hint of a smirk slowly playing along his lips. "I couldn't help but notice your radiance as I walked through the garden on my way through the garden." There it was, his smirk was growing. "I couldn't help but think that you reminded me of an angel of the lord with the sun shining down on you. So I must ask M'Lady. May I know thee's name?" Kieran asked, being his suave self.

Reaching out, Kieran slowly reached out to lightly grasp Alexia's hand. Wrapping his fingers around her hand lightly, he raised it to his lips and lightly kissed her knuckles. "So, M'lady angel. May I know your name?"

After listening to Kieran spewing his false kind words, Alexia allowed for her polite smile to slowly slip from her face. Instead of being replaced with a slight frown. "I suggest that you release me," Alexia said, her sweetness leaving slightly. "You have no idea who I am, do you?" Alexia asked, pulling her hand back lightly as he released her and placed her hand back down at her side. "I know all that I need to know, you're a beauty that has =." Alexia cut the man off before he could finish. "I'm the Crown Prince's fiance."

The disposition of the man in front of Alexia seemed to stiffen. Realization flashing in his eyes, and then. Within a second, the man shifted so that he was kneeling on one knee in front of her. "Forgive me, your highness, I have overstepped myself." Kieran apologized. While this girl was a mere Princess from the enemy Kingdom. She was still ranked above him and with the treaty on rocky terms until the wedding, Kieran knew he needed to try and suck up. Or he could risk losing his life by angering her or the King as Lycan's protection for him would only stretch so far.

"Why would I forgive you over something that you did not know about?" Alexia asked, narrowing her eyes slightly. When he approached, Alexia inwardly groaned at the thought that he'd be the Prince she was to marry. His high-quality clothing, a demeanor that screamed status. Thankfully, his bow was the thing that gave him away. "Yes, your highness. But I should have been informed that you were here. I'm sorry to have met like this." Kieran said, hoping to god that Lycan comes to save him from this crappy groveling.

"Stand up," Alexia said, tired of having this guy apologize to her. "A gentleman always introduces himself first, who are you?" Alexia asked, her arms slowly crossing over her stomach as she waited for his reply. "Sir Kieran Von Doren, Your Highness. Duke Elias Von Doren. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

As Lycan watched the scene occur in front of him, a frown came over his face. There was only one reason that Kieran would be acting like that... the princess. He had half a mind to turn and let Kieran get out of his situation himself. After all, he had no interest in speaking to Princess Alexia, much less deal with her in a foul mood - which it seemed was turning quickly as he watched her mannerisms. Though, unfortunately, Lycan could not get himself to leave his friend behind.

So he made his way over to the two of them, standing beside where his friend was kneeling. Lycan bowed his head to her slightly. He could not say he cared to show her much respect but what he had down was appropriate enough. "Good afternoon, I am Crown Prince Lycan valkyrie Arundel." The man said, introducing himself so the princess knew who he was and what kind of situation they were in. Besides, he did not want the lady calling him rude - for it was improper for a man to not introduce himself first. It just so happened that Kieran often got away with it due to that silver tongue of his.

"I apologize if my friend has offended you. I had asked him to find out who the stranger in my gardens was and it seems that he has done a poor job of it." Lycan motioned for Kieran to get up and to move behind him. The man was getting ready to make a quick escape but he needed his friend on his feet to make that successful. "Though now that mystery has been solved, we will take our leave now and you no longer have to deal with my foolish friend."

His eyes glanced over to the castle for a moment, "Besides, Princess, I think you would agree that it is rather improper for us to meet like this before formal introductions have been given. So we will be on our way." The man nodded his head to the princess once again, now getting ready to hightail it out of there with Kieran.

This dream was no fairy tale, Emily was starting to believe. The crown Prince that Alexia's engaged to seems like a giant prick. His head seemed so far up his ass, that she could practically sense his distaste for her. It made her want to reach out and slap him, but she held back. Instincts told her that provoking the beast in front of her wasn't a good idea. She needed to lay low and do her best to not provoke him till she had the protection of the title of queen. Even then though, she could still be in danger if she provoked him too much.

"Very well then, your highness," Alexia said quietly, agreeing that it was improper to meet under these circumstances. She lowered her head slightly and gave him a small curtsy of her own. Just enough respect on her part to show that she knew her place, just like he did before standing up. "I shall be looking forward to our formal meeting." She said, doing her best to offer a small smile. Although, it quickly disappeared as she glanced towards the man named Kieran. She didn't speak to him as she made the first move to leave instead. Heading back towards her guards who weren't too far away.

    ----

A couple of short hours later, Princess Alexia was dressed in a more appropriate dress for a Princess who was to be queen. The walk to the throne room felt like it took ages, but Alexia knew it only took her a couple of moments. In a few moments, it will signify the clock until she was to be wed in a week's time. The clock was ticking until things were going to change once more and the young Princess was already having a culture shock with his time frame. Going from a modern age on earth to a slightly fantasy medieval time. It was strange and exciting. As well as a little scary.

The sound of her alias' name being spoken loudly as the double door opened snapped Emily from her thoughts. "Introducing, Princess Alexia Rose Hastings from The Qoria Empire." The man said in a booming voice, the words echoing through the throne room. A couple of high-ranking officials stood to the sides, wanting to get a good sight of the soon-to-be Crown Princess. Excited for the sight of the heir's reaction to the girl who would rule beside him.

Stopping a couple of steps from the throne steps, Alexia bowed her head down lowly out of respect and then got down in a kneeling position out of respect. Offering the King and the Crown Prince the most respect. Her lips pursed together into a thin line, the knowledge of the real Alexia telling her to stay quiet until she was spoken to and told to rise by the King.

"Welcome, Princess Alexia. Please rise." King Uziel said as he stood up from his throne. "I welcome you to my country, and into my home." The man said as he started to walk down the steps from his throne.

Once his father was up, Lycan got onto his feet. And once the King started down the steps from the thrones, the man did the same. Although he hated everything about this arrangement, it was not his place to disobey - especially not here. His eyes slowly shifted over the princess. At least she was not ugly. Fucking her should be easy. He just hoped that the young woman quickly learned her place here. To do as he told her to and not cause any trouble.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, finally, Princess Alexia." The King said before he motioned to Lycan. "Please, let me introduce you to my son. Prince Lycan valkyrie Arundel of The Kingdom of Osia."

Once introduced, Lycan bowed politely to her, being a bit more respectful than he had been in the gardens. He knew to keep in line with so many people watching. "It is an honor to meet you, Princess Alexia." The man said, his voice strong as he spoke. Lycan stood back up straight, looking her into her eyes. "I hope that your trip had treated you well. I know it was a long journey."

When she was finally allowed to stand up, Alexia kept her head bowed as she did as she was told. Standing up straight and only raising her head once the King started to speak to her once more. A small polite smile slowly gracing her lips. "It's an honor to be here, your majesty," Alexia said softly and she took in the aging King's appearance. He looked so powerful even in his older years, it made Alexia feel a little better knowing that his son didn't seem as intimidating in stature. Although, personality between the two seemed to mimic each other.

Slowly, Alexia glanced towards Lycan and offered another small smile. Wanting to seem as soft and comforting as she possibly could. The women from the real Alexia's memory all seemed quite docile and submissive. "You as well your Majesty." Alexia greeted back and then looked towards Lycan, doing her best to not let her smile slip. She still wasn't really happy with how rash he seemed earlier, but hopefully, with some time to cool his head, he would be easier to be around.

As soon as Lycan looked her in the eyes, Alexia's subconscious took over and caused her to slightly lower her gaze out of respect for the man. In this world, even if one's a Prince and a Princess the Prince still held more power. "You have such a beautiful Kingdom, that I was too enchanted to really notice the long journey. Thank you for your concern though."

The King smiled, pleased with the pleasantries that were occurring between the two. The man did not expect for sparks to fly on first meeting but, for now, he would simply take the two being polite to each other.

"I am glad to hear it," Lycan responded. He was glad to heard that she had something nice to say about his kingdom. It was near and dear to his heart and the man would not tolerate any insult throw at it from her lips. "Tomorrow, I can give you a tour of the palace if you are well rested from your travels. Hopefully you will see the beauty here as you did the kingdom."

Before Alexia could respond, the King clapped his hands together, ready to move on now that his son had offered a tour as he had told him to. "Let us head to the great hall to enjoy a feast, in honor of your arrival, Princess Alexia." The man said before he started to head out of the room. The servants not bustling to open the doors and tell the kitchens to get prepared to take everything out.

This caused Lycan to offer Alexia an arm to escort her that way.

The fact that Lycan had offered to give her a tour caused Alexia to feel a little uncertain. Like he was only doing so because he wanted to trick her or something. Thankfully, or maybe unfortunately the King interrupted to tell everyone to head into the great hall to start the feast. Something that Alexia was quite interested in because, from the memories of the real Princess, she had no knowledge of this Kingdom's culture at all.

"Thank you," Alexia said quietly to Prince Lycan as she did her best to offer him a small smile as she accepted his arm. Then, she looked forward as the two of them were lead through the doors to the right of the throne room that connected it to the grand hall. High vaulted ceilings greeted Alexia, painted white with extremely beautiful detailed etching on the trim. Gold pieces melded into the etching to make the designs pop. Beautiful glistening hardwood floors covered the whole great hall. Tables lined the sides for people to gather around to feast on the food that was prepared for the celebration. An up ahead, Alexia saw the table that was set for the royals. The King's position was stationed in the middle, and two to his right side were set aside for Alexia and Lycan. The left seat was left vacant, leaving Alexia to wonder if it was for the Queen if she was around.

"This is amazing." Alexia found herself murmuring quietly as she tore her eyes away from the appearance of their table and looked around the room once more. Beautiful long windows let in the fading afternoon light. Tall torches that didn't look like normal torches lines the wall and let out a warm glow over the place. It felt so welcoming here, so warm and comforting. How this Kingdom could have one of the fiercest armies was beyond her. It just seemed too friendly in the castle.

A little bit of a smirk came over Lycan's face for a moment as he heard the woman on his arm murmuring to herself about how amazing the castle was. It was amazing. At this the woman was getting a couple things right about his home. Though he was sure that for right now, she was just putting on a pretty act. The woman's true monstrous self would come out eventually. And that was going to be fucking Hell to deal with. But, for now, he would entertain her like his father commanded and hope that somehow, he could get out of this mess and have her kingdom.

Once they had made it to the table, Lycan pulled back a chair for her to sit in, waiting for Alexia to sit down before pushing it in. At which point, Lycan sat down in his own chair. Once everyone was settled, food started to get rushed out by the servants. Many different things, steaming hot, were set down on the table; A roasted pig, potatoes, greens, pictures of wine, carrots, tarts, fresh bread, chicken and more.

Though no one made a move to start eating, instead looking to the King. Once the servants were done, the man stood up, picking up his goblet of wine. "Today, we welcome Princess Alexia to our home. In a week, we welcome her into our family! To new friends and new family! To the future of Osia!" The man lifted his drink, causing everyone to do the same, some glasses hitting each other before everyone took a sip from their. At which point, the feast started in full swing.
