Yoongi sighed as he stumbled out of his studio, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He had been working on a song for the last three nights and he wasn’t getting any further. It was stressing him out and he wasn’t getting enough sleep, and living off of beer and chips.

As he walked through the living room, he saw Jin and Jia sitting on the couch, talking and laughing. Yoongi made a face as he walked past them and into the kitchen, grabbing himself another beer.

As he walked back through, he heard Jin hyung say he was going to start dinner soon. Yoongi didn’t know why he said what he said, but he was just pissed about seeing Jia and his hyung all close. “Yeah, if you can take your attention away from the whore for one second.” He grumbled.

Jia smiled as she listened to her best friend, Jin tell her a joke that ended up being so awful that it made her laugh. She was sitting on the couch with her legs draped over his lap, which was her favorite thing to do because it annoyed him, but he has never moved her off.

From the corners of her eyes, Jia saw Yoongi giving her an annoyed look as he went into the kitchen to grab a beer. Usually they would be fighting by now, but Jia wasn't in the mood to fight Yoongi nor give him any of her time. However, when he had called her a whore as he was talking to Jin and that instantly pissed her off.

Jia got up from the couch and got in his face. "Punk ass bitch, are you that upset that Jin gives me more attention than your drunk ass?" She said poking his chest and then pushed the beer bottle that was in his hand, making it spill on his shirt. "Looks like you made a mess on yourself." She smirked.

Namjoon had just arrived to the warehouse after finishing his shift at the gas station. He was exhausted since he worked a double shift due to a co-worker calling off. Opening the door, he took off his shoes and walked inside and could smell whatever Jin was cooking which made him smile. However, as he moved closer to the kitchen area, he could hear Jia and Yoongi bickering as usual, causing him to let out a sigh. Namjoon just ignored them and continued to make his way to the kitchen. "Smells good in here." He commented but then looked back out towards Jia and Yoongi before turning back to look at Jin. "What are they fighting about this time?"

Yoongi glared, “what the fuck, Jia?” He said and shoved her back. “Why do you always have to be such a whore around Jin hyung? Huh?” He was even more pissed off now, because she had ruined his shirt and his beer.

“Yoongi-hyung, just leave her alone.” Taehyung groaned from the floor, where he, Jimin and Jungkook were playing video games.

Yoongi ignored him and whenever Jia tried to swing at him, he grabbed her, putting her into a headlock and placing all his pressure on her throat.

“YOONGI-HYUNG! LET HER GO! SHE CAN’T BREATHE! JIN-HYUNG!” Taehyung began yelling as he jumped up, knocking over his bowl of popcorn in the process.

Jin came running into the living area, with Namjoon following him, as the two of them pulled Yoongi and Jia apart. Yoongi managed to get free of Jin’s grasp, before stomping off to his studio and slamming the door shut.

Solar had just made it to the warehouse as Yoongi stormed into his studio. The slamming sound of the door made the younger girl jump some as she stood there for a moment.

She walked over and sat down on the couch, while Jin and Namjoon made sure Jia was okay. Taehyung and Jungkook were busy picking up the spilled popcorn as Jimin got up to also check on Jia.

“Are you okay, noona?” Jimin asked softly.

Usually Jia could hold her own when she would get into fights with Yoongi, but when he put her in a chokehold that she couldn't break out of, she panicked when she couldn't breathe. Once Namjoon and Jin were able to break them up, Jia instantly got angry with herself because she felt weak and couldn't fight Yoongi off of her on her own.

Jia sighed and shoved both Namjoon and Jin away from her. "Get off me, I'm fine!" she said and got up to walk out of the warehouse. She was pissed and needed to go out to let off some steam but also get high. However, she softened a little when Jimin approached her. She couldn't yell at him or at any of the younger members, Jia didn't have the heart to. "I'm okay Chim Chim. I just need to get away for a bit to cool off. I'll be back later." She said and ruffled his hair before going past him to leave.

Namjoon sighed as he watched Jia stormed out of the warehouse. He saw that Jin was about to go after her, but he stopped the eldest member from doing so. "Just let her go. She'll come back once she cools off." He said and helped Jin up. "Why don't you continue working on dinner to keep you distracted. I'll help the kids clean up." Namjoon offered before going to where the younger members were. "Are you guys okay?" He asked and then smiled softly when he saw Solar now in the room on the couch. "Hey baby girl" He said greeting the youngest member.

Jin sighed. “I-okay, you’re probably right. Dinner is almost done.” He sighed before heading back into the kitchen. Taehyung and Jungkook nodded at Namjoon’s question before picking up the last bit of popcorn, which Jimin took from them so he could go dump it in the trash.

Solar looked up whenever Namjoon addressed her. “Hi, oppa..” she said softly. “What were they fighting about?” She asked.

Jungkook turned to look at them, “Yoongi called Jia noona a whore, and that got her upset.” He said with a frown.

Solar frowned, “Yoongi oppa shouldn’t talk to her like that. What is up with him lately?” She sighed, leaning back onto the couch as she ran a hand through her hair.

“Hoseok hyung said Yoongi hyung has been working on a new song but it isn’t going so well, and he won’t let Hobi help him.” Taehyung sighed.

Jia headed towards the shady part of the town, going to the bar that she works part-time for. None of the guys knew that she worked there, and if they did, Jia wouldn't be working there anymore since she knew that Jin and Namjoon would cause hell and do everything in their power to get her fired.

Jia headed towards the back, knowing that her dealer, Jongup, would be in his office. Knocking on his office door, she was let in shortly after. Jongup saw her and smirked, knowing that she was back for more drugs. Jia was the only customer he would give his products to for free, because they are sleeping together, but also they have known each other for a while since they were both foster kids. "I need a refill." She simply stated as she pulled the collar of jacket closer to her neck to hide the bruises that were forming. Jongup noticed them anyway, but he didn't say anything, not wanting to upset her. He pulled out a baggy with an ounce of weed and a baggy with MDMA pills, handing them to her. "I have a line ready, if you're in." He said as he showed her a line of coke on the desk, ready to be inhaled. Jia smiled and nodded. She took the rolled up banknote from Jongup and inhaled the white powder, feeling the burn instantly but knowing the high she was looking for will be coming.

Namjoon sighed, "I get it that he is stressed out, but doesn't make it okay for him to take his frustrations on her and putting his hands on her. We'll talk to him later once everything cools down." He said and moved over to sit next to Solar, pulling her closer to his side. Namjoon had a soft spot for the youngest member, they all did but Namjoon's feelings for her were stronger. She reminded him of his younger sister that he used to have before she was murdered. So it's why Namjoon is protective over Jia and Solar, but mainly Solar because her step dad and step brother were just awful human beings. However, only Jin and Yoongi know about this dark part of his past.

“Dinner is ready! Can someone go get Hoseok and try to get Yoongi to come out and eat a proper meal?” Jin called before moving in front of the doorway that led into the kitchen.

“I’ll go get Hoseok, maybe Namjoon should see if he can get Yoongi hyung to come out?” Jimin said as he looked back at Namjoon.

Solar looked over at Namjoon, “I guess you should go get Yoongi.” She gave him a smile, before standing up and following Taehyung and Jungkook into the kitchen while Jimin went to fetch Hoseok.

"What about Jia? Are you going to call her to see if she is on her way back?" Jungkook asked, worried about his noona. "Yeah, Jia has been gone for a bit." Taehyung added.

Namjoon smiled back at Solar before getting up from the couch. "I'll be back momentarily." He said and ruffled her hair slightly before going to Yoongi's room. He knocked on the door loud enough for him to hear. "Hey Yoongi, come on it's time to eat. Don't make me drag you, because you need a good meal in your stomach."

Jin nodded, grabbing his phone. “Help yourselves. I’m going to call her right now.” He said, walking out of the kitchen as Hoseok and Jimin walked in.

Of course, Jia’s phone went to voicemail. Jin sighed, before leaving her a message. “Hey Jia, the kids are starting to worry about you, I hope you are coming back. I made your favorite, text me and let me know if you’re coming back so we can save you some.” He said, before hanging up and making his way back to the kitchen.

Solar was sitting in between Jungkook and Taehyung, twirling her spoon around in the kimchi stew. Usually, she would be eating, but she didn’t feel like eating right now. She had gotten into a fight with her step dad before coming to the warehouse and it was still on her mind.

Yoongi sighed. “Is Jia still here?” He asked. He heard Namjoon say no, and he got up, opening the door. “Fine, I’ll eat.” He mumbled, walking out of room and closing it behind him.

He followed Namjoon into the kitchen, where he grabbed himself a bowl of stew and sat down, opposite of Solar, and in between Jimin and Hoseok.

When Jin had came back to sit at the table, not really saying anything about Jia, Jungkook got a little worried. "Did you speak to Jia noona, hyung?" Jungkook asked in hopes, but frowned when he heard Yoongi scoffed and muttered the word bitch under his breath.

"Why do you hate Jia noona soo much? She hasn't done anything wrong, but you treat her fucking awful" Taehyung glared at Yoongi.

Namjoon sighed and silenced everyone before situation gets worse. "Okay enough everyone. Just sit and eat. Don't say anything else. " he said and sighed before looking at Solar who wasn't eating. "What's wrong baby girl? You're not eating, and this is your favorite dish." Namjoon said, concerned about the younger girl.

“No, she didn’t answer her phone.” Jin said before looking at Yoongi with a sigh. “Yoongi, enough.” He said, before focusing on eating.

“I’m just not hungry.” Solar said as she scooted her chair back. “Are you sure?” Jin asked a moment later. Solar nodded, “Jungkook can have it.” She said, before walking out of the room.

Jungkook smiled as he offered to split Solar’s bowl of stew with Taehyung, who declined as he continued staring daggers at Yoongi.

The older rolled his eyes, “you’re making it uncomfortable, Taehyung.” He said, as he put his spoon down, before getting up and putting his half empty bowl into the sink.

He thanked Jin for dinner before walking out of the kitchen and going directly back to his studio, shutting the door once more.

Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung sighed sadly. "I'm worried about her" Jungkook said as he finished the rest of his soup that split with Taehyung.

"Me too. She has been acting a little strange lately....I-I hope w-we didn't do anything to make her upset at us." Jimin said, feeling tears brim his eyes. He really looked up to Jia and saw her more than just a sister, but almost like a mother since his mom abandoned him when he was younger.

"Can we save her some soup so when she comes back, she won't be hungry?" Taehyung asked Jin.

Namjoon had excused himself from table after Solar and Yoongi left. He took his empty bowl and put it in the sink before heading towards Solar's room. He knocked on it softly. "Hey baby girl, it's me. Can I come in?" He asked softly, waiting for her to let him in. When she does, Namjoon walked in and sat next to her on the bed. "It's just us two, so you can tell me what's wrong. Do I need to kick someone's ass?" He asked with a small smile on his lips to get her to smile."

Jin frowned as he listened to the younger boys talk about Jia. “Hey, you three didn’t do anything to upset her, it’s Yoongi, but don’t worry, I am going to talk to Yoongi about it later on.” Jin gave them a smile, hoping to get them to cheer up slightly.

“What about Solar? She is more quiet than usual, usually she is bouncing off the wall with Jungkook, but the last couple of times she’s been here, she has been quiet.” Hoseok said. He was worried about the youngest member, just like Namjoon.

“I noticed that too...but, I don’t think she will talk to either of us about it, she only seems to be close to Namjoon, Yoongi and Taehyung. Solar hasn’t said anything to you, has she, Tae?” Jin asked him.

Solar looked him, smiling a tiny bit. “Maybe...I don’t know..” she said, looking down at her fingers while playing with the loose threads of her sweatshirt.

“My step dad and I got into a fight before I came here and it didn’t go well...” Solar sighed. “I just don’t know why he hates me...I never asked for any of this..” she said softly, more to herself than to Namjoon.

Taehyung shook his head, "No I haven't heard anything from her. But I'm sure it probably has something to do with her parents." He said as he looked in the direction of Solar's room before facing the others.

Soon they heard the front door open and close and footsteps coming in. It was then they realized that Jia had returned after being gone for a few hours. Jimin and Jungkook ran to her giving her a hug, apologizing to her.

Jia finally came home after spending a few hours with Jongup, getting high and letting him fuck her. She was still high, but Jia was able to cover it up so that none of her friends would notice, especially Jin. He would flip out if he found out she was using again. When she walked back into the warehouse, she saw Jimin and Jungkook run towards her, hugging her tightly and apologizing to her like they hurt her. "Kookie, Chim-Chim, you don't have to apologize. You did nothing wrong. Besides I'm okay now." She said, kissing the top of their heads after hugging them. They let go of her and she moved towards the kitchen, passing by Jin as she was making her way to her room. "I'm fine Jimm I just needed to cool off for a few hours." She said, not wanting to talk to him, knowing he would find out.

Namjoon sighed, knowing how god awful her stepdad and stepbrother are and how they treat her so badly. "Not that I think this is an excuse for them to hurt you, but the only thing I can think of is that they are jealous of you because you had a closer relationship with your mother than they did. But I'm sure they were awful human beings before your mom got with him. However, you do not deserve to be treated awfully by them." He said and held her close. "How about you stay with me for a few days to get away for a bit."

Jin looked at her as the younger kids and Hoseok left the kitchen. “Are you sure you’re okay, Jia?” He asked as he walked over, placing an arm over her shoulder. “You know, you can always talk to me, Jia, I told you I would always be here for you.” He said, leaning forward and kissing the side of her head by her temple.

“The kids insisted on saving some soup for you, it’s in the microwave. Also, if you get a chance, do you think you could talk to Solar? Hoseok noticed she has been acting different lately, and I’m pretty sure we all know why...but maybe she will tell you.” Jin said, letting his hand linger on the small of her back for a moment.

Solar looked at Namjoon. “I appreciate the offer, oppa, but I don’t think it’s a good idea. My step dad is already accusing me of sleeping with everyone here, because I always borrow everyone’s clothes, I could imagine how he would be if I spent time at your place....maybe I can stay wit Jia unnie..” she said softly.

Jia sighed, feeling a little agitated. "What do want me to say Jin? Of course I'm not okay. Your fucking horrible piece of shit friend put his hands on me and then put me in a dangerous chokehold. You need to knock some sense into him before I do." She said, raising her voice slightly towards the end.

Again her faced soften when he mentioned the kids. She loved them so much and she always feels awful when they witness her acting like this. "I love them so goddamn much. They are so thoughtful.." she said and then sighed before nodding. "I'll try to talk to her, but I doubt I'll get any answers." Jia faced him and leaned her forehead against his before she pressed a small kiss to his lips. "If there's nothing else. I'm going to warm up my soup and go to my room."

"I get it." Namjoon said and hugged Solar close to him. "I just want you to be safe. I get sad when you're not okay." He hugged her once more. "That's a better idea. I'm sure Jia would love to have you with her. That way I can come check on you over there "

Jin smiled, kissing her back, even if it was just a little one. “That’s fine, Jia. In fact, I’ll go talk to Yoongi right now. Enjoy your soup.” He said, before turning and leaving the kitchen.

He went to Yoongi’s studio and knocked on the door. “Yoongi, it’s Jin-hyung, can I come in?” He asked. He heard a “yes” before he opened the door, closing it behind him as he walked in and took a seat at the computer beside Yoongi, who was still working on his song.

Solar nodded. “I think I’m going to see if Jia unnie is back. Thanks for checking on me, oppa.” She said, giving him a hug. She pulled back before exiting the room, going into the kitchen.

“Unnie?” She called out, seeing Jia sitting at the table, eating her soup. She walked over and sat down, “I’m sorry for bothering you while you’re eating, but can I...talk to you?” She asked softly.

Jia looked over to the younger girl and nodded with a smile. "You're not bothering me, come sit." She gestured over to the empty seat at the table. "Want some?" She asked pointing her bowl of stew. "What is it that you want to talk to me about?"

Yoongi sighed when he heard Jin knock on his door, knowing he won't leave unless he talks to him. "Come in" he grunted before letting out another sigh when the older man came in and sat at the computer side by him. "What do you want Jin? You know it's crucial that I finish this track."

“No thank you, unnie.” Solar shook her head. She looked at her. “Is it okay if I stay with you at your place for a while? Things are getting worse at home...and I don’t know if I should stay there right now,” she said and looked away for a moment, “Joonie oppa said I could stay with him but my stepdad already thinks I am sleeping with all the guys here...so I told him it’s probably not a good idea.”

“I know but we need to talk a moment. You gotta cut back on your drinking, Yoongi. You become malicious when you’re drunk and you take your frustration out on Jia for whatever reason.” Jin sighed. “Plus, the kids are starting to become scared of you, they can’t talk to you without fear that you’ll snap at them.” He said, running a hand through his hair.
