Makenna gently squeezed his hand. She smiled when they arrived and sat up. “It looks nice” she said softly.

Jacob nodded, "I'm glad you approve, I really like this place," he said softly. He climbed out of the car, before walking around to her side, opening the door for her. He offered her his hand.

Makenna smiled and grabbed his hand, getting out with him. “Thank you” she said softly.

Jacob smiled, "any time my love," he said softly. He led her inside, and asked for a corner table. He led her to a table, sitting in the corner, with a view out the window to the street.

Makenna followed him into the restaurant. She sat down and started to look over the menu.

Jacob settled in, and happily just sat watching her. She was a welcome sight, very beautiful. He poured himself a water, taking a small sip

Makenna sipped her water as she looked over the menu. She happened to look up at him. “What do you get here?” She asked

Jacob watched her, and smiled gently, "I like the bacon and eggs," he said softly. He paused, "they also do a pretty good avocado on toast," he added

Makenna smiled. “I think I’ll have some coffee and try the bacon with eggs” she said before taking another sip of her water.

Jacob nodded, "that is a great choice," he said softly. He smiled as the waitress came over and took their order for breakfast. He decided on the bacon and eggs also.

Makenna ordered her breakfast and then asked for some coffee. She sipped her water, relaxing in her seat once she was done ordering.

Jacob smiled and watched her, he sat back as the waitress walked off with the order. "What is on your mind Makenna?" he asked her softly. He wanted to talk about everything, properly, see where her head was with everything that happened.

“Just that I am looking forward to spending more time with you” Makenna said as she watched him. “What about you?” She then asked before thanking the waitress when she brought the coffee. She added cream and sugar.

Jacob smiled at her, "oh just how I'm lucky to have met you," he said softly. He reached over and grabbed her hand. "how serious do you want this relationship to get?" he asked curious

Makenna smiled as she gently squeezed his hand when he grabbed hers. “I would like it to be pretty serious. What about you?” She asked him. She felt a connection with him.

Jacob nodded softly, "I was thinking the same thing," he said honestly. He smiled at her, "perhaps we should pace ourselves though, is my thoughts," he added

Makenna took a sip of her coffee as she watched him. “I agree. Taking things slow will be best” she said softly.

Jacob smiled when she agreed with him, "I'm glad you feel that way," he said softly. He looked up as their food was brought to the table.

Makenna smiled sweetly at the waitress. “thank you” she said softly before taking a sip of coffee. She waited for him to begin to eat before eating her self.

Jacob smiled watching her, "so tell me, what got you into what you do?" he asked curious
